I've requested an estimate today. I received my estimate today. It was fairly priced; I've had nothing but professional texts back and forth on the price and for scheduling an appointment.

The work is scheduled and I'll update if there are any issues, but I don't foresee any.

This business does not seem to be linked to Yelp, so if you're trying to contact them just text them at 206.914.3779. And also, don't expect businesses that are linked to Yelp to give you a better price, I've worked with other plumbers linked to Yelp, they generally try to scam you.

So in conclusion, use Splash Plumbing, they seem like a great small business to me.

Deb was great to work with. I wasn't happy with my former plumber and through a couple of referrals went to Splash for help. Deb asked me to send a couple of pictures and gave me a bunch of information about what she thought the issue was with a leak. Her team ultimately handled the situation and the communication and professionalism was top-notch.  And the cost of the project was more than fair. She's busy so don't necessarily expect a reply right away but just know that when you do connect she can get the job done.

Many years later, still having issues/fallout from the work from Splash.
Per a recent plumber visit, I see that they did not install the drain pipe to code. Probably best to look for a different plumber.

I had a water main break in January.  I texted her late afternoon, she got back to me that evening and arrived to check it out the next morning.  I appreciated that she gave me the option to save money by hiring someone to dig my trench directly rather than have one of her staff supervise this simple task.  She got it repaired when I was out of town, keeping in communication the whole time.

HIGHLY recommend her!

Deborah always does a great job. She is honest and isn't going to make you do more work/pay more than you have to. She gives you options for the scope of the project and is very good at what she does. For people saying that she never responds, please keep in mind that this is a two person small business. Deborah both responds and does all of the work (with Paul). She is open about the fact that you should keep texting until she is able to get back to you. So just keep trying! She is worth the wait (and it really isn't that bad and she gets you scheduled quickly!!). We will only use Deborah and Paul for our plumbing needs!

FYI - Deb's preferred communication method is text - which for me, is a huge plus! But it may be why several of the below comments mention that she didn't get back to them (she mentions on her voicemail to text her instead). I called 6 plumbers on a Sunday and got only 3 responses - one was Deb. Deb was actually able to help me fix the problem myself with just one text back - it didn't cost me a cent, and other plumbers had quoted $600! Knowing how honest she is, I will definitely give Deb a call next time I have any issues. Thank you, Deb!

We found Deb on Yelp while in search of a local plumber who would do scheduled work on a Saturday (we were having counters installed Friday, and did not want to go all weekend without our kitchen sink, dishwasher and garbage disposal installed!).

She arrived promptly and was super knowledgeable, friendly and practical in what turned out to be a somewhat complex installation.  She is clearly very experienced. Her hourly rate was affordable, and, she got the entire installation finished quickly.

Overall great work, we highly recommend her.

Last May (2019) I emailed Debra to examine an old kitchen faucet to see if it could be replaced (She had installed a toilet some years ago, so I knew her.)  She asked me to send pictures, which I did.  After this she never responded after many many emails over  several months. Now it is February 2020. I gave up on her long ago and found a reliable, skillful, honest plumber.  But I'm still ticked off at her irresponsibility so thought I would write this review just to get her irresponsibility off my mind and achieve closure.

Excellent- got me in same day, on time, great repair, invoice same day.   What more could you want?  Super happy with Splash and look forward to using them next time!

Needed Deb again for a shower repair two weeks ago. She fixed it fast and saved me a lot of money with the repair rather than having to replace the fixture. So pleased!!

I submitted a request online and did not get a response. A week later I left a voice message without a response. Don't bother wasting your time.

Just worked with Deborah and Splash Plumbing and she was great. I contacted via email and text this weekend for a toilet issue. While being out of town she took time to respond and let me know she wont be able to assist. She then proceeded to provide great information, for free, to help address our concerns. It worked and we will be seeking out help from Splash in the future!

Don't bother making an appointment as nobody will show up. Then, in typical fashion, the consumer will get blamed for the error. Not a service to which I'd give even one star. Poor customer service usually means poor performance. Not showing up = poor customer service. Blaming the customer = poor customer service. So, that leads me to believe the quality of the expected would also have been poor. I prefer to hire minority and women ownef businesses. Doing so this time was a HUGE mistake.

I've known Splash since '09 and love working with her.
I'm a contractor and first met her on a pre-fab, green-built new construction project.

It had a VERY complicated plumbing system, with grey water from half the building going to a bio-swale, along with a cistern for rainwater with an overflow system and supply line back into the building for feeding toilets.  

It was an interesting and challenging project and throughout it all, Deb stayed ahead of the curve and was willing to make multiple short visits to ensure that the unusual aspects of the project (pre-fab and grey-water) went together smoothly.

