I had 2 leaks on my main floor, in the dining room. One from the sewer line and one from the shower. Also, my water heater had corrosion on it so we needed a new one.
Ben came, checked everything out and the next day Brandon and Michael came to take care of everything.
They did an excellent job!! i thought they'd be here all day but it took them about 3 hours. They were very professional and Brandon explained everything he was doing for us.....we appreciated that!
The experience we had with AAA plumbing was great and I would recommend them , highly!!!
Brandon did have to come back to fix a problem with my toilet, but it was a quick fix.
Hopefully, I won't have anymore problems, but if I do, I want Brandon!!!

Absolutely worst service I've ever encountered. Two times they have left us hanging. Scheduled appointment for Memorial Day, which I stated that I was very reluctant to do and stated as such, but was assured that they were fully staffed and it was no problem at all. Was given a window of 8-12, finally at 2:45PM we called and was told oh we assigned your job to a tech that wasn't working today, I've been looking for another time to reschedule you but we are so under-staffed today I haven't been able to do. So instead of calling us to inform us of this, we wasted over half our holiday waiting around. I asked them to please just reschedule us for the following Friday to give them more time to put us on the schedule.
Fast forward to Friday, I receive a text at 1PM saying the tech is in route, at 2PM I called as they hadn't arrived yet, to let them know that street parking in our neighborhood was very challenging and that if the tech would please give me a call when they were close I could give him instructions to be able to park in our secure area so they wouldn't have to hassle with street parking. They said ok we'll let him know, nothing more was said and that was that. So at 3:30 when he STILL had not arrived I called once again, I was put on hold so they could check to see where the tech was. When the gentleman returned I was told oh this is a really unique situation I've never seen this, immediately after the tech texted you he was on the way he was sent home. We still have you on the schedule but we don't know when someone will be there. Why wasn't I told this when I called the first time? Why didn't they call me when this happened? Even though it means that I must now start this all over I cancelled the appointment, as I won't give my hard earned money to such a sloppy thoughtless company.
Horrible communication, sub-standard scheduling, complete disrespect of customer's time. I would highly suggest you skip this company and look for one that doesn't leave customers waiting around with no proactive communication. My only wish is that was a way to give negative stars.
I hired AAA Service Plumbing, Heating & Electric to clean out my bathroom sink drain. Shawn Woodward was awesome. He explained what he was going to do and the drain was a stubborn one but after trying it 3 times he got it cleared. Shawn didn't want to leave my house until he got the drain cleared. Amazing service from Shawn and this company. They will get all my business for sure!!

Greg was extremely knowledgeable, prompt and provided excellent service. We had a number of small to medium problems we've been putting off and Greg was able to address all in one visit plus a little extra advice in some future needs! Found solutions to all our issues, even one related to our split line pressure that we were skeptical had a fix available. Super happy will definitely be using again and requesting Greg.
AAA Service Plumbing Electric is a very shady and dishonest company. They lie about prices, luring you with a cheap $95 special or so for main line cleaning, then they add $255 more for toilet removal.
They did a bad job cleaning the main line, all they did was punch a hole through the blockage. They will lie to you about your pipes being in bad shape to try to scam you of thousands of dollars in unneeded work.
I had a real plumber arrive after them, he was up front with pricing and he actually cleaning the lines properly with a rotating grinder attachment on the snake.
Also, he said very clearly the lines are fine and DO NOT NEED REPLACING.
I called AAA to fix the hot water handle in my bathroom sink.
The service tech, Larry, was extremely helpful & attentive as I laid out my entire list of concerns throughout my condo.
He readily assured me he could help me.
I ended up with a new toilet that day and enrolled in their maintenance plan!
I am relieved to have the peace of mind that I can have their professional team handle my maintenance needs.
Thank you Larry & AAA!

So my experience with AAA service did not go as well as I'd hoped it would. If you want to pay $800 (or $715 with a 15 % discount) because I was a monthly member to replace a kitchen faucet, have at it. I provided the new faucet. Took the guy about an hour. And still charged me $800 because they are licensed and bonded blah blah blah. Did manage to get $100 refund after talking to a manager about the audacity of charging someone $800 for an hours worth of work. He tried to justify it. With the 15 % discount they offer to members they can put whatever number they want to on a job, and try to convince you your saving money because your a member. What a joke. I would give 2 star but hey. I recieved some money back after being practically robbed. Find another company because these guys will give you whatever price they want. Licensed and bonded to rip people off!!!!

Jay from AAA Service came out in reponse to our call for service on a leaking garbage disposal. While I agree we needed a new one, I feel my daughter was oversold. He installed their best disposal for a total cost of $973 in an old manufactured home for a household that barely uses it as we are composters. He also gave us a quote for 15K of repiping work that needs to be done. I will certainly be careful to get competing quotes in the future.
I called to have a hose bib replaced as a result of frost damage. They charged $49 for a service call and said the cost of this minor repair (true, it would take about 1/2 hour plus a $50 part) would be $862. I declined, as that is egregiously overpriced.

Called them to clean a sewer line where we knew their were roots. After we listed the home (within 2 weeks of service), the new buyers had the line scoped and there were roots. AAA said we declined video and therefore there is no warranty on the cleaning service. I didn't even know I declined any options and so I wasted my money. Have to get the line cleaned and rescoped elsewhere now.
--- Edited to note that they did refund my money to make this right. ---
Calling your customers lairs isn't a great business practice.
This was our second time using this service but it has come under new management.
Kitchen drain was clogging up. They came out and insisted on running the snake from the kitchen which is upstairs instead of from the access in the basement. The drain runs the entire length of the basement and he insisted his snake was long enough.
Days later the clog was back and they came back out but this time I insisted they do from the basement. He told me the clog was feet from the access and when I asked how that could be and he said from people stuffing food down the drain/garbage disposal. We have tiny mess covers over our kitchen drains and no garbage disposal and I said this. His response was Everyone says that. This isn't my first rodeo.
Calling your customers lairs isn't a great business practice.

Our experience with AAA Service was absolutely horrific. Absolutely horrific. The FIRST time they dug a trench to replace our sewer line, the level of incompetence and destruction was ridiculous. The crew completely ignored our requests to please not rip out our cable lines, please be very careful about the gas line and to tag and cap the sprinkler lines, to please relocate some decorative boulders. Unfortunately, their contract basically says they're not at all responsible for the destruction of these kinds. It easy like a war zone here! I'd even bought them a pizza for lunch before the real malfeasance began. They left the paper plates, drinks and napkins blowing all over our, and the neighbors', properties.
Not only that, but they trenched in the WRONG location and had to hand dig about 5 feet under 8 feet of dirt to reach the house cast iron. I expressed concern because it was very dangerous. They blew me off. Then, an hour later, the tunnel collapsed on the worker. Unbelievable. Truly.
AND THEN, 5 months later, just 3 weeks after we'd spent another $12k replacing cable, concrete, flagstone, plants, gas line and irrigation system to return our property to a semblance of normal....we had water...dirty, poopy water appear in our basement floor drain.
Such a long story! AAA admitted that the original crew had been completely incompetent. They agreed to pay for some of a SECOND sewer line replacement. They ripped up the beautiful new concrete patio, destroyed the plants and sod and sprinklers again. The gas line remained intact. Yay! All of this was, again, at our expense.
RUN away from this company! Their personnel and management changes every couple of months. There appears to be little actual expertise anywhere.
Every time I hear their catchy jingle on morning TV, my blood begins to boil. I just hope and pray we can continue to flush our toilets.
Their Sewer Specialist Ashton Grable came to our house for a routine sewer line root removal and tried to use scare tactics to get us into a more expensive project. He informed us that he would not perform the service because our 120 ft sewer line was about to collapse. He quoted us a price for a permaline $20,000 and an excavation ($28,000). He showed me where the cracks were in the video. Luckily, I had the good sense to call 10 other plumbers. Each one said the same thing- our line was in no danger of collapse. There are some cracks, but they are minor, and a root removal would do no damage. Also, some of the supposed cracks were just discoloration in the pipe- not a crack at all. I was also quoted MUCH lower prices, as low as $9,000. I was also told by some of the other plumbers that they knew this guy Ashton and had heard about him pulling these types of stunts before. In the end, he only took $49 for the site fee instead of putting my family in debt for a number of years.

Charged $2099 to fix a leak on a kitchen sink that took approximately 90 minutes and required ~$30 in parts. Took full advantage of me not being there at the time, described a problem and a job that sounded much more serious and involved over the phone, and thought that serious work had to be done on the stack leading down into the basement.
Service fee: $49
Charge to pull out dishwasher to access the area: $742
Replace 1.5 pipe section behind dishwasher: $748
Replace kitchen sink p-trap: $192
Reconnect kitchen disposal drain: $368
To say we feel taken advantage of just doesn't even come close, this was dishonest communication and atrociously overpriced work, especially since it's trivial to pull out the dishwasher to access the area.

WOW - AAA Service Plumbing, Heating & Electric just tried to gouge me on price! I had a bathroom sink faucet that had the clips that hold it break. Technician told me the easiest thing to do is to replace the faucet...at $1119.00. WTF! I looked online and the faucet that he recommended cost less the $200. I had him speak to his manager and he could get the price down $50 and that I was already getting a loyal customer discount of $200.
I am not a loyal customer anymore....after ten years, they lost a client over this mess. AAA you should be ASHAMED OF YOURSELF.
AAA came out for a free estimate and quoted us hundreds of dollars above industry average for an easy fix. (Part ended up being a $15 DIY fix, quote was for $590). After I said we did not want to move forward, the technician pressured me to accept and let them begin to install ASAP. I insisted we did not want to and he tried to repeatedly tell me I would need to pay a $79 service fee, although I had an email which stated the estimate would be free. It took some time for me to convince the technician to leave my house which was very uncomfortable, as a woman home alone. Eventually he left, but it was an unnerving experience and they definitely were going to grossly overcharge us.
I had someone come out to fix a dripping shower head. Charged $379 to fix it. One month later, had to call them again because it was leaking. They did the same repair (for free since it was something they'd worked on), and less than a week later the shower is not dripping when turned off, it's flowing a steady stream.
Their hours say 24/7 but don't believe it. They haven't answered calls or sent them to an answering system to call me back so I have to live with their work that's left my shower in a worse condition after hours of appointments and trying to schedule.
Watch their pricing. Had a gasket replaced on a faucet. Tech was here for about an hour. $336. Part was maybe $10. Called for a breakdown on labor and materials. oh we do not do that They just charge what they want. I estimate I paid about $175/hour. Also paid $5K for a new hot water heater. Again no idea how much the labor was. I was in a bind so had to take it. I will not use them again. Had to call several times to even get a return call.

I need an quote to have my circuit breaker box to be replace. They wanted to charge $49.95 to have a tech come to my home to give me a estimate to replace it. This is serious unprofessional to charge for an estimate.
I live in a senior citizen community and I will make sure that my neighbors not to use this company. Talk about bad business practice - to charge to have an estimate.

I feel like I was scammed. Expect a huge bill and little to no transparency in the invoice. Expect to be signed up for a membership which includes a 15% discount on the days service (but there's not actually a discount). The bill was twice as large as other estimates and I would not have used AAA, except that I had a nice tenant who needed hot water. I've used them for plumbing 3 times. Once with great, reasonably priced results and now twice with horrendous price gouging. Never again.

The tech that came out was very kind. My big problem with the company is when they tried to price gouge me for replacing the water heater. The company said they would waive the 48.00 dispatch fee if we went with their repairs. Well to replace our water heater would have cost 4500$. I will pay the 48 and find somewhere reasonable that will replace it instead. Very disappointing that they are trying to scam people Instead of helping us. We then went to Lowe's and were set up with a kind technician who was willing to quote the correct prices of buying a new water heater and installation at 2200$. A much more reasonable price that isn't trying to make me go absolutely broke

My husband and I have used AAA 3 times now, each time they have been out they are very professional and punctual. Each person is very friendly and the price is standard we find them to be very reasonably priced. We continue to look forward to using them for all future plumbing issues and maintenance.
AAA Service Plumbing Heating and Electric sent a technician to my house who failed to turn off a water line connected to a leaking faucet. Water then ran all night, resulting in extensive damage to my basement. It has been almost two weeks since the technician was at my house. This company has yet to contact me to correct the situation, even though a service manager assured me I would have a Monday resolution. It is now Friday, and I still have unrestored water damage to my home and no working faucet in my kitchen. This business is unprofessional and lacks accountability. The technician was not thorough in his service, resulting in expensive damage.

