I had an amazing experience with Raincap Electric.

I needed an electric vehicle charger installed in my garage on short notice. Bryce was communicative, efficient, and completed the installation within 3 business days. What stood out the most about Bryce was how flexible he was. At the time of the bid, I was told that Raincap could guarantee a mid-December installation. However, my wife was near the tail end of her third trimester, and we really wanted to get this project complete before the baby arrived.

Bryce mentioned that he would try to make something work, and he ultimately did. I would definitely hire Raincap again. Kudos!

We had our whole house rewired (knob and tube removal and rewiring) and everyone at Raincap was great to work with from start to finish. In terms of project cost, they came solidly in the middle of the estimates we received. They were careful and judicious, and we feel so much safer in our house now because of their work. Bryce is really responsive and a great guy to work with. As novice homeowners, my partner and I were pretty overwhelmed by this massive undertaking and everyone on the team was very patient with us, took time to explain things and answer questions, and checked in with us frequently. It's great to know that we have electricians we can trust for any other needs that might come up.

The absolute worst contractor of any we used during a major remodel. Dead outlets, the wrong products installed which now cannot be fixed without major electrical work, ??? listed on my electrical panel (they were hired to replace all the old knob and tube in my older home), and worst they didn't tighten the bolts holding the main feed of my electrical into the panel, which could've burned my whole house down, they were burnt beyond recognition from being loose and arcing when the new electrician and I were looking over the panel.

I had a great experience with Raincap for a knob & tube replacement in my 1930s home I bought last year. I got a few bids on the project, but Raincap stood out. Bryce came out to inspect the work required and had some great ideas about how to approach the replacement with minimal damage to the walls.

When the project began, the team of Jon, Gus, and Mike did a great job keeping me in the loop on what they were doing. Mike found a few issues beyond the scope of the project that would need to be addressed--the main panel was missing an inspection sticker, the grounding wire was the wrong gauge, the water and gas lines weren't properly bonded, and there were no grounding rods in the yard.

Everyone at Raincap communicated with me very well about these issues and, despite an extra day of work being needed, the total ended up being less than some of the original competing quotes. I had a great experience and I recommend Raincap for any electrical projects.

Bryce is the man. He responded to my voicemail same day and was able to show up the very next day. I had an improperly wired 3-way switch that another electrician was unable to resolve. Bryce showed up, figured out what was wrong, restored the lighting to my garage, and restored the power to my washer. While he was here I had him replace 5 other ancient switches to restore power to various lights. Everything was finished in just over an hour. A++ would recommend.

The whole team at Raincap has been fantastic to work with. Bryce helped us take on a complete re-wiring of a very outdated home and he was calm and comforting throughout. His answer was essentially always yeah, we can make that work, which was wonderful. As folks who are re-modeling a home, the whole team was patient with us and went above an beyond to help us make sure things were done right. Pete led the project at our house and he was super knowledgeable, smart and efficient. Cannot recommend more highly!!

I had an excellent experience with Raincap on some electrical work that needed to take place in our home. Their lead electrician, Bryce, is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and communicative. He gave us a fair estimate and was very honest regarding the scope of work that needed to be done.  The two electricians, Pete and Josh, were also efficient, polite and knowledgeable. In addition, they followed COVID guidelines appropriately. We'll definitely use them again if we have further needs and I'd recommend them to anyone requiring an electrician.

Bryce and his crew are fantastic!  They did an excellent job replacing the electrical meter mast, upgrading service to 200 amps, and circuit breaker panel.  I got 3 estimates on the repairs and Raincap was not the cheapest or most expensive but they were not far from the lowest bid.    The team was very quick, professional and attentive to detail.  I would  highly recommend them and will definitely go to them first for any future electrical projects.

The previous homeowner did some really bizarre outdoor electrical job that we wanted to undo, and it was too complex for us as homeowners to tackle. We contacted a few electricians, most of whom either never got back to us or couldn't come look at the project for weeks. Bryce responded the same day and was able to come look at our project within a couple of days, then do the work the following day. It looks great, I feel confident that it's done well, and I wouldn't have any hesitation about calling upon Raincap Electric again for our ongoing electrical needs.

