I had an odd wiring problem that was introduced by past/original electricians.  After attempting to address the problem myself (& I have some good basic skills), I realized that to do it a) safely, and b) correctly, it was time to engage the professionals.  Turn It On Electric responded quickly, arrived this morning, 2 guys, Bob and Alex.  Both were great!  Bob is a seasoned veteran, and with Alex's support, they were able to discover the odd, and complex problem.  Within an hour they resolved the issue.  Safely done! Hats off to these guys, and I would definitely use them again for the more difficult to solve problems!

Unfortunately the job we requested to be done was not finished. Technician was at house over 8 hours to separate the bathroom light and fan to separate light switches. Even after all that time left the bathroom less functional than before they came out. Vanity light did not work. Tried to explain why we needed to have the entire house rewired. Sent estimates for rewiring entire house and install new and improved smoke detectors that we did not request or want. In an effort to convince my wife that we have major electrical wiring issues, they made her feel unsafe and anxious in the home. Reached out to turn it on to inform them we were not satisfied and did not want same technician. They still had him reach out to schedule a time to finish with another estimate. All the while we were not going to have the main light working in the most used bathroom in the house which was working prior to being worked on. If you cannot performed the work requested please to do not waste over an unexpected 10 hours at our home resulting in us cancelling appointments and activities all to leave bathroom light not functional. In those 10 hours there was plenty of time to inform us that the job could not be completed the way tech would like based on his opinion. The tech did accurately detect a gas leak in the attic we are very grateful for that which is solely the reason I'm giving 2 stars. Paid $959 for small gas leak detection. Had the work completed with someone else who clearly explained what was done previously and through visually showing the wires/splices informing us why the unasked for estimates and recommendations were unwarranted given the nature of what was needed. And yes, you can find another licensed, bonded, and insured electrician that will not try to sell you on services that are not needed by using terms such as unsafe and using electric house fire stories. Their yelp rating is solid but  I recommend getting 2 or 3 opinions before making a decision with this company.  **Response from manager does not address main concern and inexcusable time frame spent just to leave area worse off than before. Tech started work at 10am (this is after gas issue was addressed) and didn't leave til after 7pm and left unfinished. I was present at home for the first 2 hours. Tech maintained job could be done throughout the day. See photos of communication below.**

I needed light fixtures installed and some wiring checked on exterior lighting and a bathroom light. Jose came out and gave me an estimate. Price was comparable to other companies. He got to work right away and finished quickly. I do recommend.

I came across Turn It On Electric from a simple Google search, needing a residential electrician to install a 50 AMP outlet to charge an electric vehicle in my garage.

After i requested more information, I was contacted the next day to set up an appointment to estimate the cost of my requests. Upon arrival for my appointment, the employee worked well with giving me multiple quotes, giving me different pricing options fitting my budget and needs. After picking my desired location and estimate for the install, I emphasized I wanted minimal drywall cutting. I was reassured only one cut would be needed for the job.

The following week, it was time for install and the technician cut in the wrong spot for the outlet, I assume tapping the wall is not the best way to find stud placement. There was also trouble routing the wire, leading to multiple drywall cuts to figure out the issue. Overall, there were 5 total drywall cuts to include the ceiling.

On top of everything, the technician had to wait for his coworker to arrive due to not having the outlet on hand.

I would not recommend due to my experiences.

Honestly would give them 10 stars if I could! Alex and Bob were true professionals when it came to installing a new outlet for our range hood. It was definitely a wan off type of job and they handled it like pros. This was a top notch experience and I will be using turn it on electric for all future electrical projects! They were awesome!

TIO did a great job of communicating and scheduling. Conrad was very thorough with the estimate and discussed several options with me. He arrived when scheduled and completed the work very professionally. Our EV charger looks and works great! I highly recommend Conrad and Turn It On for your electrical needs.

In a follow up to my previous reviews of TIO, I forgot to mention that not only will they not come out to fix a problem for three days, they treated me in their Yelp response (by Ashten) as if I were making up the problem or crazy. I suspect this is either because they didn't want to deal with the issue, or it's because I'm a woman. Add to that that Ashten lied about calling me. If he did he didn't leave a message. So if you are a woman and need an electrician right away who will respond the day you call, I recommend Penguin Air. They were very professional and came out the day I called to remove the malfunctioning smoke alarms TIO installed and which were constantly chirping.

Over the weekend, I sent out a request for a quote on a very simple job - installing an outlet. Every company had some person respond within a couple days (which is totally fine - I don't expect companies to work weekends), either providing a quote or asking for some additional information.

Turn It On Electric sent me an auto-response indicating they were closed, offering numbers for emergencies, etc... So far so good.

Then Monday came and went, no response.

Then Tuesday came and finally I got one of those template responses from a generic Customer C. account, which basically pushed me to give them all of my information including best times and days for an appointment, and absolutely no info that had anything to do with pricing of installing an outlet. If we're already communicating via Yelp messaging, you don't need 3 more ways to contact me in order to send me a quote. Nobody else did.

I responded saying I was just gathering quotes at the time.... and no response from them until the next day when I get another non-human template response having the gall to start with:

Hello! We have reached out several times in response to your electrical needs.

Um, no. You have not reached out several times and you never bothered to respond to me like a human being, and it is clear that still nobody human has actually bothered to read the messages because you still haven't actually given me a quote, and given that I'm only going to end up choosing one company, I don't want my personal contact information in the databases of companies that I haven't chosen.

Now, I was just going to let this go, but then this morning they send yet another automated response, so now they're actually wasting my time, because it doesn't matter anymore. First impressions count and they showed  me exactly how I would be treated if I would become a customer.

Human responses either to this review or on the Yelp messaging are only going to show what they'll do when someone finally complains.

Normally when you call on a residential electrician you expect one guy with a truck. I had 3 TIO technicians (Supervisor, a technician and a trainee) the three gentlemen were polite and professional. We had to reach out to another vendor installing a misting system at my residence. They were willing to wait and allowed us to hop on a three-way conference call to get the correct voltage information. In a matter of a few hours, I've had two new outlets installed.

This was our 4th time using TIO electric! After having them update the lighting system for house and front porch and installing an app that allows us to control both the lights and the ceiling fans, we asked them to come back to provide an estimate for outdoor flood lights. In short, we keep coming back to TIO because they're thorough, on time, and communicative. We're almost done with the updates on the house but will always recommend TIO!

The tech showed up on time and did a good job communicating arrival.  I needed an outlet installed in my Garage booked about 3 days out.  

So the Bad!!!
The price was extremely high he spent about 30 minutes measuring to give me a quote that was almost 3 times the other electrician's quotes. That wasn't the biggest problem the biggest problem was that he recommended Services that I did not need either he did not know what he was talking about or was trying to convince me to purchasing something not needed.

Be very careful to not get your information from the sales men could cost you thousands.

