George was the best. Personable, answered questions, came out at night, got the problems fixed each time with only one visit.

I thought I'd finally found a competent, honest electrician. I was overjoyed.

However I am under the impression he retired. The last time I tried to reach him, I got no response despite numerous attempts. The web site listed is not functional.

If George is still in business, I can't recommend him highly enough.

Super unprofessional. Did not have them do any work. called for an estimate and they wanted to charge to come out. Thanked them for their time but declined as do not wish to pay for an estimate. They then texted me that they would provide free estimate. I gave them my address and they never showed up today. Two other electricians came and provided free estimates. I texted The Electrician tonight that as they were not able to come by today, then I no longer needed an estimate from them and the response was ok, wasn't planning on going anyhow you didn't want to pay why would I deal with you. All I could think was if this is how they treat a potential customer then how would it be if I hired them. very poor customer service.

George was 15 minutes early and was able to fix the problem quickly. He did not waste any time and seemed very experienced and knowledgeable. One of our circuit breakers kept tripping and within 30 minutes he resolved the problem and everything was back in working order.

Very glad I was able to connect with George on a small project. First off he is a genuine person that is diligent and carries with Jon a great demeanor.

He has been doing this work for 50 + years and is very efficient and knowledgeable. I had small job and he was able to get it assessed and resolved in 30 minutes or so.

George the Electrician showed up a bit early from the scheduled appointment, which was wonderful compared to other service people who may arrive late. He fixed my broken GFI outlet and used the correct 12G gauge wire upgrading my previous 15 amps to the 20 amps that was already available. He showed me the previously used smaller 14 gauge wire, which was also improperly connected and may have caused the faulty outlet issue.

George then checked the power to my doorbell wire, which was dead and most likely disconnected. We discussed options and decided to install a 24V 40VA thermostat and doorbell transformer, which I had already purchased online. He installed it next to the existing junction box located in the garage. He easily and expertly installed the wiring. He then proceeded to install my new doorbell camera after reviewing the manual and video instructions. He also installed a metal cover plate, which he had to drill new holes into so that the doorbell could be properly affixed. The previous owner had left a big gaping hole, whereby the new slim doorbell camera could not coverup and avoid having to paint over exposed old stucco color.

I highly recommend George the Electrician, who is licensed and insured. He has over 50 years of experience and is always prompt in returning calls or texts. His rates are reasonable and he tries to find the best solution to a tricky job.

I'm writing this review to give recommendation to George, the owner of The Electrician. We had another company came out prior and wanted $350 to repair our overhead closet light. After back and forth we agreed on $195 and 20 mins in, they wanted to charge me more because they said they had to remove some drywalls since they are not detecting power in the ceiling where the lighting canister is at. I pretty much told them to take a hike.

Past forward to present, George came out and ( super nice gentleman) within 15 mins he detected the problem, took him another 20 to fix and get our light up and running - no drywall removal. He provided a new lighting fixture, which he charged $15 - he could have charged easily double that. Long story short, my total bill was $105, that's with $90 (his hourly rate) labor and $15 in parts, I gave him $120 b/c the experience was very pleasant.

I don't even know where to begin!!! George is THE BEST EVER!

I seriously wish i could give more than 5 stars! We had such a disastrous Friday morning on 10/18. Our power was out and we thought it was a neighborhood outage, I called the City of Anaheim to check it out and nope, it was just our house. The City did send someone out to see what the issue was, which was beyond their call of duty. Well the man who came out told me it was a busted fuse and showed me how to fix it. What he failed to mention was I should not be changing the fuse myself and I could've electrocuted myself and not be here writing this review. Anyway, after the FD went over what was going on, it turned out we had faulty wiring and needed an electrician. I checked here on Yelp and found George.

At this point, we were without power for 5 hours and I spoke to George and he gave me a time and made it to my house earlier than the anticipated time! Right away you could tell he was a kind and generous man, which is HUGE to me because you cannot trust anyone these days!
He explained in detail someone had added some wiring for an electric dryer and we have gas. He then let me know what was needed and what he was going to do.

He was so efficient, thorough and did not take a long time! His price is right and I highly recommend him! I have been raving about him to my friends and giving his info to them! like i said, hes thorough, efficient and honest, something you do not find much of these days!

George, you get 10 stars in my book!!!! thank you for saving us!!!!

