This was my second time having Next Level install recessed lighting in our home. They did a great job in 2015 so I didn't hesitate to contact them again.
The first time they came out for an estimate, I accidentally locked myself out of the place and wasn't able to let the employee in (lol)! He was very gracious and understanding about it and the office rescheduled for another estimate right away.
Steve was the point person and he was responsive by next day and night, which I very much appreciated. On the day of the job, the guys were in and out within 6 hours for a job that includes installing over 20 recessed lights! They gave us great recommendations on which rooms would benefit from dimmers, etc and the quality of their work was top notch. I love how the lights brighten up the entire place. Thank you, Next Level!

I requested a bid to remove old light fixtures and install recessed lights with a LED dimmer, and the team came out next day for an in-person consult. I chose them over 3 other companies, and I'm extremely satisfied with their work and customer service. They're knowledgeable, professional, and competitively priced.

There were some moving pieces in my larger home improvement project (removing asbestos, painting, etc.), and Steve was flexible (and very patient) with my shifting timeline. He also communicates over text and responds very quickly, which saved me a lot of time.

I plan to use them again in the future to add recessed lights to other rooms. Thank you, Steve, Javier, Eder, and Omar!!

Next Level Lighting is the best lighting & electric company with great customer service and extremely competitive pricing. I got quotes from 7 different companies and next level lighting provided me with most competitive flat rate fee to take down 3 pendant lights, install 3 new pendant lights, relocate 1 chandelier and install 1 new chandelier. I was hesitant to not use my go-to electrician, but his rates keep increasing each year. They also helped raise one of my mounted TV's. John was very responsive and Steve helped coordinate the install right away and also helped work through some miscommunication. 3 hardworking guys showed up and they finished everything perfectly in 1.5 hours.

I would highly recommend Next Level Lighting to my family and friends.

Absolutely loved these guys. I've had Raul, Eric and Camron come to my house a few times already for different projects. Both times they were on time, respectful, clean (foot covers on) and knowledgeable. They were clear on the price they quoted me and finished in a timely manner. I also appreciated how they cleaned up after they left and set down plastic to protect the floors and furniture. I have used them a few years ago and the service is still as good as before. Reached out to this company for an inquiry about creating a thing to wire and install a new ceiling fan.

Steven got back to me in a timely manner and was able to schedule me right away!

Victor came on time!

I really liked how he lined the room floor with plastic before starting.

Victor double checked with me on placement of the fan before he started cutting holes in the ceiling.

He also patched and textured the holes that he made while installing the wiring for the fan.

Although the job took a bit longer than I had imagined, I'm really pleased with the job!

I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again in the future!!!!

I've waited months to address my failing (and outdated) fluorescent lights to the point where they weren't working when I try to turn them on. They desperately needed to be replaced. After dragging on the search for as long as I could, I finally started reaching out to a couple vendors. Next Level Lighting & Electric was not only responsive, but they were reasonably priced.

Steve was extremely patient with me while I was figuring out my schedule for his team to come and do the work. I wasn't expecting for his team to be available the following day after giving me a quote. I was impressed!

Once we figured out the day and time for the recessed lighting install with the drywall installation happening the following day, I was even more shocked that his team was able to do the work earlier than scheduled. Not only did my recessed lighting appointment got moved up from the afternoon to the morning, but my drywall installation got pushed up to the same day!

The team was extremely efficient, making sure everything around the area they'd be working in was covered up. It barely took the team an hour to remove my old fluorescent fixtures and install the recessed lighting. They had me confirm the location and color of the new lights before installing which I really appreciated. Drywall was just as quick with both teams cleaning up the area once they were done.

Overall I'm very happy with my new recessed lights thanks to Next Level Lighting & Electric. Awesome and responsive customer service, flexible scheduling, and great lighting work.

They are unbelievably efficient. I notice everything and they don't miss a single detail. Scheduling was so easy. We needed a new chandelier installed and the old one removed. The price was so fair. They do such a clean, professional job. And fast! From the minute they arrive, they are so respectful. We didn't need them to put on booties but they did to protect the floors. They were so considerate and careful with moving the dining room furniture. And when they were done, they brought in a small vacuum to clean up any mess, which there was none. We were blown away by the level of service. We have a list of things going of additional work we want done.

Thanks to Virzil and Andrew today.
We needed to replace a ceiling fan in the shower and creating an outlet next to the toilet for using a bidet. Making an appointment was easy & simple by a call. Virzil and Andrew showed up on time, they explained all plans before they started works. They cleaned the areas after projects were done. They give 5 years labor warranty about their work. I highly recommend this company and their crews!

This was one of the first results that came up when I looked for for this type of work to be done. Seeing the high average rating and the number of reviews, I was looking forward to working with these folks. Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. I set an appointment for an estimate at my parents' house this morning at 9 AM and, at 8:51 AM, I received a text with them asking me if they can push the appointment tomorrow or later. I responded saying I have already taken the day off and was waiting at my parents'' place, and politely asked if they could please send someone else. They said no. I responded saying this is unprofessional and that I was disappointed. They responded with a curt response, saying I should go to somewhere else, and No need to reply. I'm not oversimplifying how any of this convo went, so if the owner/manager chooses to double down on their unprofessionalism and responds to this review with some nonsense, I'm happy to post a screenshot of the text convo here.

I hate writing reviews like this, because I like to support local businesses (see my other reviews; I've got a generous rating bell curve) but maybe these guys are feeling too big to fail here with their high average rating. Nobody gets a pass.

Excellent, job well done from beginning to end. Steve and his team always showed up on time. Communication with Steve and his team was always clear and responsive.

Details
I had a large job for Steve and his team. I was looking to retrofit and install new recessed lighting throughout the house (over 100), a few chandeliers, garage lights, under cabinet lights, and exterior flood lights. I was very detailed about all the products I want installed, and Steve's team was able to accommodate. I appreciate that they use the shoe booties (the shoe cover ups) every time they entered my house.

The Estimate
After a couple of phone calls and texts with Steve, I scheduled a detailed in-person walkthrough to estimate everything I wanted done. I discussed the problems I had, and Steve provided possible solutions. I decided to move forward with Next Level Lighting because of their competitive pricing, quality products, and expertise.

The Actual Job
Steve's crew showed up on time for the 2 day job. They covered up existing furniture, floors, and areas with plastic covering to minimize dust. I was present during the installation in case there were any issues. Thankfully, there were no problems. The crew was very detailed during installation, and was helpful with addressing all of my concerns. No damage was made to any of my existing furniture or finishes.

Drywall Patch, Sand and Texture
What impressed me the most was that Next Level Lighting has a dedicated dry wall team that patches, sands, and texturizes any hole they make during installation. They do not use a cheap texture from a can.

Job Completion, Clean up and Final Walk-through
At the end of each job day, the crew cleaned up their job area. All the rubbish left over gets hauled away by their junk removal team. Before payment, I did a final walk-through of the completed job. There were no unexpected surprises. Steve and his team really exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to working with them again on future projects.

10 Year Warranty
They offer a 10 year warranty on the LED recessed lights they install, which is great compared to the competition.

Buyer Beware, Bate and switch scheme, They advertise d one pice gave me an estimate for that price then scheduled an install almost 2 weeks ahead, less than 24 hours before install they texted and told me they don't have the light at the price advertised / quoted and I would have to pay more for higher priced lights

After I decided not to use Next level, they texted a picture of boxes in the back of a Van with the wrong lights in them and told me they have the lights they were supposed to install at quoted price.

Either their running a scam or really incompetent

Either way I would not recommend Steve and John at Next level lighting to anyone, not even my enemy's

Just as the name states, Next Level is definitely Next Level!!

The crew was very helpful, knowledgeable but most importantly, professional.

Next Level was able to convert over 40 can lighting to LED inside and outside, as well as install a Caseta Lutron switches.

BEWARE - this company lies!!!
Does NOT respect client's time!!!

Steve told us his team would arrive on Friday 3/18/2022 between 1-3pm to do an exhaust fan replacement at our house. No one shows up by 3pm and he said they would come on Saturday AM instead. No one comes on Saturday either. I call Steve on Sat 11:30am to inquire what happened and he has no clue, said John never scheduled anyone for the job.

Steve then says his team will come on Monday 3/21/2022 between 8:30am-9:30am instead. Cruz, Virgil and Eder show up at 9am to complete the project. The 3 guys tell me they don't know why no one showed up on Friday or Saturday because they said scheduling rests entirely on Steve.