THESE PIPES ARE CLEAN!!!!!! My tenants shower drain clogged. We worked at it for a few days before I gave up and called these guys. I found they had a 79.00 drain clear special I had already spent 50.00 on stuff to try to clear it on my own to no avail.
2 days later Ron came on the scene as scheduled. Well within the 10-12 time window I was given. Ron explained everything thoroughly and answered some random questions I had about things in my house even. Then he got to work. It took a bit but he didn't give up and call it quits until it was clear!. He also recommended the bio clean to help get things a little clearer in the entire house. Sort of prevent the issue before it's an issue. I have heard great things about the enzyme cleaners so since Ron was so great in explaining them and clearing the drain itself.. I decided it wasn't going to hurt. I am on day 5 and my bottom floor has run it's course.
I was given a 2 week guarantee on the clearing of the drain and at day 5 things are still running smoothly. I am hoping with this bio maintenance I've started I will have many more clog free years. I would certainly recommend asking for Ron G if you've got a clogged drain. He was prompt, personable and cleaned up very well after things were complete.
I was happy to have him in my home.

Hot water tank would not stay lit. We called AAA because they installed our water heater back in 2012. The tech gave us many estimates. Because all of the estimates to replace were so high ($4,534) for anything comparable to what we had, we decided to pay $959 to replace the gas control. This lasted one day and we were feeling stupid for allowing ourselves to be taken advantage of. I contacted them 2 to 3 days later to ask if they could give me a less expensive estimate or some kind of resolution. I was told someone would call me back. I began calling other plumbers and was able to get a new tank installed immediately for a quarter of the price AAA quoted. The plumber that installed our new tank could not believe we paid what we did for the gas control.
AAA never got back to me. We will not use AAA again.
Ordinarily, this company has been great for drain service. However, after talking to their representatives today, they tried to pull a bait and switch, telling me that: (1) my account had been closed due to alleged problems at my house; (2) I had closed the door on their rep's offer for a camera at my last service; and (3) they had alleged pics of the problems from the last visit and from July of 2019- now almost 2 years ago. I explained that no one had ever mentioned any issue to me before. Indeed, I just reviewed the last receipt from them and it says cabled main line through cleanouts in front yard, pulled BACK NOTHING. No warranty. They were obviously trying to upsell me on unneeded services. The owner just called and said that he didn't like the way I spoke to his people and that he didn't want to do business. He didn't listen to my side at all. BEWARE of this company.
I have recommended them in the past. However, they never use the same tech (I use them 4 times a year) and never seem to know what is going on.
Now, the OWNER didn't extend the courtesy of even listening. They lure you in with $36 per cleaning and clearly are trying to sell more services as they threw it back in my face that I did not want an additional scope.
EVERY time I am around when they do the cleaning, their techs always comment that they are not pulling much out. Now, they have done an about face when I was not home. The tech's notes don't lie. Be forewarned as I will never use them again.

Called this morning, they answered the phone. In these times that's half the battle, scheduled the tech. Texted me his information. The Tech showed up on time. Checked out the situation. Explained that the issue we were having was a city issue.
We were NOT charged a service call. I have used AAA once before. Now twice. On my daughters wedding day. They saved the day. I recommend this company to everyone.
I am a small business owner and having a company like AAA that I can rely on is very important in my life.

Izzy came out and actually took furnace apart and did a thorough inspection and then explained everything as well. i would recommend this company
Don't bother with getting a quote from them for installation services of any kind. Reading through other reviews seems my experience is similar to many others. We purchased 6 ceiling fans, 3 of them remote operated and 3 cord operated. No high ceilings or angled ceilings to make the work more challenging. Called for a quote and wouldn't give any type of pricing over the phone and insisted they send an estimator out the next morning and if the cost was appropriate they could install them during the same appointment. Needless to say we turned them around immediately upon receipt of the quote. $741 PER FAN and a grand total of $4,446.... you have got to be effing kidding!!!!!! Tip for the business, do not insult people or waste their time or your employees time sending them out and pulling this BS.

I am replacing a toilet in my guest bath. I've purchased the toilet and called AAA to get a quote on pulling out the old toilet and installing the new one. They would not even give me a ballpark estimate on the phone. They sent out Ethan who was very nice, polite, wore a mask and shoe covers. However, the quote they gave was $756 for a very standard replacement job that most home owners can do themselves.
Being a female, senior citizen, I cannot replace it myself. I'm sure I can find someone to do it for far less than the $756 that AAA quoted. I'll be sure not to call them for service again.

There was a gas smell coming from the area where the water heater resides. My son called AAA. They were quick to send someone. They talked us out of calling public service. $49 trip charge. After arriving they wanted to charge $385 to find out where the leak was coming from. After we declined, we shut off the water heater and the gas smell went away. We determined something needed to be tightened and using You Tube found the vent needed to be vacuumed. $385 felt like a serious gouge. Would not recommend. Ended up paying $49 and when I complained to the company they said nothing and asked for my Credit card number.

We waited for a month for an appointment, then they canceled twice, minutes before the appointment. Refused to provide pricing ahead of time, and now that I see other reviews I know why. Like Blue Sky plumbing, rip off artists.
After I had rearranged my schedule, I was asked to reschedule my appointment because they had more important things to do. Then, when I asked for a small discount for the trouble, I discovered I was misquoted to being with! I wouldn't recommend this place, especially if you don't necessarily have a large, expensive, really important plumbing disaster, as you will be ignored and pushed to the side as unimportant.
I was absolutely scammed by AAA plumbing. They charged me nearly $1,000 to install a new garbage disposal and were incredibly misleading/not transparent about the cost. The technician told me that the garbage disposal itself cost $500 but that they charged one flat rate to make things easy. Upon further investigation, the garbage disposal he installed actually costs $115. When I reached out to AAA plumbing to get an itemized invoice breaking down the cost of parts and labor to understand the pricing discrepancy, I've been told flat out that they can't provide that and have been met with defensiveness and now no response. Absolutely predatory and misleading business practices.
It is extremely rare for me to leave a public review, but in this instance it's warranted. I was price gouged by this company and feel very taken advantage of. I had a failed garbage disposal and a steady leak, and when the technician came to my house he politely explained my options and I purchased the higher end disposal with a 10 year warranty. In the craziness of it all I didn't have time to do my own research and needed a solution fast. I later looked it up, and I was charged over 1,000 for SERVICE alone. This guy spent less than 30 minutes in my home. This is simply unreasonable and I will NEVER use this company again. Beware, and do your own research even if in a pinch, because these people will gladly screw you over.

I called about a leak behind the wall under the kitchen sink. The plumber checked it out and quoted me $500 to fix it. I said fix it. An hour or so later he said it was done. While checking it for leaks he discovered a small drip. He disassembled the repair only to discover the 2 copper pipe had a split. He initially wanted to replace the copper pipe which would have required removing a lot of wall. The quote for that was $8000. Ended up replacing a 4 section of 2 pipe and reconnecting it to the P trap. Cost, $2200. Wish I could find a job that paid that kind of money for a couple of hours work. Learned two thing from that experience. 1. Never call AAA again! 2. Stay there and watch what's being done.

I had a major plumbing disaster -- a clogged toilet and sewage backing up into the tub. If that wasn't awful enough, it flooded the downstairs neighbor's unit.
In desperation I called AAA right before they closed at the recommendation of a neighbor. They scheduled an appointment for 10 AM the next day, and arrived on time - even a little early. Isiah cleared the drain, called me to give an update, and emailed me a detailed report. They even checked in with the neighbors to make sure it wasn't an issue with the main drain pipe.
They are running an incredible special right now to help out the community during the COVID outbreak. Highly recommend for plumbing services!
AAA Plumbing did work at a rental. I received a bill for one amount and the next day that amount had increased by over $159.00. I asked for an itemized accounting of time and parts and to receive it, I had to threaten to stop the credit card payment. This week the tech had to return because of a leak in
a part that was replaced. He stated that within several weeks someone had tampered with pipe. They sent pictures from second visit BUT did not send any pictures of original problem. Pictures were never taken until I stated calling and complaining. I called company several times, heard that tech had discussed with tenant that I was basically known in company and talked about in company for calling and complaining
so much. How unprofessional!!
My suggestion is find another PLUMBER and company!!!!

I had setup the service plan with this company and they never were able to come out as they always had an excuse on the day of my service for their technician. I was rescheduled several times on both the plumbing side and on the HVAC side. I called to cancel my service plan and they didn't even ask why I was canceling lol, they clearly don't even care about their customers. Stay away from this company to avoid any frustration, better service can be found elsewhere.
Ashton from AAA was fantastic! He performed a main line cleaning quickly, and inexpensively. If you need a good plumber, I highly suggest AAA!
Had an appointment since last Saturday for them to come out to look at my furnace. It is acting up and only intermittently working.
They were supposed to be here at 9 am. At 9:30 I get a text message saying they are not going to make it toady, they're too busy and want to reschedule for later in the week. I took a vacation day from work so I could be here to let the technician in. Now I've wasted an entire vacation day. I asked them about a discount for the inconvenience if I re-schedule with them. They offer $50. Lets see... $50 / 10 hours wasted is $5 per hour. Wow.
I say avoid these guys like the plague. You just cant depend on them showing up. From reading other reviews it sounds like the no-show and then try to re-schedule is the standard mode of operation.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
They just quoted me $416 per pound of coolant when other companies charge $50 per pound. This company is a complete scam.
Joshua Sims is an amazing drain technician. We have been using AAA for years and Josh is the best technician we have had. We had a big nasty greasy messy clog in our secondary drain and he did a great job cleaning it up. He was also really fast. By the way, most of our neighbors use AAA and have for years.
I had a leak that was going through drywall, so I called AAA Service. They were so friendly and professional on the phone, and got someone to my house within 2 hours. ... He came, and was very professional and quick to assess the problem. He gave me the details of how much it would cost, and that number did not change. He did tell me that if there was something there that he couldn't see, it could cost more, but it didn't. He had the leak fixed very quickly.
I would recommend this company, and will call them again if I ever need them.
Wow, it looks like there's a love/hate with these guys...but fortunately our experience was a 'love'. I'm just getting around to writing the Yelp review now, but our service was performed on May 25th.
We recently moved into a new (to us) house, and weren't sure where the waterlines, etc were for the evaporative cooler. We had a swamp cooler in our old house, but this one was much newer with more advanced controls, etc. Tyler came out and showed us everything, including where the waterlines and hoses are, and how to use the remote control for the swamp cooler (our old one just had an on/hi/low switch). The scheduling was easy, Tyler was awesome to work with, and their price was very reasonable ($79 for the visit and all the 'education') We definitely recommend this company! :)
BUYER BEWARE! Doing business with this company has incredible risk!! Had a problem with our relatively new hot water heater. Pilot light wouldn't stay lit. I was extremely busy that day and had guests coming to stay with us so the wife called these guys to come take a look and see what could be done. They did show up same day but that's the ONLY positive thing I can say about them.
Wife calls me on the cell phone to give me the update: According to Joe Plumber, the thermocouple is bad and should be replaced. How much you ask? $900! But it cant be done until Monday (4 days away). HOWEVER...he can clean the thermocouple for (get this!) $700.00. I told my wife to pay the man for his service call ($29) and get that THIEF out of our house! Surprised he didn't steal the silverware on his way out.
Just so you know the facts: To replace the ENTIRE HOT WATER HEATER would cost around $1000.00. The thermocouple is $12.95 at Home Depot. The replacement takes about 30 minutes with a hex key and a screwdriver. According to AAA Service, just to CLEAN that $13.00 part is $700.00. UN-BE-LIEVABLE. If you do business with this company, you are absolutely going to get plumbed!
I am assuming that these jokers rely on the fact that most people don't know much about plumbing. My advice is to ALWAYS get a second quote.
ADDITION TO REVIEW: As a reminder, AAA Service wanted $700.00 to clean my thermocouple. Yesterday afternoon, I watched a YouTube video, broke out my handy dandy crescent wrench and a screwdriver, took some steel wool to the Thermocouple and less than 30 minutes later, water heater works just like new! I know some of the 5-Star reviews on here comment that yes they are on the expensive side but worth it. To them I say--$1400.00 per hour ($700 for a 30 minute job)? Thats taking a little bit on the expensive side well beyond reality! Take a look at the reviews. There are a whole bunch of 1 and 2 star reviews and a bunch of 5-star reviews.... nothing in between. I submit for the record that the 5-star reviews are friends and relatives of the owners. The 1 and 2-star reviews are the ones you need to pay attention to.

