Best Drain Cleaning in Denver CO
The Fixer, Nate, was very pleasant, resolved my issue, and I would gladly work with him again.
Jayme, who discussed billing with me, did not convey there was a 1-hour minimum charge until after the work was completed. This led to a surprise bill for a 15 minute visit that should have been a quarter of the cost. After expressing my concerns, he reduced the price by 50%, which is still a up-charge of 100% given the information he provided me and the services rendered. I would expect better customer service for a mistake he made, i.e. not conveying the 1-hour minimum before booking the appointment. I would not work with Jayme again.

UPDATE:
For context, below is the message that they claim conveys a required 1-hour minimum of service:
The clock starts once your Fixer arrives. The assessment usually takes 5 mins. within the first hour of service. Then your Fixer will advise how long it will take to complete this task. We charge $119/hr prorated to the minute after each hour of service.
The after each hour of service is what is vague and confusing. It should have said something like: there is a minimum one hour charge of $119; any additional time beyond 1 hour is billed at $119/hr, prorated to the minute.

Have used SHH for service several times, and they were runner up when shopping for a new furnace. Good experiences overall, with friendly, thorough, honest, and knowledgeable people. We have found that their prices are inline with other places that do good work in the area.

Needed a new sink and an overflow put in my kitchen so I went ahead and looked up faucet installation in my area. Went forth and picked this company and everything turned out perfect and I was very pleased with the professionalism and how smooth the process went. I've had pretty bad experiences and I will be recommending my girlfriends to this company for any kind of handyman interior & exterior projects! Thank you again so much J&D Home Services and Repair.

Very fast response - they were at my house within two hours for a non-emergency call. Very nice and professional repair person, and the folks on the phone were great as well. Work was done fine, and they gave me quotes for future maintenance.
Their mark-ups seem a little high. They charged $650 to replace a $50 thermostat available at Ace Hardware. They also gave me a $1,700 quote to replace swamp cooler pads available for less than $100 at Home Depot. I'll shop around, maybe that's a normal markup. Or maybe this is one of those low rent places where you are supposed to haggle? That's not really my thing. Either way, I'll feel a bit exploited until I shop around.

This is purely based on the gentleman who came out to give estimate on work. His name was Jason. He did an amazing job explaining what the issues were. What needed to be done, what alternatives I had in moving forward to fix the Hvac problems. Unfortunately it's not going to be cheap, but cheaper than replacing the entire unit. I feel pretty good about moving forward with the work.

Used there service in my old house and they were great.....tech was awesome and work was done quickly and efficiently
I called them to schedule electrical work for my new house. Had to schedule an appointment quite a ways out time wise. The day before i called to confirm and was told everything ead good to go.
On the day of the appointment they didnt show up at the agreed time so i gave them a phone call. I explained who i was, that i had an appointment, and that no showed up and wanted to know an ETA.
The receptionist asked my address, which i gave. He then said i cancelled your appointment for you...i was like what?! Told him I took time off work for this appointment. He made a comment that guess i didn't understand you. Turns out a few hours after i confirmed my appointment, they canceled it and left me a message to inform me of this. They did not leave message....as i have a very reliable cell.
Fine.....ill just find a new electrician.

I tried to write this review on reviewbuzz.com but Dan Greene's name isn't listed in the drop down menu yet. We called Time for an electrical issue that really had us worried- they got me an appointment the next day - Dan showed up on time and was so helpful. He was really transparent and honest, and had no problem walking us through everything he was doing. In a short time, he was able to fix several issues that had been bothering us for a year.
Among other issues, He found a hazardous outlet that had been miswired by the previous electrician, and he really left us feeling safer and more confident in the state of our homes electrical work and our ability to identify future issues. He had everything he needed to make the repairs in his truck- no waiting for ordered parts!
We like to DIY when possible, so during his visit, Dan also took a look at our plans for rewiring the garage. He gave us some advice and some honest feedback on what he thought we could handle ourselves and which items a master electrician should do. With Dans advice, we plan on doing as much wiring as we can on our own, and will then bring back Time (hopefully Dan!) to inspect our work and put the final touches on it. It's a perfect arrangement for people who like to be hands-on with their home maintenance but don't want to risk safety or quality. Thanks, Time!