I really don't understand how this company can be rated a 5-star company, when they are completely UNRELIABLE, DISRESPECTFUL of client's time and just poor customer service. NO ONE takes ownership over what happened and it's the customer who suffers, and Steve is very bad at scheduling. He needs to retire. I can't trust him to do anything.

I even declined other vendors that could have completed the job 2 days earlier on 3/16 because I had trust NextLevel would complete the work on 3/18 as they promised. TRUST is broken. You trick me once on Friday, twice on Saturday. NEVER AGAIN.

The 1 star rating is not a reflection of the work done by Cruz, Virgil and Eder (which is good), but by the LACK of effectiveness and efficiency of Steve, who makes schedules for people without knowing whether they can deliver or not.

STOP Making excuses for a poor job that you and Steve did. Take Ownership over your lack of customer service and respect for client's time. Next Level Lighting & Electric is an excellent company! It's clear Next Level Lighting & Electric has perfected the lighting and electrical trade, but they also know how to run an effective and efficient business.

From the initial contact to the time employees arrive to do the work and through the completion process, their professionalism was top notch. It's refreshing when you stumble upon a truly awesome company, and Next Level Lighting & Electric epitomizes awesomeness.

On the scheduled work day, a good sized team arrived on time. I was immediately greeted as sir and referred to as such throughout the project; formal but very friendly. Before any work was started, the employees put up plastic sheets to protect the residence interior.

I had several recessed lighting fixtures installed in two rooms (one with a dimmer) and replaced several existing can lights with LED lights. Prior to any holes being drilled, a supervisor met with me to ensure I was satisfied with the placement. The supervisor and employees kept me posted throughout the job. The employees also did a great job filling pilot holes and adding texture where the work was done. Since most of the ceiling was white, I could barely tell where the work had been completed.

At the conclusion of the work, the employees did a great job cleaning up the areas. It was as if no work had even been done. This was an overall example of exemplary team work, which is a positive reflection on the owner. I look forward to having more lights installed and replaced by Next Level Lighting & Electric!

WOW. I am SO impressed by Next Level Lighting & Electric! I sent out inquiries on Yelp a while back to get some quotes for ceiling fan installations - NLL&E came back with the most competitive rates. They were also responsive to messages when I asked for advice on which size fans to get for my rooms. Once we had finally settled on the fans and made our purchase, we were able to message on Monday to set up for Thursday installation with an arrival time of 8-9. Cameron and Brandon showed up nice and early and got straight to work. Both men were polite, respectful, and courteous. They ensured they always wore shoe coverings, covered the rooms in plastic to ensure no damage was done, did a phenomenal job patching up the minimal holes made during installation, and did a thorough job cleaning up- even removing the fan boxes for us so we didn't need to dispose of them ourselves. We were so impressed- it is not often you get such quality worksmanship, efficiency, and good value all rolled into one! We are now huge FANS (pun intended) of this company- happy to have found them for any future needs we may have and to be able to refer a solid company to family and friends who may be in the market for light/fan installations! We built an addition to our home about 7 years ago and over time, the recessed lights that were installed by our contractor have slowly died and needed to be replaced. We've used Next Level Lighting & Electric three times in order to swap out LED recessed lights and also install new recessed lighting in our bedrooms. Every time I've reached out to the company, they're able to fit us in quickly (usually the next day!). Pricing is reasonable and they offer a 10-year warranty. I should have written this review a couple of years ago. My service this last week with Virgil prompted me to write this review and recognize not only this company, but Virgil. I found Virgil to be so polite. He took the time to answer my questions and was communicative throughout the entire process. So glad to have operating lights again and we won't hesitate to call Next Level Lighting & Electric again when we have a need.

*** UPDATE ***
I seemingly had such a good experience that it saddens me to log this update.

When I initially inspected the work, I focused on the lights, ceilings, and walls where the work was performed. It wasn't until weeks later that we found undisclosed furniture damage in two of our guest rooms. These rooms had been newly furnished so we know the damage had not existed prior to the lighting install. Both guestrooms have been unoccupied with doors closed since the lighting work was performed.

Guestroom1
Prominent ding exposing bare wood on the front edge of the standing dresser(see pic). It appears that a tool or something heavy was dropped onto the edge during the installation. I've attached a pic after trying to mitigate the damage with a furniture marker. Still an eyesore.

Guestroom2
Broken(missing) dresser drawer handle and broken drawer frame(see pics). Workers used step ladders so I can only surmise that a worker carelessly stepped onto the drawer breaking both the handle and frame. They placed plastic sheeting OVER the furniture so a broken handle would still be sitting there after they removed the plastic. The fact that the handle is nowhere to be found indicates that a worker removed the broken handle to cover the damage.

We understand that things can happen during a project, but there is NO excuse for purposefully deceiving your customer by not disclosing known damage. That is pure subterfuge that I will call out every time. I clearly misjudged the character of this installation team.

To be fair, I will reserve judgment of ownership's character until I see their corrective action. I will attempt to contact them in the morning.

I hired Next Level after having a no show from another electrician and 2 others who didn't want to take the job. Steve was quick to respond and provided me with a reasonable quote. Cam and his crew arrived on time and installed 2 fans in my home within an hour and half. They were friendly, communicative, professional and I was pleased with the end results. I'm hiring them back for another fan install and hiding some tv wires. Stop searching around for a good electrician, if you're reading this than you already found one..guarantee!

After waiting over a week for our appointment, we were super excited to have our lights installed. As the installers were here setting up their 16 ft ladder- I guess they received a call from their boss and were told to not continue working. We were surprised to learn that we couldn't have recessed lights installed in our ceiling because we were quoted the wrong price. They wanted to double the price- maybe we would have agree'd but my spouse was told that I did not disclose that the ceilings were 16 feet tall when I very clearly did. I also texted several photos of the ceiling which clearly did not look like standard 8 ft tall ceilings. I texted their boss after our phone call and although he apologized, there should have been better organization on their end. Glad they were at least still able to replace the stairwell chandelier and it turned out great.

Found Next Level on Yelp, exchanged Yelp messages and set up a time to install our chandelier. Technicians arrived on time, and worked quickly and were very professional. They were very communicative and asked questions to make sure to double check how we wanted certain details done. They were also very careful to keep everything tidy and clean, making sure to put on shoe covers each time they had to go up our stairs (which are covered in carpet). When installing the high-gloss light globes, they put on gloves., and made sure to leave no fingerprints. Afterwards, they vacuumed the area and made sure it was all clean. Very positive experience with Next Level! Definitely know who to call for electrical/lighting work int he future!

Scheduled an installation of a light fixture with this company. Time and date was 19 March 2022 between 10-1100. A no show, and if I had not reached out to ask the electrician was he coming I would not have known. They did not even have to courtesy or enough respect for me to contact me and let me know that one job was taking longer than expected. Very unprofessional. If there was a section for no star, that would be what I would rate this company. Had no regard to my time whatsoever.

We have hired Next Level Electric & Lighting twice now. The fist time was to run wiring from a wall switch to a j-box in the ceiling of 2 bedrooms, and the second time was to add some recessed can lights in our living room.

For both projects, thy arrived on time, were very friendly and courteous, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves...all for what we thought was a fair price. They're now our go-to company for any electrical work around our house. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again or to recommend them to our friends and family.

If I had to give one piece of criticism, it would have to be the communication via Yelp. Sometimes it can take a day to get a reply, and when you do, it's short...sometimes feeling somewhat curt. Definitely not as chatty as other vendors.

But that's a small concern, and easily overlooked by all their other great qualities.

I recently had recessed lighting installed in my kitchen. The whole process went smoothly from setting up the appointment for an estimate to actually having the work completed. I had placed a call very early in the morning to request an appointment for an estimate. I received a response back very promptly at 6:15 in the morning! How is that for customer service? An appointment was set for that same day with Javier. Javier arrived promptly and was very efficient. I received the estimate and decided I wanted to work with Next Level and set up an installation date for the following week.

The installation crew, Cruz, Eder, Roberto and Andrew, showed on time. Once they learned I had new flooring they immediately put protective booties on over their shoes. The installation was completed in record time. They cleaned up after themselves and I could not have been more pleased.

Next came the drywall crew. Again. Could not be happier. They were very careful to ensure they left my kitchen in a clean condition. I had never installed lighting like this before and was envisioning big holes in my ceiling. I could not have been more wrong. Aside from the beautiful job both crews did, you would never know they were ever there. All I need now is to apply paint.

I highly recommend Next Level Lighting and Electric. Working with Steve and his team was a stress-free experience. Steve, I really like and appreciate the way you do business. I will definitely be contacting you again. I see new ceiling fans in the not-too-distant future.

