I spend days searching for a good honest plumber for our sewer problem. I decided on Courtesy Plumbing and glad I did. I gave them a call and someone answered the phone which a step in the right direction. She said someone will be out tomorrow.
Mike arrived and looked over our problem and informed us to start with our city as the ground on the parkway was starting to cave in over the water main.
I will be calling them back if needed and I highly recommend them!

Updating my previous review. The gentlemen who came to our house was strongly affirming we did not have a plumbing issue. Turns out after doing some additional investigation, as curious homeowners, not certified plumbers, we DO in fact have plumbing issues.

So after spending a few hundred dollars fixing our roof, since we trusted this plumbers assessment that it was NOT a plumbing issue, we were still experiencing a leak. It turns out that the vents for the sink and toilet are not properly connected, or fitted. This is NOT the work of courtesy plumbing mind you, but they failed to identify this issue, given 2 opportunities. I would also have to give some benefit of the doubt to the gentleman who came out, as this construction should have never passed inspection, and I'm sure is fairly uncommon.

My wife and I had an issue with our shower not turning off, causing us to have to turn off the water for the whole house, which as you could imagine is pretty annoying.

We called Courtesy Plumbing and they were able to schedule an appointment for us in just a few hours. Their plumber, Anthony, showed up right on time and diagnosed the problem quickly and was very communicative during the whole process.

Anthony gave us options on how to fix the problem and was upfront with costs and ways to cut down the price if we needed to. He was able to fix the problem at a reasonable price and now we have a working shower again!

Highly recommended for your plumbing needs.

I had a not so nice reason for calling Courtesy, but 100% satisfied with their service and response. Had to have them out twice in a 24 hour time span. Not happy about that, but my tech Mike was truly a gem. Was so professional and understanding of my situation and helped ease my frustration and installed my new toilet!!!! Courtesy sent out a plumber who explained what he thought was the problem & let me know upfront how much the price of rooting out my sewer line would be. Most certainly courteous and professional. I look forward to using them in the future and I highly recommend them.

Nick was unbelievable! He was called to help a neighbor across the street from us. That's when we realized that we also had a plumbing issue. Walked across the street to ask for help. I don't use Yelp much, but I have to write about this fantastic experience!! So many things I loved about Courtesy Plumbing. I was able to set up an appointment very quickly and they were able to come the next day. The lady over the phone had brought up cleaning the sink's aerator. I had already done that, but it's appreciated that they would ask because lesser companies might not have brought that up in order to ensure an appointment happens to get a quote in.

Their onsite estimate was absolutely free. ANTHONY was wonderful and we'll definitely ask for him next time we need anything done! He took his shoes off when he came in without being asked which was very respectful of him. He diagnosed our situation and explained it to us very well. He expertly answered all of the questions we had. He even quickly looked into our sink's draining without being asked. The sink's water pressure is much better now. Anthony gave us options of what to do if the problem happens again and have us a strong recommendation on what sink to get if we need to replace the sink.

In general, from start to finish, this company felt very honest and we appreciated that their #1 concern was always to help us.

We called Courtesy to rod out a pipe at the laundry drain.  After explaining the problem to Ronnie and looking at the pipes in the basement, Ronnie, who was extremely professional and kind, explained that he didn't think the problem was the drain/pipe.  He didn't rush out of the house - he explained what he thought we needed, which we greatly appreciated.  And the best part - NO CHARGE FOR COMING OUT.  Where can you find a plumber that doesn't charge a service charge for coming out?  Only Courtesy Plumbing that I know of...
I don't know if it's a family owned business or not -but they sure treated us like family!  Our sincere thanks to all.

I've seen the trucks all over the area for years,  the only thing was I didn't need a plumber at the time.   When I needed a plumber I knew who to call.  I did read the reviews and it was clear unlike a clogged line to the sewer, to call Courtesy Plumbing.   Prompt and professional and very clear on how pricing works, I would not at all hesitate to highly recommend them.   I'll need them to come out again and rod and I have confidence in their ability to do the job and do it well.

