Best Plumbing Services in Aurora, CO
Chris arrived exactly when he said he would. Did a great job on fixing some only flue pipe on my furnace, noticed some bad tubing coming from my humidifier. Gave me instructions on what I needed to buy and left me some screws so I could have what I needed to fix it. Then realized he had extra tubing on his truck took care of that as well at no extra charge. I would definitely use this company again and will recommend to others.

My water heater was leaking earlier in the week. Josh came out as scheduled. He was courteous and professional. The estimate was $500 more than the phone estimate because the closet was super tight. Water heater was right next to the HVAC system. He had to disconnect part of the humidifier tubing and gas line that fed into the HVAC to get the water heater out. I didn't even know that I had a humidifier attached to the HVAC. After the job was complete, Josh turned it on for me. I was happy with the results, but giving it 3 stars because I'm just not sure the extra work that took maybe another hour warranted an extra $500. I know this is a job that I could never have done myself, but still feeling the labor was expensive.

Called for a emergency sewer repair and the excavation went great especially with city requirements. Got my water back on in just one day! Definitely going to call again in the future.

I called Big Apple Plumbing and Heating because the hot water heater at a rental house I manage was not producing anything beyond barely lukewarm water. I was impressed that they were able to get someone out to the house in the same business day that I called, but that was all I was impressed with. Jason, who answered the phone upon my initial call, jumped straight to the question, Do you need a new heater? Not knowing the issue with my current heater, I explained that I'd like someone to look at it to tell me why it wasn't doing its job. Upon the technician coming out to the property, Jason called me back. He said, The problem is your hot water heater is running out of hot water really quickly. Well, yes, that's why I called for help in the first place. I had to prod him for what was the root of the problem, to which he replied with a great sense of haughtiness, Well, it could be that your hot water heater is this so-and-so brand, which sucks, it's 9 years old and probably full of sediment. I felt like Jason was speaking to me as if I was a child who was in trouble. Then, the only solution he provided was, Well, you need a new heater. When I responded with how he made me feel on the phone call (politely, mind you), he told me I needed to call another service. Rather than educating me through what the issue was and why it would be better and more effective to replace the current hot water heater with a new one, he made me feel like I was an idiot who was demanding the world when all I asked for was more of an explanation than, Your hot water heater is running out of hot water quickly. What a terrible experience. I own several homes around Denver, and I will NOT be using this service to help with ANY of them.
Update to my review: Jason just called me back to ask me about this review (within minutes of me posting it), and when I politely stood by everything I had written above, he told me that I was a terrible person, twice. Quote: You are a terrible person. You are a TERRIBLE person. You have a great life. I am truly speechless.
Second update to my review: Jason's account of our interaction is untruthful, misrepresented, and conveyed in the same, defensive tone with which he spoke to me on the phone after I asked him what was wrong with the water heater. I asked questions on the call because he did not provide an explanation of what wasn't working before telling me I needed a new one. I was never rude; just honest that I felt like he wasn't being upfront with me. That seems to be what set him off. The account of his follow-up call upon me posting this accurate review is verbatim what was said to me. I will not be bullied into taking down this review. User: take heed.

A property inspector discovered our water heater was leaking both water and gas so we were in a hurry to have it replaced ASAP. Todd and his crew were able to give us a reasonable quote over the phone only with a few photos. He was super responsive and got the job done quickly and even discounted the original quote when he found out I was a teacher. We look forward to using them again in the future!

The owners of this company are the best. We had an Infinity furnace installed and they were very responsive to a customer service issue. KyleG or K2 did an excellent job on the installation of the furnace and WiFi thermostat. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a new furnace or service on an existing furnace. I highly recommend the Carrier Infinity furnace.

Honest, reputable, responsive and reasonably priced...Everything you want when looking for some repairs. Before turning to huge national chain company just because you've seen their name, give your business to a local company that cares. My hot water heater went out and they did a great job replacing it as well as rerouted the drain line that was previously poorly installed by the builder.

We hired Aurora plumbing to check for a natural gas leak. On the plus side, they had availability the next day and showed up on time. The downside is that after testing and finding that we were just missing an inexpensive cap, we were charged $500. For about 30 min of work. Can't figure out if the labor is worth $1000 an hour or if we have the world's most valuable cap....

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I cannot tell you what a disappointment they are. Kept lying about when they were coming ( we had a blocked sewer so) it took 3 Days!! Then after they did the job the cost changed to $425, on the radio it said $99. Now 4 weeks later our sewer is backed up again! They won't back up their own work and come out to fix it!! If I could rate them NO stars I would!

In my opinion, avoid at all costs because he will most likely cost you $$$$! Promises the world, provides a low quote, takes your $, never shows on time or at all, blows off deadlines/due dates, doesn't use agreed upon materials/supplies, performs a fraction of the work, causes expensive damage, and disappears into the night with the supplies/materials.
If you are foolish enough to consider using Silas Cortez after reading this and other reviews: get a solid contract, take pictures of everyone's face and their license plates, don't give money up front, be available to watch them like a hawk, and get a good attorney because you will most likely need one.
If something seems too good to be true, it will most likely be in this case. I should have read the reviews first:(