Worst company I've ever dealt with as a property manager. We have used Plumbline for several projects and it's been a horrible experience. They don't stick to what they're quoting you. We were told about $200 to replace a garbage disposal and then were billed for $650. More than half of our appointments have been missed or rescheduled at the last minute. They don't send invoices in a timely manner. Send the wrong technicians out that do not have the right expertise/equipment to handle the job we explained to them in detail. Icing on the cake that triggered me to write this review was talking to an extremely unpleasant person named Ali on the phone. I needed some clarification on just 3 invoices we had from a series of repairs at one of our rental homes. Only 2 of the invoices were ever sent to us and the dates were wrong, so I called and asked Ali to please confirm the service dates for the invoices I did have and send me the 3rd. Very simple and I know she had that information handy because she told me for the first invoice and it took 30 seconds. When I asked for the same information from the 2nd invoice, she got very short with me and proceeded to tell me that she didnt have time to talk to me anymore. Are you serious??? Last week, we had an underground leak in a vault that we needed to fix, and I called Plumbline and they told me that they could not use a simple sump pump to pump out the water to look at it. I hired another company to pump out the vault before a scheduled appointment with plumbline. The other company, who we were paying to be there, was out there all day waiting, and plumbline never showed. They rescheduled for tomorrow and showed up 2 hours late and the technician told me that he was not certified to go underground. Plumbline knew they would have to go underground so why did they send that guy??? Hours later....they send someone else out who was useless and said they just didnt know what was wrong. Then they billed us $400! For nothing! This company has been so unprofessional and made my job so hard. Never using these guys again.

They didn't install the AC but they did move it to the other side of the house about two months ago. Finally got hot enough to turn it on this weekend and it wasn't working. They came by the same day we called and under warranty. Turns out the circuit was still flipped for the AC :-) probably should have checked that. BUT the gentlemen were very nice, knowledgable, and obviously helpful. Would definitely call them again.

Highway Robbery. You heard me.
Well, previously I had been a fan of this business, mainly because they are around the corner from me and I don't have to pay for service calls because I'm a neighbor. I can now say that I will be happy to pay for a service call from a more professional and honest HVAC provider rather than use these guys again.
My furnace stopped working in mid-April. I was thinking it wasn't a big deal because the weather was getting warmer, so I wasn't in a huge rush to have someone look at it. As this chilly Spring continued, I called in Applewood for a diagnosis - the tech was spot on: I needed a new control board for my Carrier furnace. I was able to confirm this diagnosis with another professional, and so I certainly can't complain about the knowledge and skill in figuring out why I wasn't getting any heat.
HOLY STICKER SHOCK: The repair would cost me $1724 ($1526 for the repair) if I bought a service contract ($198) with them, or it would cost $1902 if I did not. I laughed. He said he was not joking. It took me a few minutes to recover from the shock of this quote and, quite frankly, was insulted by the tech's pressure on me to make a decision to move forward with the repair within the next 24 hours, so that [you] can have heat by the weekend. I pointed out that it was Spring; unfortunately it was one of the chilliest Springs on record in Denver...
Long story short: I ended up buying the part myself for $289 and spending $100 on a licensed and qualified HVAC tech to perform the repair in under 90 minutes.
A savings of approximately $1300-1500. That's criminal.

AAA was excellent! I have used them twice now and both times they have been honest a caring. The technician was wonderful in explaining everything, and I really trust the work that was done. The first time I called them I had some water damage that was causing the downstairs lights to flicker, and by the time I had them check it out, the flickering had stopped. I was still worried about damage so I had them come out anyways. The technician was honest enough to tell me that the issue had probably solved itself once it all aired out. They were more than happy to do a costly diagnostic, but recommended that I save my money and just call back if the problem started back up again. I knew right then that I could trust AAA because most other companies would have run the diagnostic anyways and charged me for nothing. They will always have my business!

I am very pleased with the service I received for my AC. My technician Tony was efficient, kind, very professional and up front with not only the issue but the cost as well. I will continue to use plumbline for future issues in my home.