We had a toilet that I could not get unclogged after my son used it. I just had my lines cleaned by another company 4 days ago, and they could not come out for 24 hours. I called AAA Service Plumbing. They gave me a quote over the phone which I could not believe at how cheap it was especially for service on a Sunday. They were at my house within an hour and Larry went to work. Well, it wasn't the toilet, my newly cleaned lines were so clean that two foreign bodies got caught in the line and plugged it solid! He spent over two hours working on it, cleaned the line again, and reset my toilet all for under $100. Larry was amazing, the company was amazing, and I will for sure use them again!! Yes they tried to up-sell a little but he was not pushy at all. He provided information on services they provide other than plumbing. I'm very happy with the service we received today!
Cancelled on last minute like a bad date - terrible customer service! ..
After waiting 4 days for my appointment to get my broken A/C unit serviced, I was contacted less than an hour before the scheduled time saying the tech will be suddenly tied up the rest of the day and there was zero effort or caring in rescheduling me in a timely manner. Instead of the rep on the phone at least acting like they cared I have no A/C on a scorching hot 98 degree day, I was very bluntly and coldly told I would have to wait ANOTHER ENTIRE 4 DAYS. How could I even trust in that statement now? This isn't Joe Blow HVAC company, I can't believe such a reputable company cared so little and bailed on me so last minute with zero care. I couldn't imagine customer service being any worse!!
This company is a fucking joke.
We had a complete water tank failure at my apartment. AAA showed up early to look at it. The positive experience ends there. They were almost impossible to get a hold of after. They overcharged my landlord by $2500 for the water tank. She had to essentially threaten legal action for them to adjust the bill appropriately. But then I thought the process was done.
Nope. The tank filed the inspection because AAA forgot to put a pan under the tank. Who the hell does that? So they had to come back, but this time they sent their expert to get the job right. Seems to be the crew should have completed a basic necessity for installation (the fucking pan) the first time without need for an expert to fix the problem. So then I thought they were done.
Again, nope. A few weeks later, it rained heavily and there was leaking from above the tank where they installed the exhaust tubing. It isn't awful, but it should exist at all. So a technician came to look at it. He was here for maybe 90 seconds before insisting it would have to be fixed from the roof. He said he'd get an extension ladder and come back to fix the problem. Now, five days later, either he didn't come back or he didn't fix it because it's raining again, and there's leaking from the same area. This replacement should not take FOUR visits to get the entire damn thing right.
This experience has been an absolute trainwreck from the beginning. The AAA employees with whom I had contact were incompetent, unprofessional hacks who more than doubly charged for their shit work. Don't bother. Don't do this to yourself.
I never leave a review so this is how you know I'm frustrated. I called twice to confirm my appointment was today, took time off work, waited during the time window. Guess what? No one showed. Called in and they were clueless about the appointment. What's worse, they didn't care and offered to give me the number of another plumbing company. Do not do
not do not waste your time especially if you have an urgent matter.

Had them come out for a sewer cleaning and our service guy, Kay Gee, was awesome. Talked to us for awhile explaining what he encountered and was extremely knowledgeable. An appointment was easy to get and they worked around our schedule. Great experience with this company. Would definitely recommend Kay Gee and would request him if we ever need anything.
AAA was great to set up a time to come and give us a quote. Communication for them to arrive the next day, as they had a lot of emergency calls was acceptable as well. However, what was unacceptable was attempting to charge over $1,600 for a garbage disposal and new P-trap for kitchen drain. I had another company out that same day that did the exact same job for less than half the money.
I had a clogged drain at a rental property, and AAA came out the next day. The drain seemed to have cleared itself, so they waved all the fees, even though they had spent some time there testing out a bunch of things to make sure everything was good. Fantastic experience!

They were good at first. I bought the service contract, so the regular maintenance calls are free. Have spent a few grand with these guys over the past couple years for various things.
They did some major wiring, and one of the outlets stopped working. I took a day off work to be here between 12-1. No show. They called and said the tech would be late, 2ish. I said fine. Then at 5:00 I called them, still no show. They said, oh, sorry, found out he couldn't come. Would you like to reschedule? I said okay, tomorrow; I need this fixed. They said sorry, no one is available tomorrow, how about Thursday? I couldn't do Thursday and don't want to wait till next week.
That was it for me. The thing they did broke, they no-showed twice in the same day, and couldn't accommodate me the next day. All for a customer who was paying the monthly fee for regular service.
And they didn't seem to care. No Is there anything we can do to keep you as a customer? A discount? A month of service free (all of $18)? Nope.
I see a lot of good reviews. I realize it's hard to find these kinds of companies who do good work, so maybe I just shot myself in the foot. But I'm not going to be treated this way. I'll find someone else, eventually.

The Mainline backed up because of roots in the line. AAA came out and was supposed to clear the mainline of roots. They intentionally poked a hole in the roots but did not clear the line and it backed up the next day. Mason (salesperson) came out and said he hasn't seen a line this bad in a long time and it needs to be replaced asap. I called At Your Service Plumbing and they said, no the line just needs to be cleaned well and just clear it once a year. I also showed the video of the line before the cleaning to Green Mountain Water (utility company) they said the line is fine just needs to be cleaned. Mason also said when you clean a line it brings in more roots so you cannot maintain a line by just cleaning it periodically. Green Mountain Water Company said that was not true. AAA Service lied to me, do not use this company.
Our main sewer line clogged on Friday night. We called AAA early Saturday morning and they said they had a special deal going on clearing sewer line clogs. One of their guys showed up by late morning with a roto-rooter machine, took a quick look at the sewer access for his machine and was finished in about 30 minutes. Fast friendly service at an excellent price. What more could we ask for?
Had a drain (tech) come out and clear my kitchen drain, so I thought. Seven days later it's backed up again, The other tech that came out did nothing but bash the first one and said he wasn't as experienced as he was, gave all these excuses why it wasn't cleaned out properly, and then after him bragging about how much more experience he had, here I am eight days later and it's backed up again. They also advertise running cameras, and water jetting. But when I request that from the tech he says those don't work that good & their camera can't turn certain corners and neither does their water jetter. So why do you advertise specific services that you cannot handle. I can't believe I had to have two techs come out within 14 days and now my kitchen sink is backed up again. I will never ever use these guys again. Beware

I recently booked an appointment on a Wednesday (for the following Monday am) to fix a leaking toilet. Only to get a text from their great customer service team Sunday night to say they had too many 911's (that came in that day...) and they would not be showing up for my pre-scheduled appointment the following am.
I asked to talk to their manager and/or someone to explain to me why would anyone ever schedule an appointment when they feel they could squeeze more money out of 911 paying customer.....and not keep their pre-scheduled appointments. It has been weeks and no response from anyone at AAA.
If you value your time, don't bother calling them. You will be disappointed or cancelled for someone they feel will need to spend more $$ with them.
Sadly this was not the first time I have had issues with AAA.

Had the company come out to give an estimate (couldn't do that over the phone) to install a toilet. We had everything in place in the upstairs bathroom, including the newly purchased toilet. They wanted to charge $749 to install. That is outrageous. And tried to sell the monthly service plan. This place is a rip-off for plumbing services.

We had this company out for an estimate on a difficult install. Let me give them credit for coming out quickly, giving an estimate, and talking on the phone about the issues.
We needed a detailed bill for two reasons: the adjuster was requiring it for our insurance claim, and as customers being presented with $15,000 estimate, we need to know what we are paying for. I was told this was difficult and they only do one total bill. Finally, we got somewhat of a breakdown. In an email Andrea said we do flat rate pricing generally, and just to break this pricing out was a project all on its own.
This made us as customers feel like we were inconveniencing them asking for details on a $15,000 bill! Our hot water heater had been leaked on and corroded, but for some reason AAA also wanted to replace the heater for an additional $7,600! With the four other estimates we got, not one other company saw a reason to replace the heater, and that would not have been covered under insurance because it did not get water damage. We finally got somewhat of a bill break down. The expansion tank was $650. Anyone doing research can find out this is about $150-200 installed, not even close to $650. I understand a business has to make money, but I'd rather see fair charges under labor than a ridiculous price for something like this. Out of the blue I got a call and then email from Judy asking about the estimate and wanting a copy; seems odd she couldn't get a copy from her own company and the customer had to send it? Then never heard more from her. We were about to move forward with the project when I wanted to have a final conversation with Mike, the owner. When I asked about $650 charge for a $200 expansion tank, and I said I wouldn't buy a used car for $7000-15,000 without asking a lot o questions, he said, would you ask for the price of the parts in the engine? Rude! And I was done. We didn't like the way this company made us feel as though we were a burden. Obviously they did not want our business. And the $7600 new heater was BS and wasn't necessary. Within a few days, we got the detailed estimate we needed, we had polite conversations with the new company, we paid $200 for an expansion tank, and we were not told to replace the heater. Problem solved, do your research.
We have used AAA for several sewer clean outs. Today we had Larry. He was awesome! He came to our home with a mask and was socially distant. He was fast and prompt and took pics of our roots in our sewer. We like AAA because they text when they are coming and provide us name and picture of technician. It's nice to know who is arriving! They also have a drain clean out special right now! 36 bucks!
We had a significant clog in our kitchen drain that all of my DIY attempts could not remedy, so reached out to AAA based on their $79 advertised price and being a long-term listing on a referral list I have used before.
We received a next day appt. and the technician, John S. was on time and professional. Due to the layout of the pipes, his machine had trouble maneuvering to the affected area and after much troubleshooting he realized he needed an additional part to fix the problem. He offered to return the next day and we were not charged for the initial visit. Upon his return, he spent more time troubleshooting and patiently working until he accessed the clog and cleared it.
While he did attempt to up-sell me on a drain cleaning product, I did not feel pressured and politely declined. It took John 3 hours over two visits to remedy our issue, yet the price remained the same discounted rate I was initially quoted. I was pleased with the outcome and will utilize this company again if the need arises (hopefully not!).

Do not use this company. Complete rip off!!! They wanted to charge my 89 year old parents $2700.00 for a new water heater and refused to give a breakdown of the cost!!!! Shocked, I showed up to intervene and they reduced the bill to 2,000.00 still with no explanation of the bill........
This company is crooked. They came out to my house for a leaky shutoff valve under the kitchen sink, said they don't work on this model sink and then presented me a bill for $40. They didn't do anything except upsell me a new sink and faucet for $1,200. Don't do business with them.
I used this company several times with no problems. Spent thousands. One day they came out after a year on a repair they had done previously. I had a receipt showing a 7 year warranty. Gordon tried to tell me my problem was not covered. I argued with him until he relented but I had to complain to BBB to get it fixed. The owner accused my of using the f word with his tech, many many times Right, I am at work in a call center on a recorded line using the f word. Cannot recommend this company.
This was seriously such a ridiculous experience. My boyfriend and I run an air bnb out of our basement and one of the guests told us we had a slow draining sink. I googled and saw this company had a 79 special so we went for it. After the tech, not plumber, tech, was here for 3 hours he told us he couldn't fix the drain but fixed the slow draining shower. Next thing we know, our sink is now leaking and BAD, with a new guest checking in at 3 that day. So now I call them and demand someone come out to fix it, having to stay another day at home from work, he comes and says he fixed the leak. Two days later we are leaking again. Another tech comes out checks it out and says he has to send a real plumber to solve it. So now the 4th guy comes and another day home from work, they say pipes need to be replaced and it will be $1100 but they will do it for 800 if we do it right then and there. YEAH RIGHT. Meanwhile they charged us the $79 two different times because of the techs they sent out for their own mistakes.
Flash forward to now. We had been managing the leak with a bowl that we swap out in between guests and ask them not to run water. We contacted Tyco plumbing and they did everything for $620 and everything is good as new and was handled properly in ONE DAY! I'm telling you, don't waste your time for a cheap fix it will just cause more trouble than it's worth.
Don't be fooled by their $49 service charge. I needed a regulator replaced and the quote was $839. This is outrageous. I've had to replace regulators before. Called another plumber, licensed and insured and it was replaced for $239. $600 less.
They suck. Hap appointment scheduled for a week they email day before. I take off work lose pay! They have the audacity to call 115 telling me they can't make it. Want to schedule Thursday so I can lose more money. Concern zero. The person calling didn't care. Try a different plumber. Plenty of good ones. I'll be calling BBB
We canceled before they ever came out. First appointment was rescheduled by them. Second one they called when they were supposed to be there (1st slot of the day) and said they'd be here in 30 minutes. They were still late. We called to cancel and they didn't even question it. Clearly they don't care about doing business with us.