I just put in for an estimate request on my problem, and I received a call to schedule for next week. After I made the appointment, I realized that I forgot to ask about any fees so I called back. I got a different person and after explaining the situation that I explained in my initial contact request, I was then told it would be $185/hr per tech, and then $125/hr per tech after the first hour. I was then asked if I wanted to keep my appointment and I said a bit hesitantly that I will keep the appointment for now. This is where the lady told me that in order to keep my appointment, I would have to pay $185 upfront to cover the first hour. Why was this not mentioned first? I don't understand why I should pay upfront for a service that I haven't even used yet, just to make an appointment.

TIO has replaced our circuit panel and upgraded our home wiring, repaired our brother's condo wiring, and today repaired a fire-hazard wiring fault in our rental unit.  Every technician and student has been polite, WELL-TRAINED, and thorough in explanation of charges and services.  We will not hire anyone else in the Phoenix area.

Sent out a bid for estimate, got an instant response from an employee called Sarah and they gave me the phone number to call. I called the dude knew nothing about yelp, Nothing what I'm talking about even though it took me 20 minutes to provide all the information in excruciating detail along with pictures, and they're booked solid for the next week and had no decency to even look at the detailed bid I sent out. All they care about is what fits their needs. There are 1 million electricians out there who are willing to work for their money, get a clue!  Doesn't take long before businesses like this go out of business, good luck!

I've used them in the past, and been very satisfied with their work. But this was an especially good experience.

Liam came out and gave me a very thorough explanation of what was going on. He was personable and explained things clearly without condescendion.

He also listed the 3 projects in terms of priority to help stagger cost a bit if I needed it; and it's always reassuring when that happens because you know the company isn't just trying to pump as much money from you as possible.  

Also worth noting that their first hour's rate for troubleshooting was $40 less than the other company I called.

I have called on this electric company for several years and have never been disappointed.
Today was no exception!

I had finally had enough with my cheap vanity light in my bathroom. It looked ok but it was not bright enough. I went out and bought a really nice light that took regular light bulbs and up too 100 Watts! With my dimmer switch already installed .. I was ready to go bright and dial down if needed.

I was thrilled when Bob and Bryan showed up right on time (called on the way too) and got right to work. They had their work cut out as they had center the new fixture over the mirror and anchor it as it was heavy.

They worked very efficiently and did a beautiful job. They even cleaned everything up. Hope it was their mess and not dirt I couldn't see in that dim light! Thanks guys

The bathroom looks fabulous. The beautiful fixture is installed perfectly!

The price was reasonable and I'm very happy.

They sure brightened my day!!

This was the only company I could find that would do repair on outdoor landscape lights. I called half a dozen other companies and they flat out told me they didn't do landscape lights. But Turn It On would, and they did an excellent job! I am very pleased! They had to do some digging to find the wiring issues, and they were careful to scrape away the rock ground cover - they replaced the wiring, covered with the dirt and replaced the rocks. You couldn't even tell the ground had been disturbed, which is what the technician had promised. Above and beyond just the job of fixing the wire, in my opinion. They did a full diagnostic on the whole system, and fixed some other issues as well, to include replacing a burned out bulb in one light - and they were honest that it was just a bulb instead of gouging me for a new light or something. Very happy with this company and I will use them again when needed! Highly recommend!!

Our lights needed to be replaced. I reached out for an estimate and got a fast response. Schedule estimate appointment and went well. Very thorough and professional. Scheduled the actual appointment date to do all the changes we needed. The technicians, Bob and Chance, showed up on time and were very professional. Got to work right away with minimum disturbance to our day (we work from home). The job took about 4-6 hours. Everything was finished to perfection. Bob and Chance were very thorough with all final details of their work. Made sure we checked everything they had fix to ensure we satisfied. I cannot say enough. Very satisfied with this company.  I will continue to use their services.

I would definitely give this company five stars when it comes to customer service, being able to schedule an appointment and the work that they completed for me.

My only issue is that when I called to ask about scheduling an appointment, I was quoted $199 for the first hour and $145 for every hour after that plus any other material fees. When I received my bill I noticed that it was high, when I called to inquire I was told that it was $145 per technician and I had two technicians on site. I was never told that the fee was per technician and I was never informed that there were two technicians at my house (I had a family member there as I could not be). In fact when I received a text message informing me of the technician that would be coming it only mentioned the one technician.

Again everybody that I dealt with at this company was fabulous and great I just wish that it had been communicated about the fees.

We have been wanting to change the location of our porch light for quite a while. We contacted a local handyman company and they made the process of communication so difficult that we didn't hire them!  We went to Yelp and put out the request for quotes.  TIO made the process so simple.  Super responsive and they arrived exactly when they said they would!!  They left everything tidy before they left!  We are happy with the work they did and the friendliness of all of the technicians we dealt with.

My wife and I needed an outlet replaced and a new one installed, we also decided to put a surge protector on our home. we had a scheduling mix up with the time that I had requested them to be out, but the guys were patient and waited until I would be home from work. When I got home Bob and Kevin went right to work. They explained to me why my outlet was not working, helped me pick a spot where they would not have to cut through drywall to install the new outlet, and took me outside and explained to me how the surge protector was protecting my home as well as what to do if it ever would need to be replaced. They cleaned up after the work was done like they were never even there.  These guys were amazing and I recommend 10/10. This is the second project this company has done in my home since 2020.

It was great to have them come out and get so many little projects done quickly. Scheduling was easy and the crew was great to have! They answered all my questions and explained everything. They went above and beyond to figure out some of the weird wiring in my house so I can use a switch to turn on my lights!

I discovered TIO electric company through Yelp and I'm happy I did. I had technician Conrad show up on time, very professional and helped with what I needed fix but also a few other things throughout the house. He did inform me with things that I could later on down the road get done but I went ahead and had him do them that day. TIO electric is reasonably priced and they booked my appointment fairly fast which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend them!!

We just had three ceiling fans installed by the team at TIO Electric, the guys were very polite, tool COVID-19 related precautions, cleaned up after they were done.  The guys had all three fans installed in under 90 minutes.  I would definitely use TIO Electric again.

BTW... the ceiling fan electrical boxes and switches were pre-wired so no new wiring was required for the project.

Asked for an estimate and they said it would be free but I had to wait for 10 days. The guy came & took pictures and said I had to pay $200 for an actual estimate and that didn't include any supplies or time after an hour. During the week I waited for this free quote I got email asking to set up a time for an estimate. Who knows if they have qualified electricians...I certainly will never use them.

The customer service rep was very professional and helpful in understanding our needs and very flexible in setting up an appointment. The tech was punctual, professional, courteous and very helpful. He took the time to listen to all of our electric modification needs, gave us a great quote for what we asked and then also suggested some alternative scenarios  with different pricing. Overall, it was an outstanding experience dealing with everyone in the company. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone, without any hesitation.

