Had our water heater stop working so I contacted them through Yelp and they got back to us right away, and came out the next day. He got the water heater started, but we decided to replace it with a tankless one because who knows the next time it would die.

He came back out a few days later and put in a tankless water heater that has worked out great!

Worked out perfect --- they got our old one limping along long enough to replace it, so we were only out of hot water for less than a day.

Super nice, straightforward, competitive pricing, informative, etc., definitely recommend working with them.

Extremely overpriced. I admittedly haven't used their services but was quoted $450 for replacing a toilet shut off valve on CPVC pipe. It's an hour long job at most. I did it myself in 45 minutes.

They may be good at what they do, but the prices are not even worth finding that out.

I made an appointment for this company to come out and fix our toilet two days ago. They said they would be here between 10 and 2. 3:00 came and no one had shown up or called. I called them and they said that the appointment had been made and canceled the same day. I never canceled it. Someone screwed up on their end. There was no apology and they didn't seem to care that we had spent the better part of the day waiting for them. Lousy attitude and very poor customer service. Don't recommend them at all.

I have worked with ZesBro a few times now. They replaced our bathroom sinks, and fixed a leaky toilet. They are on time, professional and they do not charge to come out for an estimate. When I was calling around I could not believe the number of places that charge just to come out and diagnose the issue. That alone bothers me. But I don't feel ZesBro is money hungry or at least they don't act like it. Totally understand they are running a business but it's nice to work with folks who focus on doing quality work as opposed to getting dem dollas.

I was able to get an appt quickly and I appreciated that. I asked what the charge would be and I was told that I would find out the day of. The plumber, very polite, opened the ceiling and found the leak. Could he fix it that day? No. The charge: $259
To come back and finish the work (which he stated would take no more than 2 hours) would be an additional $880. I asked why so much? I was told there are flat rates (which of course they don't tell you about over the phone).
The phone number on the techs card wasn't correct either.
Too expensive and not upfront about charges.
They could have given me an estimate. I felt taken advantage of. Decided to go elsewhere.

I don't know where to start with this review in all honesty.

They displayed some of the most unprofessional behavior I've ever experienced. The man who came out to assess the issue made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He is not someone I want back in my home.

I don't appreciate being a female alone in my house with an angry man who's a stranger.

Upon arrival he was very agitated, angry, and rude. Things went downhill from there, as I had to interact with him more.

The issue that he needed to fix is some shelving had been put in the garage incorrectly. We have been meaning to remove it but haven't yet. Well it turns out that the person who put in the shelving had put a nail throw a pipe and it'd finally rusted.

The house I live in is a rental. My landlord had told me he wanted the plumber to contact him directly before any repairs.
The plumber said he needed to call his company and asked me to call my landlord.

Instead I called my husband as he had spoken with the plumber and the landlord about this issue. As, originally, he was going to be home for the plumber but then couldn't. My husband had confirmed the landlord had told the plumber to directly call him. I told the plumber this.

He yelled at me that he already had and can't wait around all day.
Which is ridiculous because I had heard him on the phone with the company or someone beforehand so he could've only called maybe a minute prior. I know time is money but there is a professional way to handle things: 1. Don't raise your voice 2. There are a million more professional ways to word that.

He then in an accusatory way asked if I had put up the shelving. His tone implying you idiot why'd you do this.

We did not put in the shelving and nor did my landlord.

My landlord then called the plumber. The plumber spoke to him in an aggressive, rude, belittling way. Almost as how a fed-up parent who isn't great at parenting would talk to a child.

I could hear my landlords voice and it sounded calm the whole time.
The plumber also accused my landlord of the nail in the same disrespectful manner. Which I don't really understand why he cares, maybe it makes him happy to shame other people for mistakes? Who knows? Again, it is fine to address the issue but be professional about it.

Anyway, the plumber and my landlord are on the phone. I can hear my landlord saying he is going to go with someone else for the job.

The plumber raises his voice saying gooood luuuuuck finding anyone else.

Which I don't really get because there are a million plumbers out there but okay?

He then turns to me and all he says is okay angrily. Then he stormed off and sat in his van in my driveway for 10 minutes before leaving.

It's my first yelp review. I'm usually a lazy person and don't give critical review. But the work Zesbro plumbing did for me is totally a mess, it's even not up to code. Besides, ZesBro was acquired by Ally plumbing, the owner has changed. They take the brand and phone number ,but they are not responsible for previous jobs ZesBro did. So be careful!

Here's my experience:
Zesbro plumbing did a job for me on 2017.1 (I kept the invoice). Recently I replaced a new water heater and inspector pointed out the work ZesBro plumbing did wasn't aligned with the code. I called ZesBro and asked for help, the customer service told me the owner closed business and transferred brand/phone number. They're not responsible for my case. I even have to find a new plumber to fix the mess.

At first I had a bad experience which seems to have been due to a new guy that made a series of mistakes, but Andrew (one of the co-owners) at Allied Plumbing made things right.

Best part was that he was very professional about the whole thing and took responsibility to resolve the problem immediately (after 5:00 PM on Friday) didn't charge me anything to get my 2 hot water heaters working again.

Stuff happens but it's how you deal with it when things go wrong that matters the most. So many businesses these days just blame the customer and do nothing to make things right, so standing behind your company is worth 4 stars to me. 5 stars is for never having a problem in the first place.

Holy Hannah! This company is the epitome of family owned and operated; professional, honest and awesome. Chriss came out to look at our 50s house plumbing problem. We had water backing up in our kitchen and laundry area. We had high hopes a simple snake job would work. He tried three different outlets, no dice. Then we moved on to the jet water snake. More water back up! Oh no! So to the crawl space (literally) Chriss went!

And he came back with bad news. We needed to have the pipes replaced as they were smaller diameter than needed and there was a large clog, too.

He called two coworkers (and close friends because everyone in this company, if they aren't blood, they are still family), Caleb and Kena, and the two of them dropped what they were doing after hours and came to help.

So while it was the worst possible outcome, it was the best experience with a plumbing company. If I could give 10 stars I would!

I had a leaky sink that tightening didn't seem to fix. I called on Monday, and they were able to send someone out on Wednesday 11/22, the day before Thanksgiving.

Chris arrived right on time and quickly got to work. He was friendly and professional. After taking a look at the sink, he said he thinks that tightening the very top nut (that I didn't even see) would be enough to fix the leak. He did so in 5 minutes, ran water for a couple of minutes to verify the leak was fixed, and then was done! Since the job was simple, he didn't even charge me.

My experience was great, and I'll be sure to use ZesBro again if I ever have another plumbing issue.

Quick note...not ZesBro anymore...Zezbro along with my other go to drain cleaner (Fritz's) have been acquired by Ally plumbing. I had them to do drain work and were twice as expensive than Fritz was.

I forgot to write an update! I used Zesbro again in Aug 2015 to replace my water heater in my condo. Unfortunately I got the call over the weekend and finding someone to come out in a reasonable amount of time to address it was really hard! I contacted a few companies and didn't get very many responses. Zesbro was there to save the day again!

Installed the new water heater with drip pan and earthquake strap, removed the old water heater and cleaned up everything. They are awesome! Thanks again Zesbro! I'll definitely come back when I need your services again!

Monday before thanksgiving, and we have a leak near our water main. Of course.

The plumber we usually call was booked up. I called ZesBro at 9am. They had Petroso (sp?) the plumber here by 10:30 on-the-dot. He assessed the situation efficiently, kept me informed throughout the process, cleaned up after himself, and was super nice through the whole thing. I would definitely use ZesBro again based on this experience.

Seriously this Man has a special place in Heaven. Jimmy answered the phone on the 2nd ring at 8:30pm at night. He siad he would be here in 40 min but was here in 20. My Husband was gone and I just happened to check our furnace room and found the water tank was leaking. He said it was a good thing I opened that door b/c the whole thing was close to blowing and being a real hazard. It had been working overtime for a long time...even leaking outside.