All the 5 star reviews are not an exaggeration! George showed up early,explained-everything to me and cleaned up so the area was spotless. I showed him what someone told me was a problem on my electrical panel and instead of trying to up sell me he said he didn't see a problem and to call him if and when I experienced a problem. (Wow, when does this ever happen). He is such a nice man and I immediately felt a kinship as we are both Christians,
I will be using George from now on. Whoever reads this, you should too!!!

I had an entire circuit in my home office go out. I spent an entire day trying to find the culprit but failed. I called George on a Saturday evening and we arranged to have him come out Monday morning. He's a very friendly, funny, informative guy. I basically followed him around while he did his troubleshooting. He was happy to answer any technical questions I had. I learned a lot from him. He found the problem, fixed it and then set the GFI on that circuit to only impact the GFI outlet itself. He works clean and has very reasonable rates. I highly recommend him!

George is a Really Nice guy and very good at what he does. He did a job for me in the past and I couldn't be more happy with his work.

I called him a couple weeks ago, to do another job for me and waited a week for a response because I really wanted to use him. Then I called again and left Another message and waited another week and never got a response.

So... George is Great IF he calls you back. If you find yourself waiting days for a call back, I'd move on to the next company.

George was a through experienced and knowledge electrition. I had a sophisticated timer to charge my hybrid car in the middle of the night when time of day rates are cheaper. He figured out immediately what had to be done and finished in two hours. I had rigged up a cheaper timer that never charged my car up 100%. Tonight it did that. Two other contractors looked at it and passed. George gets my job every time. He is a God fearing man who grows Monarch butterflies. And they need lots of milk weed

The power went out in a part of our house. After a bad experience with one electrician we decided to to get a second opinion. We called George. He was able to come next day. We explained to him our problem and he started to hunt down the failure. Found it, fixed it. You can not beat decades of experience.
The other company wanted to exchange all switches, power outlets and spoke about to replace the wires in the wall. We were told we would have to move the furniture away from the walls. What an action....
George did not say anything like that. He simply started to track down the failure and repaired it.
George is now our go to electrician.

We called George after getting the usual run around from other local services: overpriced or two weeks out to even make an appointment. George was able to give us a very prompt response and came on time. His prices are great and he gets things done very quickly! No bs, no attitude, just the way we like it. Honest, reliable, affordable, available, speedy, makes house/business calls for projects big or small, and by far the best electrician we've ever worked with (and we've worked with a lot)! It's hard to find an electrician that's just one of these characteristics, but George captures them all. I happened to be calling around to set an appointment to have our ceiling fan replaced. Called a few different electricians-all who were busy for the next week or two.
Happened upon George's yelp add, and called. He had just had a cancellation, and I took it! He was quick, efficient and knowledgeable on all sorts of subjects. In and out within an hour! Do yourself a favor and call-even if you have to wait a week to see him.

I've used George twice in the last 5 months for two issues I've had at my car wash. George came out the same day I called and fixed both problems very quickly. Five months ago when I first called George I had already had two different electrical companies come out to fix an issue I had and they had no clue what was wrong, so of course they couldn't fix it. I called George, and I'm not even kidding, he identified and fixed the issue within an hour. George isnt only a great electrician, hes an outstanding person with great character.

George installed an NEMA 14-50 outlet we will be using for our Tesla this past November. He and his wife are great people and their work was fast and efficient. This was also the best deal we found after looking into all other electricians in the area. He was the only electrician willing to go THROUGH the cement, even if it meant more work. Professional!!!!

Seriously I have dealt with many contractors and completely understand that since you are going job to job appt times must be flexible. He was not only on time but 30 minutes early.

Worked all day (really worked not just a work slow to get more dollars for the job).

All the work was excellent quality. I didn't have to ask to have the wires tied down, ran along outside corners or edges (even when in an unexposed to view area), etc....

George had very practical suggestions and solutions to problems found. He even has a fully outfitted truck that includes supplies....and his supplies are not prohibitively expensive. His attitude was very pleasant and funny.

I will be calling him for future work.

Fyi...if you have a larger job he might be 1-2 weeks out before the work is performed. Not surprisingly he is in high demand.

George did an awesome job. I had an issue connecting my Tesla to my NEMA 10-30 dryer outlet and he resolved everything in under an hour. He also came to my house right at the time of the appointment.

I would like also to point out that his prices are very good. His rates are significantly cheaper than Johnny Electric which is another highly rated electrician in the area.

When we get our own house I will definitely hire him to install a NEMA 14-50 plug.

I can't say enough positive comments about George. Not only might he be the only punctual person in SoCal but he even arrives early. He is professional, kind, courteous, and takes the time to explain (if you wish) what he is doing. So when he leaves not only do you feel confident in the work he is doing but gain a sense that you could do some of the basics without killing yourself. I HIGHLY recommend him and we could all take a page out of his book on how to treat one another.

