I am from Phoenix. My family and my wife's family live in the Valley as well. We work hard to provide a service that we feel great about putting our name on. The reason we are successful is because we have great people working with us. We work hard to find and attract people that find satisfaction in taking care of other people. Some people are more wired to do this than others and we are lucky enough to work with a lot of them.

With this company  you will pay for monthy service for years and when you need the to actually do anything  they all they do is make excuses!

Contacted Blue Sky to treat a rat problem on a rental property.  Since I don't live at the address, I asked them to schedule with the tenant and I would pay for services.  After taking all of my information, they refused to schedule with the tenant.  If you are a property management company or rental property owner, save yourself some time and find another pest control company.

They were very friendly and came out the next day after calling them . We are now on a membership where they come spray every other month or as needed . No more scorpions for us !!

The core of this review is based on Blue Sky's lack of willing to work with their clients during times of hardship.  I had a loss of income in my home and Blue Sky refused to place a moratorium on our service.  They instead came back with two options which were not offering me any savings with my service plan.  It seems they would rather lose the lose a customer and several hundred dollars worth of service per year then put a suspense on the service on our account.  I guess that's their model.  I paid the $50 'penalty' which terminated our contract and we're happy to never go back or recommend this company ever again.  

Additionally it is noted that my pest problems were never fully rectified with Blue Sky.  Look at the other reviews? They speak for themselves... To be fair?  I did like our technician, I felt as though he was trustworthy but I don't think he did the best job of mitigating our bug problems.  

Shame on you Blue Sky, I look forward to telling people how crappy your  service model is and how shoddy your treatments really are.

I've been using Blue Sky for over 2 years and they are fantastic. Their treatments seem very effective as we do not have the big nasty pests. The only exception is ants. Those critters are very determined. Blue Sky is responsive to coming out between services to deal with the ants specifically. They spot treat the pop-up areas and it clears up within a few days. I think it's mainly due to us having dogs so they won't use the most effective poisons in order to protect my pets. Because they are so good about coming back out I'm very satisfied.

I'm pleased with their technicians. We have never had any issues with their employees. I even got a preemptive termite assessment and quote. We came back clear and termite free and had the options all outlined for us for prevention to keep it that way. Great company.

Cindy came out to my home this week because I thought I may have a termite issue.
She was on time, super friendly, and extremely thorough. She sat down with me after and explained what she found and all of my options.
I don't make a lot of money, and she didn't pressure me to get the most expensive plan or make me feel badly about getting the least expensive one.
I haven't had their service yet, but I am looking forward to having them help me.

I've called Blue Sky twice when I had concerns about termites. Both times they came out and checked out my house and gave pest recommendations but gave us an all clear check at no charge. I keep going back and keep them in mind as my go to pest service because they're so customer oriented, prompt, and helpful!

Not happy with this company at all. We bought a new house and found crickets and scorpions. Got scammed into the one year contract. They took care of the crickets but even though we paid extra for scorpion control, we continued to find 4 or 5 scorpions in the house every month. Since we have a one year old in the house, this was very disconcerting. At the end of the contract we switched to Responsible Pest Control.  Since starting with them we have not had a single scorpion in the house for three months. Also, they are less expensive and no contract!

I just called them today they had the best price in town. So when they come by Monday I will leave another review but the hunter I spoke with was amazing and answered every question I had. I'm only gonna rate 3 stars until Monday!!

This business is a scam. They make you sing up for a subscription program they never tell you when they are coming so you can make sure they have access or be home. Then they send a $70 bill to collections cause they don't deserve to get paid for not doing their job.

We can not recommend Blue Sky enough and are bummed that they only operate in Arizona. It was easy to open an account and they got a technician out right away (who we loved working with). Every interaction we've had with both our technician and the office has been professional and simple. Never felt like we were being sold on a bad deal and we've always been happy with the level of service provided.