TIO Electric is the COOLEST in the valley! Don't SHORT yourself or get your WIRES CROSSED.
Choose TURN It ON, for your POSITIVE, & BRIGHTEST Electricians, in town; Joking aside, TIO quote me an amazing price, to upgrade my circuit box with not 1, but 2-new dedicated  circuits. That was HALF, of what others quoted, for a single, line. HALF+1, is how TIO, gets it done!! I promise, it won't be a NEGATIVE experience!

Backstory: We originally hired a gentleman off Yelp who supposedly had 5 stars. He went and bought all the supplies and then never came to the actual job for 3 days with no response until I let him know we were terminating our contract.

In the meantime, I had booked and initial estimate with TIO and Robert Sabala came and did the estimate with his apprentice.

Rob is SUPER educated in his field and knowledgeable. I'll be honest, TIO was not the cheapest quote but they install everything to code and give you exact details of what you're paying For. I hired them on the spot!

Their was a small issue that popped up with a water line being too close to the electric and they helped us along with our contractor to get it resolved.

I hope I don't need to but we would use them again in the future

Highly professional team. Everyone was on time and performed work as requested.  All professionals masked and were respectful of propriety.

Turn it on Electric actually went above and beyond helping me replace a few bulbs in my attic and showing me where the boards are in my attic for walking.  In 10 years of owning my house nobody ever was willing to just help me knock this out or share this information.

I received two quotes on the project from different electricians they did the job for $1200 another electrician wanted 1700.

Good, Fast, Affordable.  These guys are the trifecta of electrical contractors.

I recently had a circuit with surge protector installed in my garage. The drywall was cut into and then the technician installed in different section until the install was completed. I was advised that I needed to just contact another company to repair the drywall damage by the technician after the install was performed. I followed up with customer service on this issue and they were slow to respond and required multiple follow ups and zero solutions. Find a company that values accountability, their clients, and stands behind their work.

Had a couple GFI outlets replaced and a switch that was moody. They did a great job troubleshooting and fixing the issue pretty quick. So nice to know it was done the right way with a qualified electrician. Should have done this a long time ago.

Great customer service! Just got the bid and they were much higher than my first bid so we will see if they can make some adjustments. Might have to get one more bid. I can say, the customer service from the start to the gentleman coming out for the bid has been wonderful! We shall see! I just cant justify paying $5,500 more for a job just for great customer service!

Ihad three three bids that I asked for and went with TIO.  It ws a somewhat a big job and I felt very comfortable with the estimator they sent and felt no pressure to make a quick decision which I really appreciated.  I bought a  older home that had been repaired by I can only guess amateurs and it was in horable shape.  They gave me a reasonable bid and i was very happy with the result. They answered all my concerns and questions and did exactly what they said they would.  Highly recommended!  BOB and KEVIN were the best. Actually started out a little bumpy with the front office (lol) but that was fixed real fast.

First, the office team is terrific.  Prompt response, listened to my needs, and made sure I understood that there was a $250 minimum charge.  

HOWEVER, the electricians sent were incompetent, constantly upselling, and had no interested in solving a complex problem.  When the two electricians arrived to solve a 12-volt transformer problem, they were unable/too lazy to isolate which of the 6 transformers in questions was faulty, suggested they all had to be replaced and provided a quote of $185 per transformer (when we found the on-line for approx. $65 each), plus $95 per hour to replace them.

Subsequently, we had a experienced electrician work with us to find a safe and low cost solution.  At his suggestion, we found transformers on Amazon, and while they had to be McGivered, the problem is solved. And we saved literally $1000.

If you want 'cookie cutter,' they are probably fine, but if your issue is out-of-the ordinary, go elsewhere.

The TIO Electric organization is great.  The initial quote was very professional which was then topped by the inside staff.  The actual electricians then performed the work to my total satisfaction.

I'm difficult to please. TIO Installed a 150amp sub panel and conduit for a future spa and pool heater.

Good price, great communication, even better installation. Plan on using them as much as possible--

We were going to go with them but they gave us an hourly rate and the quote failed to include a $250 travel fee. Apparently you have to pay an hourly rate for the time it takes them to get here and they don't mention that in their estimates. We could've had somebody here by now had they given us an accurate quote. It's also funny that they quoted a round trip 2 hour drive when they're less than 10 minutes from us. I guess customers have to pay extra based on where somebody lives. The message below says to call their office but this was the quote they gave us (my mistake, it was $250 just to show up and only $250 for the two-hour round trip drive for a technician who apparently lives 50 minutes away from their office.) Instead of spending $500 here we went to George Brazil and paid $59.

We were very pleased with the service we received from Turn It On Electric - who was recommended by our real estate agent. We were able to get same day service to fix a 3 way switch by scheduling an appointment for a later date and mentioning that if there are any cancellations, we could take that slot. Bob was our service technician, and provided excellent troubleshooting service, explaining the steps as he went through the service. The repair was quick, and all charges were explained in advance.

I had a long list of things that needed to be completed within 3 days. They were great with scheduling and getting everything done.
The electrictions showed up right on time and kept me updated throughout the project.
I think their pricing was well worth the results.

Well the company is very organized and polite but that was the only upside of our experience. We had asked for an electrical rough in and to install trim/lights after drywall was put up. Fast forward - drywall is up, can lights get installed with holes in our brand new drywall. Technicians leave without a word to us as if we wont notice and they didnt know we were home

Fast forward a week or two of figuring out what happened - our drywall contractor is adamant its the electricians fault, Turn it on electric is adamant its the drywallers fault. Bottom line - we eat the cost of repairs to brand new drywall ... not a huge cost but more hassle and probably will end up w blemishes or irregularities in our ceiling.

Whose fault was it really? I dont know. Im not a contractor just caught in the middle. I can tell you I will not do business with either Turn it on Electric or the other contractor again. The Best! Stop searching for an electrician right now. I found this company on Yelp. I got three bids install a 50 amp circuit in my garage for a Tesla charger. Not the cheapest bid, the best bid.
The appointment was easy, the estimator was on time. I got the bid in minutes. Once awarded the job (lol-these guys do this in their sleep), the payment and appointment was easy. Office staff is excellent. Responsive friendly and timely. The electricians showed up exactly on time. Finished the work exactly on time--they had to cut drywall (and referred me to a repair company) and it was clean and perfect. The drywall person said it was the beat job he'd ever seen. TESLA dropped the ball, so the charger didn't arrive on time. They had to come back. Again, easy, friendly, responsive. The same service tech/electrician came out--EARLY. I handed him the box and left him alone in my house  to go pick up my new car. He texted that he was done and I drove into my garage to see the charger glowing on the wall. Perfect install. Perfect follow up. I spoke with the owner who CARES.
As I said. Don't bother looking any further. Whatever you need from small job to big job, Turn It On really does turn it on with extraordinary and exemplary work and customer service. Enjoy your experience!

Overall I was satisfied with their work on our electric charger. The bid came in lower than the competition and I hired them. When the installers came they spend about twice as long on the project than was bid.

They ended up charging me for one extra hour of labor which was fine but it would have been good to get a proper bid in the first place to budget for the project.