Late review but this business installed pendant lights and one of those boxes that go behind a TV to hide all the cables for me a few months ago. Super professional and got it done really fast. They're honest and don't try to cheat you.

I was getting a few quotes before I found them and one of them was over 6 times the price of what I paid this business! Beware of electricians that try to take advantage of you. I highly recommend giving this business a call or text and hearing from them first before going to any other business. These people know what they're doing and are honest.

Next Level Lighting installed my new chandelier. They did an awesome job. Communication was great and the price was fair. They arrived on time and finish the job within 90 minutes. I had them move the fixer about 1 foot and they had to patch the old hole and texture it to match. I can't even tell where the repair was done because it come out perfect.

The reviews don't lie!

I was recommended Next Level by my real estate agent who use Next Level personally for his condo.

Steve was really easy to contact via email and pretty timely with his responses. We had Javier come out to do a house walk through. Javier came right at the beginning of the arrival time frame! I always appreciate the little things like that.

Before the day of our install, Steve called to confirm the appointment and details. The morning of the crew again came right at the beginning of the arrival time frame! (Loving it). The guys that worked on the house that day were Cruz, Eder, Oscar, Quang, Kahllid

We had 26 lights installed and 10 existing recessed lights upgraded to match our new lights. they also took down 4 ceiling fans and did all the patch work. The whole project took 5 hours but honestly, it was 4 because we had one weird switch at the end that took a little bit to figure out. They covered all the working areas in plastic and left the place super clean after. I was so shocked on how fast the guys did everything!

HIGHLY recommend using Next Level for your lightning needs. A 10 year warranty too on the lights!

Found this company via Yelp to install recessed lighting and couldn't be happier with their service and end product. There was a hiccup regarding scheduling, as the owner scheduled us on the wrong day, even though I was specific with the day and date we wanted. Luckily, I checked in with them the night before and they were able to rectify the situation.

Steve came for the free in home estimate. He wore a mask and provided suggestions how many lights were needed for our space. He was nice, friendly, and professional.

The day of the installation, Cameron and his crew were punctual. They all wore masks and wore booties inside the house. They covered everything, including the floor with plastic. Cameron was very communicative throughout the entire process regarding placement of the lights and what they were doing. They installed a total of 13 recessed lights and associated wiring that was needed in 3 rooms in 3.5 hours.

They also did small patch up work and removal of old fixtures. They also clean up after themselves when all is done.

Note: they do not paint or take away fluorescent light bulbs.

Had a great experience with this company. They're fast, precise and accurate with what we wanted.

$2,000 spent for all new canned lights throughout our entire house and dimmer switches that we would have never been able to do ourselves. We're lucky to have found them.

Ok, I needed to repair or replace a canned light above our front door. The light had gone out and removing the bulb was a challenge. We then couldn't get the replacement bulb in. Finally, we decided we needed to contact an electrician for help. Next Level was one of 6 which came up on my search in Yelp which all had great reviews. After reaching out to all of them, Next level and one other suggested replacement of the light fixture. Next Level quoted reasonable rates for the fixture and repair. They were available 2 days later. Today they came out and replaced the fixture and we couldn't be happier. I strongly recommend this company to help with your electrical needs.

I have contracted Steve multiple times and for everything he's quick to respond. On top of being quick to respond he's very thorough and honest with his quotes. I've had recess lighting done all throughout my house, removed old light fixtures, and installed two power sources outside. Everything was reasonably priced. Virgil and Andrew were prompt, quick, and efficient. Would definitely continue hiring them or anyone from the company for any and all electrical needs.

I called the company and ask about an estimate for light installation , the guy asked me 55$ for each light !! , fine , I asked him if he can give a discount if I want to install 3 lights, he started yelling and asking me how much I think it should be , I told him it's a simple question about discount if you guys can give offer, he answered with very rude way ( what do you think should be 20$ , 30$ ? ) I didn't even said the price just asked about discount!!

This is a absolutely GREAT! Great service, great company and great job! The chandelier installation team is absolutely the BEST. I called 5 different electrician to come to install my Tom Dixon melting lights system, which is NOT a giant or heavy chandelier, but just need more patience and the tall ladder , however,4 of them quite the project cuz they think it's too difficult 1 left and that's the Next Level!

I am so happy that I found NEXT LEVEL lighting and electric. From my initial email to them, to all the follow up calls and text messages they were always very professional and on time. Virgil and George both arrived at my home on time and immediately put on shoe covers to protect my floors. They were very respectful and they cleaned up after themselves. They installed the total of 10 LED lights and two ceiling fans and everything turned out wonderful. They all get a perfect 10 in my book. I highly recommend them.

John and his team helped me install a wall sconce to an existing light switch. They were really responsive with initial inquiries and were able to make time for the installation the same week. The job took ~3 hours to complete (including 30 min lunch). Great quality of work and even took time to ensure light was at the right height level I had envisioned. They provided tarp to protect the work area, patched any holes that were made in the process, and cleaned the area very thoroughly after the job was done. I would definitely use their service again for any electrical needs in the future!

We had them install recessed lights in three rooms. They refused to pull permits which is always a red flag..

They were fast and the work looks clean from below. They did a super lazy patch job on a bore hole in the ceiling and didn't match the ceiling texture, but when we asked them to fix it they did.

Up in the attic is a different story. They threw my insulation all over the place and didn't bother to replace it afterward. They installed one light without the insulating cover in violation of CA building code, probably because they accidentally installed it directly underneath a board with no clearance for the cover.

The electrical box next to the light has a light switch cover over it. Wrong type of cover, and one of the two screws isn't screwed into anything.

Great work and highly competitive pricing.

After seeing a Next Level Lighting & Electric van parked near my home, I called the number on the van to get a quote. I left a message on the line, and soon received a callback from Steve. I described the work needed (install electrical and wall switches for 3 ceiling fans, and electrical behind 2 bathroom mirrors for lighted vanity mirrors). Steve gave me a quote for the fans and asked me to text a photo of the bathroom location so he could give me an accurate quote. After receiving the quote and being happy with the price, I scheduled the work to be completed.

Although they rescheduled the installation twice, Steve notified me each time the evening before. Two days later, a four man crew (Eder, Cruz, Andrew and Mariano) showed up on time and ready to go. They were very polite, explained exactly what they were going to do, and asked for my approval for the placement of fans and outlets prior to cutting the drywall. They covered the areas they were working in with plastic, and overall did an excellent job of minimizing the mess and dust. Three hours later, the installation was complete, and the area was cleaned up. Although it is not an easy process watching electricians have to cut open drywall in your walls and ceilings to install the electical wires and switches, these guys were as minimally invasive as possible.

I could have had my drywall repaired the same day, but due to my schedule, I chose to have them come back another day to complete the work. Two days later, Jose and Lupe showed up to patch and texture the drywall. They did an incredible job of matching the texture on my walls and ceiling, and I can honestly say I can not tell where the holes were patched. And they did all of this work in less than one hour, and it was all included in my original quote. All I had to do was repaint the areas that were patched.

Overall, I was extremely happy with the work they completed and very satisfied with the price. I would definitely recommend them.

Started out great. They came out and installed 4 recessed lights and a ceiling fan. contacted them again, was going to have them do another job, scheduled, and they no showed. Life happens. messaged them again, they apologized said they had scheduling conflict. They said they would come out that week, Friday or Saturday. I told them Saturday. Again, no show no contact. Unfortunate, as I did think they did a good job, but man, returning customer and you just sweep them under the rug.

Another home that lacked some lighting. I have used Next Level Lighting in a prior home and was very happy with the results. I have also recommended them to my brother and sister who also went with them. They were our first and only choice when it came to recess lighting.

Steve came for an estimate and was very professional. His crew came on the appointment date and spent two days working on my entire two story home. I think they installed about 80 recess lighting with dimmers and two chandeliers for under 4K, which was about the price we were quoted for. They were great with patch work as well. They were very honest and communication was very easy.

I couldn't have been happier with the results. My home is shining bright thanks to them. I highly recommend.

My house has a bunch of 26 w, 4-pin CFL light bulbs and they have always been a pain to replace because they're so hard to take out sometimes. This is the worst light bulb type ever invented. I was finally fed up with them and wanted all of them taken out and switched over to something else. Anything else would have been better. I hired Next Level Lighting to do this job and they convinced me to switch over to LED. I couldn't be happier. LED is much, much brighter and save on energy costs and I'm told these will be good for close to 20 years. They did a great job, switched out all the bulbs in a very timely manner and we're very reasonably priced. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again but hopefully I won't have to for another 20 years!