I had these guys come out in 2011 to replace a water heater - OK service and price at that time. They left their tag on the water heater with a phone number. Flash forward to this week, when I had two (!) water heaters fail at the same time, probably due to a water pressure spike. Bad luck for me.
I called AAA because their tag was on my old heater, what a mistake! Believe what you read on the one star reviews. They quoted me $4,000 for one new water heater, a new expansion tank, a new pressure relief valve, associated plumbing, and installation. They would not provide an itemized list of charges, the tech said because they don't do that (WTF?)... I knew I was getting ripped off, but I needed the work done promptly, so unfortunately I went ahead. I just looked up the parts cost on line, which were hard to determine, but could not come to more than $1,300. Two techs came out, one guy was explained as in training. They both were there for 4 hours for the install. Even counting the trainee's time, that means I paid $1,700 for 8 hours of work. I'll do the math for you - $212 per hour!!!
Maybe these guys are OK when they are doing routine things for you, However it seems like they are vultures when they think they have you over a barrel.
I signed off on the work on their Ipad, and was told I would receive a bill on my e-mail. That didn't happen. I called them today (3 days later) and received a bottom line bill. I then requested an itemized bill. I will update this post if/when I receive that itemized bill. However, based on other posts, I am not holding my breath!
Update 11/16/18: I called the office one week ago and asked for an itemized bill. I was told that is not their policy, and if I wanted an itemized bill I would have to ask the owner. I left a message with my request. One week later, no itemized bill, and no contact from them.
Yesterday the Jefferson County building inspector was out. I received a copy of the application that AAA filled out for my inspection. The form has a box for total valuation. AAA's total valuation was $2,000! I will pursue this issue with the BBB!

This is a review of Jamie H who works for AAA Service Plumbing, Heating and Electric.
Is a superb technician! He really analyzed the problem six ways to Sunday! I would request him in the future, without a problem! Not to mention he has a cracked rib. He worked though every possible situations but at first he said it was probably the filter, which it was in the end. However, once again he worked every possible problem he could encounter. He did an excellent job!

If you like getting ripped off...these are your guys!!!
I had to snake a main waste line of which was cleaned with only a 2 inch head in a 4 inch line for roots. A month later they were out again. Of course there warantee is only 15 days!!!
And to add insult to injury it would cost 12,000 dollars to fix it!!!!
Every plumber I've talked to since has told me that these people are in it for the big payout...
Pretty sad.....if they had a zero star rating I would've done that!!! Also the last guy that was out I'm pretty sure was on coke or something!!!
I called the Arvada AAA Service Plumbing, Heating, Electric. I told Barb the apt. setter I had two problems: 1) utensil stuck in kitchen drain, and 2) water from shower head is cold, but water elsewhere is hot. Barb said she'd send out a drain tech for #1 and a plumber for #2. She set the time between 12 and 2 on Sat. for the drain tech and 12 and 2 on Wed. for the plumber.
I mentioned that if they call me ahead of time and I don't answer, to NOT cancel the job but to come over anyways, because I might not be able to answer the phone, and to just leave a voice mail. Barb assured me they normally call when they're on the way over.
On Saturday someone rings my doorbell at ten to 12. There was no phone call ahead of time. Last time I checked, between 12 and 2 means between 12 and 2. So at ten to 12, when I was about to brush out my tangled hair and put it up out of the way, the doorbell rings. It was AAA Service.
I pointed out he was supposed to come between 12 and 2, and that it was ten to 12 and I was not ready yet and needed a few minutes. I also asked him if he had called earlier to let me know he was coming.
He seemed confused and mentioned that normally AAA Service emails customers to let them know they're on the way. Five minutes later I let him in.
I voiced disbelief over the email alert method because how the heck is someone supposed to know an email has come in unless they're sitting in front of their computer staring at their in-box?
I then told the AAA Service tech that a utensil was stuck in the drain. He informed me that he was a plumber and not a drain tech and couldn't do the job. I told him that I had clearly explained to the appointment setter that a utensil was stuck in the disposal, that I never told her it was backed up.
He ran the water a few times, felt around inside the disposal and didn't seem to know what utensil stuck in drain meant, and asked if the drain was backed up. He then asked if I thought the utensil was in the pipe.
Though drain is another word for pipe, AAA Service needs to realize that the average homeowner is going to say utensil stuck in drain when it's actually stuck in the disposal blades. But the apt. setter DID tell me she'd send out a drain tech, so I don't think AAA Service's mistake can be fully blamed on semantics.
The AAA Service plumber made me feel that I had to explain the entire incident of how I came to believe a utensil was stuck in the drain (or blades, disposal, WHATEVER). Geez, when a utensil accidentally slips down the disposal and the customer says it's stuck, this obviously means it's in the blades, not the pipe!!!
The AAA Service plumber showed me his work order on his phone, which said backed up drain. I told him that was NOT what I told the apt. setter. Ultimately he told me he couldn't do the job.
So the Arvada AAA Service bombed on several fronts: #1) Appointment setter said she'd send out a drain tech, but instead sent out a plumber. #2) Someone (presumably the appointment setter) gave the wrong information about my problem (said the drain was backed up instead of utensil stuck), #3) Tech showed up 10 minutes early. 12 means 12, not 11:50. And #4) He never called ahead of time to let me know he was coming!
I'm going to cancel the Wed. apt., which, by the way, the appointment setter was unable to give me an estimated price range for. I will never use AAA Service of Arvada again.

Don't believe the Google Recommended reviews. I made an appointment with this company to come out for a heavily leaking shower head. They canceled on me 10 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive. I had already waited longer than I should have for them to arrive, and now I have to start at square one with a leaky shower that is about to flood my bathroom.
Unreliable. Poor customer service.
Quoted $2700 for a 40 gallon water heater. I was floored. $500 for the heater and $2200 in labor. Wow, I'm in the wrong business. Very pleasant guy who came out to give the quote. Same day service and called to let us know he was on the way.
Unable to manage their schedule, this company cancelled twice at the last second for an important plumbing call that had originally been scheduled days ahead of time, and rescheduled another 2 day out, putting my brand new $4000 lawn at risk. Both times I had made special work arrangements to accommodate their needs.
After having cancelled both appointments, they were unwilling to consider another appointment fewer than 5 days out, with no sense of urgency regarding the inconvenience they had already created.
It was the worst performance of any reputable service company I have ever experienced.
I would recommend AAA Service for any plumbing issues. Ask for DUSTIN DEWITT, as he was excellent. Very polite and explained everything he was going to do and the exact price it would cost, which was extremely reasonable. Thank you Dustin for your excellent work.
Nicolai and Alen came out the same day I called to unclog my kitchen drain. They were both very personable, friendly, professional, and conscientious. They thoroughly cleaned up after unclogging the drain, leaving no mess for me.
I will definitely call AAA Service again and hopefully get Nicolai and Alen.

Simple, fast and affordable. Our technician Jim was very friendly and very efficient in cleaning our sewer line. When I called to set an appointment, they had an opening that day within a couple of hours. I would highly recommend AAA Service Plumbing to any one.
Wow. I just got done with a plumber who came to my house to uninstall 1 faucet, install another, and fix my garbage disposal. I spent the $30 trip charge fee so that this guy could come out and tell me I was looking at close to $1000 to do the work (I think probably 4 hours of labor and minimal materials). In other words, I paid $30 to AAA Service so that someone could come to my home and try to rip me off. I can't believe these people aren't embarrassed when they come to your home to overcharge you and then take $30 from you to do it!!!
VERY HIGH PRICES!
BEWARE
Did you know you can purchase a faucet from Amazon and one of their sub-contractors will install it for 111.00 - 118.00.
AAA charges something like $767.00 to install a bathroom faucet?
I hired this company based on a neighbor's recommendation. I found them to be a complete rip off. They replaced a garbage disposal. I had never had to replace one before so I was unfamiliar with the costs. They charged me $1,000. It didn't sit right so I later looked up the part that I bought. It retails for $150 and the installation (the entire trip) took less than 30 minutes. I called to ask an itemized invoice and some answer. The receptionist said the owner would call me back. It has been three weeks and I haven't heard a thing. Do not use this company.

This company is a scam, we called them to get a second opinion as another company said we needed a new furnace immediately. Turns out, they conveniently agreed and have us a $10k bid for a new system. Luckily a friend of ours knew an independent HVAC guy and he was able to fix our system for $300. Don't let these predatory companies take your hard earned money.
We asked AAA to come out and evaluate a few plumbing related issues. They came on schedule which was nice. BUT-
We had a faucet in our kitchen that needed to be replaced. I had purchased a new one that we needed to have installed. Easy Peasy.
Guess how much their estimate was. $150? No keep guessing...$300. Getting warmer. Ok I'll tell you. SIX HUNDRED FORTY FOUR DOLLARS! That's right...$644. I asked the guy how long he thought it might take. It depends...different sinks take longer than others and we charge a flat rate
Ok guy two hours? One hour, how long?!
I'd say one
Extortion. Shameful pricing.
My husband got it done in 45 minutes. I would never ever call these guys. Seriously...who in their right mind can charge $644 for less than an hour of work...I mean for that kind of money I would expect Peyton Manning to show up and replace my faucet.
I have been a member of AAA Service for many years. Their yearly inspection service keeps your home systems running smoothly.
Tyler G. inspected our HVAC System today. He was on time, polite, respectful and friendly. Very professional and thoroughly completed the job! An asset to AAA Service! Thank you, Sherry
My lawyer is less expensive per hour. I had them come in and install a few light fixtures and replace a few switches. The work took about 6 hours and was done mostly correct. (I need to get them back to have a look at one of the fixtures).
The initial quote was $2200. After much back and forth I was able to get a 10% discount. This works out to over $300 per hour. I really wanted the work done so I just went ahead.
I wish I had known in advance. I have since been warned by others in my building.
If price is of no concern then go ahead.
For lack of better words Virgil Brink was da bomb!!! This young man was very personable, courteous and explained in great detail everything that was needed to be done and once I agreed to have it done he performed it very professional and thorough. This Young gentlemen gives your company a good name. I will definitely use you guys again!!!!
I called AAA to clean my drain. The had same day appointments. They sent a man named Isaiah Romero who was friendly, and knowledgeable. Isiah gave great details of what needed to be done. Another great experience! I will continue to use AAA plumbing.
Quick, professional and friendly service. Our boiler was malfunctioning and they came right out, offered a competitive quote, and got the job done efficiently. Everyone we have worked with has been very friendly, especially Bud, who has come out to the house several times to check on other issues we've had and made himself available for more questions. Everyone who has come to our home has been respectful and kept the house clean by wearing booties and covering areas as needed.
I called them out to give me an estimate on replacing a toilet flange. They bid $400 to pull the toilet, and $1600 for the flange, total $2,000. A week earlier they came out to snake the drain and charged me $40 to pull the toilet! Bait and switch.. $40 to $400.. I called around and got another plumbing company, Rooter Guy, and they did the entire flange replacement and toilet pull for $312. You do not want to use this company.
Called and gave specific instructions as to what we needed. Had to wait until the next day. Kind person came out only to explain that, oh, they don't do that. Have no idea who took the call. Apparently the dispatchers do not have to understand what service is being requested. Wasted 24 hours with them.

We had Greg out to service our tankless water heater. The water heater was working fine before he arrived but we needed the annual maintenance on it. After he left it starting throwing out cold water. He came back two more times to look at it and the problem kept happening. His recommendation was to replace the unit (it's only 8 years old and they should last about 15 years). I got a second opinion and this other company wanted to try and clean it again before replacing the entire unit. Because of the way Greg put the unit back together (he forced a screw back into the unit stripping the screw so if it's taken apart it cannot be put back together), we have to replace the gas valve - a $700 part (including labor). I'm so disappointed that a simple cleaning turned into us spending so much money on something that worked before AAA Services came to work on it. I will not be using them in the future. I left a message about the disappointing service with their customer service manager but never received a call back.
Called about my furnace not working correctly and got a same day appt. Ryan P came out and was very nice and honest. He fixed the problem for the least expense option and did not try to sell me a new furnace, just suggested to look into one in the next few years because of the age. I would highly recommend and have always had great service with this company.

I called AAA, my neighbor had referred me to them. I was very clear that I only wanted a quote for a Lennox, Trane or Carrier A/C system - only that! I mentioned it multiple times. The rep showed up at my house and was she so very excited to give me a quote on a Goodman system and couldn't stop going on about their ten year warranty, how much better it was than the big three, told me about a lawsuit against one of them. I responded that I had been quite clear about what I wanted; she persisted and I finally relented with the condition I get a quote for a Lennox system also. Of course, Goodman is cheap so the quote was much less if you don't care about the system! Finally she said they would have to send me a quote. FOUR days later I called since I hadn't gotten a quote and they continued to sell me on Goodman! The quote for the Lennox A/C was $2K more than what Cooper charged me (through Costco) for an entire heating and air system, humidifier and wi-fi thermostat AND the system I got was an Lennox upgrade to what they quoted. After the third call from AAA wanting to know when they could install my Goodman A/C I told them that they needed to stop calling me and that I would not do business with them not only because of the price, but, more important, they couldn't listen and hear what the customer wanted. Their salesperson only could sell what she wanted.