DO NOT HIRE! They don't train their receptionists for the business to relay the details of a plumbing situation and they don't have the plumber contact you way ahead of time get the details and to let you know if they need access to units additionally affected by a leak so that things can be arranged. They tell you this when they show up, then if things aren't the way they need they can't do their work, and then they don't try to accomodate the customer for their mistake by paying a guy OT or the owner working on a Sunday. Horrible Customer Service!!! Very inconveniencing when booked a week ahead and other teams and people are affected to do their work!!!

Horrible service and attitude! The guy came in unprepared, with no parts in his truck. Taking advantage of my own parts in my house and installed the valve, but did not tell me that doesn't have any warranty. Didn't fix the problem, leaving the water ice line disconnected, so nothing works at the end. He kept saying he will come back tomorrow to repair the water line but will charge more. Extremely high pricing on terrible service. Would never recommend them to anyone, and never use them again.

I will DEFINENTLY be using ZesBro plumbing the next time i have an issue in my house.

Everyone I talked to was friendly and helpful and wanted to get my situation taken care of as quickly as possible. We had a couple of scheduling snafus but Jeff got me squared away on the phone and it was really nothing too out of the normal for any plumber you may hire (the -1 star is ONLY for having to check in towards the end of my time frame i was given to make sure my plumber was still going to make it, which he did but about 30 minutes past the window i was specified. Not that big of a deal in my eyes).

You are set up with a time frame that they can make it out during and will call when they're on their way. My time frame for example was 4pm to 8pm. This means you could be waiting for a few hours for them to arrive depending on how big the previous job was or they could show up 30 minutes in and be done before your slotted time frame is even up. That's with most plumbers though so please keep this in mind when hiring a plumber in general (I've hired 3 or 4 various plumbers as my house was built in 1908 and has needed plenty of love and attention).

If you need a quick fix for a great price that comes with friendly customer service please call them. Thanks again guys!

Called them on a Monday, they said they could get someone here at my house, for a completely blocked kitchen sink, on about Saturday! Saturday, really? Did you hear the part about a COMPLETELY backed up Kitchen sink, where I try to make food, etc.

So, needless to say, I called someone else, who came out in an hour... It's all good now.

Phenomenal customer service. They are truly open 24/7 and will call you back immediately even at 8 am on a Sunday. We had them re-install a toilet after we got new floors and put in a new sink. Both ended up having issues one due to the old parts and the other and older line. When the leaks showed up hours after they left I called them and they had the general manager calling me at 9 pm to apologize. They were back at 8 am the next morning and all was fixed with no charge. They would have come back that night but the leak stopped once I shut off the water so it could wait. I will use them for all our future plumbing needs! Carl was fantastic.

We called ZesBro to have them review our gas line and pipe for a gas fireplace. I specifically asked if they had competencies within gas, as we had been told the gas line we had was not up to code and could potentially be a safety concern. I was told they would review the job, and then give us an estimate for any changes to the set-up. The guy who showed up was not able to communicate in English, and he had no idea about whether the existing installation was up to code or not. He then called back to the office, and the office called us to inform us they were not able to do the job or tell us if it was up to code. The guy then took off without further explanation.

Don't send out inexperienced people who don't speak English to jobs that require knowledge about what is up to code or not or at least offer to send a back up experienced and educated person who can answer what seems to be a fairly straight forward question..

So happy!! When we first moved in our house last year we had the entire place snaked by James because everything was a little clogged up from previous renters. But we fell into an issue because our bathroom sink wasn't draining at all even with the several attempts at it. I recall James working on it for a good hour on this one sink. So he gave us a quote on replacing the pipes. We hadn't called for 9 months because unfortunately my husband got laid off right after that so we waited. We used the kitchen sink in the mean time and finally got our chance to fix it. Called them just a couple days ago and Fructoso came this morning right on time. I was a little hesitant at first because James was the last one working on out pipes. But Fructoso did an AWESOME job! He worked the darn pipes and now its draining, no need for breaking any walls or replacing any pipes!! Ahhhh jumping for joy right now!

I highly recommend this company, their prices beat the other 3 plumbing companies I called for quotes and they show up on time and get the job done professionally! Thank you guys!!!

Let me pre-empt my review by saying that, if you are scanning my review and looking for words like great price or cheap! then let me save you some time....plumbers are expensive, inherently. ZesBro's prices are not unlike many other quality plumbers out there, but in an emergency, I was provided with effective, quick, and courteous service.

I was woken up around 1 am by the piercing sound of a water sensor that was placed next to my water heater. After stumbling around in a half conscious state for a couple minutes to find the source of the sound (and on the verge of taking a bat to my fire alarm) I discovered that my water heater was leaking. It took me several minutes to determine the actual source of the leak - the expansion tank that sits above the water heater itself. I shut off the water supply, then decided to get a couple hours sleep after confirming the leak stopped.

Later that morning, I found ZesBro on Yelp after seeing it had 100+ reviews and a 4.5 star rating, and felt confident that I would get good service. James picked up immediately, and was pretty much able to confirm my suspicions just from the brief description I gave him.

James stopped off quickly on the way to another job close he had close by, hence my opinion about ZesBro's quick service. He only brought the replacement part, a tool bag and his plumbing knowledge, so he seemed confident that his diagnosis was correct. 15 minutes later at my condo, he replaced the part, inspected the rest of my water heater, and did it all with a great demeanor. At the close of the service, he said Look, so I don't have to go down and come back up, just give me your email and I'll send you the bill. Very nonchalant!

The total transaction with ZesBro, from the initial call, to the service, and finally the call to pay for the invoice, took a total of 25 minutes. There are no more leaks from my water heater and associated parts, so James can chalk this up to a mission-accomplished. Thanks, ZesBro.

I bought replacement toilets from Amazon (Toto Drake II's - the best toilets on the market and saved me 40% in water usage in one month!). I was tempted to use the Amazon installation, but they wouldn't let me buy more than 3 (I had 4 builder-grade toilets replaced), so I was forced to look elsewhere. Our house was new and I was concerned that it would look like we swapped them out. James isn't the best communicator on email, but he sure knows customer service and plumbing. Since I needed 4 toilets swapped, he brought in a helper.

The two guys unboxed, staged and then replaced all 4 toilets in less than 3 hours. They wore booties or took off their shoes. Cleaned up all the boxes and took everything to recycling/dump for just a little extra. The installer spent a good deal of time cleaning and prepping each installation and even removed the promotional stickers on the tanks.

I couldn't recommend anyone more than ZesBro's plumbing. The entire process took less time and cost less than I expected. Their quote was less than Amazon's installation price and much lower than Green T (they wanted over $1100 to install all 4! and it seems they lost their license in WA state).

My husband and I are first-time homebuyers. Late on a Friday evening I returned from a business trip to find mounds of laundry and stacks of dishes awaiting me. While I was gone my husband couldn't figure out what to do, so his work-around was was showering at the gym and getting his clothes dry cleaned.

I called ZesBro on a Friday at 7pm in a panic (surrounded by stinky clothes, cold water and dirty plates) and he came out right away. Our hot water tank was at the end of its life but he made a quick fix so that I could get through the weekend.

Sunday afternoon our old trusty hot water heater took its last and final breath. But ZesBro was there bright and early Monday morning and I had amazing new tank by the end of the day.

I searched quite extensively for a good plumber at a reasonable price - if this is what you too are looking for, this is your company. Very accommodating, great attention to detail and very reasonably priced for Bellevue/Seattle. Fructoso, the plumber, is great, he's prompt and knocks it out, incredibly competent... and January in the office is a pleasure to work with. Hire them.

Update - 6/25 James came by my house and apologized personally. Totally unexpected but I really appreciate him coming out personally and also January apologizing via message a week ago. Kudos to Zesbro for taking customer service seriously. i'll give Zebros another chance! Changing the ratings to 4 stars for responsiveness to feedback.

Wow. What a difference a few months makes. I thought I had my plumber for life, but I guess I'll be looking for another.

I called James couple of months ago to install a PRV and kitchen faucet. He scheduled it on a Thu morning. He didn't show. Ok, no problem. We reschedule for the week afterwards, and no show again! But he called back and said he'll come later in the evening. James shows up with his worker and I show them what to install. Then James says he has to get something from his house, a part of something. Before I can ask him about the price, he takes off. Ok, no biggie right? He is going to charge me his standard hourly rate. After his worker finished in about an hour, his worker gave me the invoice. the labor cost is $325! WOW. Not only he no showed twice(I had to take off of work to meet him), he didn't tell me how much it costs before he left and charged way over his hourly rate!