Five stars only scratches the surface, this man is truly a Diamond in the ruff.

This guy never picks up his phone, I have dialed x3's and no response (msg left)to a simple fix for a electrician (business must me good) and he just got back from vacation. One tip if you're in the business of providing a service do us all a favor of at least returning a call or don't solicit in my area S.A. because Yelp has you listed as a contact for a potential electrician that's all I'm saying.I don't usually like bashing or giving negative reviews cuz I'm not about taking it out my frustration this way but customers should be aware,if you live in the Santa Ana area this guy won't call back if you have a (714) area code that's all I'm saying & good luck!

He installed a ceiling fan that the general contractor messed up and left unfinished. He fixed it in a jiffy and told us what he was doing and why. He also fixed a light switch which had not been working.

I browsed around for a reliable and experienced electrician for a few days before finally catching George's page here on Yelp. When I saw all of the other reviews and read about his work on his own Web page direcrly, I knew he was the right guy for the job.

I made the initial call rather late in the workweek but George was able to fit me in for the start of the following week. I am near clueless with electricity and would rather not find out the hard way if I did something correctly so I did not hesitate to call him and explain my scenario. I didn't know how severe my issue was but George handled it without a problem. I am happy, the tenants are happy, and everyone is safe.

Now that I personally experienced George's capabilities, I feel like he would be perfect for some other jobs that I have planned for the future...

On top of all of that, George is a real down to Earth guy that you can easily have a conservation with. I genuinely believe he is one of the few Electricians out there who isn't only in it for the money. He wants to get the job done right and to keep you and the job site safe.

He was able to drop by my house quickly and fixed a burnt outlet, while providing some advice to keep the house safe from electrical fires. On top of that, he's been an electrician for at least 30 years, so he has experience and the knowledge to fix anything you throw at him. Loves his job, and overall nice guy. I finally called George after a month of having issues with handful of power outlets. It took us a month because we thought we could fix it ourselves and we wanted to save couple bucks. Well, after a month, we couldn't figure it out. So after admitting our defeat, we called George, The Electrician. He came in, diagnosed the problem and fixed it within an hour!

He could've fiddled around here and there and stayed for two or three hours, but no, George didn't waste time like that. He came, did his awesome job and left when the job was done.

What does this say about George? He is experienced and an honest electrician. And our family thanks him for that.

Just a side note. George is a very busy man. After giving him a call, his earliest availability was week and a half out. I still booked him and I'm glad I did. :)

George recently helped us run the last leg of our electrical upgrades in our game room for a wall mounted tv. We ran into a snag and didn't feel comfortable without speaking with a professional. I've been trying to get an electrician to correct some faulty wiring in my attic since early December but even the ones that came to look at it would tell me that they'd call me with an estimate and never call back. I know George for more than 10 years, he came 3 times to my house to do different jobs and each time He was on time and the job was perfectly done.
He put a huge fan on a high ceiling, hanged pending lamps, installed lights in my garage and his time installed a smart water system for my yard.
He is a man of Faith and extremely honest, I don't need to ask him how much it's going to cost me because I know it will be very fair.

George is definitely a master of his trade. He fixed 4 (or 5?) outlets, installed a receiver box in a fan and completely fixed the exposed wires and PROPERLY installed a lightbulb in the garage :,). The quality of his work exceeded my expectations. It took him about 4 hours and the price was very reasonable. Don't do what I did at first and just have someone that kinda knows try to do the job, cause the consequences could be ugly - and no, it didn't happen to me, - thank God- but it sure made me realize.

He replaced three hardwire smoke alarms without any problem. He was very efficient and clean.

We had George out to our house to install some new exterior lights. He did a fantastic job and was really reasonable. We had to have him come back out after a contractor who was doing other work, remove the lights and not reinstall them. George came back out and put it all back together for an incredibly reasonable fee. I will definitely have George back when we have the need...He's Awesome!!

George was able to come out same day and solve some dead outlets - and find some issues that we had no idea we had including outlets that were not grounded and were not to code. He was able to install several new outlets and 2 GFI outlets in the kitchen -- where he had to cut the tile even! His final invoice came in a lot lower than I expected which was excellent. I'm sure we will have more things to fix in this crazy house, we will definitely call him next time we need electrical work. He was friendly, and explained everything as he went. Highly recommended!