These guys were great until the state did their inspection which they failed and then they came out to order parts to fix it 6 weeks ago and still no word. Fail an inspection, FIX IT IMMEDIATELY.
Had an appointment scheduled for 7/16/16 to have A/C serviced. The appointment was to occur between 2 and 4 o'clock according to the e-mail confirmation. Made plans around moving, work, and everyone's schedules. I received a call at almost 3:00pm the day of the appointment saying the only technician on duty could not make it due to an installation that would take the remainder of the day and that the appointment would need to be rescheduled. A courtesy call well before the appointment would have been courteous, not during the scheduled time. I cancelled three other HVAC appointments. Based on other reviews, I see others have had the same experience with appointment cancellations.
I will not recommend AAA Service Plumbing, Heating & Electrical to anyone.

Extortion. Completely inflated prices. If a job can be done by the homeowner, at a small cost, they wont tell you that, as good customer service would dictate. They will just do the job, and price it out 35X more that it would cost for you to do it yourself. No kidding....35X more than it cost for me to fix. They were conna charge me $270 plus $200 in labor for a part, that I could pick up at Home Depot for $9.98. Long story short, this company is more expensive than several others out there. Stay away from these guys. Good Business Ethics would be to tell the homeowner, to try to fix a minor problem themselves, instead of charging $500 for it. If the homeowner couldnt do it, give them a call and they will come out and do it. Nice try guys. You guys will never be called by me again, and we will deter ALL friends, co-workers and family from your services.
After being told by AAA that they would need to replace the entire main line and that it would cost $18,000 - $20,000 I decided to get a second opinion. It turns out that the line is FINE - they just didn't do a good job of clearing it, which is why it kept backing up. Note that AAA never sent me the video they took of the line, despite several phone calls asking them for it - now I know why. They thought I'd be dumb enough to just hand over big money for them to replace it, even though it doesn't need it. $200 later and I have the line cleared AND video showing that it's clear. What a scam.

We have used AAA for a variety of plumbing problems. The technicians are prompt, professional, and kind to the old folks. Scheduling the work is very efficient and the communication with the company is outstanding. I highly recommend AAA
This company canceled a critical service they guaranteed would get completed scheduled 24 hours in advice with 1 hour notice. They refused to provide any compensation and we were forced to pay an emergency rate with another company

First, I want to say that I have had a great experience with the company and their technicians. And they usually do really great work and get to you fast. However, the pricing is SO inflated. We were quoted $3,000 for 3 toilets. I took a look at Lowe's and we were able to get 3 toilets PLUS install for only $1,350ish. Another example is the charge for an electronic air filter....$500! THAT IS CRAZY! I looked online and there are way more affordable options for under $150. The other issue I have is we have been charged for travel multiple times by the same technician. He will come out, look at something, and give us a quote. If we don't jump on it immediately he charges us a travel fee. I called the office and they said we shouldn't be charged. That was kind of our final straw. It's a shame because the technicians and employees are (usually) always SO great! The pricing is just beyond ridiculous. We only call for very very minor or member included services now.

I purchased a sump pump from AAA 3 years ago and we noticed it hadn't been working, so we called them again. I was willing to go with them again because I thought I had a fair deal.
I paid $750 for a new sump pump. Without researching I felt that was fair...found out NOT.
The same representative Gordon came to inspect. At first I didn't realize that it was the same AAA Rep. When Gordon pulled up the sump pump he said this is the problem, this is the cheapest sump pump in the market. I reminded him that AAA is the one who installed it and he was questionably shocked. He said he didn't think so. I looked for the receipt and sure enough, it was Gordon who installed it.
He apologized and gave me a new quote of $1057 to replace the sump pump. It said it was the best sump pump Zoeller M53 (which costs about $164.00). He also gave me another quote of roughly $864 for a cheaper sump pump. Can you believe that.
Not one time did he offer to make any efforts to give me credit or save face.
This time I researched. The highest quote was $585 and lowest quote was $300. For upgraded sump pumps - Zoeller M98 Cast Iron.
Plus, there is nothing wrong with our drainage pit and the check valve that Gordon put in 3 years ago, was the cheapest model at Home Depot.
AAA should be embarrassed with how they represent themselves. I hope people read this before they decided to hire AAA.
They over charge and no wonder Gordon has been with them 20+ years, he pulls the wool over potential client's eyes.
Sad Sad Sad!

AAA service plumbing, heating & electric is top-notch, professional, courteous and knowledgable. Great staff. All all masters in their areas of expertise. Appreciated the thoroughness. Thanks Jamie H!!!

This company is a scam. The flat rate pricing is a total rip off. We had them clean an AC unit and replace a furnace motor. A few days later the furnace was leaking....they said it was the condensate pump and wanted over $700 to replace. I did some research, the pumps cost about $70 and take less than 15 minutes to install. I bought one myself, plugged in, connected a tube and put a PVC pipe into the reservoir. It took me longer to take out of the box than to install.
It took me 3 calls just to get a correct receipt for the first work that was done. Upon learning what they wanted to charge for a condensate pump I was sure they ripped us off on the cleaning and the motor replacement. I called to discuss the price gouging the company does they told me they would refund some of the money but would need to do some research on costs of materials. They told me they would call me back, no return call and no refund. Beware, they will rip you off!

Greg and his co-worker arrived within the time frame we agreed to. Both gentlemen were courteous and efficient--they got right to work. When they diagnosed the electrical problems, they were both very clear in their explanations, and backed up their findings and recommendations in writing. All of that would be something I would expect from professionals. The 5-star rating comes from their genuine personalities and their commitment to providing excellent customer service. Greg discovered that our transformer was hot and smelled like burning rubber. He took care of the call to Xcel Energy and he even offered to stay until they arrived--it was Friday night at 6:00 p.m.! No doubt that we will rely on AAA for future services. Thanks for the quality care.
The worst!!! Save yourself a whole lot of headache. They charge by the job not the actual hours or materials used. They use some sort of flat rate policy regardless if it takes them 1/2 hour or more.....FN stupid...Never again!!!
Buyer Beware!
We recently purchased a house and found some extensive plumbing issues to address after closing. Based off a family referral we called AAA Service Plumbing out to bid the work along with two other mid sized companies. Our bids came back as follows:
AAA Plumbing and Services: $14,200
My Denver Plumber: $4500
Cady Plumbing 2: $4165
Our work called for replacing 20 feet of cast iron, including fittings with 3 inch PVC, 10 feet of 1/2 inch copper, one ball valve, and a water heater pan. I was told that I was being charged for 18 hours or labor (2 journeymen plumbers, full day each).
By my research, I could go buy this part list from a non-wholesale distributor for $500 on the high end. Lending them the benefit of the doubt, and marking it up to $1000 in parts, this means I had $13,200 in labor. Let's see...
$13,200 / 2 plumbers = $6,600 / 9 hours labor = $733.33 per plumber, per hour in labor.
I called the main offices to get a detail of their billable rate for journeymen plumbers and was informed that, To protect our customers from overcharges, our bidders provide a flat rate per job versus an hourly rate. If this was the bid you received, this is the accurate bid for the project.
They say time is a valuable thing, I just haven't found anyone that will pay me $733 per hour for my time. I decided not to pay these gentlemen that rate either. Recognizing that I have had family that has been happy with their work in the past, I can simply suggest that you do homework on the by project rate that you are being charged before using AAA Service Plumbing.

Horrible service. Was charged twice for a product the did wrong the first time. The technician refused to take his equipment out of this vehicle until we paid in full for a second time for an issue they didn't fix the first time. I would highly recommend to never use this company. Don't bother calling and hoping to speak to a manager. They don't call you back, and ignore you and try and shift the blame onto you. Customer is always right. Don't talk down to your customer, and don't expect to get paid for not doing your job right. I was warned by several people of how horrible this company is, and sure enough they were right.

AAA came out after we thought we just needed a main line clear, and it ended up being our whole line that needed replaced all the way through the yard. Dustin, the technician that first came out tried everything he could to get our main line cleared out the day before Independence day so that we could have at least partial service, and although he was unsuccessful, he tried everything he could. With the holiday the next day we couldn't get any work done but I got a call from Andrea at the office on Friday going over all the options and pricing for the work after another technician had gone in and tried to scope the line, but wasn't able to clear past 45 feet. Today, Manny came out and had our yard dug up and showed us exactly what was going on with our piping and was transparent throughout the entire process. He let us know of all the possibilities of what we could be dealing with and made sure we were well informed before making a decision to move forward. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with a company, from first to last contact they have been nothing but respectful, courteous, and extremely helpful. I would absolutely recommend them to do any plumbing work - I feel comfortable that I know I am getting the best service and not getting scammed price wise. Absolutely amazing service from an outstanding company!
Ken M. visited a rental property a few weeks back and was great. He was prompt, friendly and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend AAA for any plumbing issues.

Chris M was professional and efficient. He solved my water problem quickly. Very happy w his services. 1.5hrs of work to replace a small above ground basin with a plastic pipe.
Cost was surprisingly very high for the work. I know Chris cannot control that since he works off a playbook they give him. Turns out that for the 1.5 hrs of good work he put in, their hourly rate was about $334/hr based on the $502 bill I received.
I decided to pay for the service since I needed the work done but I would have gone w someone else if the cost was presented up front. Oh and the show up fee was IN ADDITION to the cost of repair.
Again, Chris M did great work and I'm happy w the outcome BUT cost was too high but when you need the work done, you're kind of stuck...
There was an online coupon on their website which wouldn't print out or electronically send but they did honor the coupon of $36.
Last, AAA did call me for feedback later in the day. After hearing me out, the lady said that someone from management would be calling me.
I will update this review if and when they do contact me.
Oh and if you give them a credit card, it will cost you even more.

This is the second time Jason J provided prompt, friendly, and outstanding service (kitchen drain cleanout). James Wesoloski came to our house on time and was very polite (even put on single use booties to minimize my cleanup). He took his time explaining all the possible reasons behind our faulty line linked to the washing machine. He was very considerate and friendly, as much to us as to our pets. He quickly pinpointed the problem and seemed to know exactly how to fix it (without overcharging on diagnostics). All in all, he did a great job and I would honestly recommend him fully.

Great company to deal with. I had used them to replace my hot water heater and called them again for furnace issues. Guys came out and seemed to be an electrical problem. Jeff Roberts, the electrician came out and fix it. Jeff explain in detail what needs to be done next (old house) in order to prevent any further problems. Jeff was spot on an very professional.
had my drain cleaned out today by Jim Anderson ,,, and I was worried about letting someone into my messy house,,, but Jim was amazingly friendly, professional, extremely skilled at his work and took care of my problem in a very short time time in my old house that was built in 1894... very reasonably priced... I could not recommend any more highly

I was very surprised when I contact WAA through the website on a Saturday evening and received a call Sunday morning to schedule a main line clean out. No surcharge for Sunday. In fact, I received the advertised pricing.
The really nice surprise was the tech, Randy. Great sense of humor and in a great mood. He didn't mind at all that it was a Sunday. It was fantastic to have a wonderful personality around when I had to change my plans for the day to deal with crap - literally.
Thank yoh!
This is one of the best companies. We have been using AAA for almost 4 years any time we need heating and plumbing issues we call them thanks to our neighbors recommending them. The techs are always helpful and thorough. They always give us tips on maintaining our old and new units. Thank you AAA!
I have to share..... This is by far the best Company I have EVER reviewed. From the start, I dealt with amazing people to answer my questions and then schedule my visit. On the day of my appointment, it was as if Uber or LYFT was arriving. I even received a text message and picture of the Technician who would be arriving at my home (seriously Comcast, you need this). My Technician was Andre and I would recommend him to anyone. He was so professional from beginning to end. He was pressed, his equipment was spotless and his Van was sparkling. The quoted job was what I received and I did not have ANY additional costs. He answered all of my questions and suggested products from his Company to help us in the future. I could tell how highly he respected his Company, that I was in good hands. This was a difficult job and I felt like everything was going to be O.K. when he finished. After today, I will always make sure to call Andre Quintana for any of my emergency household needs... I've never experienced such a great experience. I have already recommended him and the Company to my friends and Property Management Co-Workers.