I paid the bill but felt disgusted. Its safe to say we won't be calling Zesbro anymore unless it's to fix their work.

Called Zes Bro plumbing around 5PM as a referral from a friend for some issues I was having issues with the water system in my business, and he was busy on another job but came as soon as he could, which ended up being 8PM on a Sunday night.

If you've ever called for a contractor, having someone show up when they tell you they are is a miracle. I've once waited a full 8 hours for someone, but that's another review.

Later, I found out he drove 45 minutes out of his way for me, and they're normally closed Sundays. + 5 stars!

A friend of mine from jr.high is also a plummer, and he told me I had to wait TWO WEEKS, since it wasn't an emergency. No bueno.

Here's the deal:

Jimmy Z. is actually motivated to work efficiently, quickly get the job done, and was on time. (Being on time is a quality that I appreciate.)

He came under his estimate by $50 and gave me some options on efficiency, and to overall save money on my water bill - and I've noticed a difference.

I have now used this company a total of 3 times for both my home and business, and have recommended them to my condo homeowner's association as the preferred plummer.

I called ZesBro at 7:00pm on a Tuesday night and explained my problem to James. He asked a lot of questions and suggested that I call a septic company first. I did that the next morning and it turned to be a tank issue and not a plumbing issue.

I find it refreshing that he didn't just come out to make a quick buck and then tell me to call a septic company. I will definitely call ZesBro when I am in need of future plumbing advice or service.

Stop here...You have found your plumber.

First, scheduling was a breeze. Jimmy returned my call within 5 minutes and came out that night to look at my plumbing.

I didn't tell Jimmy this but I had another plumber look at the same thing the night before but was turned off by the Uber Sales pitch to try and completely upgrade my entire plumbing system with the other guys.

Jimmy came by on time and started work right away. We are on a septic system and Jimmy was very knowledgeable. He and his assistant (name also starts with a J as well but I forgot it) worked tirelessly and efficiently and solved my drainage problem. Everything is now working perfectly with a warranty to boot. Pricing was reasonable and they cleaned up before they left.

The reviews here are all correct. This guy is the man and I have found my plumber for life. Thanks again Jimmy Z!

The main line water pipe to our home started leaking sometime last week. When I called Zesbro for an assessment and repair, I was initially told that it would save me time and money if I contacted a leak detector first and then called them to repair the leak. When that was done, Zesbro gave me a quote over the phone and came out the same evening to fix it!!

Not only that, but despite the fact that the detector was off by about 3 feet and the pipe was 4 feet deep instead of the standard 2 (which meant alot of extra digging for Zesbro), I was not charged more than my initial estimate! James also took the time to explain to me in detail why the detector was wrong and what I could expect from the continued lifetime of my pipe.

While he was writing up the bill for services, I asked about the cost to estimate a leak that was an inconvenience, but not critical, so I hadn't followed up on having it fixed. He offered to take a look right away and determined that a faulty seal was the source of the leak and caulked it for me at no extra charge.

James and his assistant absolutely went above and beyond to take care of us today. Much appreciated!!!

An honest and high quality plumber is extremely rare and very hard to find these days! If you can find a good one, you definitely want to keep using him/her!

During our recent bath tub drain clog and stoppage problem, I googled and called several local area plumbers for estimates and bids. I saw a few of them advertised for $95 for Drain Cleaning Special and several had Online Web Special Discount Coupons ranging from $30 to $40.

The one with the $95 drain cleaning special came to my house and gave me the classic Bait-And-Switch estimate for $1,299 to replace drain pipes which we probably don't even need. Several other estimates ranging from any where between $330 (from Roto Rooter) for drain cleaning to over $1,299 for drain pipe replacement.

Then I found this consistently 5 Star Rated ZesBro Plumbing here on Yelp.com while doing a google search.

I noticed the difference as soon as I called and talked to him . He didn't even talk about price first but he actually asked me questions to try to understand my problem such as how long my bathtub had been slow draining before it stopped altogether.

When he came to give us an estimate, he was even willing to go under the crawl space under our house to give us a thorough inspection of the drain pipes before giving us a thorough and detailed estimate. Many plumbers will charge you just to do that.

He recommended replacing the trap and drain pipe to bring our drain up to date and to building code for one Low All-Inclusive price of just $300 (the best quote we have so far with 1 Year Warranty. And he even gave us a discount if we paid by cash.

Some of the other plumbers we left messages for didn't even call us back and others gave us even higher estimates for just drain cleaning / unclogging without the parts and new plumbing replacement!

James Zesati was honest, punctual, fast, efficient and professional in all respect. I will definitely would hire him again and highly recommend him looking for an affordable, honest, punctual plumber with an excellent customer service attitude.

Based on the already good ratings, I gave ZesBro a call at 10am when I had a garbage disposal clog in the kitchen sink. Jimmy was very knowledgeable with the questions I had over the phone and was able to come out to my house within 45 minutes.

He was professional and came prepared with all his tools. He was able to fix the problem in about 20 minutes and even recommended a few problems that I needed to get fixed. The service was reasonably priced and I would definitely call Jimmy again for future problems.

Everybody knows that if you have to call a plumber, it's going to cost you more than you want to pay... nobody likes to pay out for these services! That being said, I've had other plumbers come out for quotes, and Zesbro is by far the most reasonable.
This is the second time we've had Jimmy (James) out to our house to fix our clogged bathtub drain. It never takes him long to fix it, but we've seen the disgusting proof that he pulled out the rat! He's a friendly and professional guy and always has great tips to avoid future plumbing problems. This time he even had an extra drain trap in his truck that he threw in for free!
If you're going to have to pay a plumber to come out to your place, this is the guy to call. Thanks James for the fix!

I first got to know James as a past instructor of his at a local community college. I found him to be a mature, professional and very respectful student. Well after our time together in class ended, I had a bathroom not working and gave his company a call. James was efficient, diagnosed the problem effectively and got our family back on track in no time at all.

Recently, James came back out to fix a major sewage related problem in our house. I can't say enough good things about him and his company. James is a hard working, respectful, honest person who will do his best to educate the customer and provides fair rates for his services. My husband and I had been having small issues with our washer for the past month or so, but when we left the house for an hour with the dishwasher on, we were VERY surprised to see a huge puddle of water in our laundry room.

After further inspection, it seemed there was a clog in one of the pipes.

We went to Home Depot and bought a snake for about $7.00. We spent time trying to get rid of clog, but it didn't work. After a while we gave up, and I looked for a plumber here on Yelp.

I found Zesbro on Yelp and decided to give him a call based on the recommendations. I initially gave Zesbro a call on Sunday night. An hour and a half later, I got a call back. He agreed to come on Monday at about 5PM.

The worker (husband forgot his name) came on time, was very professional, and even took off his shoes. *huge PLUS in my home* The worker managed to fix the problem in about 20 minutes and gave us a decent deal.

I would definitely hire Zesbro again. Thanks again for the speedy service.

The very old house I rent probably hadn't had the plumbing looked at in years, and we started having backup problems. I called ZesBro and set up an appointment for a couple days letter. Later that day I got a call saying they could come by even sooner - perfect. James came by exactly on time, unlike many service professionals who are often an hour late, and immediately knew what the problem was. The sewage clog was a bad one, and it took a lot of time and effort to fix, but he did it, and even gave me a discount because I found him on Yelp.

First of all I should have written this 5 star review a few months ago when we used them for our apartment building. Our contractor friend sent his guy out with my husband to repair some debris caught in the mainline. After 8 hours the guy gave up leaving my poor husband waist deep in a muddy ditch. Our tenants still did not have water and we started to panic. Called Roto Rooter and they threw a price of $1500 out there to fix the problem. That's when I got onto Yelp and found Zesbro Plumbing. James was calm, caring and came out to Seattle even though it was 8pm at night with no notice! He fixed the problem by 10pm and for less than $300.