Everything has been settled with Next Level Lighting. Just like how John encourages good and bad reviews, I too will write not only about the bad but the good as well. First things first, the team that comes out to the home are extremely friendly and accommodating. They listen to your needs and suggest what they think based on their expertise and experience. They work with you in what you have envisioned for your home. They also work clean, fast, and do an excellent job. I have zero complaints about the finished product and am very satisfied with the quality of work.

I would like to finish this review and say it does seem like I am one of the very few that fell through the cracks in terms of quality of communication and service. I tried my best to give an unbiased review (albeit it difficult to do in my frustration) so please read all of it and know that I believe that my experience with Next Level is most likely a fluke as their myriad of 5 star reviews will tell you.

Also Oswaldo from Next Level went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs were met.

This company is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! They wasted a month of my time. I waited two weeks for an appointment and when the time came I had to text them several times asking what time is he coming... he never came because he got stuck on the first job he had that day. All day??? They didn't care what I had to do that day. Then I made another appointment for two weeks later and they never gave me a time for my appointment so I could schedule my day appropriately. I actually have a life and a job. They told me that they will confirm the day before. I asked again days before my appointment and they never texted me back. Then I had to text them the day before my appointment and ask what time are you coming?????? Omg ‍ they then said a time range. Not a definite time just a guess of what their travel time could be. And of course I have work so the late time they wanted to arrive didn't work for my schedule. Terrible communication. They wasted a whole month of my time. I will never book with them and if you do just know they are going to arrive when they feel like it so don't have a life. Just wait around and twirl your fingers.

Great, quick service. I called on a Friday, was able to get a text quote the same day and the service performed the following Thursday. The guys who came out (Virgil and Eric) were polite and friendly. I asked for something else to be done last minute and they had to make an extra trip to get supplies for it but didn't charge extra for this. I also noticed something I wasn't happy with after they left and they immediately agreed to come back and fix it the next day without giving me any hassle. I thought the price was fair. I got 4 recessed lights put in a bedroom which came out to around $400 including some wiring that needed to be done and a dimmer switch. They also installed a new light and switch in my garage for about $200. It took them about 4 hours (including the extra trip to home depot) so considering that it was 2 guys and 8 hours of labor I think this was a good price.

The light bulb in my custom light fixture burned out and the fixture is attached to a 30 ft+ ceiling. I called Next Level Lighting & Electric for replacement of the bulb and was very impressed with both the competitive price for the job and the quality of workmanship of the crew. Three crew members arrived at my home, wearing booties to protect my carpet, and carefully brought up 3 flights of stairs scaffolding and a ladder to perform the job. Great work

I've used Next Level Lighting and Electric twice now and both times I've been very happy with the work.

I've added outdoor outlets, updated indoor outlets, added recessed lighting, and installed ceiling fans and each project has turned out great. Steve is friendly and easy to schedule with and the guys that come out have all been easy to work with. On top of that, their pricing seems pretty competitive.

I'm always planning new electrical projects and I'll definitely be giving them a call again.

Got the job done as advertised and quoted. Had four recessed lights with five possible light mode settings and a dimmer switch installed for a better than average price within one to one and a half hours. Outlet that was connected to switch was then made to be permanently on. Fortunately, the wiring was able to be done without any making holes in the walls. They said that if holes have to be made, they could patch it up but they don't do the paint job. It helped that the room was on the second floor. Will use them for all future recessed lighting projects.

I was referred to these guys by my GC. I reached out to Steve and he provided me their availability. I wanted a ceiling fan installed on a 17' ceiling. They came on the day and at the time we had scheduled. The two guys were professional, and they were very efficient. The price was also reasonable. We had such an amazing experience today!!! We upgraded all of our 90's recessed lighting downstairs,

-See additional attached picture. This is the screenshot provided to me by John from one his employee. They were informed that it was symptoms of COVID-19 , not being the employee's wife being pregnant.

After looking at the Yelp reviews of Next Level Lighting, their work looked promising. I wanted to surprise my wife with recess lighting and decided to make an appointment. From my experience with this company, I learned that John is the owner and Steve is the lead man for daily jobs. Unfortunately, the organization with this company did not AT ALL meet my expectation. I've been RESCHEDULED 3 times!

Appointment 1 - September 5, 2020, 8:00am

· John made a mistake and did not include me in that day's scheduling. He did offer a 10% discount for the inconvenience. I asked John to reschedule me to September 6, 2020, 8:00am.

· Even though John made a mistake, he offered a 10% discount which I thought makes up for the inconvenience. I decided to give Next Level Lighting another shot.

Appointment 2 - September 6, 2020, 8:00am

· John informed me that Steve and the team wanted the next day off. I asked to be rescheduled to September 19, 2020 instead of week day since I work from home and need access to Internet. He agrees and offers a 25% discount. I also asked for a contract regarding the work being performed, estimated price with the 25% discount and agreed upon date of September 19, 2020. No contract was ever received.

· If I'm not mistaken, John is the owner of the company and made the mistake regarding the scheduling. In my opinion, I believe John should have asked Steve and the team to work that day even if they didn't want too. Since a mistake was made, I would think as a company they would try to correct the mistake and ensure full customer satisfaction. The 25% discount is a generous discount which why I decided to give them one more shot but I believe PUNCTUALITY is way more important.

· John informed me that one of the employee's spouse is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Therefore, all jobs have been canceled that day.

· This a legitimate reason on being cancelled. I think as a company they made a responsible decision to ensure the safety of their employees and the customers.

HOWEVER, what I was not satisfied with is how I was not informed ASAP. The information was received at 5:30am. I was only made aware of the COVID-19 case when I reached out at 8:34am only because they did not show up yet for the 8:30am appointment. Next Level Lighting should have immediately informed all their customers that day when the information was received. Rather than being reactive, they should have been more proactive with their communication.

I've attached the correspondence between myself and the owner as evidence of my claims.

In summary, they were respectful but NOT ORGANIZED AT ALL. If you're a customer who values PUNCTUALITY over saving a buck, then I DO NOT RECOMMEND using them.

I have worked with this company on 2 projects in the past. Unfortunately on each project, I was rescheduled 2 or 3 times which is very frustrating. I plan out my days based on their appointment and then the owner changes the date which is very unprofessional. I can understand it happening once but if you reschedule over and over!!!

I can also say from my experience that customer relation means nothing to the owner, I texted the owner why he is rescheduling so much, but at the end I was told to take my business somewhere else.

I just made my condo bright and shiny!
It looks great. I invited Next Level Lighting to estimate a project to improve light condition for my two bedroom condo.
Steve came in time, it took him 5 minutes to look and estimate. He sent me very detailed estimate. The price was reasonable and a job was scheduled for next Friday.
4 boys arrived on Friday in time and made all work so nice, quick and nite. I am very happy with the results.
The also provide 5 years warranty!

Detailed review:

Scope of work:
Garage: EV Charger outlet(240v, 50a), 3 new outlets on separate lines(120v, 15-30a), 1 new outlet wire off existing outlet(120v, 15a).
Living room: new outlet(120v 15a) & HDMI outlet, both placed above fireplace mantel.
Drywall patch for areas opened to wire new cables.

I just purchased a condo and needed additional outlets to plug in my two hybrid plug-in cars, a beer fridge in the garage, and a clean way to power/feed my tv to go over the fireplace. This required a fair amount of drywall cutting to run new cables as well.

I was referred to Next Level by a friend who had some work done by them last year, glad i did! Steve came out and gave me the estimate on a weekend. He was the third electrical contractor that i received quotes from, and by far he seemed the most knowledgeable & experienced. Based on the interaction, he seemed to be the best choice(before i had a dollar figure quote). Later that day he got a his detailed quote and his pricing was better than the other quotes i had gotten. I got lucky that who I thought would be most capable ended up being the most affordable too!

Steve was great at communicating. Always responded to my calls & texts quickly. Always professional and courteous. Regular reminder texts to confirm scheduling.

The day of, he sent over a team of 4+1 guys that showed up on time. Led by Eder, apparently the team lead, Javier, Virgil & Roberto immediately jumped on it. They confirmed with me what i needed and my desired placement of outlets, and made sure the whole team knew exactly what i wanted. As my breaker box is inside the home and because the work generally required dedicated lines, they had to run new cables from new breakers from the interior out to the garage, requiring some drywall cuts.

