Best Tree Planting in Phoenix AZ

We recently had Veteran Family Tree Service trim a large Jacaranda tree in our front yard. It is about 50+ years old and 25 feet tall, and was in desperate need of a trimming (hadn't been trimmed in about 4 yrs).

Their quote was the lowest I received (which ranged from $400-$600). They were very professional, showed up when they said they would, did an excellent job, and charged me exactly what they quoted. Our tree looks like a tree again(instead of an overgrown bush)! I would definitely recommend these guys if you have trees that need some attention.

We had Moon Valley out in November to trim two trees in our backyard that were overgrown. Both are 10 years old, one medium about 15 ft tall and the other large around 30-40 ft tall. They were touching the porch roof and the walls, and one was touching the house roof. We explained that the goal was to shape them, raise them up and reduce the circumference so they are not touching the house and porch or hanging too far into the neighbors' yards. Moon Valley was the most expensive company but the rep said that after they trimmed the trees we wouldn't need to do it again for 2 years, and he said a lot of things that sounded good so we went with them. There were communication issues, though. The rep said we were scheduled and we'd get a call with a time frame but when I didn't get the call I called the office and the scheduling lady said she didn't have us on the books. We eventually got all that squared away and on the day of service four guys came out to do the trimming and they were done less than 2 hours later. No ladders or major equipment were needed. They did stand on the wall for some of it but otherwise reached from the ground. They did hollow out a lot of the biggest tree (Arizona Ash) and raised the bottom up so we could walk under it so that one turned out ok, though I did go back in to trim some low hanging branches that were touching the wall again just a couple months later. The other tree (Purple Plum) they did shape so it didn't look like it wasn't leaning anymore, and they took off the lower branches to raise it up. However, in the process they accidentally sawed into the trunk leaving a large gash which is not only ugly but could impact the trees overall health. The next week two center branches dropped so far that they were almost touching the ground and had to be cut off. Additionally, while the shape looked nice, they did not decrease the circumference enough. They barely brought it away from the patio and roof (less than a foot) so after just a few months it's touching the patio and roof again and blocking the path around to the side of the house. Since I was told that the trimming would last two years and it needs to be trimmed again after only one year, I am very disappointed and frankly, mad that I paid $1,500. I was also told that someone would call after the service to check in and see how things went and I planned to address all of this with them but no one ever called. Attached are before and after pictures of both trees (before on left and after on right, two views of each). Overall, the shapes look nice but the trimming was not drastic enough to be long lasting and the main goals were not 100% met, in addition to the very high price and scheduling hassle. I will be looking at other companies when we decide to pay someone to come trim them again and I am not likely to recommend them to anyone I know for their tree trimming needs.

They did an amazing job. Had a few estimates and Innovation was the best. Sent pictures of trees I needed trimmed and he sent the estimate over the phone right away. Comminication was great and very professional. Very detailed oriented. Cleaned up everything after they were done. I will definitely use them again.

Spoke with Drew at Murphy's Trees who gave me a great quote to aggressively trim a large tree up front. Drew was very responsive in all correspondence via text and call.  Tree was done well, however I wanted a specific branch cut, and the crew was able to come out an accommodate quickly.  I will highly recommend this service to anyone looking for quality work done right.

Wow!  I was so impressed with the surgical precision that Hayward removed this 50 foot Sissoo tree from my backyard.  Three or four cuts removed by a crane to a crew that cut it into smaller pieces for the chipper.  Larger trunk pieces into a waiting trunk and then they stumped it down the ground.  Cleaned up nicely and were reasonably priced!  Thank you guys!

I received an unsolicited text message from Tree Pros advertising their services and requesting I contact them for more information and to set up a a time to get an estimate for any requested work.  I have never contacted Tree Pros in the past or have they ever performed services for me previously.  I texted Tree Pros back after checking recent reviews on Yelp that were less than positive regarding their customer service and their professionalism, to inform them that due to Yelp reviews, I would encourage them to address those areas of complaint before I would consider hiring them for work.  They responded that they had a 3.5 star rating with Yelp and appeared to be quite happy with mediocrity.

I had to have a 3 story ficus tree removed. The trees roots and trunk were close to my gate and they were able to work around it without a problem. Kyle T. came out and gave me a quote that was $1,300 less than Moon Valley Nurseries quote. They scheduled promptly; charged 1/2 prior to the job and the other 1/2 when the job was complete.

The workers were professional, didn't leave a trace of the tree behind, and the job was complete within a few hours. I also liked that they followed up afterwards to ask about the quality of the job and my satisfaction. I'll be using/recommending Tree Pros in the future.

Jon  and his crew are wonderful.  Always prompt to return phone calls and service.  He has been taking care of our trees for several years.  Highly recommend

I needed a quote for tree removal and trimming. They came out and gave a quote: I wasn't home but got an email that day with a contract offer. We didn't end of using them but, the quote was reasonably less expensive than 2 other quotes we received. Prompt and reliable. I would recommend.

Very responsive, professional and reasonably priced.  Came when they said they would.  Did excellent and efficient work and left the area as nice or nicer than when they arrived.  Juan, his staff and crew are very professional in all they do.

This is my first time hiring a landscaping Company, and I'm very appreciative that it was so easy with Geronimo, especially as so many other Companies are not quick to respond to requests to quote and/or do not show up on time.

My husband and I were very pleased with George and his great crew, initially. We really liked them a lot.
However, we had saved up a lot of money and had recently put in artificial grass. Shortly thereafter, we had George and his crew do the landscaping again (trimming trees, blowing leaves, trimming bushes, etc.)  I did not know I had to tell them ahead of time to not lay their hot equipment on the artificial grass, as that would surely melt it. I, unfortunately, assumed they knew this.
When I checked the landscaping job the next day, I saw a tell-tale melted spot on my brand new artificial grass. (Tell-tale, as in it was in the shape of a leaf blower.) When I asked George about what had happened, he immediately denied any wrong doing and made up a story about telling his brother ( not the owner of the house, mind you), saying that he saw the marks before he started the work. So, as a landscaper, wouldn't you bring that up to the attention of the owner BEFORE you did any landscaping?  Besides, we have NOTHING that could have caused such damage. We never leave ANYTHING on that artificial grass and our windows have shade screens.
Long story, short... they lied about the damage. They agreed to not receive payment for that days' landscaping. But, here we are with major melted damage to our.artificial grass. They never admitted to their mistake and did not pay for the damage.

Word to the wise: Take photos before and after any work done.

These guys came through when we needed last minute landscaping with a deadline - they were on-site in less than 24 hours from when we first messaged them on Yelp!  Communicative and on time, decent work and finished in reasonable time. Cleaned up after themselves.

I hired Hernandez Landscaping to replace Drip irrigation System, He delivered commercial product, and took care of the maintenance issue.

Responded to my inquiry, requested details, negotiated a price and we both agreed, stated he would be in touch but i didn't hear from him again, not a very good way to earn new clients

Littering my neighborhood with stupid flyers stuffed into front doors is not welcome.  I called and asked for someone come remove the unsolicited flyers.  I was transferred to someone else who said it would be easier to just throw it away.  When I said I'd report it as littering as they were blown about the neighborhood, he said I'd like to see how that goes for you.  That's a great way to earn business.

These flyers are unwanted, a total waste and create a more negative brand impressions than positive.