I called George today to request a quote to wire up my new pool filter and he immediately said he had never done anything like that but continued to give me very good recommendations as to what I should look for in selecting an electrician to do this. I was very impressed with his attitude that if he was not confident in the job he did not lead me along and ultimately charge me money for something he was not sure of. Showed a lot of integrity and these days, that is hard to find.

George is amazing!!! I had a kitchen light problem. Not only he came early he got the job done. I had another company come before him and let me tell you it was fix but next two days it was out. Called them back but they gave up on it. I was upset of the fact that they took my money but yet didn't solve the problem. George was very perfective. He checked every little thing from the switch to the fixture itself. A really funny and sweet man. But most importantly he gets it done!! I'm truly happy with his service and would definitely call him back or recommend him to family and friends. Thanks George! Now i can cook happily in the kitchen!!

He is the owner, operator and does the work himself, so when you call, you are getting him and not a less experienced guy. George is extremely honest and will tell you the truth about your job, even if it is not to his advantage. How refreshing that is! His charges are reasonable and affordable, and he is prompt. We are old school in wanting a dependable, honest, experienced electrician, and just like our last service call on Thursday, George fits the bill and gets the job done right!

Look read no further, im a retired electrician with over 60 yrs experience (but im too old to find the problem and fix it). GEORGE IS THE ELECTRICAN YOU WANT TO USE PERIOD. AMEN HE IS THE REAL DEAL. WHAT OTHER POSTS SAY ARE 100% ACCURATE. i close with a question has any repair person ever been on time (george 30 min early) did any person explain in plain english what they were doing (george did). Electric George was a great guy to do business with. We needed an electrician to come and replace a dead GFI outlet in our kitchen, inspect some other dead outlets, and take care of some exposed high-voltage wiring going into our hot tub (unfortunately NOT a time machine).

He did all these things very well, and also gave me some very reasonable quotes for several future projects I have in mind over the next year or so. All this while being very friendly to my ever-questioning 3 year old (she later told Mommy that Curious George fixed her pool), and giving me quite a bit of advice on local places - bars, restaurants, shops, etc. He also gave me a large number of snake-hunting tips (you never know when you'll need that info).

All this was done top-notch, with plenty of advice, for pretty darned cheap. George is a great guy - funny and wise, and very hardworking. He is a stong believer of Karma, and the way to get loyal customers is to do the job right the first time.

He is our Electrician for life now.

Found George through Yelp and glad I did. He was able to come and check out my electrical problem the same day at the time requested which was after I got home from work at 7PM. He quickly diagnosed the situation, explained what was wrong and what my options were for the repair. I needed some canned lights put in within a very short timeframe. I called and spoke with several electricians that all had excellent ratings however, when I spoke with George, I knew he was the right guy for the job. He showed up on time, was very pleasant to work with and charged me what he said he would charge. In addition he did a few extra things for me and was happy to do it for me. Again he charged me a fair rate for the additional work. When he left the place was neat and clean! If I ever need another electrician, I will be calling George...he is the best!

Nothing but good things to say about George. I tried initially a few weeks back to get him to come out and check out my electrical issue but unfortunately he was booked solid for the next few weeks. Luckily, I tried again just recently and he was able to come check things out within an hour. George was very professional and knowledgeable. He was on time, very honest, and made quick work of our issue. He careful looked at our breaker box, the problem breaker, went through each switch that might have been the source of our electrical failure. In the end, our electrical outage and flickering are gone and we could not be any more appreciative to him. I would hire him again at a moments notice if we had any other electrical issues. Look no further for an electrician! We called George after seeing his Yelp reviews and he did not disappoint! If you need an electrician, look no further. .. seriously. George, the owner, has 47 years of experience! He was at our home today and resolved a problem we were having with several wall outlets. George could not have been better, more punctual, more thorough, neater, more pleasant to deal with. .. and most importantly, more honest and fairly priced. It was very refreshing to have found a capable and honest service person. Other service people should use George as an example. I will absolutely use him again and will tell my friends. I will definitely be using George again to do some interior electrical work and highly recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work done. I had a couple of light switches not working since I bought the house a few years ago, and I called a few electricians asking for a quote. Some of them didn't want to do small jobs, and the others seemed to be ignoring and gave me a couple of weeks to a month before they could come. Since the problems weren't urgent, I decided I would look at it myself when I had the time. Years went by, and of course I didn't do anything to fix those problems. And then, last week I found out two wall outlets in one of the bedrooms were not working. So, again, I made some calls and everyone I called was too busy for small jobs (although it should be a few more small jobs). And then, the next call, George the Electrician picked up the phone, was willing to come, and worked with me on the schedule. On the day, he came in on time, fixed everything that needed to be fixed (you'll see, with his 47 years experience, he figures out the problems really quick, and work on fixing it right away), and explained what was wrong and how he fixed them. Honest (he could've lied and overcharged me, but didn't), experienced (the more experience, the faster the problem is fixed, the cheaper the cost will be), reliable (important), really competitive price (really important), and licensed (most important for electrician). I think I just got me The Electrician for my electricity needs!