Had a great first experience with Courtesy Plumbing!  Dishwasher wasn't working so called a technician to repair it. He had to leave it overnight to get a part. My wife went to wash dishes at the sink and water began pouring out of the cabinet underneath. Called Courtesy the next day. They gave me a two hour window to have someone out. Within 30 mins they called and asked if it was ok to have someone to arrive within 30 minutes! ?!  Plumber arrived exactly on time and within minutes diagnosed the problem. Told us how to explain the problem to the dishwasher tech. Said he could make the repairs but it would be a $400-$500 job and not really necessary.  Assured us it would be fine once the dishwasher repairs were done. Said he'd come right back if needed. He left and didn't charge us a thing!!   Once the Dishwasher tech was finished everything worked great.  No more leaks.  We So appreciated the honesty of the Plummer and quick  service!!! Will definitely call them again next time have a plumbing problem.

Anthony Pasderetz installed a 1 piece toilet and ensured it meets handicap-accessible laws, summarized the job with a detailed report, gave me the quoted price with potential for adds in cost of the job was more complex than anticipated (ahead of time) so no surprises, found an issue I would never have caught that would have cost me time and $ in the future ... resolved everything in a short amount of time ... after 3 previous plumbers (excellent by the way) were not able ... maybe not state of the art tools, anyway Courtesy is a DEFINITE recommend)!

Our kitchen sink stopped working a couple of days ago and after failing miserably trying to self-diagnose, I went onto Yelp to find a certified plumber to come out. I called Courtesy on yesterday and they were able to promptly get someone scheduled to come out less than 24 hours later (on New Year's Eve).  Jason called me when he was 15 minutes away and was prompt,  courteous, and professional.  The problem ended up being very minor (thankfully). Although he could've charged me a trip charge without hesitation, he did not. Literally, he made my day! I will definitely use Courtesy again and will proudly recommend them to others.

OMG!! We had an issue with our refrigerator's  water line. Water poured out for 24 hours and we were at out wits ends. We called Courtesy Plumbing based on their customers reviews and were given an arrival time.

First of all, Nick, the plumber they sent was punctual and professional. He listened attentively as I described what was going  on. Then, like a true professional, he did his own investigation. We shadowed his progress and put us at ease as he identified the source of our water problem.

Nick provided us with an  honest and fair quote and quickly started to work. He cleaned up after himself and was quite thorough. I cannot say enough about Nick and am grateful for what he accomplished in a short amount of time. I would definitely recommend Courtesy Plumbing  to my friends and neighbors. When our home needs any plumbing repairs, I will certainly ask for Nick.

We moved into a new (to us) house and had to have the sprinkler backflow valve checked per city requirements. The technician who came out was the owner. He was pleasant, professional, and showed up on time.  He verified that all was okay and was happy to answer all of my questions about the existing installation. We will be using Courtesy Plumbing in the future for any plumbing issues that may come up.

Quick and responsive and reliable. They fixed only what was needed to be fixed very honest business.

We cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Courtesy Plumbing. Our garbage disposal was pouring water out of its bottom and after a call to a very compassionate receptionist, our anxiety was lessened. Jason showed up at our door this morning at 8 a.m. and assessed the need for a new one. He was back later to install a new one for us. Shout out to our plumber Anthony; he did a great job. It only cost us $ 350. Way more affordable than ABC plumbing, which gave us a quote of $ 1350. I would recommend them to anybody will gladly call them again for another project we will be having in the future.

My ejector pump failed.  Got lucky that I was cleaning out the basement and noticed the ejector well starting to overflow. The prongs on the plug were burnt black!  

Called Courtesy plumbing, on a Saturday at 4:45 pm and they had someone out by 6.  Replaced the pump within an hour and had me back up.  

During these scary times, these are the unsung heroes and I very much appreciate their work!  

I am very satisfied and will keep them in mind for any future work.

Joe Neace came out to our house to fix two toilets Home Depot had set incorrectly and destroyed my kitchen ceiling.  He also rodded out my main sewer and flushed it.  Joe was such a nice and courteous person to work with.  He was thorough and tested everything several times to make sure it was 100%.  I could not be happier with him and Courtesy Plumbing!!!!!!!!  HIGHLY RECOMMEND and ask for Joe!

Our water heater went out and Nick was able to come out the same day and replace it... great service, good price and excellent communication. They also advocated on my behalf with the manufacturer on the possibility of a credit for the old WH. Several weeks later I had a question about the WH and they came right out, answered my questions and didn't charge a service fee.  They've been wonderful to work with and are highly recommended.