This company completely took advantage of my 82 year old grandmother today when replacing her garbage disposal!
This company would not provide us with a quote or even an estimate over the phone when inquiring about getting the disposal fixed. They show up, my grandmother authorizes them to LOOK at the disposal (they got her signature here), she's NEVER given a quote, price or anything, the work is preformed and NOW we're informed it will be $450 (when all competitors are in the $200-$350 range).
This company does not have morals. I will say that I'd like to leave the technicians out of this because they did do their job. Technicians are highly skilled it is the COMPANY and their ETHICS that I question.
Isiah came out from AAA to fix a clogged drain. He was professional and thorough. I've use AAA for my heating system. I recommend Isiah and AAA.
The technician we worked with (James W) was very curious. He showed up early to the appointment. He could have talked us into a more expensive service, but James explained the drain situation to me and snaked our drain twice to resolve our drain issue.

Definitely do not recommend AAA. Had a boiler inspected when purchasing a fourplex. 4 months later had issues with the boiler not shutting down. AAA came out and said we needed a new boiler, which we paid to have replaced. Had issues with the second boiler. They replaced the zone valve on that one. Now the pump has also failed... potentially because the reservoir was dry. Now we may need to replace the whole second boiler.... My question is: how do two boilers need to be replaced that passed inspection and why do things continue to break after a AAA visit?
A little over a year ago, I hired AAA Service Plumbing to come out and clear my main sewer line. I had had the line scoped less than six months prior and while there is a low spot that collects debris over time, the line itself is still in great shape and just needs a regular cleaning. The tech from AAA was adamant that I needed to schedule a complete main line replacement and tried to convince me to do that instead of the cleaning. I insisted on the cleaning and felt that I had to sit with him and make sure the line was cleared properly. What do you know, once he cleared the debris in the low spot, everything was fine.
Now for the most outrageous part, while I was in my office writing a check for the service, the technician took it upon himself to stick AAA advertising stickers on all my HVAC equipment. My furnace, water heater, and the cleanout for the main line now have permanent and obnoxious stickers plastered on them. As if that wasn't enough, this guy then went in my kitchen without permission and stuck one on the garbage disposal! I didn't see all the stickers until after he left but as soon as I did, I called them to complain. These ridiculous stickers have a very strong adhesive so they don't come off. Suffice to say, I got an apology but no offer to come out to remove the stickers or even a service discount.
The drain trim on my bathtub was rusted so I called these guys to replace it.
They wanted to charge me $500.
FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS.
To replace a part that is literally $20.
Do not call these people unless you want to be completely ripped off. They have a ton of good google reviews but they must all be fake.

I am a first time home buyer, so this was the first incident I have experienced with a plumbing issue. I originally called AAA Service first and made an appointment for the next day. I ran into a neighbor that night who suggested a different company. I called them and they came down and checked things out. They literally wanted to charge me 3 1/2 times the amount that AAA Service was going to charge. I ended up keeping my appointment w AAA Service and Thankfully I did.
A gentlemen by the name of Mike showed up to my place right on time. I was very impressed with his professionalism and courtesy. He was able to fix the problem within no time. Overall I had a wonderful experience and I would refer AAA Service to anyone who asks. I have already provided AAA Services information to a few friends. I am very pleased and will use them again in the future!

Tony was awesome! He was out to the house within an hour of the initial call to the number we found on the website. Tony worked relentlessly to make sure he did everything he could to get the drain flowing correctly again and after a couple of tries, we are good to go.
It was no easy job. He went above and beyond to make the experience as great as possible given the situation and the old house that he was working with.
If we ever have any drain issues again, Tony will hands down be our first call.
AAA just finished a complete electrical rewire of my 1950s house. I am absolutely satisfied with the expert installation, the informative manner of the crew, the expert advice and consultation with the chief electrician, and their work ethic. They showed up every day, on time, navigated the difficult spaces of my home, and have left me not only a satisfied customer, but feeling so much safer with a completely upgraded and up-to-date new electrical system. I did no comparative bids, but I consider their costs fair for the expert work done on my home.
Jason was prompt, courteous, and professional. He answered all of my questions. I will always call AAA for all of my plumbing needs!

I want to start by saying that the technician that helped me was fantastic, very friendly, and professional. However, the company itself quoted me almost $4000 to replace a water heater. I blindly moved forward and had them start work. After talking with my father who suggested making sure that price wasn't too high, I called three other businesses and found that the most expensive quote I got was $1800. When I brought this to the technicians attention, he called a manager and I was offered a price of almost $2400. In no way was I going to use a company that was trying to gauge me. I asked them to stop work and charge me for any labor up to this point; they had been here for an hour and replaced three valves (which they charged me $1100 for). So for about an hour and a half of work, which only included draining the water heater and working on the three valves, I was charged $1100. This is more than some of the quotes I was given for a complete replacement. I had planned to use this company for my sewer line replacement and air conditioning installation. Now, I will never call them again. I highly suggest you look elsewhere for services, and if you do chose to use them, be sure to shop around for reasonable prices. They will try to take advantage of the situation.
To add injury to insult, I asked for an itemized receipt for what I did pay for. Just hoping to see what labor and parts costs were and was informed that is not something their company does. Again, be very hesitant when using their services.

A very positive experience with AAA service call. I scheduled an appt with AAA for a furnace that would not stay lit the day before Thanksgiving. Jamie arrived at the scheduled time and diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes. AAA did not have the control board in stock, but Jamie returned two days later with the part. The board was installed, tested, and Jamie was out the door in 30 minutes.
Jamie was on time, professional, friendly and cleaned up the area after the work was done.
Even though AAA is more expensive than other HVAC companies, they are the best! I will call AAA in the future with any plumbing, heating, or air conditioning issues.
My brother-in-law had to replace some rusted pipes, and as a result disconnected the dishwasher. He was missing parts, Home Depot was closed, and I had an appointment in the morning with a plumber so I kept the appointment to finish the job which consisted of installing a p trap and reconnecting the dishwasher. I was quoted $864 to install a P-trap and reconnect the dishwasher. The plumber said there is no other way to connect the dishwasher until I asked, how it had been working just fine a week before. Then he quotes $150. That is still way too much. He kept trying to tell me I was wrong and that the dishwasher couldn't be reconnected.
Needless to say $15 dollars and 5 minutes more of labor my brother in law took care of it. It is not worth the money to get things done a few hours sooner.
I'm extremely satisfied with the work completed by AAA.
My old tired water heater finally bit the dust, and after calling around, chose AAA to come give an estimate.
I was originally scheduled for yesterday afternoon, but they called because the technician was stuck on a job. I get it, stuff happens. Rescheduled for this morning.
Manny came right away this morning, and gave a thorough explication of the estimate, with various options. He was very kind, friendly and professional.
Greg came later in the afternoon to finish the electrical work to get it up to code, and was also great.
I have confidence that they did a great job, and I know I won't have any issues with my new hot water heater.
Chris Rogers was fast and efficient and $300 cheaper than the previous plumber, seriously. $99 mainline cleanout and with previous plumber we were paying $450.
This was my first call to them ever and they came same day within 4 hours of my call.
Very frustrated with this company, scheduled a window for an appointment and they were busy and never showed up for appointment, I can understand but the company did it again on another appointment. On another occasion I needed a water heater replaced on a rental Bell Plumbing charged me 1620.00 , on another occasion I needed another water replaced at a rental and they were going to charge me 2600.00 for a 40 gallon water heater I said yikes why the 1000.00 difference? So they said ok 400.00 less, but still cost me 600.00 more than Bell Plumbing. I have had to many bad experiences w this co. So beware

So, our drains are severely clogged and we called to get a snake service for $80. We agreed as we like to support local businesses.
We first had an appointment two days ago, with a two hour window. We planned around this window so that someone would be home. They called that day to cancel the appointment as they didn't have a technician working. Okay, that's frustrating, then why do you schedule appointments? Anyway, we decided to give the company another chance and rescheduled to today.
Our window of time was 5-7pm. We planned around this to make sure someone would be home again, and at 5:50pm we received a phone call that again, they had no one to come and we would have to reschedule again.
Of course we canceled and this company will never get our business, nor any of our friends. This is completely unacceptable and a horrendous way to do business. First, you fail to make two scheduled appointments, then you're rude when someone complains about it? People's time is valuable. Don't use this scummy company.

We have had two occasions to work with this company- both times we walked away disappointed. With The first visit AAA offered a free sewer scope. Free, who wouldn't take up this offer? When I asked for a video, via a flash drive, I was informed that they would need a different machine and the cost of the scope would be $199. In addition we paid to have our line cleaned out to the city main. We then hired a different company who did the scope for $99 (with a video via flash drive included ) and it was found that the clean out never reached the city main and there were still roots. We then had this company do it again, the right way.
The second occasion was when the water heater stopped working. All indication was that it was a simple repair- the thermal couple. But not with AAA- after charging us diagnostic fee, it was determined that the thermo coupler was in a sealed unit that needed to be replaced for over $900. The plumber had the nerve to say that the 2009 water heater was already failing When we said we needed to think about it he called the owner who somehow was willing to knock off over $400 from the price. but the offer was only good till 9 AM the next morning. (HMMM) We called the manufacture warranty # and they were adamant that it was only the thermo coupler and gave us a list on preferred plumbers to use. Within 2 hours he came, it was fixed and all for $135.
With AAA plumbing they always try to up sell you so my recommendation is to get a second opinion before using them
I called up this morning and stated clearly that I cannot use AAA Service UNLESS I can have someone stop by TODAY because I am going on VACATION TOMORROW. They set up a window between 2-4, and called at 2:56 p.m. saying that I was next. I then called them at 4:50 wondering where they were.
After getting dropped by the first CSR, a second CSR picked up and took down all the same information. After several minutes they got back to me to say they couldn't come today.
OH. MY. GOD. You don't (a) lead me on that you can to the work today, then (b) call me and say I am next, and then (c) leave it to ME to call almost an hour after you are supposed to be here and say you can't do it. I was crystal clear that I was going on vacation and that the ONLY reason I would be able to use AAA was IF, and ONLY IF they could do it today. Totally dishonest representation of their capability to keep their commitments, irresponsible, and not reliable in my case. I would not recommend you count on anything they say.
Ken came out and did an excellent job installing our hot water heater. The inspector came out and indicated that this is a nice job. Have used AAA multiple times at our old house which is why we called them at our new house and glad we did. Thanks for the great service.
Similar experience with these guys. Had a leaky garden hose faucet. Essentially required a new freeze proof hose bib ($25 part - RETAIL). Access to all piping in basement was openly accessible (sitting right above your head), and simply required cutting the copper tubing, inserting the new hose bib and joining with a simple coupling. Aside from all the up sell on how long they have been in business/they are master plumbers/5 year guarantees (a $25 part you recall), it took about 35 minutes. This master plumber actually commented I haven't done many of these, but shouldn't be a problem - really??? (Look up oxymoron in the dictionary). I'm not a plumber and in hindsight could have done myself in 45 minutes using materials from Lowes costing less than $50-60. My 73 year old mother in law who lives with us had called them without consulting me so I was late to know what was going on, but after finding out they wanted to charge $654, I got involved quickly - there are other reviews on how they ripped off elderly customers. They tried to dance around we never know how complicated a job can be BS, until I simply asked them to confirm or deny that this was the most very basic repair in terms of access etc. Which they confirmed it was. Went to manager who deducted 15%, which still made this $550+ job, which reluctantly was paid since my mother in law is neurotic about things being done immediately. I would hate to have these guys actually do a complex job, the quote would likely put you on your back! They will never quote in labor and materials, a huge red flag. This allows them to make up a price for something they know will take a very short time to complete, despite their we will stay until the job is done crap. They knew damn well how easy it was.
I do understand how business works, insurance, overheads etc, but I also know how not to conduct business if you expect to be competitive and stay in business. They may have been in business for a while, but they should consider that the internet is not their friend and a few reports like this one will have customers looking elsewhere. This should have been a $200-$250 max job (I have a good friend who had been with Xcel energy for 20 years and had his master plumber friend tell me I should have sent these guys packing), and that's being generous.
I will never use or recommend these scoundrel charlatans again and would advise anyone else to be savvy before calling these guys.
They get two stars for doing the job, that's being generous.
I can only assume that the majority of these 5 star reviews are plants' or sadly people who never bothered to find out how much they should have paid.
We had a very positive experience with AAA Service. Both Brendan Franklin & Justin DiTommaso were exceptionally efficient and professional. I'd definitely use their service again!
I used this group for a small plumbing job and was very satisfied. I expect to pay retail from a service company like this so I was largely focused on the service. They did a nice job, were on time, and the tech was rally nice. 4 or 5 stars for that visit.
Months later when my GFCI went out in the bathroom I called them back. I took time off from work 3 different times; they rescheduled me twice at the last minute, then showed up an hour later than the 8:00 - 10:00 window, despite promising me the first appointment of the day. That was already strike three for me. However the real issue is that my $125 outlet repair quickly turned into a quote for a new electrical ground, a new whole house surge protection, and a new electrical panel. Well over $6000, which I originally felt compelled to do as a result of the sell job I got. I booked an appointment for the next day. They called me to say the tech would be late (again) so I cancelled the visit.
When I called a private electrician directly he came out and charged me about $100 for the GFCI. He also told me none of the other items were remotely necessary and I just saved myself $6000.
Beware of the scare tactics and over-selling. I'm really disappointed in AAA and will not be using them again.