This pest company is very deceptive.   When I signed up they said the initial service was $116 and there was a follow up visit 30 days later no charge and there was a $49 discount.  If I cancelled service I no would have to pay the $49.  They're service was ok, but I found I could go to bug and weed Mart and do it so much cheaper and just as good.  So I called to cancel and they said I owe a monthly service and $49 totally $215.  There was never a monthly service done but that didn't matter.  They will send me to collection if I don't pay.  Very deceptive!!!

Scam.  Big scam.  Originally quoted one amount, then upped it to another amount, THEN after calling to cancel since they are charging 3 times as much they have the nerve to charge $50 to cancel.  AVOID THIS COMPANY.

They scam you into writing a one year contract of having 6 services needed to be completed within a year span. I moved out of my house and am now renting it. After having 5 out of the 6 treatments done, Blue Sky still expects you to pay for the last service despite not even living in the house anymore, and despite them not even having performed the last service at all. Why should I pay for a service I'm not in need of? Also, we still had a scorpion issue despite the house being sprayed for an entire year. While I understand this is Arizona and we live in the desert, I do not think I should constantly have to wear shoes in my house, nor have to be checking my bed sheets every single night when I know other services offer better protection. Anytime we went into our backyard with our black light, we would always find them on the back brick wall, or trying to crawl under our door cracks. They would also fall through our light fixtures in our bedroom s upstairs. These are the places they supposedly spray the most, yet it didn't affect the scorpions from hanging out in these spots at all. *Thumbs down.*

I love how professional, speedy, and efficient this company is.   The product that they use is strong for everything except fleas.   I've found dead scorpions, bugs and even flies.   Four stars because they need to improve the formula for fleas.    Thank you!

Ended up with termites so I gave Blue Sky a call last week.  The came out to inspect the house a few days later and showed me where the problems were.  They were very thorough and walked me through the treatment process.  They were able to schedule service for a few days later and George came out to my house to work their bug-killing magic.  He was amazingly knowledgeable and pointed out what may become other concerns that I need to look into.  Now I just sit back and wait for these wood-eatin bastards to die. Great experience & would definitely recommend.

My parents have been using Blue Sky for over 10 years, so it made sense to use them with my family in our new home. We have a new build in a neighborhood with a lot more new builds coming up, so the bug traffic is larger than normal. Not only on the first visit did we get amazing service that was thorough by Daniel, but when we had an increase in the insect traffic a couple weeks later due to construction again, they sent someone out next day! When Anthony arrived he assessed the home and areas where the traffic was the highest and most likely to be issues, then treated the areas well. He called me to update me right away and give me peace of mind about why the insects were coming so much, plus how to handle future possible concerns with them. I have never been so happy with the customer service on both occasions and am very glad I choose this company to service our new home! Thank you Daniel, Anthony and Blue Sky!

I inquired with Gabe on a one time treatment and they demand you sign up for a yearly contract. If you cancel yearly contract, you have to pay blue sky $49. They won't let you schedule one time treatments without buying into their yearly contracts. Scam artists.

One of the first things I do when moving into a new home is establish a pest control schedule. I have an unreasonable fear of harmless bugs (not afraid of spiders or scorpions, etc.) and will sit awake all night if I hear a cricket serenading the dark.

Tennessee has some of the biggest bugs I've ever seen. And there are millions of them. So, I went to the local hardware store to buy a jug of bug spray to treat the perimeter of my home with. The jug had a big picture of bugs on it so I had to buy a roll of duct tape first and ask some random guy to tape over the picture so I could take the jug to the checkout clerk and pay for it. I'm that crazy. When I was once held hostage in my car for 37 minutes because a huge bug was on my front screen, I decided I needed a professional. I found one that used pet-safe,  chemical free products and have been pretty determined to continue that trend when I moved to Arizona.  That's how I found Blue Sky.