I had both bath tubs back up in my rental unit in Aurora, IL. I had two plumbers, including Courtest Plumbing, and a drain cleaning company try to rod out the line all to no avail. Mike, with Courtesy, told me they would have to remove the tub and tub surround panels and jack hammer the slab underneath to get at the plugged up line. Mike and his partner were very knowledgeable about the situation, they were courteous, and I decided to go with them because of Courtesy's 40 years experience in the plumbing business. They did exactly as they said they would do and found 40 years of hair plugging the line up. They removed the plugged up galvanized pipe and replaced it with PVC pipe and re-cemented the hole where they excavated in the slab.
They were prompt, they were neat and clean, and they did exactly what had to be done. I will , definitely, use Courtesy plumbing in the future for any of my future plumbing needs.

Called this morning to set up an appointment after noticing a water spot last evening. I had already done some work, figuring the issue was with the shower/tub upstairs. Nick G. helped me understand the different things to look for in supply vs drain related issues, identified the root cause with the drain and resolved the issue. Along the way he made sure I understood what too look for with future issues. He was exceptionally respectful and knowledgeable... I've now found my plumber for the long run. Thank you!

Unfortunately we needed some pipes to be rodded. Fortunately we found this company. We have had them out on 3 seperate occasions for different issues.

Each time we had a different guy but all were equally polite, professional and got the job done quickly. They are the most reasonably priced company in our area and surrounding area. They show up on time everytime.

James of Courtesy Plumbing came out today and gave me a quote... I bargained a little and we agreed on the price. When he was performing the work I asked James if he could also install the toilet cabinet/vanity that I removed due to the water leak issue. James agreed and finished the leak issue behind the walls (very hard to get into unless you are as tall with long arms like James). Re-installed the toilet vanity, tested the work for leak/s and no problem. Excellent job.

I'm a pretty handy guy but in order for me to fix this issue I would have to buy some tools I do not have and not be able to use it again, if ever.

Fast service and friendly. Came out on a Sunday for an emergency repair for leaking faucet. Arrived quickly and repaired fast also. Mike was great. This is our second time using them.

Great company.  Came out right away. Walked me through every step and was able to get the toliet slighty working  so I could at least use it for a few days until they could come and dig and fix the issue. Dig went great and they were able to get everything taken care of. And was half the price of another company that came out and couldn't fix the issue.

I've reviewed before but wanted to share my last 2 experiences. During the brutal cold this winter I had a pipe burst in my basement. Courtesy Plumbing was out first thing in the morning to locate the broken pipe and repair it. After finding 2 split pipes Matt Blankenship cleaned the area and told me what I needed to keep if I needed to file an insurance claim.

Because I'm more afraid of water than electricity, I had then out today to replace a toilet that had a bad seal. Again Matt Blankenship showed up ...gave the quote up front and while we had the toilet pulled up to replace the wax ring we had the bowl replaced too. Again, excellent job and left as clean as when he started.

We have been using them for years and every time they're in we know why!

A few weeks ago my sink was backed up and now this week a pipe burst and water was pouring into my basement.  Courtesy Plumbing and Mike were super fast to show up, super clean, and overall extremely fair. Thank you!

This business was contracted by my condo association and they recommended I replace my garbage disposal. They quoted $425 to replace the disposal for my 1 bedroom condo. The plumber told me it cost about $300 to install and $125 for the disposal, which is outrageous cost for an install. If you call they will give you a range of options but they did not offer any options while they were in my unit doing work. They are obviously out to make as much money off you as possible. I would recommend getting work done by a more ethical business.