I hate to write a bad review for others because I'm also a business owner but this time I cannot hold back. There are too many honest people trying to build a business but George is not one of them and everyone must know. Stay away from this guy! I woke up Monday morning and outlets were out. George came and simply flipped a switch on the breaker and then charged me $80. Wasn't happy but fine I get it, no problem. And then he asked me what else was wrong in the house. I told him that the outlet on my frig wasn't working. He pulled out the frig and I ran upstairs becuz my baby was crying. I came back down and he said it's all fixed and if there are further problems please call him. After he left I noticed the frig water wasn't flowing. I pulled frig out and checked and turns out George turned OFF the water line to the frig. Now why the hell would an electrician mess with the water line?? Enough said. Make your choice wisely folks. There are too many honest electricians but this old man is not one of them. I'm an attorney at law and am considering about pursuing action against this guy. If anyone else has been burned by this guy please PM me.

I would highly recommend that anyone needing an electrician use George, The Electrician. Besides having years of experience, he was very responsive to my inquiry regarding checking out a receptacle for me on short notice (issues with a new microwave) and worked with me to fit me in very quickly. He checked out the receptacle which was fine after the breaker was reset correctly and then was flexible enough to be able to do a couple of other smaller electrical changes that I needed. He is very personable, honest, straightforward and extremely reasonably priced. I'd give him more stars if I could!

George is honest and courteous, and I feel very lucky to have run across his reviews. I have had some bad luck in the past with electricians who just want to run up their bill and don't take pride in their work. George is not like that at all. He was fast, efficient and easy to talk to. My problem turned out to be much less serious than I thought it would be, and George handled the job easily. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who wants an honest man who knows what he is doing. I had to wait four weeks for my appointment, as he seems to be heavily booked with jobs, but I have absolutely no complaints about that and if I need work done in the future, he's going to get my call. Highly recommended!

George is a good guy and a good electrician. He hooked up my new cooktop for me. Then he managed to figure out the problem and properly fix an outside plug that was dead. Worked pretty quickly and had all the parts he needed in his truck.

What a relief that we found George the Electrician! We went through a home renovation about a year ago, with a lot of different workers coming through our house. We were never quite sure if everything was done correctly, or was done by experts. In the past few weeks, there was a burning smell coming from our new dishwasher, and then it stopped working, accompanied by strange electrical happenings. We weren't confident calling back anyone who had done electrical work on our house during the renovation, so we researched electricians in our area. Thank goodness we found George! He is so popular, we had to wait a few weeks, but he managed to squeeze us in a week early before our scheduled appointment. First of all, he is a truly kind man, and listened carefully as I described what had been happening. His careful and methodical approach in fixing the problem gave me such confidence. He explained along the way, showed me what had happened, and patiently answered all my questions. George discovered that the outlet for our dishwasher had been hooked up incorrectly, causing overheating at the wire connection and sparking -- the wires had melted and the inside of our new kitchen cabinet had started burning. Very scary situation! George knew exactly what needed to be done to create a safe and proper connection. Our dishwasher is working again -- right in time for Thanksgiving for 20 people! And most importantly, our kitchen won't catch on fire! We are so thankful we found George -- we will definitely be calling him for any future electrician needs, and we will recommend him to everyone we know! It's so hard to find a true expert in his field, who is also trustworthy, honest, and a good person!

If you are looking for a GREAT, not just a good, electrician, then your search is over. George is the least expensive electrician I found, not to mention extremely honest. He takes pride in doing a professional job, all up to city codes. He's fast and through and will go the extra mile for you. He can troubleshoot and resolve any electrical problem you have. With so many electrical contractors to chose from, I can tell you from my experience that is there no need to look any further. Would I use George again? In a heartbeat! In my opinion he deserves a 5-Star Plus.

George is absolutely outstanding!! Great guy and a great electrician!! More than reasonable and will do the job RIGHT!! Reminds me of the old days when you didn't have to worry about being taken to the cleaners. I will only do business with him when it comes to anything electrical.
