It all started with the addition of an in law suite a year ago...and like a good yeast bread grew from there. Chris, Nate and Mitterrand, hung in there every step of the way. Chris's advise and skill were invaluable in helping us solidify our ideas and when we got stuck he was always there to offer great suggestions and options. We just finished remodeling our family room and Chris and his team have once again not failed to amaze us. Both the in law suite and the family room were in existing structures from 1979. They were able to bring us into the 21st Century while navigating the wiring of the late 70's. We are now state of the art, USB in most all wall and floor outlets and remote controls for all our lights in the family room/Home theater. All our cabinets and book cases have lights in them or under them. and it feels so good! Joe, the owner, has hung in there with us, working with our crazy schedules. Chris, however put up with our crazy ideas and made them a reality often times he and Nate would say   You might want to consider this and they were always right.  They worked COVID clean and always with respect for us and the property. I would not hesitate to hire them again, and when you have a house this old the next job is just around the corner.

When I woke up and turned on the lights for my living room, dining-room, and kitchen lights, I heard a pop and everything went black, including my t.v. and internet.  I checked the breaker, but nothing worked.  I called different electric companies but everyone was booked till September. Then I got a hold of JW Electric, and Joe was able to find time to come out and take a look.  One of my outlets had shorted and he was able to fix it right away and I was able to get back to working online.  He was very professional, and has many years of experience.  I will definitely use this company in the future.

Joe was such a knowledgeable and professional! Great pricing, no rip offs! They scheduled my in quickly and were able to replace our electrical box, add a plug, and a switch for the garbage disposal. They even had the inspector come and ensure everything was done perfectly! Will never use anyone else again, couldn't recommend more!

Joe was so helpful. He explained possible scenarios for what was causing my lighting issues. All fixed. Really appreciate his time and expertise.

We've used JW Electric five times in the past decade. Some major things some minor. We recently asked them to change out a 110 for a 220 and then add an exterior outlet. They also dug the trench and did all of the to my detached office space on new construction. I live in a 1960s house with lots of creative electrical solutions, and these guys have helped me figure out the riddle.

We had a mystery power outage after turning off and back on a breaker. The electrician tried to help with suggestions over the phone. When those didn't work, he came over, found the problem (i tripped another breaker without realizing it) fixed it, without making me feel stupid for missing it and didn't even want to charge me for the house call! Absolutely recommend.

Company uses deceptive practices and will price gouge you.  They even send workers out in their private vehicles.  The are much more better electricians out there that have good faith and fair dealing.  This company also has claims against them with the Federal Trade Commission.

Joe is great! Awesome communication, punctual, high quality work. Will be using him again in the future for sure!

Joe was a breath of fresh air after dealing with a previous electrician. I have currently been going through the bidding process and although, I didn't choose JW Electric, I felt like I should give a review from my experience. I was impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. You can tell this trade is important to him and he's been working hard at it for 20+ years. I learned a whole heck of a lot. His thoroughness of the walk through was impressive and he was pointing out things that other electricians didn't. I appreciated that. He is very good at communicating and gets the quote back to you promptly. The only reason why I wasn't able to go with him was the cost. I am planning on doing a rewire of a home and it didn't fit within my budget plan. He was definitely a runner up. Please give Joe a thought when thinking about large or small jobs. He's a good one! And I'll be reaching out for smaller projects in the future.

We called them once to get our hot tub working again, I wish we would have called them first before we paid Aqua Quip!  They came out quickly and fixed the problem at the electrical panel in 15 minutes.  Since they have to charge a minimum of an hour (around $50, completely understandable - that's business), they stayed and tuned up the rest of the electrical panel, tightening everything down and coating the wires that lost their coating over the years.  After that good experience we called them again to install an outlet outside the house.  They thought it might take two electricians two hours and quoted me $200.  I thought that was fair. It only took them 30 minutes!  I paid the full amount without question, it was what I agreed to, and they do great work :)  I'll be calling them again for a quote to install a ceiling fan.

I'm a realtor, so have been around loads of tradesmen and women, and I was highly impressed with Aaron and Chris. Not only were they quick, efficient and knew their stuff, they were in an out within an hour, which included wiring in the attic. What really impressed me was that their boss, Joe, came to either check-up on them or just to introduce himself to me. Regardless of why, how often does a boss show up to the job? After working with another company for over 6 months and pulling teeth to get them to show-up, or even respond to my texts, emails or phone calls, JW Electric was a breath of fresh air and I'll certainly be hiring them again AND referring them to my clients. Oh, and did I mention that they installed my brother's 220v charger for his car? My brother is extremely anal and detailed and was amazed at their work! Call them, you won't be disappointed (and if you ever need a realtor....). :)

These guys were great! Joe responded quickly to my request for a quote through Yelp.  His guys showed up on time, introduced themselves by name, and did a quick and professional job.  The main job was to replace an old electrical switch breaker panel (which they did within the time and cost quoted) but I also had a list of other issues for them to solve and they solved every one.  They were nice, respectful, and communicative. They did a great job and I would recommend JW Electric to anyone.