On Saturday, September 8 I was getting ready to go to work at around 5:30 am and discovered about a gallon of water on my kitchen floor. The water was leaking steadily down from the second floor through the ceiling via a canister light. After running around for about 20 minutes trying to figure out where the water was coming from and with no luck I headed to the computer and Yelp to try to find a plumber on a Saturday at 6 am. I called four plumbers listed on Yelp before I called Zesbro Plumbing. I received a response very quickly from James. He asked several questions, recommended some things to do to stop the leaking and stated the time he would be out. He had received an emergency call early in the morning so he was unable to come out to the house until between noon and 1:00 pm. However, at that point the water had slowed to a trickle so we figured we could wait.

Shortly before James arrival at the house we finally figured out where the problem was. Our washer had filled with water and the water was leaking out the open door right over the floor threshold, which was dripping down into the kitchen. About the time we figured it out James showed up as promised, on time, looking professional and ready to take on any plumbing issue. We proceeded to tell him what happened, he asked a couple of questions, made some suggestions and wished us a good day. We asked if he wanted payment for the trip out and he stated no (when is the last time that has happened to you, because it has never happened to me).

Any future plumbing problems we encounter we will call James and Zesbro's. It is really nice to encounter someone who is professional and positive and is interested in the customer. Thank you James!

Even though we've only used him few times, we call James our plumber since we don't consider using anyone else anymore. I may be biased since he's in our area and he's been really nice to stop by on his way home to look at a problem.

His work for us has included replacing a sink faucet and the plumbing underneath (sink trap, etc.) and dealing with an emergency flooding situation from our dishwasher--a job which the first plumber who installed it had apparently botched. He also pointed out a safety issue with our garbage disposal while he was down there. He said it would be simple for us to fix and told us how, but was also willing to come back at a later date if we couldn't figure it out. He's always super polite, price is fair, and cleans up his work well afterwards.

My significant other had been fixing his own leaking kitchen sink for years. Other people in his condo shared the same problems since they all had the same type of plumbing when the condo was built. Anyways, I was glad when he finally asked me to help him find a good plumber.

Jimmy arrived and fixed the problem without having to replace the whole kitchen sink plumbing unit. He even checked out the dish washing machine to make sure everything was okay. He gave us useful information as to what brands to buy and what kind of problems to watch out for. He was very polite, well-dressed, prepared, organized, professional and knowledgable. He had a great sense of humor and good manners.

I highly recommend ZesBro and Jimmy for your plumbing needs. Hopefully, I won't need to call him again, but I will if I have to.

I picked James based on the strength of the ZesBro Yelp rating. At the time, there weren't that many reviews, so I felt I was taking a bit of a risk.

That time has passed. James has proven to be competent not just as a plumber, but as an effective and caring professional. He's enthusiastic about the job, and had made every attempt to schedule me in quickly. He quotes reasonably, and sticks to what he quotes.

A couple Fridays ago, I called him late in the morning to hook up a couple sinks in my office. I told him we needed them done quickly, as there was an event at 7pm. He showed up later in the afternoon. When the job proved to be bigger than he had estimated, he went into overdrive, rushing around town to get the right parts and get the job done. Sure enough, he was done before 7. Even with the extra work, he charged what he had estimated on the phone.

I read elsewhere on here that he's been around for 8 years. My only complaint is that I didn't know about him sooner!

First time home owner and we had some backup in our toilet and bathtub. We had our septic pumped a couple days prior to the clogging of our pipes so we called up Zesbro to find out what they could do. On the phone James was very courteous and assessed what the problem might be. Apparently our mainline was clogged and he would have to snake out the blockage. We were given an estimate of how much the work would be and what time he could be at our place. James was on the ball with keeping us up to speed with his ETA (he was arriving around rush hour) and was accurate with his assessment over the phone. He even came out on his anniversary of all days!
Work was all said and done in under 45 min and James even took the time to educate us on how to avoid future complications with our drains. What a nice guy!

I would go through Zesbro for any work in the future and highly recommend for anyone looking to get honest work done

I was hoping to give a 5 star review if my drainage system problem was fixed or if not ZesBro's warranty means anything, but after 3 months my rain water drainage system is still clogged.

Rain water started backflowing from one of the gutter downspouts in July. I called ZesBros Plumbing and they came water-jetting it, and claimed it fixed and charged $350 for an hour of work. James was very polite and nice enough to fix a leaking faucet without extra charge. I felt $350 was a high but was happy the issue was fixed with a warranty for a year.

During the recent heavy rain in September I noticed that it is still clogged. I called ZesBros expecting them to come back and fix the problem. They indeed came the same day, but without the water jetting tools! He looked around and claimed that the clog was further downstream and not covered by the warranty. He will need to come back for another appointment and start the ridiculous first hour rate again!

I did more research into the problem and found out that if I put water through garden hose long enough in July (so it fills in the entire perimeter drainage system), I could have known that the issue was not fixed.

I also pulled out the document from my city which showed that ZesBro's description of my drainage system was wrong. They were basically looking at a wasted well that was part of the old system (replaced in 95).

As a comparison, another company came today and after 30 min try they honestly told me that they do not have the right tools to fix the problem. They left without any charge.

Called them at 8:30 a.m. because of a broken water main. The woman who answered the phone gave me the best possible response, Let me see if I can rearrange a couple of things and get someone out to you right away. Fructosa was there by 10 a.m. and we had water within a couple hours. Polite, professional, and fast. I really don't know how they compare from a cost standpoint, and the invoice wasn't itemized, but it ended up close to the range I had in my head.

Simply amazing. Clean (plumber, clean? Yes!) hard-working & HONEST

We've used Zesbro Plumbing twice now. Our first experience was during hours in which he doesn't work, yet he took the time and drive out to Bellevue to help us when everyone else wanted to charge an outrageous emergency fee. The main line needed to be snaked or whatever they call it, and he advised us what the issue was and instead of making a giant deal about it making it sound like it urgently needed the multi-thousand dollar fix, he was very honest and to-the-point. When the time comes to address it, we most certainly will call Zesbro!

The second experience was for a leak from our water heater which caused our hardwood floors to buckle :( The water leaked behind where it wasn't visible, soaking the sub-floor. Again, he explained that even though our water heater was outdated, he didn't exaggerate it or anything. He gave us great tips on dealing with the floor. We plan on bringing him back for the new tankless water heater installation and look forward to his quick, thorough work and great attitude!

Excellent, professional and reliable plumbing services.

Two of the toilets in my home were running and needed the insides of the upper tanks to be replaced. I eventually used Yelp to look up a plumber. The reviews for ZesBro Plumbing are definitely accurate.

I was able to get an appointment scheduled quickly (within 2 days of making the call). I would just recommend double checking to make sure they write your information correctly though since whoever scheduled my appointment had my name and number down incorrectly. Thus, James (the plumber) was not able to call me beforehand but luckily, he found my place with no problems and came on time, so it wasn't a big deal at all.

James was very friendly and did not try to sell me anything I didn't need which I really appreciated considering when I initially called South West Plumbing, they sent two guys over for a simple running toilet issue and even tried selling me a new, unnecessary $500 toilet (did not use them at all because of that).

James was finished within an hour (he didn't waste any time) and his rates for labor and parts are very reasonable (currently $90 per hour of labor plus parts; parts only cost me about $60 for the two toilets). He was even able to save the toilet flusher handles as requested by me (I didn't want to replace them since they match the rest of the metal trimmings in the bathroom). James was also even able to help me with another issue - my dishwasher was loose and needed to be re-drilled in to be secured in place, which he did free of charge (really nice of him to do so).

This was my first time using ZesBro Plumbing and I will certainly use them again for any future plumbing needs. Thank you, James!

Outstanding service. Caleb, our technician was as good as it gets. He gave us a heads up call prior to his arrival and arrived exactly within the time he stated. As a first time homeowner in a development, I did not know where the city valve to shut off our water was located, but with his help was able to locate it (several yards away in a place I would have never thought to look). I was amazed at how quickly he completed the two repairs: bathroom sink hot water handle that leaked when open as well as the tub faucet that perpetually dripped. He even alerted us to the type of piping used in our home currently that could become a problem in the future. Finally, he offered us his personal cell to call with questions anytime and offered to walk us through minor repairs/diagnostics over the phone. Friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, and willing to help personally...can't ask for anything more. I know who my go-to guy is for plumbing.