These people came out to the complex, didn't give us proper notice, shut our water off, because they were working in the building unannounced. I saw the one plumber in his vehicle texting, when I returned, he jumped out and ran into the building. I was gone for about 25 minutes. I have watched these guys milk the clock, so much, its ridiculous!! Getting back to my misfortune with them. Since, they were in the building unannounced, I was struggling to get water to bathe with, since, they turned the water off. I subsequently had to leave, and forgot to put the lever down, because no water was coming out. I got a call from the neighbor explaining there was water coming into the laundry room. They turned off the water, but, never called me, nor did the Association. Had they called me, I would have instructed my friend to bring my key, so that they could enter my unit properly....instead, they broke into my home....breaking my stick, holding the window close, and forcefully entered my home, and taking some important items!!! I filed a police report, and they basically did nothing. They also left the chair under my window all weekend, that they used to gain entry!!! How irresponsible!!! In addition, to leaving my unit available for anyone to come in. I am saying to you.....potential clients....do not use this company!!! They may have a few positive ratings, but, this is the real truth about this company. They do dirty stuff like this, then hide behind the Association, to get away with dirty deeds!!!! You have been warned!!!! Of course you would defend the actions of your company....should I post the police report, and the police response??? You can call the new Association that was just put in place after the incident!!! I am not going to go back and forth with you Michael....keep defending the actions of your irresponsible workers!!!! By the way Robyn Braun, just started with the Association, in November or December!!!! Right there, he claims to have known her for 15 years. So, I don't think that's going to help you Michael!!! Train your people better!!!

I am a business owner x3, and I am also a consumer. I am letting people know to be aware of this company.
I reached out to these people requesting payment for my loss, and they never answered. They left my unit open, with a chair under my window, and think they are not responsible!! They took the screen out, and never put it back, I've found it.......I warn you people, I have spoken to many people in this complex, and they prefer that this company not working on the premises. There have been many complaints about this company!!! I encourage anyone wanting to do business with them, to read and share this review.....this is very serious!!!

I used Courtesy in the past and they did a great job, but a month ago I called them for an electrical issue, a return vent issue and two plumbing issues and they only fixed the return vent issue.
When I called to tell them this, the lady who answered the phone, who wasn't very nice, said I would probably be charged again despite the receipt saying they give a 30 day guarantee for their work.
I will never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone.

We had a water pipe burst during the very cold weather, called Courtesy Plumbing at 1 in the morning in a panic. The person who answered the phone was very kind and reassuring, in spite of waking him up! The plumber, Dave M., as out to the house by early afternoon to repair the pipe. He was efficient, thorough, professional, very pleasant and informative. He explained each step of what he was going to do, and made recommendations to prevent future problems. He explained the charges in advance. Courtesy Plumbing has done work for us before, to the highest standards. HIGHLY recommended. Thank you!

We recently had a leak in our kitchen ceiling, coming from a bathroom upstairs.  Courtesy Plumbing was quick to respond and was able to come out that same day to give us a quote.  Jason was kind and professional and was able to identify the source of the problem.  I would recommend Courtesy Plumbing and plan to use them in the future if needs arise.

We reported a faucet flexible pipe leak along with garbage disposal leak/failure.  The leak was identified/new copper pipe extension was installed and the new garbage disposal (Home Depot purchased) was installed.  Jason from Courtesy Plumbing was on time, polite and completed the job to our satisfaction.

Our water heater went out on last Saturday night.  Called Courtesy since they were the only place open 24/7.  Same as some of the others I was charged $150 for them to come out.  The technician, Justin's work was extremely clean and efficient, which was very appreciated given the time of night.  He was also a super nice guy.  Not that we had a choice, but the service was so good, we'd use them again.

The best this company really works with you and makes sure you are happy with the work. Hats off to your work. I would only call Courtesy.

Justin came out for a major leak. We had no idea where it was coming from.. He did some incredible detective work and solved the problem.. I am not sure how he did it but I was impressed. I feel Ripped off. $125 for a 3 minute service call. Plumber Re-lit my pilot light on my water heater. Didn't service it (drain it) or do anything else. How can they justify the cost of their service.  I won't be recomme ding them to anyone. Avoid.

Had a plugged drain.  Technician came out, took 15 minutes to clear the drain and then charged me nearly $350.  Ridiculous amount for that level of work.  Always ask for the companies service rates and do they charge for travel to your location.

I had Jason out providing a quote for our leaking shower drain. He was fantastic with looking for solutions to fix our problem with the minimum cost and trouble for us first. He also diagnosed the issue quickly and talked through all the options with us patiently when I had questions. Would definitely have them out to look at any of our issues as they were professional and friendly with zero pressure. Thank you Jason! While I hope that we don't need your services again any time soon, you'll be a go to for my plumbing needs.