Communication, process, availability and quality were all A+!

I called Bryce regarding a heater element going out with a loss of heat in my condo.  He had someone out in less than 24 hours and I had a new heating system installed within 3 hours.  This company is AMAZING!!!

Raincap (Bryce) completely rewired my 112 year old house. I had four electricians come out to give quotes and all of them were within $1k of each other, including Raincap. I went with Raincap because Bryce seemed knowledgable, friendly, and honest. They were able to schedule the work to start about a month after the initial quote which was great timing for us. We ended up adding a bunch of work but Bryce was flexible about the additional outlets and fixtures that we wanted to add. With old plaster and lath walls I was expecting that there would be massive holes and damage. The previous wiring was mostly external so new holes needed to be drilled and the old wire mounting needed to be removed from the walls. Overall, the damage done to the walls was very minimal. While the plaster crumbled in some places, mostly around the edges of the new outlets, many of the outlets are installed with no damage to the walls. I was impressed by the care that was taken with the whole process. We added new outlets to almost every wall, had the kitchen appliances all moved and change, added outlets to each side of the house, upgraded our service from 100amp to 200amp, put in recessed lighting in the basement, put in three-way switches in main rooms and the stairwell, upgraded to smart switches for most lights in the house and put in outlets with USB throughout the house. Rewiring was the first big thing we did after purchasing the house and it has greatly improved the livability of the house. Raincap was professional and did a great job communicating what was done each day and what still needed to be done. We were able to stay in the house, with power, for the entire rewire process. It was a great experience.

I cannot say enough about the excellent & professional work that I received from Bryce at Raincap Construction. I had some difficult (or rather near impossible) projects which I hoped could be done and these, including everything else were even completed on time! As an example, I wanted light fixtures where there was no electrical wiring in my 1904 house, and with their determination and innovative problem solving abilities, worked miracles, much to my delight! I would highly recommend Bryce from Raincap for any electrical project where you desire excellent work!

The folks at Raincap did a fantastic job moving an old panel in our century-old house from a wet location to a new, dry and safe location. Bryce was great to work with from the start. He came out within a few days to inspect the house and had a quote back to us quickly, which was very reasonable and more affordable than competitors. We planned the work a few months in advance and they completed the job efficiently and well within the timeline they had set out. Bryce saved me the headache of coordinating the cut-over with the utility company and when we needed to add on a few components to the electrical work, Bryce made it easy. As the work progressed he kept us updated and they always had the house ready for us to return to at the end of the day. The SCL inspector was very obviously impressed when completing the inspection, a testament to the work Bryce and Gus did. I couldn't more highly recommend them!

I emailed Raincap about a heater problem I had, wanting for them to come take a look. Bryce emailed back right away stating that they didn't have an available time to come soon enough but then gave me thorough instructions to try a reset on my heater. I followed his instructions and my heater worked again! For Bryce to take time out of his busy schedule to write out a long email on troubleshooting a problem for someone who is not actually their client tells me that they actually care about people's issues and creates trust for me to definitely reach out to them again for future problems.

Raincap did a full rewire (lots of knob and tube here) and moved the electrical box to get our house safe and up to code. The team was awesome and respectful and even did their best to accommodate our toddler's nap time. We have an older house, like most in Seattle, and they were great about communicating as soon as they found any unexpected hiccups. They also offered a very competitive bid and were able to get started very quickly. Great customer service and highly recommend them!

I highly recommend the crew at Raincap Electric. We were in the middle of remodeling the upstairs at our house and came across some unexpected electrical work that needed to be done before we could keep moving. I called a few electricians and most were either booked months out or did not get back to me. Bryce returned my call within and hour and was able to squeeze us in between jobs. He sent a crew out to do the work two days later. The crew were friendly, and professional and did a great job. They even double checked some of the other wiring while in the attic. I'll be keeping their contact info for any future electrical work.