My sink wouldn't drain at all. I tried using a plumber's auger to fix the problem but it didn't work. After several hours of trying to fix the problem I gave up and did a search for a plumber. I saw ZesBro's ratings were awesome so I decided to give them a try.

I would sincerely recommend to avoid this guy if possible.

Pros:
- Identified and fixed the problem in about 1.5 hours.(but the problem reappeared)

Cons:
- Charged me $425 for 1.5 hours, it's like $284/hour (even though our original agreement was $130/hour). His claim was he was the fastest plumber in Seattle and any other plumber would spend double time for the same work.
- Charged me $54 for a $6.99 parts in Home Depot.
- The problem came back in 2 weeks and I had to call another plumber to fix it.
- Had to reschedule the appointment twice as he did not show up the first time.
- Did not cleanup the messes he created.

Wow! I find it very interesting that James would consult a lawyer who thinks it is slander and requests that I remove my very heart felt previous review. That is absolutely not going to happen! I did call plenty of times and left plenty of messages to no avail!

James states that I did not call back. Then writes, that he received, maybe a call but (I) left no voice mail.

He does although admit that his company had intermediate (faulty= intermittent) phone service for a week.

Well, I guess it never dawned on James to apologize for having had faulty phone service for a week that may have caused him to miss my many calls and messages. I guess it never dawned on James to act like a professional.

Instead, he further erodes my already horrific opinion of his company by trying to bully me by contacting a lawyer and requesting that I remove my review.

We had a leaking pipe in our townhouse and it got our basement storage area wet. I normally have a friend who does my plumbing because it's someone I could trust. On this occasion he was not available and I needed someone fast. I found Zesbro Plumbing on yelp and decided to go with them from all the positive reviews.

I called Zesbro Plumbing really early in the morning and left a message on their voicemail. James called me back within 30 minutes and asked a few questions and said he'd be at my house between 11 and 12. James showed up as promised, took a look at my leaking pipe and quoted me a price on the spot.

I told him to go ahead with the work and he was finished in about 1.5 hours. A 90 degree CPVC elbow had failed and was the cause of the leak. I'm a do it yourself kind of guy and the scope of this problem was out of my comfort zone. James did a great job, great customer service, treats your house with respect and very fair with his pricing. If you need a plumber in your area look up Zesbro Plumbing, I highly recommend their services.

I called ZesBro in the late morning after a long holiday weekend - I chose them because of all the positive yelp reviews. I was very pleased they managed to squeeze me in on the same day even though they were obviously very busy and it was a non-emergency. James the plumber who showed up did an awesome job - called ahead to say he was coming, showed up on time, did the job efficiently, and cleaned up after himself.

I'm a female first time homeowner and anytime something comes up, I worry I'll be charged more than necessary for a job just because I don't know any better. ZesBro prices were very reasonable.

Bottom line is I would call them again if I needed a plumber and I would recommend them to all my friends.

I am very happy with the service: fast (same day), efficient, courteous, clean. James was very observant when working, being quick to clean up anything around him and very cautious when moving equipment.

He called to confirm the appointment, called again to say he'd been slightly delayed and gave a new ETA, and then called again when he was 10 minutes out. He arrived at the door in slippers, shoes in hand. When I thanked him for coming, he said, No, thank you for choosing us for the work! When was the last time you heard that?

He provided a rough estimate of basic charges over the phone with the obvious proviso that it could change if the work was more extensive. In fact, it was more extensive and he explained what was going on every step of the way. He worked intensely for several hours. The bill was pleasantly well within expectations for such a job. He cleaned up very well after the job and thanked me again for choosing him for the work. He also pointed out that his work came with a 1 year warranty. He gave helpful suggestions on how to avoid a similar problem in the future.

i would definitely choose him again for future work. I was very pleased.

i was hoping to be able to write a 5 star review based on the previous Yelp reviews. However for the third consecutive week James did NOT show up to replace our electric water heater. The first time he said he was ill and had misplaced the appointment in his cell phone? Last Thursday he did call and said his equipment was 'stuck at the work site of an earlier job. So we re-scheduled for 11 am today. No james. No call. I called at about 4 pm and he did call back-he seemed not to know who i was and said his vehicle was having maintenance and he could not get out here. I told him a call would have been nice and he did say he was sorry.

So still no new water heater. Ihave contacted another plumbing outfit and hopefully they will show up. If someone does not want to do a job i prefer they tell me and not string me along. James was polite and for that he deserves a star.I assume his work is excellent-im sorry i never got to use it.

It's been a while since I've written a five star review, but ZesBro Plumbing definitely deserves one. Overall, the price, work, and customer service was outstanding. I needed a water heater replaced on a trailer and Zesbro did all the research and picked up most of the parts for the job. When our plumber, Fructoso, got there, the replacement heater we picked up was not right size, but he was willing to wait for me to drive to West Seattle to pick up a new one and bring it back. The job took a couple hours longer than I expected (mostly due to my fault), so I was thinking they would up the price from their original quote, but nope, it was still right on. Again, Zesbro Plumbing did a great job and I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

So a tip for anyone looking for a plumber - low cost may not always be the best option!

In planning our bathroom remodel we shopped out our plumbing to several vendors, large and small and most came in between $5k-10k. Zesbro gave the lowest quote of them all so we were going to work with them.... But buyer beware.

It's hard to rate Zesbro on their actual work because we were not actually able to see the work through... After setting up the appointment, it took significant effort just to obtain their insurance and bond information.

In terms of communication, even as a small outfit they're terrible!!!

The other services you call, after only a few rings they answer and can either work with you on the spot or can call you back in 15-20 minutes. With Zesbro it took several calls to the office and James's direct cell phone to even reach them to set up our appointment. To make things worse, it took another 5-10 calls to get someone to take our call so we could obtain their insurance information (which should have been provided as part of the standard quotation package as should a service contract). And after it all when asked to provide a copy of the plumber's certification within certain deadlines, they couldn't even do that and didn't even call to let us know that they would be late or try and explain. I would expect this information to be on file as it's commonly requested for verification. They did provide us with a loose quote but couldn't provide a service contract and to top it all off it wasn't until it was asked for that James identified that his license was 2 months expired.

Needless to say we chose to find someone else that has their affairs in order and can adequately communicate.

If you want a company that does great work Zesbro may still be a good option from what I've read, but in terms of communication and ability to provide the data you want and need and meet deadlines, they're second rate and you can find much better.

Zesbro are fantastic! During one of our recent cold snaps we had one of our outdoor faucets break and start leaking. I called them after 5PM, and they got someone to our house by 6, didn't charge us an after hours fee, and they guy even had some salvaged part from a previous job that was able to fix our problem and reduce our costs. This company is dependable, cares about it's customers, and seem very trustworthy. Definitely give them a shot.

My husband decided to empty the entire fridge into our garbage disposal. We had just moved in and he wanted to test to see how powerful it was. I called ZesBro Plumbing after my first plumber was a no-show after returning back from vacation to find a house with frozen pipes and no running water. Customer service was GREAT from the minute I got on the phone. The receptionist was personable and offered me some suggestions on what to do in the meantime while she gave me the number to James for additional suggestions and scheduling. James offered some wonderful tips and said the first thing I should really do is contact the City to see if they could take a look at my water meter to see if that was the issue. I did as he said and found out that the water meter was frozen so I ended up not needing ZesBro's services at all! Their candidness and honesty is truly stellar. Even though we ended up not needing them, I would use them in a heartbeat if I have plumbing concerns in the future!

Edit - 01/24 Got another call from James about my review. Seems like they take Yelp reviews and customer satisfaction seriously! Ha! He explained his situation yesterday for pushing our scheduled appointment out and I understood. On the flip side, my tenants are without use of water since Saturday (I only called these guys on Sunday because I was trying to reach another plumbing service) and so time out of service was getting too long for my tenants regardless of why. I'm bumping this to 4 stars based on James caring about his company's reputation enough to reach out to me. I will note that I did not take any form of discount or anything to change my rating (though it was offered) as his job was done in a timely manner once he got there.