In the end, I was happy with the outcome.  Everyone was professional.

Just had Bob and Richard put in two outdoor circuits for me.  They did a great job, showed up when they said they would, and cleaned everything up afterwards.  Awesome experience!  TIO as a whole did a very nice job, and I would use them again without a doubt.  I called for an estimate, 24 hours later, I had it, and 24 more hours until it was done.  Still waiting for the first two companies to call me back.

Hubby had asked for my help in finding a good, reputable company to help him in installing some smart switches.  Hubby is handy with some things but when it comes to messing with electrical stuff, it was most prudent to have a trained professional do the work.  I wholeheartedly agree.

It was early in the morning when hubby made his call to TIO.  We were laying in bed together while he made the call and he did make his requests very clear - someone to come out preferably sooner rather than later to inspect some wiring and install the smart switches he bought.  The lady receptionist was able to have someone come out in about 2 hours.  Talk about FAST!  Hubby quickly agreed.  The tech assigned to us came out earlier than the quoted time frame.  How lucky of us to have 2 different companies come out to us sooner on the same day!

Our tech was polite and honest with his opinions.  He was able to recommend a cheaper alternative to achieve a goal hubby wanted for the kitchen instead of trying to steer us into doing a partial remodel to accommodate the space the wires would need. I strongly said no as soon as I heard the partial remodel was mentioned.  Sorry, not sorry!  The tech did install all the smart switches hubby wanted.  Thanks to TIO, he can relax knowing his goal has been reached.

I took off a star because the receptionist did not communicate to the tech the full request of hubby.  Tech believed he was only doing an estimate when it was supposed to be a full job.  Also, the tech made the same small error twice in 2 different switches.  This was caught before he left our house but as a trained professional, it was confusing that the error happened not once but twice.

Hubby and I appreciate how easy it was to get a hold of the company, the scheduling, and the promptness of the whole process.  Even with the small mishaps, we won't hesitate to use them again.

Contacted TiO Electric after reading their reviews and they did not disappoint me. I recently purchased two ceiling lights that I needed to be installed. Bob and Richard arrived and got right to work removing the old and installing the new. Once they finished with the install, they made sure to sweep up all the little pieces from the old fixtures. This company made a wonderful first impression. Becca answered and was friendly and helpful getting me scheduled for a next-day inspection/estimate. However, they stop answering the phones at 4 and divert you to an answering service that doesn't have access to anything. So I called back the next day and allegedly had everything scheduled as promised the day before.  She made some dubious comments regarding the scheduling that made me wonder if they'd follow through. I should have trusted my gut. Not only did they not show up as scheduled, I haven't heard from them again. It has been over 48 hours since they were supposed to do this estimate for me. They have my phone number and email address. No call, no show.... Next!!

In response to Chad's reply, please see the added screen shot of emails clearly showing the details of my appointment. It is too late to make this right. I needed an electrician immediately. Please see my other reviews to find a reliable electrician who shows up on time!

I hired them to replace the electrical box on the side of my home.  Everything went well, but the box that they installed was smaller than my prior box, so they left a hole in the side of my home.  The guys who did the work suggested that I call someone to fill it in, at my own expense of course.

I spent four hours waiting for this company and they no showed. Cannot recommend.

The day before my appointment, I received a text asking me to confirm my 8-12 appointment time. I responded yes to confirm. Noon rolls around and no one has shown up. I call to ask what's going on and am told that someone supposedly called me the day beforehand to let me know they wouldn't be here. Odd, because I don't have any missed calls or voicemails. All I have is a text confirming my appointment which I responded to. I will not be giving this company my business.

First of all, the dispatcher was a delight! She made sure I got help right away, I was having a dinner party that night. First point of contact was with Dawn in the office. She was very professional and nice! She also texted to confirm appointments. I like that as a reminder!

Second point of contact was Junior. He came out to give me an estimate. Junior was very nice, and very easy to talk to. What he quoted was spot on.

Third point of contact was with Brian and Bob. They did an outstanding job. They were to replace a ballast in our server room which was not an easy task as there is equipment to work around. They installed the ballast and did not work right away. They troubleshooted and figured out how to get the ballast to connect properly (it was a different kind than the original), and wallah! The lights were working!

I would recommend TIO. This was my first time using them. Thanks all, and great job!

I needed a new electric outlet for my new electric car. Unfortunately  for me, the circuit breakers were on the other side of the house. I got 6-7 estimates before Turn it On Electric, and these ranged all over (1 estimate was $1,000 more). Also, some had time estimates to do the job ranging from 1-2 days. Turn It On Electric had a reasonable estimate and did the job in 3 1/2 hours. They did a GREAT job! I was very very pleased with the work done.

We highly recommend Turn It On Electric! Our breaker had issues, which caused the electricity to both our microwave and refrigerator to stop, which could have caused all of our perishables to go bad.
We called Turn It On L, and they had technicians at our house within a few hours. They had to run out and grab a part, and didn't charge us for the time it took them to do that. Everyone was friendly, from the office support to the actual technicians. We were lucky to have Bob Best and Eric Dubois as our technicians. They explained everything in a way we could understand, and got the job done quickly. We didn't feel like they were trying to upcharge us or rip us off in any way. We highly recommend Turn It On Electric and will definitely call them again!

With so many good reviews/ratings I thought I'd found a winner. I contacted this business about a week ago and was told I'd have a response within 4 business days. At this point in the game, a guaranteed response time is better than the silence I've gotten from other companies. Sadly, it's been the 4 business days and instead of a response to my service request they just added me to their spammy email list. What a disappointment that they're not only as bad as their competitors in terms of lack of response, but took advantage of my contact info to add me to their mailing list instead. This review is long overdue. Bob and Bryan showed up a few months ago and did exactly what we asked them to do and then some. We had several outlets in our kitchen that were not mounted properly when the house was built. Each and every one felt like a fire hazard. Bob and Bryan came in and not only remounted all of our outlets, as requested, but were also able to repair the baffle in our laundry room light as well. All work was completed with a great attitude and a great work ethic. They were in and out as quickly as possible. I would recommend them to anybody!

What an excellent experience with Liam, Richard, Faith and Junior from TiO Electric! I was put in touch with the company by the owner's brother, whose own flooring company did some fabulous work for us a couple of years ago. I finally went for it and called Turn It On to see what they could do for us with installing can lights and a new fan in our living room - with no crawl space! I couldn't imagine how they would do it; but Faith at the office booked us promptly for a walk-through & estimate, and before the week was out the job was completed beautifully in a single day! We were so happy with our new living room that we immediately booked Liam and Richard to return the next week and redo our kitchen lighting too. Liam really took the time to understand the unusual wiring in our home (ha!) and explained it to us, fixing several other potential issues for us while he was here at no extra charge. Today I had a 240V outlet  installed today in my garage for my new electric car. Shawn from Turn it on Electric was my installer.  The Appointment was scheduled for 7 AM and Shawn showed up 5 min early. I was very impressed. After he took a look and seen what he would need for the job, he gave me a quote for $450.  I guess he thought I was going to freak out, but his quote was $200 less then the previous two quotes I received. He told me to give him 1hr it finish the job and 45min later he was letting me know he was all done.  Everything was all clean and worked perfect.   This was the 1st time since I've owned my home, I have had a good eexperience with a contractor.   So thank you TIO and thank you Shawn.

