Obot Electric

I've been meaning to write this review for months because I wanted to make sure to express how great these guys are. Obot installed a new electric panel in my house, neither an easy nor cheap thing to change out. I got various quotes from a few companies, Obot quoted SIGNIFICANTLY less and they were the nicest and most professional in the quote process. They did a fantastic job, were really nice with my dog who kept getting away to hang out with them, and they completed the task in the exact timeframe they projected, even with the challenge of moving a panel out of a highly constrictive spot. I love where my new panel is and knowing it was done by a great team of pros and its inspector approved.

Also, even after I forgot to be home to meet Obot and the inspector to get the panel approved, they were super kind with that huge mistake on my end and they rescheduled with the inspector with no complaint or attitude. Thanks Obot for making it so pleasant to work with you! You're fantastic!

I have worked with Obot, specifically Justin and he was very professional and knowledgeable about what we needed. He was detailed and often checked in on the work before coming. I highly recommend them in all your electrical needs.

I commented previously and now that we have completed our renovation it's time to renew my endorsement for this fine electrician.
He thinks of the job when he's not on the job - I have received emails from him asking questions and making suggestions.
He has done outstanding electrical work in our condominium and I can't imagine using anyone else.

Wow! We started a downstairs remodel project and I used Yelp to find a local electrician. Jeff was quick to respond and came over that week. He understood what we needed and gave us a competitive bid. Brent and his crew did a great job and found and corrected several unknown problems. He also showed me some ways to make our entire project better. I cannot recommend Obot highly enough! I am eager to have them work on our next project!

Justin came through on wiring up my new heat pump and I couldn't be happier with the work.  Very clean install from the panel all the way out to the heat pump.  I really appreciate that he is always available for questions if something comes up.  I will definitely call Justin back when I have any future electrical needs around the house!

We have had Obot Electric do several projects for us over the past 5 years. They are consistently great at being on time and considerate, completing the job to our satisfaction, and they are thorough and competent.  We look forward to the next electrical improvement we can have them help us with.

I am a real estate agent and hired Obot on behalf of my client. I was very impressed with the scheduler Melissa who was super responsive and had great follow up to my questions and requests. The technician Nathan and his assistant were great as well. On time and very efficient. Thank you! I will definitely use this company again if I need services in the Bellevue area.

Justin came to help put in new lighting fixtures we bought. We had a couple canned lights that needed to be updated, as well as a light switch that led to an outlet that was broken. He fixed both! He was fast, efficient, and incredibly nice! If we ever need an electrician in the future he will be my first call! :)

Note: I did not even have the opportunity to have work performed by Obot, as they failed to show for the estimate.

I scheduled an estimate with Obot three weeks in advance.  I did so over the phone, and was told my time was confirmed.

Fast forward three weeks and it is now 30 minutes past the time of the appointment for the estimate.  I called Obot - the woman I spoke to wasn't the normal scheduling person but said that she saw my name on the board and would call the electrician to see where he was.  An hour passed and nobody showed up or called me back.  When I called Obot back I get a different woman who explained that they had failed to confirm the appointment internally, which seemed really, really bizarre since the other woman said she saw my name on the board.

I know that electricians are very busy right now, so I assume they chose to work a job sure to generate some revenue over coming and providing a free estimate (I'd do the same thing if it was my business).

My frustration is the lack of communication and organization.  If a company can't be trusted to show up when they say they're going to then they certainly won't be trusted to come and do work on my house.

I was told that my fan installation would be $75 per hour and would take about 4-6 hours. The person quoting left off the fact that it was $75 per man hours and that it would take a team of 2 to complete the job in 4 to 6 hours. Since this was a two person job, the total charged per hour was actually $150 per hour. This is pretty misleading when deciding on having the work done and leads to a bit of shock when the invoice is presented.

On a positive note, the staff performed the work as stated, they completed the job within 4 hours, and were very courteous so I cannot complain about the workmanship.

These guys are great.  Installed 3 digital thermostats and 2 light fixtures.  In and out, no fuss, no bother and at a fair price.  Will definitely be calling them again!

I had already used the home theater, electronics, low voltage side of this company for 3 years - wipliance.com and loved their service. Today I had Obot come out to replace the sconces at my front door and fix a nagging electrical problem a previous company had left us with.  Really professional and efficient.  The price was great...really great and now I am counting up all the other projects I need done that I have put off due to the frustration of having a contractor in the house.  Obot is easy, professional and reasonable.

Matt was awesome. He came to our home, listened to what the issue was, diagnosed, communicated what needed to be done, and fixed. Boom. Straightforward, no-nonsense, pleasant, professional and got the job done in good time. Thank you.

I tried about three electricians for a small job. I needed my Microwave on a separate circuit. The first Electrician never showed up for an estimate. I called Obot that day and was called back and had an electrician show up that day. The electrician, Andrew, gave me some options on how to do the work and was very thorough and professional. He was upfront about the hourly rate. The job was done a few days later. Andrew was efficient, clean, polite and professional. I would not hesitate to use them again for electrical work.