Our rental house in Kennydale had some minor flooding from some pipes backing up last week, probably due to snow and then subsequent melting. Called Zesbros on Sunday afternoon based on reviews after I tried calling Green T a couple times (no answer there, though). Spoke with James and gave him the rundown on what's going on. He gave me some speculation on what it might be and set my expectations (running a snake might not fix issue, etc...). I scheduled him to come out on Monday afternoon. Got a call that Monday morning from James saying he had an emergency job to do and wanted to reschedule for later in the afternoon. I gave my tenants the heads up. James ended up pushing it out til Tuesday morning but his communication of the delays to me was good. Spoke to my tenants this morning and James was there first thing. Got it squared away in about an hour or so. Price was fair and good communication. I'd have given him another star if this emergency hadn't bumped us. I'll use these guys again if the chance comes up to give them a shot at earning another couple stars.

I just cannot rave enough about James at ZesBro plumbing-after he left I knew I had to shout from the rooftops that Hurray, I found a plumbing contractor who was reliable, efficient, respectful, and reasonably priced. I sent him an email on a Friday night, not expecting any communication until Monday, but back and forth we wrote right then, and I got a quote by 11pm (!). On the day of our appointment at 1 pm, he called at 1:05 to tell me his GPS put him at my house at 1:22. VERY PROFESSIONAL. He took great care to lay towels where he stepped and advised me on a project I want to do in the future. VERY GENEROUS. Please support this business-there are a lot of toads out there. James has strong character.

Not to mention I was able to get hold of him for a diagnosis right away and he was able to address the issue there and then.

Great plumber! Never had to call a plumber before but one of our bathroom sicks was not draining at all this evening and our efforts to unclog it were not working. I looked online for a plumber that would come out in the early evening and Zesbro plumbing appeared on yelp as one of the most popular. I called and spoke with James and he was clear with the price and advised he could be at our place in about 30 min. He was on time and had our sink cleared up within 10 minutes. He even snaked out our other bathroom sink at no additional charge. They both work great now! He was very friendly and even liked our dog. The price appeared reasonable for someone to come out at 6pm to snake out a sink. I will keep this place in my contact list if I ever need a plumber again.

I don't usually write reviews, but i have been price gauged by plumbers in the past. I had an emergency service call on a Sunday for a leaking garbage disposal in a condo. Very impressed with the quality service and fair pricing. They will actually give you a quote over the phone where as others will not do this. Instead, they say
they charge by the job, such as southwest plumbing. Then when they come out you are looking at a huge bill.

Plumber did a great job. Fixed the issue (clogged bathtub) in about 15-20 minutes. Then his boss came by to do the bill and paperwork. This is where it went from good to great. Through the boss I got much explanation of the real problem and how to keep the clog (that has been recurring) from happening again. Wow, what a great company! I work up with a broken garbage disposal. I called 3 plumbers at 6:30 in the morning. ZesBro was the only of the 3 companies to call me back immediately when they opened. The others hadn't even returned my call before ZesBro resolved the problem. Even better, they didn't try to sell me a new garbage disposal that I didn't need. I had a mains leak that needed fixing or replacing that had to be done urgently as I was not able to use my water at home. My regular plumber was unable to do such a large task and thus I called Zesbro after the great reviews at Yelp. I contacted them via email on a Wednesday and they were very prompt coming to my home on the same day. James seemed helpful and even provided options and promised to send me an estimate within 1-2 days. By Friday, I had not heard from him and I called on Saturday, only to be told that he'd have a quote that was ready but needed approval and I should have it by Sunday latest. Next Monday night I had not heard and I even sent and email but have not received any replies. I had not got quotes from other plumbers as I felt Zesbro could the job but, that was my mistake and had to call another plumber to help me later on. I would have thought that as a professional courtesy, they'd at least call me and say they can't do the job or tell me when a quote would come. As a result this has led to delays in having the problem fixed at my home and still have not heard from them. I am not impressed at all by this company's level of responsiveness.

I've never needed a plumber for a problem, only for installs. Anyhow, moved into a new house and 2 days later I had water leaking through my drywall from an above bathroom. Best yet -- all on a Sunday afternoon at 4 pm. Anyhow, I got someone on the phone and had someone at house in 1.5 hrs! It took about an hour or so to fix. I couldn't be more pleased with service and the great price. Better than my husband or I could expect on a Sunday afternoon. We will call them again in the future!

Unfortunately he did not have the part and came back the next day with a replacement. However, it did not fit. He then put a temporary fix to stop the leak and said that he will be shopping for the part on the internet.

I also used the Yelp discount offer and save me $30.

I would recommend ZesBro Plumbing for normal plumbing job in the future.

This a professional and outstanding plumbing resource. I had issues with my disposal. Called them up on Saturday and asked if they would come out to my home that day. James called me back and walked me through a check list of things to make sure I had tried everything to solve the problem. Spent 10 or so minutes with me, and we fixed it while on the phone. I'd Zesbro plumbing install two toilets at my home. I bought the toilets from them as well. There price was very competitive! Their service was awesome.

The serviceman was running a little late and made sure to call me and let me know. He'd separate slippers to work inside the house and booties for carpeted areas. I've not seen any serviceman give so much attention to such things. I very much appreciated that. He also hauled away the old toilets - all at a very reasonable price. It's been a month since they installed the toilets and there've been no issues. They also gave me a 1 year warranty.

I was able to do all the communication with them over e-mail which was so convenient for me.

They're now my go-to plumbers! I would recommend them to all!

Zesbro came to our house in the middle of the night on a Sunday! We had a flood in our crawl space and they fixed it and gave us an awesome deal. Way less than what i thought we would pay (especially since it was on a weekend and after hours). We discovered on a Saturday (of course!) that a hot water line in our crawlspace had somehow sprung a leak and had been sprinkling down there for a while---it was a mess!
Because of all the great Yelp reviews, we called ZesBro first, and James was at our house in less than an hour. He fixed the leak we had already identified (water shooting out) and then detected three more (water slowly dribbling out) which he fixed super-quick!

When my rental house had muddy water coming out of the laundry room , I searched for a good, honest, reliable plumber on yelp and citysearch. I stayed away from the big name boxes because I know they charge more for their overhead cost.

I'm so glad that I found James of ZesBro. He was prompt, professional and knowledgable. He snaked the whole house drain, found someone with a camera to locate the break in the outside pipe, then dug a ditch in the backyard and replaced the pipe connecting house to the septic tank. All these were done in a few hours. Reasonable rate. No fuss. James always showed up on time and cleaned up afterward. When he opened up the backyard, he saw another pipe that was clogged and disconnected, so he replaced it free of charge as well. He sent me invoice by email and called me each step of the way to let me know what was going on.

I'd highly recommend James to anyone looking for a good plumber.

I have used ZesBro plumbing twice now, once for a blocked drain (which they came out and fixed quickly and cheaply) and then again for a more serious problem (leak behind the wall in a downstairs bathroom).
In both cases i was impressed by their efficiency and general quality of service, i love that they come to the door with slippers in hand ready to take off their shoes so as not to get the place dirty. They clearly know what they are doing and take customer service very seriously. I don't intend to ever have to find a different plumber again.

I love this company. Great customer service. I called to have them come out and the person I talked to engaged me in a conversation about what I needed to have done. He then proceeded to tell me how I could fix it myself and so I thought I would give it a try. Yes so far so good, it is day two of my plumbing fix, and it looks like with ZesBro's advice I was able to fix my own thing.
So I definitely will call them in the future because in a time when everyone tries to upsale you it is awesome to find someone hardworking (they answered the phone right away) and honest.

Excellent service! In September James installed a dishwasher in my house. The place is 50 years old and never had one so he put me in contact with a good cabinet guy and electrician. When the space was created and electricity ready, he connected everything with great results. He replaced my kitchen drain too because someone put the wrong type in before I bought the place.

This week, when I had a clogged/leaky bathtub drain, I called James again. I got quick replies in VM and email and I had someone out right away. James apologized for having to send someone else instead of doing it personally, but his worker was friendly, thorough, and got the job done!

I don't want to have to call a plumber anytime soon but if/when I do, it will always be Zesbro.