Given all of the positive reviews, perhaps their service is great - if you can get them to actually show up, which I was unable to do. I called in late December for an appointment, and they were booking about two weeks out. I was told they had a 7 AM appointment, or a window between 8 AM and noon. I took the 7 AM appointment. On the morning of my appointment, no one showed up. I called about 7:20 a.m. for a status check. The woman who answered said she would look into it and call me back. No one called back. At around 9:30 that morning, I called again, and someone told me that several electricians were out sick the week before, so they bumped my appointment, but no one bothered to call to tell me. He apologized and reset my appointment for four days later, at 7 AM again. Same issue that day - no one showed up. I called, and someone told me they would call the tech and find out where they were, but no one called me back. At approximately 9:30 that morning, the electrician called to tell me he was on the way to my house. I explained that I was supposed to have an appointment at 7 AM, so I had already gone to work, since I never heard from anyone. He checked the schedule, and confirmed my appointment was at 7 AM. He said he was a manager, and someone would call me to reschedule, and offered to waive the $60 service fee. That was a week ago, and no one ever called me to reschedule. I absolutely cannot recommend them in light of their disorganization, poor communication, and unreliability.

I was referred to this company by one of my contractors after an eight day journey to get a new water heater installed. When they finally had it all in, the electrical components didn't extend far enough and they advised me I would need an electrician. I was given Chad's info and he was immediately helpful to assess what would be required and the next morning they called me to try and fit me in. Lucky for me they had a cancellation and Ivan came out early enough to connect everything and allow plenty of time for the tank to heat up and give us hot water by 5pm! Hired Turn It On Electric in an emergency A/C no longer working in the summer situation. It wasn't cheap, but it was emergency rates and they did show up only an hour after I called! They were good to deal with on the phone and in person and did excellent work. Bob, my electrician, was outstanding! He was really upfront with the fees and went through everything patiently and when he arrived was very professional, capable and thorough. I would hire them again in an instant! Needed quick service and these guys were able to accommodate and squeeze me in.  They quickly identified the problem and resolved the issue.  Bob was easy to work with and went above to ensure no other issues were present.  

Note, if you think they need to access an attic, schedule a morning appointment.  They will not go in an attic in the afternoon heat, which is perfectly understandable for safety reasons, but this could cause delay in a repair.

After my father passed away my mom downsized from the home I grew up in to a mobile home in a little 55+ community. She needed her space to be manageable, and to be around friends. Perfect, right? Until you realize that these little spaces also have plumbing, electrical, and a/c issues, and contractors aren't quite lining up out the door for those jobs.
I called 5 different electricians prior to getting connected with Turn It On, 2 didn't have the proper insurance to work on a mobile home, and the other 3 gave me the run around, and even set appointments only to no show. Listen, I'm not naive to think that the size of the service I was requesting was appealing to them however, being in the service industry myself (mortgage), I would never treat a buyer with a lower loan amount as if their business wasn't worth my time or even a call back.

That said, Turn It On Electric really went above and beyond! From the very first phone call with Crystal who handles scheduling, to the amazing, on time, professional, courteous, & knowledgeable service my mom received from her tech, Pedro, they truly are the best. We did have a couple of scheduling hiccups, but Crystal was always ahead of communicating with me and considerate of my time, as well as my moms. Crystal and Pedro both, treated our service request as if it was the most important one they had, they were a pleasure to work with. Turn It On Electric is definitely my #1 recommendation to anyone looking for an electrician in the Valley!

Our home had some areas that needed improved. For a reason to only be known to the builder of this home, there was no oven circuit, no chandelier over the dining room table and some weird switches that needed fixed. We found TIO Electric and could not be happier with our decision. We called the office for an appointment on Tuesday, Thursday morning Rob showed up to give us the estimate. He was courteous and arrived promptly as promised. His bids were within our budget and he was able to start the same day! Starting the same day had something to do with a slowdown created by the whole Corona Virus thing but we were happy to have such attention. Rob and Ivan started on the same day and banged out a new oven circuit. We were really worried about drywall cuts but the guys did the whole circuit with just a single drywall cut in the master water closet. No paint or texture needed for a while. Day 2 of work Ivan and Rob showed up exactly when they said they would. They had some attic work to do and Rob drew the short straw. Up he went. The mess from the insulation was kept close to the work and they vacuumed it up before they left. Should we need anything else I would definitely choose these guys again. They have my 110% recommendation to anybody looking for a solid,dependable, fairly priced electrician.

Very unhappy with the service I received. Had an issue with our pool electrical, and after going back in forth with our home warranty company and spending several hundred dollars just to find out they won't cover it, I called Turn It On Electric and spoke to Lenny. After explaining the situation he said he would waive the $250 troubleshoot fee after I told him multiple companies (through our warranty company) had been out and troubleshooting wouldn't solve the problem. He agreed to send someone out to look over the issue/give estimate/troubleshoot if they thought possible and waive the first hour of troubleshooting.
A rep came out, had zero knowledge of the waived fee, was unable to fix the problem, gave quote, and said he would have to collect $250 for troubleshooting. He did not believe me and said I was mistaken and must have heard wrong. Paid the $250 and he left.
Out of principle, I did not want to use their services future if the will go back on their word for something minor in the grand scheme of the repair we needed (their quote $5000+ dollars). Called another certified electrical company, they came out that night, gave a free estimate, and fixed the issue for nearly $3000 cheaper than Turn It On Electric.

UPDATE: My review while an honest opinion, needs an update. I had a call from the company and I wasn't going to call back because I wasn't looking to argue... but I did. They actually were very nice and began with an apology and an offer to make things right. We also talked about my review, and it was explained there were some miscommunications and misunderstandings and what caused them. What they said was plausible. Most important and not just for them, but for anyone is that they owned their mistakes. They didn't just leave them like other businesses have done, they owned them, and tried to correct them, but I already had someone else come out for the problems. At least they tried and that has to count for something. They didn't ask me to rewrite the review or take it down, or offer me money to change it, all of which has happened with others. I offered to update. It is also why I usually don't write reviews right away, because I want to try and keep things in perspective, and be fair, and in this case, my frustration got to me and I am sorry.  Again, it doesn't mean that things happened any differently, they didn't. At least there are  possible reasons. So I upgraded their stars, the rest is up to you to decide.

From the initial estimate all the way through completion of work TIO was awesome. The estimate process for having an old light fixture in our vaulted kitchen ceiling was open and very honest. We were given an estimate and also an idea for an alternative but they didn't try to push anything. Scheduling was fast, a day before email reminder came with a specific time and the day of work we were given a 30 minute heads up to confirm they were on their way. The two electricians that showed up were friendly, professional and left my kitchen cleaner than before they entered. We will definitely use TIO again in the future.