Project took all day, but the whole team worked hard throughout and were good at what they did. The team lead Eder was also good about looking over the work to make sure everything was finished correctly & nicely. They continued to consult with me to make sure exactly how I wanted everything. Eder's English was a limited, but never a problem as his other guys were always involved to translate when needed.

In my living room, I intend to mount a large tv over the mantel, and did not want ANY visible wires. There was an existing outlet on the wall to the side of the fireplace. So i had them run power from that outlet to create a new outlet above the fireplace and at the same time had them run some HDMI cables along with it. I had them terminate the hdmi cables with some female hdmi port wall plates that i purchased online. It went a little faster for them because i was also remodeling the wall surrounding the fireplace and had that contractor leave the wall open after demo so that Next Level would have easier access. Came out great, and would recommend this type of solution to anyone looking to hide a/v cabling setups.

Towards the end, Lupe, the drywall specialist, came and patched up all the larger holes. The main crew patched the smaller holes. When they were done, outside of paint(which they don't do), you could not tell it was ever cut! Literally seamless patch job, and perfect texture matching to existing surroundings. Showed my painter who came afterwards and he too said they did a good job. Since a majority of the work was in the garage, where i don't mind some visible electrical conduit, i told them to just run conduit outside of the wall for lateral runs, and they fished wires down vertically to the outlet positions. They could have run most of it through the walls, but I personally opted for this as i figured it would go faster and because i did not know beforehand how good they are at drywall patching!

Tested everything including the HDMI cables/ports and everything works great!

I said it above, but will say again... the entire team was hardworking, good at their job and just nice guys. I will definitely call on them again for any future projects and would openly recommend them to my own family.

Contacted them by text, had a response immediately. Came out within 2 days and installed recessed lighting (10 lights in total over 3 rooms). They were done in 2 hours! Excellent experience getting a fan installed in our bedroom! Arturo, Cameron and Julian arrived at 7:45a and were out the door by 9a. They were all fully masked and had their shoes covered so they did not leave any mess on our floors or carpet. We had no connection in our bedroom ceiling so I expected it to take forever, make a mess and be loud, but It was entirely the opposite! The gentlemen were so quick and efficient and they completely covered our bedroom so there wasn't any mess at all. I'm SO glad I went with them and the fan looks perfect!

Very professional, detailed, and affordable! I had some recessed lighting installed and they charged $85/light and I had some other recessed lights swapped out to match which cost $35 each. I also had some drywall patch work done and they're finisher did a great job matching the existing texture. This is exactly what you want a contractor to be like. Steve replied to my messages promptly through Yelp. We exchanged phone numbers, and he was out to see my house within 48 hours. He returned a quote to me for the job 24-hours later that was not the cheapest, but certainly fair pricing. The cheapest quotes I received were time-and-again from non-verified license companies. Next Level was the most affordable LICENSED contractor, and as anyone with home improvement projects knows--without a license can leave you stranded with half done projects and all your cash spent!

Anyway, they installed several new recessed lights, updates several halogen based recessed lights, and fixed my bungled fixture installation of a chandelier. I'll add photos from the phone later today, but the job was clean and quick.

The guys that came were very friendly and helpful as well, and I had paid for a couple extra side things (pulling some coax and installing a new electrical box above my over-the-range micro), and the guy running the project (4 guys came) went over it all with me.

They covered and cleaned up well also.

The patchwork was also textured already on my drywall as well! No paint, obviously, which I'll have to do, but that's standard.

Anyway, not too pushy at all, quick turn over, good work, fair pricing. Use these guys. I will for future work.

Wow. What a wonderful team. Steve, the owner, is so sweet and helpful. He's responsive and attentive. More so than anyone we've worked with since renovating our home. His workers were quick, polite, and clean. We were worried having our chandelier installed as it's relatively large, but they were so careful with every piece of glass. Update: another light instillation with this company. Such a great experience. Everyone was wearing masks and shoe coverings. Oswaldo, Martin, and Luis were a dream. Next Level Lighting was great! They add recessed lighting to basically all the rooms in our house. We also had them move a chandelier the previous owner had from the living room to above the kitchen island. They helped reroute some switches and replaced some of the vent fans in the bathroom and laundry room. Communication was quick and work was great. We even had them come back out and add a couple wall plugs in the master to have usb plug ins. I would highly recommend!

I called Steve at Next Level to get a quote on hanging my chandelier and was impressed at how thorough he was. Sent both a photo of the area and the box. Pricing was extremely fair. Steve sent a technician out and Virgil showed up right on time. What happed that day was unbelievable. The chandelier that I purchased from Timothy Oulton designs was extremely rusted and Virgil spent a significant amount of time trying to unhinge screws that were cemented into the fixture. There were no instructions and he spent over 8 painstaking hours trying to figure out how to put each crystal into place. The end result was beautiful, and he did an amazing job. I felt horrible that he has to spend hours over the intended job and he never complained. He was happy to complete the job. Thank you Virgil and Steve. Called Next Level on a Friday evening and Raul and Julian showed up Saturday morning and installed 2 damaged circuit breakers. One that controlled 6 overhead lights and a second one a 220 breaker that controlled my Tesla charger. They also installed 6 LED lights in my living room (very high ceiling). Raul and Julian were both very professional, very careful to protect my floor and ceiling, and are very skilled electricians. The cost was very fair for the amount of work they had to accomplish.

Next Level is literally the next level for service. I was impressed with their performance from start to finish. When I requested a quote to change out two light fixtures, I was asked to give a little more detail and also send photos of the new fixtures so they'd know in advance what they were dealing with. I quickly received the quote, which was better than what I'd anticipated, and we set up an appointment.

I was given a two hour window for their arrival and three men showed up an hour into that window. These guys were so professional and respectful! Absolutely amazing electricians! They were way more Professional, quality of work and affordable than the electricians I first booked for some of our House projects.

They were extremely polite and wore shoe booties in the house and when they went out to the truck took them off and put back on when they re-entered! They cleaned everything and not only did amazing work with making a 10th of the size of holes in our walls than the previous electrician but also patched it up and textured it!!! I will now always use this company for any of my electrical needs.

Another great LED install by Next Level Lighting & Electric! Izzy, Martin, Roberto, Victor, and Churro were very professional. They made sure to cover all rooms and hallway floors to prepare for install. They installed 11 CFL converts in the kitchen and bathrooms and replaced with LED lights. Nine Nora LED lights were installed in the office and master bedroom and replaced switches with FEIT WiFi dimmer switches I purchased at Costco. However I do not recommend the switches from Costco because they have a constant power light that is ALWAYS on and lights up a room at night.

Will definitely use Next Level Lighting & Electric again! Always prompt, clean, and professional.

I recently moved into a new condo and needed to change out an old chandelier that was over a tall staircase. I put it off for a few months thinking it would be a hassle but these guys made it easy! I got quotes from 3 different places and Next Level Lighting came back not only the most reasonable but the fastest and friendliest. Another company was going to charge me a high ceiling fee that was the same price as the actual installation! No thank you. They also installed a light fixture in a room where there was no previous lighting, and they covered everything in the room so it was left nice and clean. This company is very responsive and works with your schedule. I used them a couple of times and they had been prompt and hard working. I like Cameron, one of the main guys. He's polite and listens to your needs and seems honest.
The pricing is pretty good and they are consistent with their pricings.

I docked a star because they damaged a couple of my walls. They should be a little more careful. So if you guys use them, just make sure they're cautious when moving around in your home.

Steve's crew came in at approximately 2:45. They assessed the situation and then begin moving furniture. While some were moving furniture, the others taped off the room to get started.
They installed 4 lights in my living room 2 lights in my dining room and a fan in the living room. It took them less than 2 hours. When they were finished, they cleaned up put everything back and left. If you came by at 5 o'clock, you would not even have known they were there. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the work they did, from start to finish.

The electrician team that came to put in recessed lights, bidet GFCI outlets and change out our 2 prong outlets to 3 prong GFCI ones were excellent. They are timely, communicate options of placement, clean up, and insure COVID precautions are followed. The pricing is reasonable and payment and invoice process is seamless. The reason for only 4 stars is the owner, John. He forgot our appointment and then rescheduled us 3 days later (no apology). Then he wanted to reschedule us again. He is extremely arrogant and rude on the phone and has poor interpersonal communication skills. Luckily the actual workers are fabulous and worth it.