Called for a busted service line. James came out to survey the job and provided a quote in less than a day. I called 3 other plumbers and James bid was competitive.

this was a 2 day job and James was heading to a conference so he immediately stopped the leak to help us out and then came back, as promised, after his conference to run a new service line. His crew was professional, prompt, and did a great job digging the trench, laying the new line, and putting the yard back together again as best they could.

Jimmy and the crew at ZesBro Plumbing are the best. We had main floor shower that had been leaking into our basement. We had stopped using it because two other plumbers had told us that the leak required tearing out a wall, which we just weren't ready to do. Finally, after several years, we decided we really needed to get it fixed. Jimmy and his teammate came out, found the source of the leak right away, and fixed it WITHOUT tearing into the wall. We have been using the shower for several weeks now without a single leak.

Your leak may require you to tear into a wall, but if it does, you'll know that every other potential source of the leak was ruled out before that happens. Thank you, ZesBro Plumbing!

I hired ZesBro plumbing to have as a backup plumber in case our plumber couldn't come in time if something happened at our house.

That being said, first hour rate was reasonable but fixing a fitting that was leaking and charging that much money? seems outrageous to me. I regret not sending him away and let my plumber fix the leak. I would've saved probably half of what he charged but wanted to be polite and not rude.

If you want a cheap, decent and good at what they do, you should find your own plumber and not so much rely on Yelp. Just because the house is located in nice neighborhood in the king county doesn't mean you can charge more.

I want to share my experience with you and let you make the judgment on this business.

I called Zebro about the non-working valves under the bathroom sink. As we discussed that the faucet is also old and not working properly, James quoted me $325 to change the faucet and valves (the price includes a faucet which he says costs around $70). He said he can come next morning since the condo is just 10-minute away from his house. He also said he charges $69 per hour.

He showed up on time at 8:15am and promptly started the work. I also asked him to do the same for the second bathroom faucet too. Also, I provided my own faucets. He guaranteed me that neither should leak or have any problem anymore.

At 11:40 he finished up and presented me a bill for over $700. I asked him how 3.5 hrs of labor would cost $550 ($150 of the $700 is for the parts he provided) and how this related to his quotes over the phone. After 20 minutes back and forth, eventually we agreed on a final total price of $550 and I wrote him the check.

4 days later, I returned to the condo and found that water was leaking out of the white t-trap area and the bottom of the cabinet is completely wet. I immediately sent two text messages to James # and no response after 4 days. On the 4th day, I got another guy come in and fixed the problem. The additional cost is $100 to come out and apparently the problem is simply with a lock around t-trap that was left unsecured.

He later texted me that he was out of town and did not take his phone with him. I can't really tell it's true or not. But I know after charging $550 for 3.5 hrs of work and still leaving a leaking faucet behind is not acceptable, not to mention the additional $100 to fix the $550 problem.

Came home from Xmas vacation to find a slow kitchen leak was soaking our wood floors. James came right out and replaced the faucet valve in under a few hours. All the sink and toilet valves in the condo were the same ancient hard welded metal hose to the valve and/or toilet. James gave a quote for replacing the seven remaining valves in the condo for under $600. I agreed and hurriedly cleared the way for James. He went rapidly from kitchen to our two bathrooms. At the end he said he would start cleaning up but I said at $XXX per hour I would rather he did the things I couldn't do!! Think about that you ijits who flagged him for not cleaning up. He was doing you a favor and you flagged him??!!

Easy, quick scheduling. ZesBro resolved a clogged bath/shower drain. (Unfortunately, there was a mix-up: James initially repaired a tub in the wrong house. He took responsibility for the error and returned the next day to the correct house and fixed that drain, without charging extra.) Normally I don't write reviews, but James was so good and we were so happy with the service.

Let me start with I am a handy person, I fix most of the stuff myself, so when the sewer clogged and all the water started coming out from the bathtub in the basement every time I flash on Sunday night, I tried 2 hours to fix the issue, but without any luck. It was late after 10pm, so we called it off, and had to stay in a hotel because my wife is pregnant and needs to use the toilet a lot.

In the night, we searched web, and found 4 good companies for fixing this issue.

So I started the calls at 7:15am in the morning, try to get estimates on how much it would cost me. Right on picking up the phone, James was very professional, after I told him the problem, he started asking me questions about the house, how old, what style, how many levels, which none of the other 3 companies did. He gave me a flat quote which was closed to what I expect. One of the other company gave me a really high quote, and another one did not even gave me anything, all he said was, they don't know, everything can change....For the schedule, none of the other companies can come right away, and only James said he can come in the morning. Overall very professional phone call, at least that's what I felt.

At 11am, James arrived on time, even gave me a call when he arrives in the neighborhood. After I show him the issues, he was able to find out the problem quickly, and moved his machine. Fixing was really quick, I think it took less then 45mins. After that, I asked him what is the issue, he was very professional on the assumption, and told me that there maybe some joint that not straight causing the issue. I asked him what's the way to determine that, he said he can put a camera in, but it is all optional. He did not push me to do the camera, actually, he was going to leave after the drain issue is fixed. But I was worried if there is any leakage since this is a very old house, so I requested the service, and he give me a very good deal on the camera, which is less than other companies' quote. So he put in the camera, determined that he was right about the assumption, and he even went into the crawl space to find the location, and check all the pipes. At the end he even draw the issue on my white board for me to understand it. Gave me some suggestions on what to look for during the next 6 month and also a detailed location for the issue so if I want to fix it permanently I can easily do, some suggestions on fixing other potential issues, and a quote. Again, he did not push any of those, but just give me the written information and quote and let me decide.

Overall, I felt James was very professional, the quote/cost can be negotiated. I don't feel any upsell, or any tricks. To me, he was honest, and polite. I felt happy when I handover the money. And my wife can use the toilet no more hotels. Thanks for a great job, and let us feel the comfortable at home. The only regret was I did not call him on Sunday night.

I am very pleased to say I have now found the plumber I will always call. No more trying different plumbers, hoping to find a good one- Jimmy from ZesBro is awesome! When all that snow came and then melted- our unfinished basement flooded. Like 8-9. I called him to try to even figure out where to start with this issue. He came over, told us that we needed to get the water out before he could get his snaking machine in there. He then told us all about the wonderful world of sump pumps. We took notes as he listed off all the things we needed to get and do. He is super patient and knowledgeable. And extremely honest. About 5 minutes after he left he called me to say he was on his way to the hardware store to get supplies for another job, and if I met him there he'd help me get all the supplies I needed. I hopped in the car and he helped my pick out the right pump and supplies. Also said he would be in Seattle working at another house, if we had any questions to just call him. Once we get this water dealt with, I'm giving him a call to fix the drains. Like I said, I no longer have to wonder what plumber to call- it'll always be ZesBro.

We had a very positive experience with ZesBro plumbing. They arrived same day, snaked a bathroom sink, repaired a leaky outdoor faucet and even did some additional tasks that we mentioned. Repairman was polite, timely and friendly. I will definitely call them again.

Ive used Jimmy Z from Zesbro plumbing for 8 yrs. Always on time, efficient, cleans up. From as little things as having the tub snaked to putting spickets on the front and back of my home. Have a small business in Seattle (Salon) Where he also put in a sink in the back room to new shampoo bowls. Always a pleasure to work with. Have referred to friends that have been equally satisfied. Ok. Had to try this one out what with all the good reviews, and I'm so happy I did! James took my call that night, and came out two days later (I called on a weekend) to take care of the problem. I really had no idea if it was going to be a big bill or not (plumbers are NOT cheap) but when he called to tell me he was done and told me the total, I breathed a sigh of relief....Phew!!! Quick, friendly and professional, and very reasonable. And I don't say that often ;) Thanks, James!