The best service I've ever received from a company! My husband & I have been clients for years & the service continues to be excellent! Each plumber has been so kind & respectful, hence the name Courtesy Plumbing.  As a women I don't always feel safe w/ repairmen in my home. However, the plumbers at Courtesy Plumbing never make me feel uncomfortable! It's like your friend is helping you! The plumbers are just good people who do great work!

This is the second time I have called Courtesy and highly recommend them. Both times the plumbers were courteous, honest and were on time! Mike took a look at my bathroom sink, said it was probably the trap needing cleaned out. Asked if my husband was handy and could do the job. When I told him yes, he said great that he would hate to charge me for something my husband could handle.
He fixed the toilet when he was here and did a great job. I will definitely be using them again.

I had family over for the holidays and noticed a drain that was backed-up outside of the house on a Sunday night. Courtesy Plumbing sent out James the next day and scoped the sewer line, it was completely collapsed. Turns out my home had an old clay sewer line. I couldn't use any water because it was sealed shut with mud and roots. Courtesy Plumbing managed to get a crew out to my home the very next day to replace the sewer line. They were very careful with the sump pump discharge line, the water line, and the gas line all within a few feet of where the sewer line ran to the main. I would recommend them to anyone.

Answered the phone quickly and gave us a fair price to get our emergency Sunday repair done that day. Would definitely use again.

We had courtesy plumbing come out after we had a new kitchen sink installed.   Unforunately the person before didn't know that the piping need to be reconfigured.   We also had a new toilet recplaced.   Everything thing went smooth, Matt B was the person who did the repairs and he was great.   We are very happy that we went with courtesy plumbing.    We have used plumbers in the area in the past and unforunately their service has declined.... so glad to have found a company that is honest and does great work

Justin of Courtesy Plumbing came out today to install a reverse osmosis water filtration system under our kitchen sink to replace the existing system. From the point of entering the house till he left, Justin was very professional. He explained what he saw under the sink and what he would have to do to install the RO system and gave me the monetary estimate. Once I gave the approval, he went to work, and was very busy hooking up lines and installing different plumbing valves and other stuff. Once he was done, he showed me what he did and what the different lines were for and explained how the system works. I was very impressed with his knowledge and was pleased with the work and how he cleaned up the area and the materials. Courtesy Plumbing will certainly get more work from us in the future. I had an appointment scheduled and no one ever showed up during the timeframe I was given. When I called to check the status a woman told me that she remembered making the appointment and did not know why someone didn't show up.

We've had Frankie out to our home several times - and actually look forward to it! Not many people can say that about using a plumber. He can always come right away and spends time with us to really understand the problem. He always offers the cheapest solutions and even provided us with a free showerhead he had in the truck when our's needed to be replaced. We are customers for life and can't imagine ever going elsewhere. The prices are fair, it's easy to make an appointment and I'm comfortable having them in our home.

Courtesy Plumbing is awesome.  We have had them install new plumbing for a bathroom as well as fix plumbing and install a new tub in an existing bathroom.  They are very courteous, knowledgeable, delivered what they promised and their pricing is reasonable.  Matt was especially helpful answering any questions we had about the work and how the plumbing in our 40-year old house was set up. We would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work.

Steve was amazing.  Very knowledgeable, professional and courteous.  Very helpful as to how to prevent issues in the future.  Courtesy Plumbing was able to get Steve out within an hour and a half of my call time and the issue was fixed quickly.  Reliable and will be my go to for a plumber in the future.

I scheduled an appointment for sewer rodding as a precaution on the advice of my home inspector. Frankie came out and was very honest about our plumbing system. Based on the conversation we decided to not even have the service done. He was super nice about it and didn't try to hard sell us into any other service. Since he was already out at our home he went ahead and completed a free inspection of our hot water heater, ejection pump, and sump pump as well. I felt slightly bad that he came out and I didn't even have to pay for anything, but if I have any plumbing issues in the future I will definitely be calling courtesy plumbing.

Very satisfied with an emergency repair to a frozen water pipe that burst in my basement.  The 2man team arrived same day service, diagnosed the problem, made minimal cut into the wall, good clean up, double checked the water was flowing properly to entire house again and the through the repaired water pipe.  Under 1.5 hours total time they were at my home, and used YellowPages coupon.