Since then Deb has been a great resource for info and referral for customers.
I have never hired Deb personally, but have recommend her to homeowners who report back with glowing reviews.

I chose this company based on their fantastic reviews and the fact that it seemed to be owned by a woman!  I really wanted to use them.  They no-showed for our first appointment.  I gave them a second chance.  I confirmed the night before, because of my experience the first time.  At the time of the appointment, while I was waiting at home instead of being at work, I got a call saying that she couldn't make it.  Not apologetic.  Not accommodating.  I won't be scheduling a third time.

Yesterday I had Splash come and install a new, low-flow toilet for me, along with a low-flow showerhead, and a look a rusty part in one of my other toilets.  There are a number of high points to Splash and its owner, Deb:
(1) Deb will answer any of your questions on email, and she also let me know when she was finished and what my charges were by email.
(2) They committed to coming on a certain day and they showed up while I was away working a volunteer position and finished everything up and disappeared again.  
(3)  Splash's prices are VERY reasonable - yesterday was theit  second time I've used them, and it's wonderful to know a plumber who doesn't try to gouge every last dollar out of your billfold.  
(4)  I also like the idea of employing a woman plumber.  After all, I've long been a feminist, and it brings me great happiness to see women taking positions that for so long were considered men's work.  Although I find plumbing a complete mystery, I'm happy that Deb doesn't!
   I sent Splash Plumbing a check, so I have never asked if they accept credit cards, but most bonded businesses do.

What can I say? Wow! My husband and I are so wary of plumbers that we allowed a 3 inch hole to develop in our laundry room ceiling from an upstairs bath leak before calling one. Splash Plumbing was not only able to accommodate us last minute, they were also efficient in finding the possible problem and suggesting remedies. Im writing this review same day so I'm not sure if the remedies will be successful, but I won't hesitate to call Splash back if they are not. Very satisfied.

I found out about Splash Plumbing by winning 5 hours of their services in a silent auction fundraiser for an volunteer-run animal rescue organization in Seattle.  

Splash Plumbing installed two low-flow toilets for me in a jiffy, and I applied the time left over to have this company work on two bathroom remodels in my house.  Remodelling whole rooms with pipes and wiring that have to be rearranged can be stressful because of the many design decisions a homeowner has to make.  I am happy to say that working with Splash Plumbing has been a breeze because of their expertise, friendliness and flexibility.  I made a major mistake by buying a new tub that was too long for the available space, but the plumber was OK with doing some other work on the day scheduled for tub installation and coming back to finish the job after the new tub arrived.

The quality of the work was absolutely top-knotch, and compared to a bad experience I had last year when another plumbing company exceeded their original estimate by $6,000 (gasp!) for repair a root-clogged sewer drain, working with Spash has been a very positive experience.  

Whether you need a leaky faucet fixed, or plumbing installed in a new or remodeled house, I think you will be very pleased with Splash Plumbing's quality work and customer service.

I called on Dee from Splash plumbing to help fix a problem with my sink  -- one created by a plumber when I had some remodeling done. He said the problem (dishwasher draining into sink -- terrific noise!) couldn't be helped. It was the only way to configure it.

Not so for Dee! She's terrific and she re-routed my pipes and we no longer listen to noisy draining every time the dishwasher runs. Just had her out again this week to switch out some faucets, and she is a gem. Her timing is spot on, she's really talented, and I couldn't be happier. Plus, the prices are unbelievably fair.

I'll never hire another plumber besides splash plumbing. And I have a 100+ year old house, so that's really saying something! Couldn't ask for better service or better prices.

I need to cut short a gas pipe to fit in a range oven. Not many plumbers do gas but found Splash Plumbing through Fritz's Plumbing (also a great company). The best way to reach Deb is through text message and it took some time to finally schedule the work but I am so glad I waited. Deb and Paul Showed up on time, super friendly people and the final price was exactly as quoted (the lowest among all the plumbers I have talked to). Deb also terminated a  dryer gas pipe I no longer use for free. Will definitely use them more in the future and recommend to all my friends!

Prompt and no fuss. Called Deb and she couldn't come out the same day to fixed our plugged toilet but called the next day to check in and came by when she had an opening. I would use them again :)

I've used Splash for a few small jobs in the past few years and wouldn't hesitate to throw a lot more at them.  Deb is fast, knowledgeable, skilled, reasonable, and practical!  I have a lot of small plumbing woes, and have used a lot of plumbers, and she's among the best I've worked with.

I concur- Deb is great!  We have an old house too, and she is very conscientious about fixing what needs to be fixed, and leaving well enough alone.  I am happy to have found her and will trust our plumbing to her for years to come.