I didn't get a chance to use these guys to rate their service so I'm rating their shitty attitude instead and giving you all a warning to NOT let them know if you plan to use another company for any tiny part of a big job you might have. Remember also that since they've got over a thousand reviews and plenty of business, they do not need yours and are totally willing to treat you like shit because of it since they know your poor review of them won't mean squat. The job I had them give me an estimate on was in the range of about $1,500. There were a few items they were $15 lower on so I was going to use them for those but then there were also other items that they were higher on by $20 and I hadn't put the time in yet to compare every single item yet but the 2 that really stood out right away were two recessed can lights above my vanity that I just wanted switched out and I showed the guy the exact lights that are easily switched into existing cans. But yet their estimate also included them installing FOUR of their own LED lights that I never once told them I wanted. I showed the guy every single light I wanted and I was supplying them ALL. So here's how that exchange went:

Me: Another electrician is charging only $15 each to install the lights above my vanity that I provide so hopefully your price is close to that.

Them: Hi, sorry I'll have to pass, if you've got a licensed electrician already at $15 each it's lower than I care to go. Thank you for considering us.

Me: LOL you can do the other items can't you? and good gawd yes they're licensed, insured, bonded and have good reviews just like you guys. What attitude. Forget you guys.

Them: I'm just saying you've found someone else considerable less expensive then us (by the way - these aren't my spellings - just typing out what they said) - and I see no point in trying to compete with them.

Me: You guys were way more expensive for those two items only (& like I mentioned in my yelp explanation above, they were also including installing their own lights which I never asked for!!!!) ..... They're more expensive than you for other items. If I have a $1,000 job as an example then what's wrong with me shopping around and having one company do $500 of the work and another do the other $500? These lights above my vanity btw are existing cans and the lights going in are able to attach easily to existing cans.

Them: Nothing at all wrong with shopping around I do it all the time, I'm more expensive and am taking myself out of the running.

Then - after I post this review, they text me this: Lol, someone got her feelings hurt . . . .

Spent thousands with this company. When I had them back for some very minor additions, I was given a quote I thought was exorbitant. When I very respectfully questioned the pricing I was hung up on by manager owner Steve who then directed his crew who was already there, to leave. I'm at a loss here honestly. Poor experience:

1. Just one of two ceiling fans installed successfully. Had to call the crew back same day because one did not work. They said the fan was defective. Why didnt they test it before they left??

2. Crew said they would bring back the empty box so I could return the fan to manufacturer but they never did.

3. Company said they would honor the $195 I paid for TWO fan installations and would come back to install replacement fan once I was ready. They never showed up for the follow-up appointment and did not call.

4. They replied to my follow-up text that they are short staffed due to Covid and would get back to me.

5. Its been two weeks and they are not answering my text asking (respectfully) for advisement.

I've been patient and respectful but have been ghosted. How does a company like this rack up so many 5-star reviews?! I would steer clear of these guys.

These guys are amazing!!! I needed recessed lighting in 4 bedrooms. They gave me the options of lightening intensity and I am also able to increase or decrease my 3500 lumens in either direction. Churro (Victor), Daniel, Gabriel, Quang were top shelf installers. Theses guys came in placed plastic and covering on each room they were working in. Placed screws in the ceiling and asked me if these locations looked good prior to drilling the holes in the ceiling. After installing they picked up the plastic wrap on the floor which contained all the attic insulation, dust and trash and took it with them. Gabriel went even further and vacuumed up all the tiny bits of remaining specs of trash. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for all your electrical installations. I will be calling them back to install outdoor electrical patio heaters very soon. Thank you again!!

Steve and his team was extremely efficient at doing their job. Their communication was fast, and it was a quick job (or much quicker than I expected) when they arrived.

They also provided their license and warranty information right off the bat.

Their price is very competitive, and they are great at their jobs. There wasn't a million holes in my house, they patched everything after they go, and they did a beautiful job.

The day after they left, one of my outlet went out. Steve came back as soon as he could and figured out what's wrong.

Scheduling an appointment was simple over Yelp. Steve sent Jonathon and 2 other workers to assemble and install 2 chandeliers for me. I was given a one hour arrival period and they showed up promptly and were very efficient. They used blankets to protect my floors from their equipment, which included a tall ladder for a 20-ft. ceiling. We have been using Next Level Lighting and Electric for the past 6 years for all of our electrical needs and have never been disappointed. Communication via text is always responsive and prices have been very reasonable. This morning we had them install 120v GFCI outlets next to our toilets in two of our bathrooms so that we could use Toto Washlet Bidets. Virgil came to our home at the scheduled appointment time. He asked us where exactly we wanted the outlets and also explained to us the power sources he would use to power the outlets as well as the holes in the walls he had to create to gain access. The holes were patched up and textured very professionally. The work was done very cleanly and efficiently. He also cleaned up both bathrooms after the work was done. Virgil did an overall great job and even reminded us that all work would be under warranty for 5 years and to contact them if anything went wrong or if we had any questions. So far everything works great. We would not hesitate to recommend Next Level Lighting and Electric.

Steve and his crews are super!!! I've used them for multiple projects and its pricing are very fair. They have different crews coming at different times and all of them are doing wonderful jobs a fast and clean. The last crew did an extra work for replacing my old bathroom exhaust fan with a powerful new fan with extra sizing and they have to get into my attic to install it. I told the lead to charge me more but they didn't and stick with original quote. I'm very thankful for the extra miles they go.

Amazing! These guys are top notch and I will never go to anyone else again. I had made the mistake of hiring someone else to install a chandelier - the other company left the wires showing outside of the chandelier mount (and left without telling me). I would have tried to get the other guys to come back but one of their workers had put a deep scratch in my front door and a gash in my door frame and tried to hide the accident. I went on Yelp and found Next Level to come out and fix the unprofessional work the other company did. The Next Level techs we nice, arrived on time and were extraordinarily professional! Nightmare experience with light fixture installation. They were cheap, but now I know why, because their terrible service reflects the price. You literally get what you pay for in this provider. Hired them to install a few light fixtures, but the equipment broke, and they finger it on us, saying the equipments were broken to begin with. But they continue to charge us anyways.

Worst part is the manager Steve, is highly unprofessional. He was rude, deceptive, and backtracked on his word. In the middle of a call, he would hang up on you because he couldn't defend himself. There is no way this type of attitude can win any business. The onsite crew was actually professional, much more so than their manager. But unfortunately we had to deal with the manager and he collects the bill. Will never use again!

With the summer being so hot recently, my husband and I were looking for a company that was able to install ceiling fans. We contacted Next Level Lighting via Yelp and Steve responded almost instantly with a quote that beat the price of other companies. With the quick response time and high reviews, we decided to go for it. When we asked for availability, we got very lucky and they were actually able to come out on the same day! About 6 hours later, Ozzy and his team showed up. They were very professional and respectful. They wore booties inside the house and essentially left no trace they were even here! I appreciated how thorough they cleaned up after installing two ceiling fans for us. In addition, I was amazed at how quickly they were able to not only assemble but also install our ceiling fans!

We have called Next Level Lighting & Electric for two jobs. They first came out and added recessed lighting to our bonus and master bedrooms. They also swapped all of our existing canned lights for LED's. Today, we had them out to add 4 recessed lights and install a new ceiling fan in our living room. The lights are all perfectly in line and symmetrically placed so that it looks good and floods the room with plenty of light. They also removed and replaced a hanging light fixture with another recessed can. The Caseta switches are easy to use and were placed in ready to reach locations. They can be removed to be used as remotes, but I selected to have them mounted on the walls.

Raul, Martin, & Luis arrived on time and finished the job way faster than the 4 hour estimate they gave me (more than an hour to spare!). They wore booties to protect and prevent floor damage, used heavy blankets to protect furniture, and sealed off the room with plastic to prevent dust and insulation from entering the air space where we were. They even used a blanket on the outside stairs which I appreciated so that they didn't track dirt inside my home.

Their work is very professional. And their experience is clearly evident in their efficiency. Raul communicated with me in clear terms, though I had to ask some questions to clarify the electrical jargon. He was respectful and knowledgeable.

The only issue I had was that they didn't send a team to the original appointment time on a weekday which I took a day off for. They did try to rectify the situation by offering a Sunday appointment, but they couldn't find enough workers interested. In all honesty, I'm glad the Sunday fell through because I didn't want my job to be rushed and turn out bad. However, the next available appointment was more than a week out. I'm glad I got Raul's team, but I thought I should've been given a token discount for their schedule snafu.

This is a reputable company with high quality craftsmanship. I am certainly going to bookmark them and will contact them first for all electrical projects in the future.

