Best Wood Door Installation in Phoenix AZ
Had my front and back porch roof redone a year ago by PCC Roofing and they did a great job they were efficient and cleaned up great after. I had a monsoon issue a year later and they were quick to come out and help me with the issue they even fixed a part of my roof that had nothing to do with the job they did. Very professional good guys I'd recommend this company to anyone.

Joel Brust deserves this Yelp review simply due to his excellent work, transparency and punctuality. He walked me through the costs involved during the quote process here at our home, which were perfectly reasonable. Within a week he was here on the dot of the time scheduled. He spent the next 3 days building this absolutely stunning Redwood Privacy Fence that is floating above our short cinderblock wall. The engineering in his design, being that our wall (as shown in the pics) is tiered-down to different heights with multiple steps-down to each tier--was highly impressive. Joel delivers extraordinary custom work and reliability to say the least. Not your everyday carpenter. You won't find a better Fencing & Gates Contractor in San Diego.

Had them do a tear off and re-shingle of my house with a leaking roof. Super responsive and very good at communicating. Out the next day for a quote and from down payment to done roof in a week. Dominick the owner takes his time to listen to concerns and explain things in understandable way. The work crew is awesome. Timely, courteous and hard working. Highly recommended them and they are now my go to company for any construction/contractor needs.

I am so happy with my experience with Prestige Building!! As a single woman the little jobs really started to add up around my aging home. I was appalled by some of the bids I got from other companies and was disgusted by the lack of manners exhibited by men I spoke to. I had almost given up until a friend recommended Terry from Prestige. He was AMAZING and so reasonably priced. In one weekend I got all of my odds and ends handled and am getting pavers put in all for less than other bids for 1/4 of the work. Terry was honest and saved me some cash where he could and best of all, he wasn't a creep! I strongly recommend!

So far not impressed. Adam our sales rep was very knowledgeable and friendly. We started off on a high note and after paying for our door 100% upfront we were extremely excited. We signed the contract on 5/4/17 and were told it would be three or four days to receive our CAD drawings to approve. We received them on 5/12/17 and approved them right away. We were told they would call to schedule the install in 2 - 3 weeks. On 5/31/17 we still hadn't heard back so we emailed the Builder Services department and they said they could schedule the install on 6/14/17. It makes me wonder how long this would have taken if we hadn't contacted them. The install date was further out than we wanted for a pre-manufactured door but they told us 4 - 5 weeks total and this was only slightly longer so no big deal.
The day before the install we still had no communication and were getting nervous since most companies want to make sure the homeowner remembers their install date and that someone is going to be there. Also confirming the time window is nice. I get a reminder call the day before from my Barber. It seems like doing the same for a $3,000 front door would make sense. My husband reached out to Adam who was out of the office but gave him a number to call. He called and left a voicemail in the morning. No one responded. So I called the store who directed me to their install coordinator. She told me I was on the schedule for the next day and that the tech would be there around 9am. She also told me that they don't confirm with clients in advance. Before calling I had also sent an email to Builder Services again and Jamie informed me that the tech would be here between 10am and 12pm.
Experience has taught me that when YOU have to do all of the digging to get info from a contractor, it's not going to happen. But they assured us everything was set and the tech would call us when they were on the way. Since of course we had already taken time off work to be home and also setup another contractor to maximize our day off we kept the appointment. As predicted, the tech called in the morning about 8:30am to let us know that the glass was damaged and they could install the door with a wood barrier (it's going to be record high temps in the next few days) or reschedule the install when the glass arrives in the next week. Which of course we will probably have to follow up on ourselves since communication is seriously lacking at this company (with the exception of Adam the sales rep).
-----------------
We might bump up the rating depending on how the experience goes from here but our experience so far tells me not to get my hopes up. So if the glass takes another week to arrive and then we have to get BACK on their installation schedule our 4 - 5 week timeline is now at 6 - 8 weeks. And this isn't even a fully custom door. Had there been a proper QC process in place they might have noticed the defect in the glass BEFORE our install date and avoided a lot of heartache. But since we got not call before and other reviews stating the same thing, I don't think that the glass had a defect, I don't think the glass was ready and they are telling lies at the last minute to cover their tracks.

Just got a call from the owner Tim. He was excellent on the phone and actually took the time to listen to the issues, took ownership and told me what he was going to do to fix it. It's amazing what just a little contact with a human being instead of voicemail will do. We are back on track and feeling much better about things moving forward. I feel confident that Tim will be there to fall back on if any other issues arise. At the end of the day I just want a company who is willing to stand behind their product and not run away from issues. Thanks Tim.

First off, the customer service here is great. Jennifer from their customer service team listened to our concerns and was responsive. The quality of the product however is not up to the standards of other companies. We had a security door installed on our front door by Steel Shield Security Doors which we were very happy with. On the recommendation of a neighbor we went with First Impressions for our second door.
The door they installed is not as nice as the one we had installed by Steel Shield. In our photos you will see smooth welds filed nicely and powder coated on the Steel Shield doors. On the First Impression door, the welds are sloppy, wobbly and fat with excessive amounts of flux which make the welds look like fat worms or tooth paste. When I contacted Jennifer she tried to bring my concerns to the production team and their answer is that the welds are within their company standards. They mentioned that they could come out and file the welds down and paint over them, but over time the paint would fade since they would not be powder coated like the rest of the door. I said no thanks.
The review may possibly have been one star if not for how professional and attentive Jennifer was during our conversations.

Caution....they will quote you for a very high quality product but what is installed is sub par and when you contact customer service to address any issue you will get a response of it's not our problem, hire a company to fix the problems.

We had asked Demers to give us a proposal for the replacement and repair of several of our windows. They initially came out and walked through our house and identified which windows needed to be repaired and or replaced. We received the bid from them, but it didn't match what we discussed. We have tried to call several times to get it corrected. They have not responded to any of our calls and don't seem interested in doing our project at all. They're followup and customer service don't seem to be very important to them. I would not recommend calling them if you actually want your windows repaired.

Got a new roof with this so call roof company by them coming around and offering their services by using our insurance claim. They installed the new roof in July 2022 and of course no rain but come the rains in October, we notice water coming through the ceiling. I contacted their office and they were so extremely rude and kept giving me excuses on why it's not their problem. It's definitely their problem because we never had a leak not even on the old roof. But now we have a leak on the roof. Anyways I have tried to contact them and they are just hard to work with. They are super friendly till they get their money and then their true colors do come out. Now we just had more rain in December 2022 on now we noticed other locations that are leaking. The work looks very mediocre for sure. I would suggest for anyone to stay away from this company and get a more reputable company that stands by their work. My email is [email protected]