I am livid over the BS that this company has put me through. The electricity in our kitchen light went out and I called AAA and set up an appointment for someone to fix it...3 weeks ago.
The day before THAT appointment I got a call and they had to cancel but offered a small discount. Okay, okay things come up, I understand.
The day before my NEXT scheduled appointment I get another calling stating that they have to cancel again. I'm furious and they offer me a *gift card* and ask to reschedule.
I agree and today I am elated to have a technician come out tomorrow and FINALLY fix my light. Well...what do you know at 5:00pm on the day before my 10:00am appointment they cancel AGAIN.
I have lost hundreds of dollars from missing work and my nerves are shot.
This place is ridiculous. I would not recommend them to anyone.
UPDATE: I left a voicemail for their manager and was told he would get back to me in 24 hours. It has been days and I still haven't heard from him. I tried multiple times from different computers to leave feedback on their website but in order to do that I have to download Zend Optimizer. You cannot leave feedback in their Contact Us section without downloading this program. Ridiculous.
I went on here to find a good reliable plumbing company and I thought I would take the advice of fellow Yelpers. Unfortunately I was waiting for the plumber to get here all day, my appointment was slotted for 6-8pm. Instead I get a call at 10 minutes to 6 telling me that they can't make it and they are over booked blah blah blah blah!
Ok, now I can understand that but for goodness sakes give me a fair chance to be able to call another plumber to help me out here. I have a kitchen sink I can't use and a washer that is backing up from the sink. It's unfortunate and EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING that they did not call me earlier so I could find someone else. This is unprofessional and I won't be chancing it with this company ever again.

5 stars for professionalism and speed, 1 star for price. It costed me nearly $400 to get two lights hung. We live in a very old house so maybe that's why it was so expensive, but otherwise we don't have anything crazy going on like super high ceilings or anything. We ended up paying it though because we just wanted to get it over with, but I'm sure other companies charge half the price. Otherwise, the guy was very friendly and got both hung up in a little over an hour. I liked that he put shoe covers on without asking too!
Had bad experiences with plumbers before so to say I was skeptical at first, understatement. Got a call to say they were on their way, shortly after Roque showed, evaluated and repaired! Appreciate Roque explaining everything as it was done and can tell not only does he like his work but good at it too!

I tried out AAA because of a flyer I received in the mail.
I had them come out to clean the flame sensor on my furnace which has been done twice before (by another business) and they claim it needs to be replaced for $375 when the part is $30 and the job will take 10 minutes.
I had also scheduled them to come later that day to clean a drain that day; it took them 2 hours to make a slow leak into a stopped drain and what should have been a $99 job turned into a $1400 estimate and they keep tacking on extras claiming even my toilet had flow problems.
Called Brothers, took them 30 minutes to clear it.
Do not call this place, you are wasting your time.
I was having serious issues with our 16 year old furnace. I have used AAA with a prior plumbing issue and decided to give AAA's HVAC service a try; I was NOT disappointed the technician showed up on time and did an excellent job and repaired the problem(s). I highly recommend AAA.
Out of 5 start rating I would give AAA 5 stars!
AAA took care of an issue from a previous plumber, they not only fixed the issues. But the professionalism from the manager Mike and getting to know Dominic and working with David and Ben. I would hire them again for another plumbing need. Great work ethic.

SUPER EXPENSIVE! It was a 49 dollar charge to come and check the water heater. Was told had to be replaced which I figured. Quoted me a 6 year warranty water heater for $3000.00!! OUCH!!!
Lucky for me the previous day I had Leon from Royalty Plumbing check water heater. He quoted me much, much less! Leon got it done the next day with short notice, and on a Sunday no less. As an out of state landlord I had to have faith in Leon, and I'm glad I did.

Called to schedule an appointment last week. They said a tech would be here on Thursday from 2-4. Called me at 3:00 and said they could not come because their tech was snaking a drain and was caught on another line. Ok, I had stayed home to wait for them, but understood that things happen. I rescheduled for Sat. between 12-2. This time they called earlier and again the tech was caught on another sewer line. I say they are full of it! Either they are very incompetent at cleaning drains or just making up excuses. I am very happy they did not do any work for us!!
Even though i was called and informed about it, they were late for my appointment to clear my backed up sewer. I was scare tactic pitched from the moment the tech stepped inside my house. I had to let him know that if he could not just clear the drain, as requested, he would have to leave. Their warranty says 30 days on their receipt, but they will tell you its 14 days. This was the the third time in a year and a half i used them and the last. The old company was twice the money but had a no questions asked 90 day warranty and provided a better service.....going back to them.

Tried everything possible to remove a kitchen clog in a new home. I snaked it myself seven times and pulled up elastic, paper towel and fabric. I tried drain cleaner and then lye and still had a fully clogged sink. I saw AAA 79$ special and compared it with competitor pricing and reviews and they seemed to be the best fit. I put in an on-line request at night and they called me first thing and scheduled a same day. They were on time. They even called me a couple hours later to offer me an earlier time if I wanted. I was impressed with the coordination. Jason and John were clean and professional. They power snaked twice and couldn't get through and I was feeling nervous. They added another tool and finally broke through. When I was messing with the sink I threaded it wrong and broke a seal causing a leak under my sink. They had extra parts and fixed it with no additional cost to me. They also cleaned up the mess. I paid $79 as promised. No additional taxes or fees. I couldn't be more impressed.

I called to schedule an appointment and they confirmed day and time for my Water Heater Tune-Up. Well... the day arrived and they called me just 2 hours before the appointment windows to say that all the technicians are busy and what about if we call you sometime next week to re schedule the appointmen?t. Obviously they had something more important or other expensive job to do and they just moved mine to another day. You know what? forget it. Is my first and last call to this company.
The other pain in the neck from this company is that once you give them your address they will start sending you unsolicited ads by postal mail. I tried everything to stop receiving their postal ads from calls, letters, reports to the BBB and more without luck. They keep sending me their unsolicited mail without respect for my requests and privacy
Update 5/12/2014: I keep receiving Postal Ads from AAA Service even after 3.5 years of phone calls, letters and BBB Complains totally ignored by this Company. Please avoid calling this company... once you give them your address you will flooded with ads with the owner smiling everywhere...
AAA Service was also reported by FOX31 Denver for ripping off people: youtube.com/watch?v=_AQr…

My basement drain decidely burped a couple days ago. I apparently had a ton of food waste stuck in my pipe from the kitchen sink.
I put in a request through ServiceMagic (which routes my request to several companies in my area). AAA called me within 5 minutes of hitting send.
They sent a technician out within a few hours (they were slightly later that the given 2-hour window, but their office called me regularly with updates), and was incredibly friendly and professional. He scoped the problem, snaked out the blockage, and the spent the time to thoroughly test afterward.
The technician spent the time to answer all of my questions (how can I help prevent this in the future?, what kind of maintenance can I do?) before leaving. The office even called a little bit later to make sure I was happy.
AAA did an OK job installing a new water heater on Easter Sunday. Mike did an OK job installing the water heater. My problem begins with a complementary snake job of my sewer line that I did not ask for that I was told by Nash and Mike my sewer line was collapsed. I was told they would send out a person with a camera on Tuesday to run another complementary scan on the line again but they were sure that it was collapsed and will cost be somewhere between $2200 and $16,000 to repair. They told me they were sure it was collapsed/broken because it backed up when they put some water in it and they got back rust and dirt when they pulled their snake out.
I became suspicious because I have never noticed any type of back up or problem with the sewer line. I called two separate plumbing companies and was advised that this did not sound correct to them as to why they would have done anything with my sewer when installing a water heater. I canceled the camera snake by AAA's person and had another company visit my home to do the camera work. I watched the video play of the camera going through all my lines totally throughout the house and out into the street. The lines were completely clean with no problems in them whatsoever.
While I understood that I had to get the new water heater installed and it was done on a Sunday, Easter Sunday to be correct. I also feel I was overcharged considerably when the final bill was $3620.
When I take into account the overcharge for the water heater which I did research with several other companies and was told the cost was maybe half of the $3620 and the apparent scam that they tried to run on me for the sewer lines I WOULD SAY BUYER BEWARE WHEN CONSIDERING AAA SERVICE?
I had a long, complex experience with AAA Service plumbing that finally got resolved in a most excellent fashion. They replaced my water heater - well done - however it didn't pass inspection in Denver as it didn't draft properly.
AAA sent out some HVAC guys to assess and correct it, costing me more money, however, that fix did not solve the problem. I have an old house and the furnace and water heater both draft via the chimney, and with the higher efficiency appliances, they don't draft well with old duct work. Bud came out, evaluated the situation, a guy came out to fix it, but did much less than Bud had recommended.
AAA service then called me and set up a time to recheck the system... Bud and another senior guy came out and they redid the whole setup - sleeve in the chimney, new walled ducting from the furnace and water heater to the chimney; all under warranty. The first fixes were not worth what they had charged me and I was getting frustrated until Bud showed up! The final work done was well worth the total cost, it's done right and even the Denver inspector was impressed with the quality of the workmanship.
I have had other work done by AAA Service over the years, and this latest experience really shows me that they are investing in quality people to ensure quality work. Thanks to Bud, Darrell and everyone else who got it done.

Rip off. Very disappointed in the office. When I made the reservice appt, I talked to a gentleman. He was friendly and helpful. This was a re-service for a drain they had come out to clean out. The first guy didn't clear the clog 100%. The first tech sold me some drain cleaner to help with the drain. I have been using it, but it wasn't working. When I called to make another appointment, I let the gentleman know about the first time and he said it wouldn't be any charge. When the techs show up and finally clear the drain, they charge me another 79.00. I talk to Pam in the office and she basically tells me too bad, I didn't call in enough time and she did not honor what the gentleman told me about no charge.

Quickest $29 I've ever wasted... We had a technician come out to give us an estimate on removing an old bathtub and replacing it with a new one, which we already have. We were quoted a price of $4,000- I have since gotten a few other estimates of around $1,500. The technician was professional and on time, but he was in our home for about 5 minutes, just enough time for us to look completely shocked and say no thanks.
I'm not sure why they are charging prices over double what others expect this service to cost. It appears that they are not actually interested in the business, but it would have been nice to know this before we paid someone to come take a look. Be prepared for the kind of costs you will be looking at before you pay for an estimate.

0 STARS. I'm not going to write out a big long story about how bad these guys suck...They are terrible all the way around. Got an estimate for a new boiler pump...minimum to repair $1470. THANKFULLY they couldn't make it to the scheduled repair appointment because the job was going to take all day so i hired a local company to come fix it. They did the same job for $400 and it took 2 hours. This company is a JOKE! Rude rude rude rude receptionists.
James W came out in in a VERY timely manner, in fact 20 minutes after I called AAA Service. He was very professional and informative. He explained the situation and what to do for the future along with what to look for. Having an older house with old plumbing, he told me what I should be looking for and what was going on in the pipes. He told me what the future holds and allows me to start looking at options. I have always called AAA Service because of the competent people they send out and it is like technicians like James that I am a repeat customer. My dogs even liked him.
Waited several days to get them out, then they canceled DURING their appointment time. Won't be calling them back.

This company is totally over priced... Check other companies prices before you even call them... They will charge you $4000 for a simple water heater installed... DON'T USE THEM... TOTAL RIP OFF
Received heater service by Tyler Giles. He was most professional and took care to explain everything that he accomplished and what additional service options were available to me. When I opted to contract for additional service, he performed it quickly and ensured that the furnace are was immaculate. Totally satisfied with Tyler.

On 7/31 we had this company come out to take care of a stopped up sink in the kitchen. Through further inspection AAA determined that we had a clogged drain which they fixed for a fair price, but they also sold my wife on a brand new garbage disposal because of a leak beneath the disposal. We had nothing wrong with the disposal that was there but they convinced her that we needed a new one. We were charged $1056.00 for a new disposal and the plumbing that went with it. Ya you saw that figure correct. Over $1000.00 for a garbage disposal. What a rip. Never again with this company.