I used this company when I moved into our place the week the state went into lockdown because of the pandemic. They were in and out in one day, cleaned and painted the areas they worked in. They did 10 recessed lights, 3 ceiling fans, installed bathroom lights and vents for about 1/3 less than other companies quoted. I liked them so much, I asked them to come back to add 5 extra outlets to our house. They were done in 2 hours. My neighbors will be using them and I recommend them to anyone who is looking for electrical work.

Next level lighting team installed 39 LED lights throughout our whole house this Monday. We can't be happier. The whole experience starting from Steve's visit to provide the estimate to finishing installation and cleaning up is flawless and exceeded our expectations.
Steve only took 5-10 minutes to gather the information, and provided the detailed estimate by the end of the same day. When the team (6 electricians) came on the installation day, they made sure that we were on the same page for each light before they started their work. I reached out to Next Level for a quote last Sunday on replacing some old recessed lights and installing six new ones in our living room. John got back to me within 10 min with a quote, that was exactly what we payed at the end. First positive, these guys stick to their word on pricing and won't try to nickel and dime you.

The team was flexible to have a schedule around me and my wife's work from hone requirements, second positive.

Third positive, the crew showed up on time, was professional as can be and did an amazing job. They installed one light and asked which intensity we wanted (out of five). Then before wrapping each of the replacement sections and the living room they gave us the option to chose again and make sure we were happy with the choice. These guys are truly world class and you will not go wrong by hiring them.

My wife was so happy with their work she took a picture of their van, which has an awesome wrap job, and sent it to all her friends and colleagues before they event left!

Excellent work performed by the crew in my downstair study ceiling fan/light installation. They covered the room to eliminate dust, strategically cut holes to route wires to the wall switch, secured the fan/light at the right location, tested the fan, then patched and retextured the holes. I have used Next Level Lighting multiple times over the last three years and recommended them to all my friends. Unfortunately, the company is not ran the way it used to be. They can't seem to show up for any appointments they make or call to tell you they are not coming. There is such a lack of consideration for anyone's schedule other than theirs. This is such a bummer because they used to be a great company to work with and now I am not even sure if Steve is actually making the decisions any longer. Answered their phone right away and gave me a quick quote. They ended up being the lowest quote after I waited several hours for the rest of quotes from other vendors to come in. Cameron came out the next day to install our Ring doorstep and installed 3 new outside lighting for us. He was very professional and kind. He cleaned up after everything. I contacted Next Level Lighting to install 4 ceiling fans into bedrooms that was wired by the home builder. John's crew was early and very accommodating and knocked out the installation in about an hour and a half. The pricing was very reasonable. I had Next Level install 33 recessed lights and four new task lights in the kitchen today. The crew of 5 guys showed up right on time. They were all very polite and friendly.

Within minutes the floors and furniture were covered in plastic and the supervisor had walked the job with us. The work was divided up based on level of difficulty with the hardest parts going to the most experienced tech.

As each new circuit was laid out, they asked if we approved before installation began. Work proceeded with a military like precision until everything was finished and the premises was clean.

These guys are lighting experts. So is Steve the general manager. He always responded to our questions within minutes and closely monitored our job's progress from estimate through installation -- Thanks Steve.

These guys are amazing! We needed a junction box for a ceiling fan and they were able to install it for around $175 (someone else had quoted us over $400!).
It was easy to get ahold of them and make an appointment and they arrived as promised. They covered everything in the room with plastic to protect it while they worked and cleaned it all up before they left. We had them come out again to install a fan in the bathroom and they were just as efficient as the first time.

I was extremely happy with the price, speed, and quality of work. Javier and his crew of three installed 9 lights and two switches. They also ran all the wiring the least invasive way possible, minimizing the amount of drywall work. After they were done, the patches everything up and retextured the drywall. They were really quick to respond, provided a quote over Yelp which was great. Made an appointment and they showed up on time. They installed 14 recessed lights with dimmers/switches and one light fixture. Definitely reasonable in pricing compared to all the other companies, however I will mention a few things that happened with my experience with them.
1. They came on a Monday at 9AM and installed my light fixture which was supposed to have 3 different heights to the light bulbs. One of the bulbs was extremely awkwardly low placing so it made the fixture look odd. Since I was not home to see the finished product, I called the owner to explain what happened and he offered to come back on a different day to adjust it no cost.
2. On that same day, they installed 3K colored lights in my living room since they did not have 4K lights available that day (I decided on gimbal lights that day), so they stated they would come back later this week to swap them out and also adjust the light fixture. We agreed over the phone that they would come Thursday at 10AM.
3. They installed 4 dimmer switches when I specifically only asked for 3, and even instructed the worker on that day where I wanted the 3 dimmers. I talked to the owner John and he happily stated he would not charge me for the 4th dimmer.
4. On that Tuesday, I got a text asking if I was available Wednesday between 2-4 instead. I said I wasn't. Then the owner states ok, they would see me Thursday between 2-4. Then it became a back and forth conversation about fitting into their schedule, so I ultimately agreed on Wednesday 2-4pm. I made sure to ask that they were coming to swap out the 3K lights and adjust the fixture - owner forgot we talked about fixture and asked what fixture? I sent him pictures, and he said Ok, they will adjust it. I had to come home early from work and waited for them, in which they did not show up until 5:12pm (which I really didn't have to leave early from work if I had known). I was also told by text at 4pm that they accidentally used the 4K lights on the job before me, so they were out of stock until some time next week so they were only going to come adjust the fixture. Then about 20 minutes into them being there, one of the workers miraculously arrives with the 4K lights and then installs them. I definitely would have been 100% satisfied if they didn't have so many hiccups along the way. However, I appreciated the owner reaching out to make sure everything was ok, but I just didn't like how unpredictable the service was. He also followed up with me the day after to make sure nothing went wrong too. All the workers came masked and wore shoe covers, and were in and out swiftly. Another guy came in after the lighting guys did about an hour later to patch up the holes. Now all that's left is to paint over the patching since they do not offer this service.

This company is the way to go for recessed lighting! I was referred by a friend who found them on Yelp and everything he described was spot on!!!

I contacted the company and Steve answered the phone right away & asked me to text my address to confirm the date he was coming for an estimate. He scheduled a consultation/estimate for the following day and was on time & gave me a 30 minute warning before arriving. This was awesome because I was able to put my dogs away and open our front gate for him. Upon arrival, Steve introduced himself, put on some shoe covers (super considerate of him), and started doing a walk through of the house to see how many lights I needed and what kind. He was very honest about how many lights I needed and what would look good in each room. The estimate was roughly 15 minutes or less and within 1 hour (or less) Steve was able to give me a quote and date on when the company could come put up the lights, which was a week after the estimate. Fast!!!

On the day of the job, Steve and his team could not make it and he was very sorry and professional about it. He sent me a text in the morning about rescheduling for the following day, which ended up working out better for my family! He also offered a 10% discount for rescheduling, which he didn't have to but it was a very nice gesture!

When Steve and his team came the following day to install the recessed lighting, they were on time and gave me a 30 minute warning again! Steve and his team are truly amazing! They covered everything in the rooms being worked on SO FAST and put up model lights so I could see what the recessed lighting would look like before installing, which was great!! It was nice to see what the rooms would look like before drilling holes in the ceiling. They all did such an amazing job installing and cleaning up after the job, I was very impressed! I was hiding in my room and kept peeking to see what the lights looked like, it was really exciting.

If you're thinking about recessed lighting, don't hesitate to call this company! They are so quick, clean, and affordable! My house needs a lot of work done and the recessed lighting makes my walls, floors, and furniture look so bold and beautiful!! I am now motivated to save money to redo my ceiling, paint, add crown molding, etc etc!!!

Some extra things you might want to know!
- Our backyard light kept staying on and Steve offered to come back the following day to take a look at what went wrong, small electrical issue probably? Really not a big deal but it was nice of him to offer to come back and take a look.
- The entrance to our ceiling/attic was really broken and looked super funny, Steve and his team fixed it for us at no charge! See my pictures for reference!
- A few days after the job, my mom decided to add another dimming light in the hallway and Steve offered to replace it FOR FREE!!!!
- Steve game me referrals for popcorn ceiling removal, molding, and drywall information!!! I trust his judgment and will be using his references :)
- He text messages!!! Really convenient for me!!

I will add more pictures once I redo my ceiling, so anyone who has an old outdated house can get inspired to make small changes to their home :)

We used this company to replace 3 bathroom exhaust fans and it went great. These guys were very responsive and had a competitive rate. They supplied the fans, they carry the Panasonic Wisper fans. I was told they can also do simple ducting if required. The crew was friendly and courteous, they also put up plastic so things didnt get dusty. My install did require them to do a simple ducting job in one bathroom and it seemed like it went smoothly. My current home had the older two prong style outlet in the ceiling for the original exhaust fans which they were able to update to use the new fan. My only complaint would be that they forgot to take out the trash bag with the old ceiling fans and vent pipe but thats not really a problem. The work was great, install looks clean and fans work as they should!

