Best Wood Countertop Installation in Phoenix AZ
We remodeled 3 bathrooms (this was our first remodel) and were very nervous about the process. We interviewed 5 contractors and Danny's quote was by far the most detailed. He and his crew of wonderful guys worked 6 days a week arriving at 7 every morning. They did their best to make us feel comfortable while they worked and made sure to clean up each day. Their work is exceptional and we are thrilled with the results. If you want someone who is easy to communicate with, okay with last minute changes :), highly skilled, and punctual....Danny is your guy!!

My husband and I were putting all new floors into our 2400 sqft home. We stopped into Uptight and was exretmely impressed with their showroom. There was so much selection and the staff was extremely helpful. So we had them come and do some measurments to get a quote. This is were our expereince went downhill. I had done a lot of research on how much the flooring should cost before they came for a quote and the quote the gave me was astronomical. I really really liked the floors we had picked out so we tried to negotiate. Originally my husband gave a price that we would be willing to work with (still far above what I thought it should cost) and the sales woman said "done". The following Monday we get a call and they said that they could do that price (the one they already agreed to). But could not really give us a reason. Nor would they give a detailed quote showing part, labor, etc. For a week we tried to negatiate more, including asking if we did part of the labor of removing the old floors if it would bring down cost. I began getting really suspious when they said that we could take $150 off our bill per toilet if we remove and reinstall them oursleves. I COULD GO BUY NEW ONES FOR THAT PRICE. Also they mentioned labor cost for removing our bathtub....ummm why are you taking my bathtub out? there is not tile under there??? .... So finally we went to get a quote from another local business and we actually got a better quality laminate and tile and the same exact carpet for about $4000 less than what UpTight wanted (and right in the ballpark all my research said to expect) .... and they only charged for $75 to remove and reintall all three toilets... and they didnt remove my bathtub lol ...

Beyond happy with my finished bathrooms. The tile floors and showers are beautiful. Nik guided us through the whole process and his team was very helpful and professional. They asked us questions about options we didn't know we had so we were able to get better than what we had imagined. We're very grateful we chose to work with this team! 10/10 recommend.

Robert was instrumental in my bathroom remodel process. Before consulting with him I was about to make a big mistake on choices! He helped me select a beautiful porcelain tile for the shower that goes perfectly with my travertine floors. I could not be happier with the way it turned out. The before and after pics are pretty amazing! Thank you, Robert! Grateful for all your help!

This is probably the best kept flooring secret in the Phoenix metro area. I was in desperate need of some carpet in my place, two bedrooms at roughly 350 total square feet.
I had a few of the large flooring companies who come to you, come out to give me quotes and the best price I could find was in the thousands of dollars. I'm not a mathemagician, but $4000 for 350 square feet puts their carpet over $12 per square foot. I knew there was something better out there. Home Depot has prices at $2-4 per square foot and wants to hit you with minimums, install fees and extra costs on padding, carpet removal, etc.
I found AZ discount flooring and called to ask about prices, Marie answered and said they beat Home Depot all day and twice on Sunday. With a personality like that, I had to Visit the show room. Marie showed me a few samples of carpet they had in stock. All prices were quoted with padding and installed. There was no beating around the bush, it was straight talk, dollars and cents, padding, install, carpet takeaway was all in the price she gave me. I gave her my measurements, paid my bill and my carpet was installed 2 days later as scheduled.
I was scheduled for 10:30 AM install, they arrived about 11 with the carpet I picked out. The install looks great, all the corners line up and are tucked in well. I'd come here again, and I probably will the next time I'm looking for flooring. They're some of the best prices installed in Phoenix.

A very shocking update to my prior post.... I discovered just hours ago that Urban Customs has decided to STEAL my original deposit of several thousand dollars. Yes... STEAL. Keep in mind, no actual flooring was installed as detailed in my main review, due to Heath changing his mind about refinishing my hardwood floors spontaneously. Apparently he does not want other customers to read my in-depth review of what happened, and Heath is holding my deposit money for RANSOM (which he previously promised to return). He has stated that he will only return it if I take down the truthful, albeit quite negative, reviews I have posted AND sign some mystery document, which is very very suspicious and shady.
While I am not in a position to lose thousands of dollars, it is more important to make this valuable information available to others in the greater Phoenix area so they can avoid having to deal with this absolutely criminal behavior that Heath and Rachel at Urban Customs engage in. I want everyone to be aware that this is the type of "business" they run, and any cent you may decide to pay them, you may never see again, nor will you necessarily get the services you think you are paying for.
I will be taking them to small claims court following this unbelievable experience, as well as other protective measures to ensure they cannot continue to cheat, threaten, and rip off others.

I was extremely pleased with how beautiful my flooring turned out, but even happier with the work ethic and business sense of Von at East Valley Floors. Not only was Von one of the lowest prices offers we got on flooring, he was responsive to requests by both email, calls, and texts, and most importantly, he was always on time and got everything done when he said he was going to get it done. I've been working with several different contractors, and he is by far the easiest to work with. It can be a difficult thing these days to find a businessman who is honest and keeps his word--I am so glad I found Von! I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone.