Great company. They came out and helped me the same day that I noticed an outdoor outlet had gotten some water into it and started to smoke. It really scared me, so I really appreciated that they sent someone out within a couple of hours. The repairman did a great job and talked me through my options for fixing it. I put a request for a quote online with yelp, I got a phone call today from I believe John, he was willing to come give me a quote for my work but wanted to charge me for the quote since I cannot be home from work till 4 pm and anything after that would be considered after hours...I have called a couple other companies and they have been able to set up appointments to arrive at 4 pm for their estimate without an issue. I am disappointed to say the least as I thought the reviews on here were pretty decent.  He was pleasant on the phone. Unfortunately I cannot take time off of work to be home for an estimate that should take all of 10 minutes.

I cannot comment on their work, they have a good rating so I am sure it's up to code.

Had the misfortune of having a partial power outage but the good fortune of finding these guys. Called on a weekend at 730 and had a technician come by in less than two hours. Jose was very professional and helpful, diagnosed the problem, and replaced my main breaker.  I am very pleased to have stumbled on to Turn It On Electric and will certainly return for future electrical needs. We have a new build and needed 6 fans, 2 chandeliers and 3 pendants installed. Pedro arrived at 8 and powered through these items, one by one. It took 7 hours and he never stopped! Having just purchased on older home that had the same owners for 20 years, we had some interesting challenges on the electrical side, and some things we wanted to change to make life easier. Rob Sabala was an exceptional electrician from day one, from quote to installation. He even called and followed up with me in the middle of me getting other quotes from competitors. Our pool pump and back yard watering system just stopped.  Phoned TiO after 5pm.  It wasn't an emergency in my book because I can use buckets to water the plants for a day even in the Az summer.  TiO called back in the morning as promised and the technician arrived within the time window as promised.  Tech identified the breaker failed likely due to age and fixed it.   Price was reasonable and invoice clear.  Thanks TiO.  Your now on my who to call list!

They were quick to set up the first appointment. The electrician was friendly and clearly knew what he was doing. From there it went downhill a bit. We had communication issues. I was told that they would do some research to find the right part and they would get back to me. About 2-weeks later, nothing. So I called and left a message and was told someone would get ahold of me, nothing. Tried going through yelp and got a response that they would get on it, but still nothing. About 3-weeks out I sent another message and finally got some movement. The electrician couldn't reach me on my phone. Perhaps wrong number? Did reach me later ok. In the end the work was satisfactory but electrician forgot something. Luckily I double checked the work before he left, so he fixed the missing item before leaving. I felt like I had to manage the process too much in order to get things done.

Our electrician arrived at 7 a.m. sharp, just as we had scheduled. Bob was not only courteous and friendly, but completely professional and knowledgeable. Because we had talked with the office ahead of time, Bob brought all the parts he needed with him, so he was able to set up and complete the job in 30 minutes or so. Although ours was a small job, we were so impressed with Bob and Turn It On Electric, that when we have time to tackle a couple of more extensive projects, they'll be the ones we call. Rob and Billy were FANTASTIC!  It was a big job of moving 2 ceiling fans to different rooms, adding 2 new ceilings in the rooms they removed the ceiling fans from, adding pendant lights and changing a chandelier.  They took the time to make sure it was right, checking with me on the heights of the chandelier and pendant were correct.  They cleaned up and even offered to take out the trash.  I even overheard Rob tell Billy to install like you are working on your own house, which is awsome to hear that kind of care went into my install.  Rob even answered a unrelated question on a circuit breaker that keeps tripping in my new construction home. The estimate was right on to what I was charged. I would give both of them 5 stars.

Pedro Madril was just here and did a meticulous job with our pool and spa wiring. He found a scorched lizard in the breaker and recommended their TIO pool guy come out tomorrow and check out our pumps which are clogged.

Great customer service and work quality. Within 24 hours of calling about an unknown problem with the wiring in my spa they had a electrician at my home to diagnose the problem. I'm a REALTOR so I sometimes need a quick bid for a buyer on a plethora of different items ranging from non functional GFCI's to an entire re-wire and electrical box upgrade when we get the inspection back. I called Turn It On Electric and they were able to get a technician out to give us a bid within 24 hours and had the bid to us within 48 hours of our call. Loyally and frequentUsed these guys for past 2 years .. Pedro was outstanding however now that he has left service and reliability seem to have also left the company. Most recently I had them. Move 2 electrical outlets and install 3 can lights and the bill was 1100$ .. normally they send a email receipt right as you pay them but this time I didn't get one. I called the office to request one as well as ask if the 1100$ was correct and got a we will get back to you.. still don't have a receipt and still no callback. Therefore they are telling me they don't care and thus why I am posting a negative survey.

Used Turn It On Electric twice in the last month for a new home we bought in Phoenix and very happy with the price and prompt arrival. Most convenient thing about them is, that on both occasions, they were able to provide an estimate by phone that was within $20 of the actual price, VERY convenient not to schedule an estimate, then schedule the repair.

They were also about $50 - $100 less than the best quote we got from other LICENSED electricians in the area. I would definitely use them again, they stand behind their work, one of the things they completed for me was a ceiling fan installation on a 16' high vaulted ceiling, when they were finished and left, I noticed the fan making a clicking noise when running. They came right back and fixed it, no extra fee, no questions asked.

I will use TIO from here on out.  Bob came out and gave me a formal estimate to do some work in my house...install 4 new fixtures and then wire and install 2 new fans.  Mere days later he was back out to do the work.  He was friendly and professional.  He is also a heads-down, get-the-job done kind of person.  He worked non-stop and cleaned up after done.  
There was also an apprentice that showed up...over an hour late and then left for 3 hours only to return to help load up the tools.  I understand this is maybe an internal issue, but it is was observed at the client level.  I felt bad for Bob not having help for the duration of the work.  This did not influence my rating, because the work was done and done well regardless of my sympathy :)
Nonetheless, I will personally request to have Bob back and have already started making a list of the work in Phase 2.  
Oh, and the cost to have everything done was extremely fair.

I had an electrical issue with my pool light as it no longer would turn on, so I went on Yelp to find a good Electrician.  I'm glad I cam across TIO.

What can I say about these guys?  One, the technician, Tyson, showed up about 20 minutes EARLY (who does that?).  Very nice!  Second, he figured out a way to fix my issue with minimal cost to me and kept the repair under one hour, so I would not have to pay for the second hour (they bill hourly).  Third, they had a Yelp coupon which saved me even more money.  Fourth, Tyson explained how if I needed an additional repair, he would do what he could to keep the cost down and gave a very reasonable estimate for the work.  I have had other electricians look at this issue and quote me the maximium amount possible to pad their pocketbook.