I sent out for a couple quotes to have recessed lights installed in our master bedroom and closet. Steve was responsive and patient with all the questions I had. Their quote was unbeatable. I provided my own lights and switches (husband is particular about what he wawhich they were totally fine with. We are at the end of a major remodel and my own contractor was trying to charge almost 4x what Next Level quoted me! A crew of 4 guys showed up lead by Cameron and they were EXTREMELY professional (more professional in multiple ways than my own contractors). They were super friendly, cleanly, organized, and the attention to detail was definitely there. I've already referred them to a friend and will definitely use again in the future. Love when I find great vendors and service because of Yelp!

Given the covid-19 crisis causing sheeple to hoard basic household items such as toilet paper, my family and I decided to install bidets in the whole house to minimize reliance on toilet paper. However, our bathrooms lacked the power outlets behind the toilet to properly install the bidets. I quickly sent out multiple quote requests via yelp and Next Level Lighting & Electric was able to provide the best price and service. Steven and his team did a great job at explaining the process of how they'll install the outlets and ran everything with me before beginning. They also did a very good job at minimizing the mess of drilling and cutting into the dry wall. They're communication is exceptional as I was promptly updated with any change of plans. I never felt ignored by Steven and his team. Overall, I'd highly recommend them for any power outlet installs you may require!

Working with Steve to quote and schedule the install of a chandelier was easy and very convenient. I marked up some photos of the room and sent information about the light and Steve texted me with questions and a quote right away. Pricing was very reasonable. When the two electricians, Ozzy and Martin showed up a few days later, everything was quick and professional. They contained the mess with a bunch of plastic, which was really considerate. My review is long overdue.

Three months ago Steve coordinated with me and sent his team in. I asked them to uninstall old chandelier and bedroom ceiling fan from 12 foot ceilings. Both were replaced with new ones along w/ 2 dimmers I had purchased. The guys were professional, careful, neat, fast, patient and great in communicating with us as the work was being done.

I've used Next Level three times now to install lighting, a ceiling fan, and recessed plugs for tv's on walls. Each time a different crew completed the work for me and they've all been outstanding. They carefully cover up the work area and pay close attention to details. I was listening to their math calcifications while they installed 5 lights in my living room and was super impressed. This company is incredible. They truly know what they are doing and can take on almost any job that comes their way. We had a chandelier that needed to be replaced. We purchased a new one, but could never find anyone that would take on the job in the middle of the stairway on a 20 foot ceiling. Then I found Next Level! Sent some photos, gave me a decent quote over the phone and was able to schedule a day and time that was convenient for us. The crew showed up on time and ready to get the job done.

Then we ran into a slight problem, the old chandelier was mounted over a medallion on the ceiling. This is where next level sets itself apart from others. Rather than removing the medallion, which would have damaged the finish on the ceiling, they took the extra steps to send one of their crew into the attic, to complete the wiring connections, as to not have to remove the medallion to get to the junction box. When they finished, they were able to line everything up like the medallion and the new chandelier canopy fit together perfectly.

Just about anyone can hang a light fixture, but if you want it done right, by a team that cares, call Next Level Lighting and Electric! No need to keep scrolling and looking further, you found the right company for your job, give them a call!

This company has been very pleasant to work with. Their prices were reasonable and was actually less than a few companies we received quotes from... yet their work was nicely done.

Steve was able to come within an hour of calling to request a quote because he happened to be doing quotes in the neighborhood. Within 2-3 days later, his team came to install 4 recessed lights and change out all our hardwired smoke detectors.

Javier and 2 other team members worked so efficiently and were so professional. They all wore masks the entire time in our home and plastic over their shoes anytime they were inside. The room was covered in plastic to keep the dust off. They arrived early and were finished and cleaned after 2 hours.

They do accept all forms of Pay. We venmoed Steve with the QR code that was provided by his staff, and they left as soon as they came without leaving a mess. We are very happy with this company and plan to do any and all lighting/electrical work with them in the future.

There were multiple hiccups during the job but I have never experienced such great customer service in my life.

The job consisted of recessed lighting and the quote we received was very reasonable!

They set up the appointment and they did the work. A few hiccups here and there but they came back multiple times to fix the problem.

Dimmers were later added because the foreman did not explain my smart bulbs would not work on them.

I have never experienced such a great customer service. No ifs buts or maybes, Steve is just straight to the point on getting the job done to your satisfaction! We will take care of it always made me feel weary but damn, He DID take care of things!

Can't say enough great things about this crew (Javier, Ozzy and Gareres). Very respectful, walked me through their game plan, and cleaned up everything. They hung 5 ceiling fans with remotes, 3 of which had no junction boxes (1 downstairs and 2 upstairs), so they ran electrical without out tearing into dry wall to much, I mean very minimal. That's tough to do when you have no ceiling fan junction boxes. But the great thing is they have dry wall/texture person so no one will know there was minimal holes to get fixed. They also hung 3 pendant lights over our kitchen Island which look great! If you want attention to detail, good electrical work you can trust and solid workers that know their trade, do yourself a favor and go with them. I'm a retired Marine and I know attention to detail. Next Level has been great! Very responsive through Yelp and Steve came out to give me a very competitive quote. I needed 5 recessed lights replaced, 1 outdoor outlet replaced and 2 new fans installed - one in our high ceiling living room. Oswaldo and the team did a great job of covering all surfaces before they worked, wore masks and installed everything nicely. They were friendly and efficient. So happy to get rid of our 1984 square light fixtures and the new modern and energy efficient options in place. And VERY happy to have the fans in before the summer heat is upon us. Electric Car Charger installation. Steve was great to work with to get everything coordinated and scheduled. Was impressed that we were able to get scheduled the next day. Raul and Julian were our installers and they were great. They arrived in the stated window of time. Worked super clean. Wore shoe covers when they needed to go in the house (we are no shoes in the house). They also put a floor cover down in the garage to collect any debris. I originally had my own thoughts about the placement of the charger, but after they came onsite, they gave a better recommendation to minimize any damage on the walls and make the conduit more visually pleasing. When they finished, they cleaned up the floor and walls, and even scrubbed away some wall areas that they didn't work on! Thanks again for getting this done so quickly and will definitely be reaching out to Steve and his team again for future work. Happy New Year!

We had some old lights and and outside plug that didn't work in our new home. My husband called and spoke with Steve and then set up an appointment time.

To start they are very responsive and are prompt. We have been working with contractors to do some things around the home and I will say that Steve is great at communicating compared to what we have encountered.

They were able to accommodate coming in on the weekend. Oswaldo and Jose were the ones doing the work. They are very thorough, nice and willing to get to the root of any problem. They did not take any short cuts and were willing to explain what they were doing. My outside porch lights needed to be converted over and the outside plug needed to be fixed. Turned out the outside plug took an extreme amount of work from their end, but they were willing and did it.

We will be calling them again for my electrical issues as they were very knowledgeable, respectful of my home, took care to be thorough, cleaned up after themselves, and got the job done without cutting corners.

450+ Reviews. Almost all 5 stars. Why should this review be any different? It's not, because companies who pride themselves on quality and service are consistent, so their reviews should reflect that.

Had correspondence with Steve directly on YELP messaging, as I casually searched for quotes from other vendors. Turns out Steve had the best prices out of 10+ places I asked. After I had decided to go with Next Level, we exchanged information, and scheduled a date for install.

Come date for install, he arrives, assess, and get's his men on the job. Within 2 hours, I have 4 new 6 LED recessed lighting cans in my kitchen, with a dimming switch. All for an amazing price.

I can't take pictures now, as I didn't have Steve and his dry-wall contacts/people finish my drywall, so I have to do the patchwork myself. I will post pictures when completed. It would be unfair to show the incomplete job, as it does not do justice to the work Next Level had done. (so pics coming soon!)

They just left my house, and I felt compelled to write this review because of complete ease and satisfaction (helps that I was on my computer already, and needed a break). I will definitely do business with them again, and have already talked to Steve about a quote on doing the living room, at which he advised to get rid of the popcorn ceilings first. (Will do!)

The owner was very responsive. His crew was on-time, thorough, worked quickly and safely. I appreciated that they put down tarp in the work areas to collect dust and such, and also vacuumed when they were done. Pricing is extremely competitive.