I have hired Deborah to work on two houses that we have owned. In one property, Deborah did all the plumbing on a house remodel. On the second, she did basic house repairts (toilet, sick, tub plumbing issues).

Deborah has a very high personal standard for her work, and will stick around and check on the project until everything is complete. We have not had any problems with any of the work she has installed.

She is reliable, flexible with her timing, and generally great person to work with.

Very professional and skillful plumber. Rates are incredibly affordable. Highly recommended.

After two weeks without a sink or dishwasher because of my nightmare kitchen contractors who had delay after delay I had scheduled Deb to come out on a friday afternoon, a couple days after the counter/sink was supposed to be installed. The counter people delayed until friday morning, then to after lunch, then to the end of the day. Deb was able to come out saturday and help me so I could have a functional kitchen again by installing the faucet, garbage disposal, hooking up the dishwasher and deal with some weird original plumbing placement. I'm so grateful for her flexibility and knowledge(the disposal I purchased has some quirks she is familiar with and had parts to deal with).

Our kitchen sink was leaking like crazy, and we couldn't figure out why. A neighbor referred us to Splash Plumbing and I'm so glad they did! Deb was very responsive (came the same day we called her) and identified the problem right away - an inferior garbage disposal that was there when we bought the house now breaking down. She didn't have the parts on hand to completely fix the problem right then, but she did a temporary fix, came back the next day with a new garbage disposal, and threw in a couple of other quick fixes to make the sink work better overall. She was very reasonable in what she charged and was always trying to look out for how to save us time and money. She was a joy to work with. I cannot recommend her highly enough!!

Deborah of Splash Plumbing has done three jobs for us - figuring out where a leak was after a less than competent general contractor remodeled one of my bathrooms (the repair then involved a re-design of the tub), fixing a blocked toilet, and then replacing a laundry sink, the washer hose and the old lead pipes leading from the sink and into the ground.  She is very comfortable with old houses and their unpleasant surprises.  On this last laundry sink job, we wanted to get it done quickly but weren't going to be around so we gave her a key to the house, a comment on how much we trust her.

I have never been fortunate enough to get Deborahs time as she is so booked, but she always calls me back when I leave a message and goes beyond to help me figure out the problem since she is so booked.  She even gave me complete advice and called me later to check if I got the problem resolved.  Unheard of behavoir, so refreshing!!!!!!  Thank you Deborah and someday, someday I will be lucky enough to have you have time to actually come out and fix problems

She was terrific -- easy to schedule (text), gave great advice and fixed the problem first time.  Completely knowledgeable about the work she does.  Price was less than I expected and didn't include a huge trip charge.  Highly recommend.  Will definitely call again.

I wish everyone would just hush up about Splash Plumbing.  Don't get me wrong--Deb is rad, knows her stuff, affordable, and is very accomodating.  And, of course, I want her to be successful--but honestly, if she's keeps getting rave reviews, we'll never be able to reach her.

We had such a positive experience with Deb! She filled us in on our options (which she'd already done much of over the phone when I called for an estimate), and once we'd decided she went to work redoing the wonky plumbing under our kitchen sink. She explained clearly what she was doing and what had led to the problems we had in our unit, which is in a building that was built in the 1920s and renovated a few years ago when converted into condos. The total for the job was more than fair. If we have any future plumbing issues elsewhere in our place we'll definitely call her.

Splash Plumbing is FANTASTIC!!  Needing a plumber to do a bunch of odds and ends plumbing in our new house, Deb came in, was super reliable, knowledgeable, and ran her butt off the whole time.  She does quality work and makes it a point to look into any possible plumbing problems that need to be addressed.  It is so great to have found a plumber who is honest and affordable!  We highly recommend Splash Plumbing!

Deborah was great! I called and left her a message telling her my problem, she not only called me back right away, but she let me know that what I actually needed was a drain service and not a plumber. She then recommended to me several reputable companies who could get the job done right and not charge me a fortune. As a woman, I really appreciate that. When I was pregnant I had a leak in the bathroom and needed someone right away. I called Beacon because I had seen them on TV, they took one look at my baby belly and played me for a fool! Had the audacity to tell me that they were going to cut their labor costs, because they knew I couldn't do this alone, pregnant as I was.... Too bad they wanted to charge me $1400 for what my husband was able to fix for under $15 with parts from Lowe's when he returned from his business trip (yes, I let the drain leak for three days until he returned!). I really, really appreciate Deborah's honesty and for her honest recommendations. I had already had my bad experience with Beacon, but I'm happy to hear that there are others who are spreading the word also.