In conclusion, TIO was prompt, easy to schedule appt with, very reasonable pricing, and tries to save me money on my electrical repair needs whenever possible.  If you need an electrician, look no further than TIO.

From Haley in the office to Rob who was my electrician as well as his boss everybody was extremely helpful and caring in what was a very stressful situation. Turns out the previous electrician hasn't tightened things down correctly in my panel causing it to arc. I'm lucky it wasn't something worse than no A/C in a phoenix summer. From the very first phone call they put me on hold to talk to rob directly and see if he could make it out the same day even though I had called at 1pm, waited for maybe a minute and she came back to tell me yes they would be there by 4. Rob showed up and immediately addressed the problem showing me exactly what was happening and making recommendations by putting himself in my shoes and letting me know what he would do.  Called his boss who was at home by this point but still answered and FaceTimed to see the problem and see if he had any additional thoughts as it was something that aps and the city would have to get involved with.  Rob then went to Home Depot to get a part and see if they had others knowing this was a big job and would be expensive when he got back he recommended multiple thoughts as far as warranty since I was at no fault. Even said he understood that I might have to use someone else if I wasn't allowed to use who I wanted to make repairs yet still made himself available if I needed help explaining what was going on for warranty purposes. The next day I called and was told I can use who I want so I immediately called Rob and he got the ball rolling. Haley called and let me know they were getting permits started with the city and aps was on their way to get power shut down. By 315 my panel had been replaced and power restored and turned back on by aps. I could not be happier and felt like I was being dealt with like I was everyone of these employees family member.

Used Yelp for a quote and the owner, Chad, was very quick and responsive to my questions. Received a call from Nate that took time to hear my elementary explanation of our inspector's findings but he was patient and kind. He was willing to squeeze us into a busy Friday since we weren't sure when we'd have keys to the new home. Received keys later in the day and Nate decided to schedule us a nice morning appointment so the right time could be taken to troubleshoot the issue. TIO sent out their tech, Bob Best - he called prior to arriving to give me idea of his ETA, he was professional and totally knowledgeable. He even found an additional issue during troubleshooting and made all repairs timely! Very good service and took time to explain to me all the issues and how he'd corrected them. I have been meaning to change out some fluorescent light fixtures for several years but I never got around to doing it because I thought it would be a big hassle. I called Turn It On Electric and booked an appointment to finally get it done. Pedro showed up this morning right on time and knew exactly what needed to be done with the mess of wires in my kitchen. Pedro and Robert were amazing on my service call to install a new ceiling fan and update several fixtures in my house. They were knowledgeable, friendly and very courteous. On my first service call, Pedro provided me with an estimate for all of the work and he was spot on! The final costs were very fair and exactly what I was expecting to pay based on the estimate. I have used them twice now both times got a gentlemen  named Pedro who was awesome  ! Gabe me a call to  let me was in his way and showed up right in time when my appointment  was scheduled. Our new dryer had been installed after a week and a half fiasco and we were anxious to catch up on laundry. The outlet wasn't working. We called Turn It On Electric on a Saturday, the electrician was there in one hour, and one hour later we were up and running. They offered prompt, reliable and reasonable service - even at the emergency rates. I will definitely use them again.

I had an appointment scheduled today for an estimate. The time was to be between 2 and 4. I received a phone call at 7 asking if they can give me the estimate over the phone without seeing the inside of my home. I left work early so I can be home in the event they showed up at 2. Overall I had a great experiences with them. Bill Brown was the technician that installed my fan that required running new electrical for it. He was great! I was quoted a price over the phone and that's what it was when Bill was finished. I will have them out again to instal a new chandelier.

I Hired Turn it On Electric based on their reviews. There was some damages from their original install, but the owner came out to inspect it and had another contractor come out to fix the repairs. I would recommend using them, the employees are friendly and professional, especially Pedro who came out to finish the job, I would highly recommend him for all of your electrical needs, Pedro is very friendly and professional and went above and beyond to make sure I was completely happy with the job.

Thank you.  Came out fixed an issue and got my sauna working again. They checked to see what the problem was and saw that my dedicated plug was perfect and problem was with sauna. Fixed two wires that were not connected properly and the sauna works now.

When we remodeled our home three years ago, the contractor we used was an idiot. He has wired a number of things incorrectly in our home. I knew Chad trhough a few business groups. I called Turn It On Electric and he sent some real pros over. They diagnosed rapidly the confusing wiring in my home, made the repairs quickly and locked up when they left.

I have since used their company a number of times and they have always been responsive and fair.

Being in customer service myself, I often choose Yelp to help me find what I am looking for.  I chose Turn It On because of the great reviews.  Pedro was nice enough to call ahead to ask what time would be best for me within the 2 hour window of my appt.  I was just getting out of work, so I really appreciated that.  He was fast, knowledgeable, super friendly.  He did not mind me asking questions as we went along.  He explained everything he was doing.  My curiosity did not seem to bother him in the least.  I would use them again, and I would definitely ask for Pedro.  He excelled in the customer service department, which often times these days is hard to find.  Thanks for the great service!

My initial review was not so great because i was unhappy with the results of the work. Since that time, this morning to be exact, one of the problems has been resolved and in a timely manner. My fan works perfectly now. As an aside it was a human error but one that needed some finesses by an electrician. Thank you Laurie for having Bill come by this afternoon. I give TIO my highest recommendation. Pedro and Junior provided the expertise needed and accomplished our lighting renovation at a fair price. Project included installation of multiple pendants and overhead lights in 18-foot ceilings, installation of outdoor porch lights, outdoor ceiling fan, multiple indoor ceiling fans and repair of nonworking fixtures. The project was booked and finished within a very short time frame. Pedro and Junior arrived promptly on the scheduled days for the estimate session and the two days of work. They were professional, friendly and accomplished a huge amount of work over a total of two days. They stayed within estimated cost and delivered the work on time. We would absolutely use them again and recommend them to our family and friends.

Impressed! Pedro did an excellent job installing a gfci outlet in my 1938 bathroom! He was fast, efficient, and cleaned up nicely-- even with messy plaster walls to deal with! He also provided me with the name of a plaster specialist to contact after his part of the job was done. I'll be having Pedro and Turn It On come back soon for another electrical project.

Contacted this company based on previous YELP reviews and I was very pleased with them!  Pedro contacted us and arrived earlier than originally scheduled.  He walked into a needle in a haystack outage and was SO professional and efficient.  I felt very confident he was doing his best and treated me like I was his only appointment that day.  He was very thorough in explaining what he was doing and why he was doing it.  Very respectful of our home, cleaning up and taking care with his equipment while working.  Will definitely request Pedro for future electrical service!