We used Blue Sky for several months and, while the bug population seemed under control (mind you, it was winter) I never found any dead bugs in or around my home after a treatment like I had with other exterminators. I also found Blue Sky to be so unreliable I just couldn't continue business with them. And, they're EXPENSIVE! I tolerated the high fees because I want pet-safe products but Blue Sky kind of pushes the price a little too high, in my opinion. Since I need them to spray inside the house, I try to arrange their visits on days that I work from home, which is often. However, they often did not arrive when they said they would, cancelled and had to reschedule, and they routinely do not call ahead. The last straw was when I REALLY needed them to spray inside the house and made this clear when I scheduled my appointment for a treatment. They arrived way before the scheduled time. I could have come home - I only work two miles away - but they hadn't called to say they'd be early and so they just treated the outside (and charged me for it) and left the bill under my door mat. I wasn't happy with that - the whole idea was for them to treat the INSIDE. Since this was probably the third or fourth time we had trouble with scheduling them, I had had enough.

Sorry Blue Sky - you are not the company for me.

Had Mr. Ryan W. come out and treat our house in Tempe for rats. Friendly and professional guy who knew what to do. Would highly recommend Blue Sky. Professional company 10/10.

Since writing this review, we've had another local pest control company out to spray our house and property.  It's been just over 24 hours and I see dead bugs everywhere!  I don't remember seeing anything other than some dead ants in our pool after Blue Sky was out.  I'm sorry, but still a 1 star.

I am very impressed with Blue Sky Pest Control - far more than with any of the other firms I've used over the years.

My house is five years old and so it was time to have it re-treated for termites. I called Blue SKy for that and at the same signed up for a year of bi-monthly pest control treatments.  I'v now had my third interaction with Blue Sky techs and I am very pleased. They are knowledgable, friendly, and responsive.  

Even my wife made the same comment.  She is the one who had most of the interactions with the previous pest control firms and made the same comment that Blue Sky seems to be a heck of a lot better than any of the others.

I needed to get a letter of inspection for a home refinance and based on the feedback here, I decided to contact Blue Sky for that purpose.  The inspector that came was prompt, but her appearance was unprofessional and she looked disheveled.  She did the inspection and when she was completed, informed me she had found signs of termites and treatment would be required.  She showed me what she found and then discovered another area she originally missed apparently and needed me to re-sign her document.  Her personality was such that I asked her to leave abruptly and informed others at the company what had transpired. I insisted that I would need another person to work with for treatment and re-inspection.  I sat on hold for 10 minutes and decided to look elsewhere for treatment and re-inspection.  I was not impressed with the customer service and will not be using or recommending this company to anyone I know needing this type of service.

We switched to Blue Sky last summer and my husband & I have been so happy with their service, friendly attitude, and knowledge of their craft.  We have been homeowners in Phoenix for over 30 years and I have never had such a GREAT exterminator.  Nathan is wonderful, friendly, thorough, cheerful, responsible and when they say the window is between 3 and 5, its nice to see that he comes closer to 3 than 5, which is never the case with most services.  Thanks, Nathan.

While the technicians were friendly enough, the customer service and the head office leaves a great deal to be desired. They were inconsistent in scheduling, failed to show up for multiple appointments, showed up on the wrong day or at the wrong time, sprayed half the yard and charged us full price, and after 2 years of treatments we still have a roach problem. My wife and I were more than patient, but after the last time we cleaned out our cabinets and waited all day for a technician to show up, only to have him show up unannounced 2 days later, we have had enough. I am not a difficult customer to please, but Blue Sky failed in every phase of our business interaction except the part where they took our money.

I lived in an older apartment building in downtown phoenix on the ground floor. I was always surprised how few spiders and bugs made their way into my apt. A friend of mine lived in a 3rd floor apt in the complex (newer) across the street and got everything from scorpions to earwigs in his place weekly. Blue Sky handled all of the pest control in my building. I would see them come through and do their thing and actually chatted with the super friendly technician one time. I know they used chemicals, but even on the first floor, I never smelled any toxic fumes or anything. When I asked the tech about that (and made sure it was safe to leave my windows open) he said that the pest control chemicals you buy at Target are levels more toxic than anything they use. He said the only concern with leaving the windows open was to double check that I had a good seal around the screen and of course to make sure the screen had no holes for bugs to get in through.