A week after moving into our home, the kitchen sink backed up. Great, welcome to home ownership! After plunging for an hour and taking apart the trap we decided we would purchase a drain snake. We then decided against that. Our home is older with some of the plumbing updated and part of it still original galvanized steel which we know will need to be replaced. We didn't want to take any chances and decided to call a professional. We called ZesBro based on Yelp reviews and the review do not lie! James and his assistant were great. James was able to see me the same day I called and accommodated a late afternoon appointment so I would not have to miss too much work. He provided an assessment of what he thought the problems was with best case options and a worst case option. James and his assistant tackled the problem and were able to resolve the issue by removing the blockage, clearing some of the corrosion, and running the backed up sludge out of the pipe. The prices were very reasonable, in fact a bit cheaper than what several of my co-workers told me to expect for a plumber to clear a blockage. A bonus for me was that James and his assistant removed their shoes upon entering my home without even being asked! We are a shoe free home and it was nice to see that they respected our home.

This business understands what excellent customer service is all about!!! Late last night I had an issue under my kitchen sink....pipe had come undone....water everywhere. Talk about stress level extreme!!!! Early in the morning....I had called another plumber(that was recommended to me)and they said can't see you until Friday. FRIDAY? It is Wednesday morning! I explained the urgency he said sorry not until Friday. He didn't even sound like he cared at all and hungup. I called Zesbro next.....based on thier excellent Yelp reviews...around 8am. I was called back within 15 minutes by James. I explained the situation and said it probably was an easy fix but I wasn't sure. James said I will try to fit you in I will be there shortly. I was like awesome! Great! He then called back a short time later and said he would not be able to make it as fast as he thought. That was fine with me....we discussed it and he said he would see what he could do. He called me back quickly and had someone at my house within 15 minutes. I had explained to him that I needed to get to work too. James completely understood my urgency and I thank him for that. I know that he did not have to do that but he saw the need and made sure my problem was solved quickly. The plumber he sent was extremely nice, efficient, and respectful. Problem was easily solved. I was so pleased with the level of service that was provided, that I told everyone in my office, what a great business this is. I have never had this level of service for any service of this nature before.....EVER.
Thank you James for turning a bad situation into a solved situation....FAST!!! They say word of mouth is worth more than any advertising......anytime anyone asks me if I recommend a plumber....I will always say Zesbro!

James came out same day, in fact arrived early. He was very professional, diagnosed the problem quickly and went to work right away to unclog the sink. He then replaced some of the pipes under the sink to help the sink drain better and without even asking he noticed the slab granite was not sealed very well to the sink so he re-caulked it. No plumber is cheap but for the quick response, professionalism and thorough job he did I think he was worth every penny. We never discussed the price before the bill came and he didn't try and jack me around. I will definitely call James again if I have any more problems. I highly recommend James. Now if I can just find an electrician of James caliber to do a little project for me I will be happy.

I called James on Saturday hoping he could hook up our sink, disposal, faucet, and drill a hole in the granite for our airgap on Sunday. We needed this work done after getting new countertops. He was friendly and available on Sunday for a reasonable Sunday fee. He showed up Sunday and did the work cleanly, promptly, and at high quality. He had all the right tools and everything looks and works great. I'm so glad I found him and will use him again!

The tub wouldn't drain, despite our best efforts. Finally called ZesBro because of the high Yelp rating. We got extremely responsive, fast service. Repairs were made the next day and unexpected problems were dealt with quickly, without complaint and affordably. I have found a new plumber! Thanks ZesBro.

I am new to the area and was nervous about finding a new plumber that I trust. After reading zefbro's reviews on yelp I opted to give them a call. I am completely happy with the service I received and feel like I got treated fairly. James is very courteous, thorough, and has a can do attitude. Day of add ons were no problem either as he has a large stock of inventory in his van. Glad to know I found my plumber as I will have no hesitation in calling him again for my plumbing needs.

I emailed them at 9:30 on a Tuesday night and received a call a few minutes later asking if I wanted it fixed right now. I felt a little bad about having him come out so late but they said it would be no problem. James showed up a few minutes later and I can see why he has such high reviews. These guys have always done a great job. I have used some of the big commercial plumbing outfits in the past and I am always disapointed in the service and the value. Zes Bro Plumbing has superior service and superior value! They have work on large scale bathroom remodels to smaller plumbing projects. All have been done perfectly and on time and budget! I recomend they to all of my friends and famly and no one has been disapointed. The personal service is also amazing.

Read the reviews on Yelp and decided to give James a try. Very friendly, came out that morning and replaced section of recirculating hot water pump copper tubing. Called and showed up exactly when promised. Did a great job, reasonable price, I'll call him again the next time we need a plumber.

Had the chance to use them today in a semi-emergency situation. My kitchen drain line had clogged - would drain slowly but couldn't use the disposal. I have a regular plumber that I have used in the past who could not respond quickly and I have use the big guys in the past and found them to be excessively expensive. Jim from ZesBro called me right back and sent someone out in about an hour. They were unable to fix it quickly and had another job scheduled but did manage to make it usable. They then returned a few hours later after they completed the previously committed job and were able to clear the clog this time. And they only charged a fraction of what I have seen before from the big guys. Plus they were very friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend them.

I called April 2011. My little guy flushed who knows what toys this time and it didn't clear the pipes. I called Zesbro and James tried to accomodate my schedule because I had promised to take my kids to the pool. He called when he was running late or early and called again to tell me he was ten minutes away. And guess what, he was ten minutes away. When he came into my house, he changed shoes instead of tracking mud. He laid his dirty equipment on a towel and it was HIS towel. These are courtesies every contractor should do, but he actually does. He also changed a washer on a leaky spigot outside. Everything including the bill took under an hour. I have had so many nightmare contractors but Jimmy was a relief. He takes pride in his work include my small job service call. Thank you Jimmy!

Our hot water tank leaked last week with one month left on its warranty. I called numerous plumbers who all wanted to charge a huge amount to exchange it out and deal with taking the leaky tank to a distribution center. I also had plumbers tell me to forget about the warranty and just buy a completely new tank costing near $1400 as it would cost me near the same to go the warranty route. James from Matrix Energy Services was amazing!! He was familiar with the brand and knew a distribution center he could take it too and pick up the new one, and he only charged me $425 + tax for the job! He was truly a Godsend and has great communication skills and work ethic. I will definitely be calling them again for any plumbing services.

Last week, I frantically searched for a plumber that could fix a fixture ASAP. I could not get the water to turn off. I called several companies before I got a hold of ZesBro. Literally 8 minutes after I spoke with Jimmy, he was at my door and ready to get to work! He fixed the problem but mentioned that he thought the fixture might be faulty. Sure enough tonight (at 9:15 pm!) it failed again and I could not stop the water from coming out of the showerhead. I called Jimmy back and he tried to talk me through the fix over the phone. After a few moments, he said that he would be right over to look at it. And again he arrived here very quickly. He fixed the fixture once more and didn't even charge us. I cannot say enough good things about Jimmy and how he works! If you are ever in need of a plumber, this is who you should be working with!! I wish I could give him 6 stars!!

I emailed Zesbro today at 11 a.m. and mentioned I wasn't sure if the phones were working, but that I was in need of a sump pump repair for my crawl space. Less than an hour later, James called me and said that normally the office is closed on Thursdays so he can do admin work, but that he could come over at 1 p.m. today. He decided to pick up another sump pump just in case I needed a replacement (mine was 18 years old!). He arrived exactly on time. He was professional, polite, and assessed the issue immediately. He had guessed that I needed a certain type of pump based on the installation date, and he was exactly right! He replaced the sump pump, checked to make sure everything was working, even tried sump pump CPR on my old, rusty unit (alas, it's dead). James cleaned up after himself and was finished with the entire project in less than an hour. I don't think I've ever, ever had such great service. Thank you, James, for helping on such short notice!

Yes, James is good, very smart and efficient. The reviews I read here are legit! (Admit that I had wondered because there are over 100 compared to others who have just a few other have). He gave a succinct explanation of the problem over the phone and showed up like 10-15 mins. Others I have talked to, had me replaced big item without even hearing the problem. James identified a parts replacement need and left it up to me on the bigger purchase (which is still much more reasonable than a rude other I've talked to). He zipped in and out working hard and fast. I definitely will use him again and likely all other services in the future. Also love that he uses Square for credit card transaction - which shows me he is a modern business. :) There are tiny details he might miss though (like left crawlspace open, and some procedures he could have done so he doesn't have to make extra trips). These are minor though, but hence the 4 stars as room for improvement instead of 5.