On Jun11th, I signed a contract with TIO and Rob to replace my Control Panel. He said that his office would call when APS and City of Peoria would have set date. I received call from office the next day telling me it would 2-4 weeks. I told them I needed as soon as possible. On July 1st Rob came out to get final measurements and while there, my A/C breaker went out. Rob called the office and told Haley we need to do an emergency job now with 110 degree. The whole staff and Rob coordinated the job and Rob volunteer to work late that night to replace my control panel.He started at 7 pm. that night and finished at 1:15 am. that morning. He told me that he wasn't going on vacation until I  had my electric working.On July 2nd, the next day the City and APS did the inspections and everything was working by 2 pm. I can't say enough about TIO staff, determination and hard work, especially Rob, Haley and Becca. I would highly recommend them and give them TEN STARS.

Sun City house needed to replace kitchen light, install a box for it and wire in a new outlet in the pantry for a small freezer. We got a quick response to our voice mail and set up an appt. Made an appointment to get some work done at my house. Made the appointment on Thursday, They told me they could be at my house the next day, Friday, between 1 and 3 pm. they never showed. At 3.45 pm, I called the office, and the lady that I spoke with was very polite, yet told me that the person was way behind, and that they couldn't make it out. I reminded her that I took a half day off work for this. She then calls back, says that they can't find anybody for Saturday, and is there a day next week that they could schedule. What, take another half day on the off chance that you will actually show up??? I don't think so!!! by the way, homeadvisor is a fraud, they won't post negative reviews.

Just had Turn It On Electric out this morning to hook up a ceiling fan to electricity on my patio. First, they called when they were on their way which I really appreciated since I had them arriving around 7am and simply because that's excellent communication and much appreciated. When they arrived, they were polite, professional and courteous. It was the second day on the job for one of the techs and other then the fact he told me, you wouldn't have known. He did an excellent job and was so nice. We chatted about a few things and he told me about his kids and showed me a photo of the lemonade booth he built for his kids. Just very personable and kind. Despite all the talk, they still completed the job less time then previous electricians had quoted me, a lot less. I'm truly impressed with their work and their professionalism. We will definitely use them in the future for electrician needs.

When our tenants informed us that they were having numerous electrical problems in the house they rent from us, I had nightmares about what the problem might be. The stove was out, the refrigerator blew the circuit, the bedroom lights turned off when the door slammed and then came back on unexpectedly, all of the outlets were loose. So I did a little research on Yelp and ROC and called Turn It On Electric.  They were able to schedule a 2 hour window for an appointment for the next day.
Pedro M. called me in advance, as I had requested, so I could meet him at the house. He listened to the laundry list of problems and went to work. Within 2 hours he had checked the electric panel, tested the problematic circuits, explained to the tenant where high electric use appliances should be plugged in, replaced six outlets, and repaired the stove outlet. It was like magic. I held my breath waiting to hear what the bill was and was absolutely shocked at how reasonable it was. Pedro was so polite and helpful. This is one business card that I'm keeping in a safe place!

Scott Gibson was my electrician, and you couldn't ask for better.  I needed 5 light fixtures replaced, all smoke alarms replaced, and some honey do's (like trying to get a bulb out of a socket and a check on the safety of a wall plug that blew a light timer).  He answered my long list of questions and did a great job, quick and efficient.  Their pricing is excellent, and even before setting an appointment, their office staffer, Tessa, was friendly and helpful.   Turn It On will be my go-to electricians from now on.

As a single mother, I have to admit that I sometimes need help with household fixes. Over the years, Turn It On Electric has been my go-to company for those honey do things. They have done rewiring, installation of lights, updates of switches, and even some troubleshooting on the electrical components of my pool pump. Chad and his crew are excellent!! Always prompt, great rates, and gets the job done!  I have been using TIO for several years now and they have completed work for me personally at my office by adding more drops and even network wiring as well as many of our property management clients.  I plan to continue to use Turn It On for all of our electrical needs, in our property management department, and will continue to refer Chad to resale clients .

I needed an electrician to come out to our property as soon as possible to investigate multiple electrical issues.  When I called Turn It On Electric they were able to schedule a technician(Pedro) the same day.  Pedro came out right on time as I was told.  He is very knowledgeable and experienced.  Pedro explained the issue to us and was able to take care of it right away.  His office was great to work with as we needed forms completed by his office.  The rate is very competitive in fact it is cheaper than other electricians.  I will definitely recommend Pedro at Turn It On Electric to anyone.

This company is great.  Chad the owner is very knowledgable.  They have after hours for emergency needs and someone to answer at all times.  I am a general contractor and use this company exclusively for all my job needs.  Carlos is awesome.  He works hard and has been available even on weekends to help my out when I've been in tight time crunches.  He is always responsive, courteous with the customers, professional and very knowledgeable.  I would recommend this company to anyone for all your electrical needs big or small.

First let me say the TIO responded to my voice mail quickly and the technician that was sent to my home was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. That being said...

A little background story, wiring to in-ground swimming pool had a dead short underground somewhere. Needed to be re-wired. TIO Technician diagnosed the problem and provided an estimate to complete the work. Said they could help me out with a materials and time estimate.

Two guys, approx. 10 hours, plus materials (approx. $800-$900). Total estimate was $2000 but was told it would probably be closer to $1700 and change when complete.

Had 2 other electricians estimate the same project, both were within a few dollars of each other, $825-$850 range. Had the work completed over the weekend.

Materials were estimated at $484, were actually $70 less expensive
1 man working, 6.5-7  hours @ $20 per hour for a total $140
Paid for the materials, time, and tip, total...$700!

Moral, do your homework. I saved at least $1000. Thanks again to TIO for helping me out with the estimate.

The techs that came out were very nice and got the job done. However, it did take 6 hours of labor and $400 to get one light rewired and one cable installed. I know electrical work is expensive, but that seems very high to me.

Turn It On Electric are pro's. One of the things I look for in any tradesman is neat work. I don't like sloppy wiring, crooked wall switches or little bits of wire all over the place. These guys make sure the job is complete. On top of that they are really knowledgeable and want to do it right. I had Chad take a look at my breaker box which was making some weird noises. There were things in there not done right from years ago, loose connections and code violations. I could have had a fire. Now I have peace of mind that the whole thing has been checked and it's done right.

My landlord sent these guys to fix my bathroom and hallway lights. Everything else in the house was working fine. The electrician arrived and after 1 hour had blown a fuse and killed power to half the house. He didn't seem to understand how the house was set up as he kept asking us where the indoor fuse box was and seemed generally confused. He told us he had to get another electrician to go in the attic and left. He never came back and all calls went straight to voicemail. After calling the company a second electrician was sent out. He worked for about 2-3 hours and left. After the 2nd electrician, the rest of the house lost power. We have 2 working outlets, working AC, and a working fridge.  It's now day 2 and they didn't send anyone over today. After another call I was told 2 electricians MIGHT be sent tomorrow after they call our landlord. The man on the phone, Bruce, seemed combative and irritated at us, and didn't offer any apologies or ownership for the problems his company caused. At this point it's plainly obvious this company doesn't know what they're doing and doesn't care about their customers.  Do not do business with these people. Steer clear and find competent electricians who have the skills and know how to at least fix a bathroom light.
