I am very pleased with my experience working with Steel Shield. Sean was very helpful guiding us to pick the right door for our needs in showroom then coming to our home to measure and help us decide on a color. Like others have said, we were told six to seven weeks but it was just over 9 weeks before the door was installed. Chris was our installer and did a fantastic job. The door looks and operates great and everything was cleaned up when he was done. We love our new door, it was worth the wait.

I first came across SDGF on Thumbtack when I needed a new garage key pad installed. Last summer my garage opener was malfunctioning and since Frank was so helpful the first time, I called them back again for my opener repair. I had another issue just recently with my garage springs and he came to fix it the same day with the appropriate parts on hand. SDGF's customer service, punctuality and reliability is above all the rest. Highly recommend!

Fred and Jose did a great job on the rod iron gates and fencing. The quality and workmanship of the fence is excellent and the install went great.

Wow! I can't say enough great things about Alpha. After getting a few outrageous quotes, I contacted alpha via project messaging on yelp. Not only did Vanessa contact me immediately, her tech (J) came out the same day in under an hour and was able to fix it in the same amount of time for a mere fraction of the cost. Even better, I got zero lies about how my door was on its last leg and a disaster waiting to happen, or that my how would complain about the fix because it would still show signs of damage like I did with the other companies. Instead, I see zero evidence that there was ever a dent and the door functions better than it did before! And all of that with an added year warranty on the work. Alpha proved everyone else a liar! Toro Construction did a great job.  Dan and his crew were fast, efficient, and affordable.  I cannot thank them enough for the quality job they did.  Several of our neighbors have stopped by to comment on how nice our block fence is to ask what company we used.  I highly recommend them and would refer anyone looking for a reputable and affordable company to give them a call.  Ryan

We got estimates from three different pool fence companies but ultimately decided to go with this one. They weren't cheaper but oftentimes you get what you pay for and this is not something you want to skimp out on. Leonard provided great customer service and was speedy in getting us scheduled for both the estimate and installation. The workers who installed the fence did a great job. Plus rather than being contracted employees they are actually employed by the company. They really know and believe in the product and customer service experience.

You can get a 10% discount for paying cash. We were also able to get a very small group discount for scheduling our installation at the same as another neighbor.  

I also recommend putting an alarm on the pool gate. It only costs $10-15 at any home store and having that extra alert system can give you more peace of mind and provide an extra step of safety.

Our pool fence looks great and we actually like the way it makes our backyard look more than before because it separates our different spaces well. Plus now we can relax and enjoy our backyard more knowing our little one is safer in the backyard.

Short story: Great people & great product, call them for an estimate. Long story: Bryan came out for estimate and was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Bonus for me was that he had color swatches so I could get a visual. (No other company did) Bryan also made recommendations that made sense for safety and for aesthetics. Crew came out for install of rod iron gate and they were efficient, and friendly. Pool gate went up as expected, looks fabulous. Oh and price was comparable to other companies too.

Mike is a true expert in his field. I've had him build me a few custom shipping and work tables. They have all turned out exactly how I wanted them/exactly what I asked for. He's accurate, quick, and easy to work with. If you need any kind of metal fab work done, Mike is your guy.

We requested many quotes thru Yelp and other sites. We requested M&M to quote and to perform an onsite evaluation.

M&M's Office staff (Chloe) was remarkably polite, courteous and responsive.

Johnny arrived to eval the problem with the iron gate, and within a few minutes, outlined how he would essentially re-engineer, disassemble, reassemble, and it would not only fix the aggravating opening and closing problems. In the end, it was done perfectly true, square, and spaced = above and beyond its original state. Superb workmanship and professionalism and NO price gouging like nearly everyone else.

After visiting the Maricopa County Home and Garden Show, we decided to order double entry security doors for our front entry. They sent a salesman to the house and we wrote a contract on 1-23-2018. The doors were scheduled for installation on Tuesday 2-13-2018. Upon installation, the installer realized the doors were made wrong and had to be taken back to the factory. On Saturday 2-17-2018, they called to reschedule the re-installation for 3-12-2018. After the reinstallation was completed, we realized that the doors were painted 2 different colors. On 3-13-2018, we called Customer Service and emailed pictures of the door colors. As of today, 3-26-2018, we still have not heard a response from Customer Service. If you are considering purchasing security doors from this company, expect long delays and poor quality assurance.

My parents requested that a salesman come out for a quote.  I was unable to attend, but assured them that we would review any proposal together.  While the salesman was there, my mother texted me very stressed out.  It seemed that the pressure that he was applying, was not what they had anticipated.  He told them that if they didn't agree then and there, that the pricing he was offering would no longer be available.

With that, I called the office immediately.  I spoke to the manager.  I believe it was Rebecca, but I do not recall 100%.  At the time, I wasn't going to write a review until they had an opportunity to remedy this situation.

The manager I spoke to sounded legitimately apologetic.  I think that she was aware that I had been in sales for over 25 years.  She even seemed a little embarrassed.  She assured me that this was not typical behavior for this salesman, and that she would surely call me back later that day after she had time to speak with him.  Two and a half weeks has gone by...everytime my phone rings, I pray that maybe...just maybe...it might be her.  Of course I am kidding about that.  But I am not joking about the fact that this manager has not bothered to call me back.  It seems that she really didn't care.

I am a local Real Estate Agent.  These people will not only NOT get a recommend from me...I will be certain to make sure that my buyer/sellers steer clear.  The salesman is one thing.  The manager being too busy to bother calling me back is beyond reproach.  

Change the name to Worst Impressions.  That pretty much sums it up.

After trying to get anyone to come out and do my 20' fence and gate install, I finally contacted these folks.  They came out, did a really good job, and can be recommended to others.  Since it was a small job, the price was a little expensive, but I am very pleased to have the work done and have it done properly.
