Luxe Lighting Company

I am so very pleased with the restoration that Jon did at Luxe on my mother's daffodil chandelier. She loved this piece, but it was showing its age and time in a box after here passing. The piece has been brought to life and the glow of it feels like my mother is smiling on me.
One of the flowers was broken and the enamel was flacking off all over it. I couldn't even tell you which flower had been broken! The old wire has been replaced and I feel safe having it in my home.
I will enjoy this piece for the rest of my days, and when I'm gone hopefully one of my brother's sons will want to enjoy it.

Beautiful inventory - even better service staff. I walked in with a garage sale vintage dog lamp that needed a bit of restoration. The owner was very patient with me as I sorted through my options. This shop can handle a range of client. It turned out I was in the lower range of money spent, yet I had ample time to sort through creative options that in the end I am really happy with. This is a one of a kind shop not to be missed!

Super rude employees.

I work at an office, and we needed replacement light bulbs for our conference room light fixtures. The manufacturer's website stated that Luxe Lighting Company carried the product we needed, so I gave them a call. Upon answering the phone, the employee already seemed like she was in a bad mood. When I explained what I was looking for, she said that it was discontinued and she didn't have it. I found that a little odd since I had called a different lighting company before Luxe, and they said they could get the product from the manufacturer for me.

The only reason why I even called this place was because my manager suggested we shop around in case the first company takes a while to call back. Once she told me that the bulb I was looking for was discontinued, she said that she had other options that were similar to it. When I asked if they were by the same brand, she said, and I quote, I literally have no idea what you just said. Like literally, no idea. What did you just say? I would never speak to a customer like that. If I didn't understand what they said, I would've said, I'm sorry, I wasn't able to catch that. Would you mind repeating it?

At that point, I didn't even care to hear about the possible substitution they had since I definitely don't want to do business with rude people. After I got off the phone with her, the first lighting company gave me a call back and said that they spoke with the manufacturer, and they had thousands of the bulbs I needed in stock at their warehouse. The other lighting company even offered to place an order with the manufacturer for as many bulbs as I needed. Now that right there is excellent customer service.

We bought a condo downtown that had an existing dining room chandelier we loved, but 3 of the 7 lights didn't work. We took it to Luxe, where their excellent lighting technician John perfectly repaired it and we are thrilled to have it back.

I stumbled upon Luxe Lighting while looking for lighting ideas for a new house.  I ended up hiring Kristine to consult with us on our lighting plan.  It was very last minute and I was in a panic realizing I had not spent enough time thinking about fixtures before the electrician was due to begin work.  I was hesitant to spend money on consulting, but am so glad I did!  Kristine met me onsite and gave me some great ideas to enhance what the architect had outlined.  I continued to work with her on fixture selection.  It was very helpful to have her keen eye and knowledge to guide me to the right fixtures for each room.  With a few exceptions, we were looking for moderately priced fixtures and she did a good job helping us find good stuff within our budget.  The lighting has now been installed and I couldn't be happier with our choices.

High quality light fixtures, some you will not find anywhere else.  Very helpful and friendly staff.  We ordered six light fixtures here for our remodel, both indoor and outdoor.  They customized the height of three of the fixtures in house which was less cost than if we had done that through the manufacturer, and quicker. We will be working with them again in the future as we switch out a few more fixtures in the future. Great shop in Greenwood.

When I need a light fixture (and I still need at least five more), I will be only going to one location, which is Luxe Lighting in Greenwood. Why? Because, they have light fixtures that I enjoy, as works of art, and it's unique enough. Over the course of five months, I've been to every single home improvement warehouse in Puget Sound, various independent light fixture shops, and I still cannot find a fixture that I like. Anyone who knows me in person will know that I'm very meticulous when it comes to shopping for anything, and it's always an arduous process.

Upon entering this venue, it's brightly light with all of the lighting indoors, but it does take advantage of the daylight to help light up the area. It's inviting and draws me in, also, the furniture pieces are also complimentary to the various lighting styles in the building, and is also a functional work space.

In any regard, I was greeted by Bridget, who assisted me throughout the entire process. After knowing that I like contemporary modern styles, and looking at a couple fixtures in the store, that I sort of liked, but not immediately drawn towards. Then it's off to the catalogs of the various contemporary styles that the store can customize, and immediately, I was drawn to simple and elegant fixtures made by Hubbardton Forge, handmade out of recycled iron and glass out of Vermont.

With my entry way light, I only wanted a light that is strictly functional and served for navigation reason only, Bridget countered my thought process of offering other reasons, such as serving as an art piece, serving as a greeting piece, but also predominate enough to serve my needs. Her reasoning outweighed mine, and now I have a bright light in my entry way serving my needs, but it is also complimentary towards my objectives.

Also a plus was Bridget's willingness to communicate over email, and it was an easy way for me to send her detailed PDFs containing measurements and schematics of the rooms for my light fixtures, and to let her see my point of view.

All-in-all, working with Bridget and Luxe Lighting has been a pleasure, and I am enjoying my new light fixtures. I look forward to purchasing additional fixtures as I continue my remodeling project.

Beautiful selection, incredible customer service! I had bought a light fixture online from a large box store and had it installed - but didn't realize how disappointingly dim it was until I turned it on. I had electricians scheduled to come back the next morning, so I knew I could change out the dark light - but I needed to move fast to find a replacement fixture in time. I did a quick yelp review at 4:45pm and found Luxe Lighting, popped inside, and within 20 minutes I was out the door with the perfect fixture! They were very accommodating and even switched the light bulbs in-store 3 different times so that I could make sure I was getting the brightness I was looking for. Plus, it's a stylish vintage fixture that's completely unique! So pleased. Will be back!

I would give Luxe Lighting six stars if I could. This company is quality. It's not cheap; but you definitely get what you pay for and more! Kristine was wonderful and should I say enlightening? I learned a lot and have some beautiful lights in my kitchen. A few years before this I bought one for a basement stairway -- love it! About ten years ago my husband and I bought two lights for our bathroom at Luxe which are perfect. One day one of the sconces broke and someone was able to find a replacement. Oh and there was a problem with some of our kitchen lights. Kristine went above and beyond; but that's why Luxe Lighting gets six stars!!!!!

Super happy with the service (Jennifer, Mary) and selection at Luxe.  We started at the big box stores because we didn't know what we wanted.  As we moved on to smaller shops, they weren't necessarily any better in the service department (ugh!).  We happened to try Luxe as a last effort and were richly rewarded! The selection and service is amazing! Can't wait to buy more from them!

They were great. Said two weeks to fix and lamp was ready in 3 days and well priced. Also nice people.

We worked with Kristine a few years back when we were remodeling and the store was Antique Lighting. She is a pro! We have been so pleased with her lighting recommendations and the fixtures we purchased. Now we are fans of the new store! We needed two new lamps for our living room and Kristine guided us in finding them. They have really transformed our space. Trust the staff at Luxe-- they all have great taste and years of experience in the business. It's my #1 choice in Seattle for knowledgable staff and high quality merchandise.

This is a well run and very user friendly business.  Although they have prices on the high end they are well worth it for the expertise and goodwill that they present in lighting design and knowledge of products.