One of the worst feelings in the world is when your sewer backs up. Fortunately, I caught mine when the washing machine was running and was able to stop it before it made too big of a mess. I went online and started looking for someone to come out and snake the drain. AAA Plumbing came up and I saw that they had an online appointment scheduling system. I figured I'd give it a shot, but didn't expect much. To my surprise, I received a phone call within about 15 minutes and had an appointment scheduled that day!
The tech who came out was very friendly and careful. He took his time and knew what he was doing. It turns out I had such a severe blockage from tree roots, he could have gotten the snake stuck and then the only option would have been to dig up my yard and replace the line! He was very careful and eventually got through. The icing on the cake was when he called his supervisor, they put a camera down the drain all the way to the street just to make sure there was no damage and they let me see what it looked like.
The cost was very competitive and they guarantee their work. I was a little turned off by the manager trying to cross-sell me on a bunch of other services (water heater replacement, furnace servicing, main line replacement), but he was probably just doing his job. They even sent a hand-written thank you note the next day! The next time I have a plumbing emergency, they'll be the first people I call.

Such great friendly service! I got an appointment same day at the time most convenient to me. Service pro was on time and professional. He quality checked his work and cleaned up any and all mess the job made. I feel like the service we received was worth much more than we paid. This was our 1st time using AAA Plumbing but I can assure you it will not be the last! I'm a very satisfied customer. :)
Really! Yesterday I had a plumber give me an estimate to hook my gas grill to the line coming out of the house, $99. AAA showed up today, $503. When I talked to AAA on the phone they wanted $49 just to show up, I said I am not paying you to give me an estimate and said good buy, they said, no we will waive that fee. Thank goodness that it cost me $0 to learn that AAA Plumbing appears to want 5x more than other qualified plumbers. WOW I am surprised.

I never write reviews, but had the best service today, so I thought I'd share the email I sent to my customer service rep this afternoon:
Hi Sofia, I just want you and your management team to know that I am beyond impressed with your company and Ron in particular. You answered quickly this morning when I called and scheduled us for same day. This alone is a nice change from other companies we've worked with. But then Ron put it over the top. He called at every step to update us, he even let us know that he had run tests and that the clog seemed to have cleared on it's own, so he wasn't going to charge us! I asked him to snake the main line anyways because it's an annual maintenance we preform on this rental property. He did that (for an incredible price!) and then called to give us additional information. He was so prompt, knowledgeable, informative and honest!
We've used a few different plumbers for our main home and rental property over the years, but AAA Service has earned a longtime loyal customer today!

Doug just came out to our home in the Highlands and was amazing! He diagnosed out Sump Pump issue and fixed it very quickly. He was so nice and honest and didn't even charge me. I would highly recommend AAA Service.
Last evening I noticed that I had a clogged drain in my kitchen sink.
At about 6:30AM this morning I called AAA Service to inquire about having my problem resolved. Kerry politely advised me that she could have a technician at my house early in the AM. Same day service! I told her to please make the appointment. I received a follow up call at 7:40AM from Jamie advising that Nicolai was on his way. Before 9AM Nicolai arrived. It's now 10AM and I'm writing this review. All three of the folks I had contact with AAA Service were extremely professional. They all responded to me most politely. Nicolai knows what he is doing. He assessed my plumbing needs and quickly resolved my problem. He made sure that everything was cleaned up neatly before he left. No messes for me to clean up! He was most appreciative that my wife and I chose to use AAA Service. By the way, the cost was $79. just as agreed. Great experience!
I have called AAA on three occasions for plumbing work. Their technicians are very knowledgeable, thorough, and honest.
AAA is the company I would most recommend for emergency plumbing repairs. They are pricey (four stars instead of five for wanting more than $600 to install a a customer-supplied faucet and connect a sink drain), but if you can afford them, they'll do the job right.

This was going to be a very negative review, and I mean very negative. I recently had an experience with AAA Plumbing not by my choice but by my neighbors. They damaged a pipe and cause a lot of damage to my property. In dealing with them initially I became very aggravated. I was ready to talk to an attorney. but today after about 3 weeks I finally received a call from one of the managers today that informed me that hey were going to take complete responsibility of me and my damages.
I as a maintenance manager for a very large HOA understand that mistakes do happen and that sometimes things dont go the way that you planned, but in taking care of the issues and damages that you caused build trust and and assurance that you are a company that stand behind their customers and their own employees, their mistakes as well as their achievements, and for that I can find no fault I therefore would recommend AAA Service knowing that they will do their best, and will stand behind their work regardless of the outcome.
Thank you Amanda.
Have used AAA three times for plumbing issues, and each time was a good experience.
Last night my basement drain backed up and flooded my laundry room. I called AAA at 6:30am today thinking I would have to leave a message and instead spoke to a person who was very understanding and scheduled an appointment as soon as possible.
Each time AAA showed up on time and provided superior service at affordable prices. They also gave me advice on maintenance I could do, which could possibly prevent future problems with my older home.
I would highly recommend technicians Gordon and Ron G. They were professional, and thorough in diagnosing the problems, which in turn avoided unnecessary additional costs for me.

I had two problems, a rocking toilet, and a dripping faucet. The bids were $466 and $400 respectively. No way can I afford $866 for these simple problems, so I paid their $29 evaluation fee and sent them packing.
I fixed the drip myself. I pulled off the handle, a few twists on a screw, then a few twists on a wrench, and there was the damaged washer. I dropped in a replacement washer that cost .17 cents from Home Depot. It all took me 5 minutes. The tech told me the faucet was corroded and my shutoffs were leaking, and he would take care of all that for the $400, but in one of those other problems were true, he was just up-selling
Tomorrow I'll fix the toilet. Remove two anchor bolts, put in new wax ring, and bolt it all down tight.
It's crazy to pay the money they're asking.
PRICE GOUGING!!! PRICE GOUGING!!! PRICE GOUGING!!!
They came and replaced a piece of pipe, took 20 minutes and charged $702.00. and then wanted another $99.00 and another trip to clean the pipe drain that was replaced. REALLY?

Had a laundry drain in my basement back up recently. Eli E. from AAA Service came by and removed a 60 year old drain cover, removed the old brass trap plug, snaked the line and was able to get the debris out successfully. Installed a new plug, cleaned everything up and tested the line multiple times. All good! Eli was informative and polite through the entire process. Only $79 total cost, which is almost hard to imagine. Would absolutely recommmed AAA Service for plumbing and any other work they do. Excellent all the way around! Thanks AAA Service and Eli!

They did it again! Scheduled them to come out and look at the air duct going to our 4 month old son's bedroom. We realized there's no air flow going to his room and with temps wells below freezing they were the only company that had availability to come out. At 8:00 the morning of our appointment they called to see if they could come earlier. I wasn't available at that time. Then 15 minutes before our originally scheduled time they CANCELLED because their tech was tied up for the rest of the day!!! But offered to come out sometime next week. No thanks. You obviously have an issue keeping your appointment times thus wasting my valuable time.

Appreciated the care and concern they took while working in my home. From putting down plastic on my floors to making sure I understood everything about my new water heater, the service was friendly and top-notch
I see all the negative reviews here, but I have to say we had a wonderful experience yesterday with them. We have had some electrical problems with a chandelier, and could not hang it ourselves because it would not light. They quoted the job at $338, and YES, I did think that was pricey. However my husband had been working on the ceiling box for a few days and couldn't fix it. So I agreed. They ( Michael and Taeva) spent 3 hours at our house, trying to fix it. Finally they did. We had faulty wiring and it was a big job. They still held to the $338 price, and apologized for taking so long.
Don't let the smiling faces on their trucks fool you, it's because they are laughing all the way to the bank. Be sure to request a final bill so you can see what they actually charge you for. I found multiple services that were not performed as well as some piping that was never installed.
I have no idea how they get so many high ratings on google...The plumber who came out was professional and courteous. I had a shower nozzle sticking out from the wall and he quoted me $1,827.00 for the job. Obviously I thought that was too high, had a 2nd plumber come from a different company-he had the job done in less than an hour for $180. These guys tried to rip me off close to $1600!!!! If you've ever done business with this company, you have been ripped off!
Our problem started in the main water line when it started hammering (a very loud bang when flushing or washing clothes). I consulted one of my brothers who is a plumber in Eagle, CO. He suggested we replace the pressure regulator valve from the main line. When AAA came out we talked about what my brother suggested. He, Ray, may have been here for 10-15 minutes checking the water pressure off the washing machine hose, which clearly showed we were getting too much pressure.
Ray them looked in his book for the list price to replace the pressure regulator. He quoted me $849.00!!! I was very close to agreeing to this price and gave the go ahead. When Ray went to his truck to get the equipment I immediately called my brother who said the price was ridiculous and in fact he even told me for that much he would come down and do the work himself. (funny)
Anyway, I declined the work and asked Ray how his company put an $849 price tag on a $91.20 part we eventually got from Home Depot? He told me the company has everything in the book on what to charge.
My brother did the work, less than an hour (it took longer to find the part). Would not recommend this company at all. How can anyone afford those prices!!
SHAME ON YOU AAA SERVICE!!!

I have used this company many times before and while they are expensive, they usually do good work and fix the problem the first time.
I had them out to take a look at a water leak on Saturday. They said they would have to get parts and come back on Monday which they did, but without any parts. This was a different technician that came out, took a picture of the leaking area and left saying he needs to get more information. I called dispatch 3 times within 45 minutes asking the tech to call me to find out where he went. The last time the receptionist said was surprised he didn't call back and would get a hold of him and SHE would call me right back to confirm. NO ONE from this company EVER CALLED BACK! Stay far away from this company. Called Plumbline Services and they were great to work with to fix the leak.

Half my house's electrical outlets decided to shut down last night. We called AAA and they scheduled a tech to come out the next day. They then called and asked if I was available earlier in the day, which I was and that actually worked out better for my schedule.
Matt was great. He explained what he thought was wrong before doing any work, talked to my property manager to get approval before the work was done and then completed it quickly. At the end I asked him about another matter completely unrelated to my service call but had forgotten about until then. He looked into it, fixed it and didn't charge me (it was pretty minor but certainly something I wouldn't have figured out on my own.
All in all, great service and we'll definitely use them again.
DJ Gandee of AAA Service did a great job. We had a basement drain flood emergency. I called up AAA and DJ came by within two hours. He was here for a little over 2 hours and did a clean job of clearing the drain.
AAA Service charges $99 for a roto snake. They charged me $200 to do a specialized high pressure wash of the drain. They charged $80 for a tub of Bio-Clean. The pressure wash came with a 1 year warranty.
DJ did a great job, I have no complaints. AAA Service probably charges a premium price, but they do have great marketing and advertising and they are very responsive and had a follow up call to make sure the work was done to my satisfaction.
I was told that DJ's manager, Josh, would call me to schedule an appointment to run a camera down the drain to make sure the drain issue was properly resolved. I am still waiting for that call. I will update this post when I hear from Josh.

Excellent AC and Furnace service by Walter and Roger through AAA:
I had some issues with my central air conditioning and furnace (the central AC unit works through the furnace infrastructure). The AC was working very poorly. I knew that it also needed to be cleaned thoroughly, since it had been several years since the last cleaning (and Colorado air quality is very dirty and dusty, which infiltrates furnace and AC ducts).
I'd used AAA Service for some plumbing work, and so decided to try them for this as well. They were able to schedule two technicians (Walter and Roger) to come out and evaluate the project within 3 days.
On Walter and Roger's initial visit, Walter did a thorough review of my outside central AC unit, as well as my furnace. He encouraged me observe and review the work as he performed it, and to ask as many questions as I like (always a good sign when a contractor is patient and willing to entertain your questions). I watched for the duration of his visit while he opened both units, and evaluated the problem. (Both the outside AC unit and the furnace had significant debris build up which was blocking the airflow and forcing the furnace to work inefficiently and much harder than was necessary.)
Walter supplied a price quote to service both units, and explained the costs (it was not as cheap as I had hoped, due to the necessity to take apart the furnace in order to access the blocked areas). He also provided an itemized breakdown between servicing the AC unit and the furnace separately, though both needed to be taken apart and serviced. Lastly, he encouraged me to call some competitor companies to request quotes for the work, which I later did.
I eventually decided that I would schedule the work with Walter (through AAA), but that I would only have the furnace serviced. I could take apart the AC unit on my own, and decided that I would save some money by doing that portion of the work.
When Walter came back (he came back with Roger again), he decided to service both the outside AC unit as well as the furnace. I explained that I did not schedule work the AC unit (only the furnace), and that the extra work on the AC unit was quoted at several hundred dollars to take apart and service, and that I could do that on my own. Walter understood, but explained that he was willing do the AC work anyway AT NO CHARGE. His philosophy was that he wanted to do the job right, in its entirety, and although he knew that I could do the work he wanted to go ahead and do it anyway since he had all of the proper tools and was onsite. I expressed that I was Ok with this, and he and Roger then went about the work. The AC work took them at least an additional hour. They performed an excellent job on both the AC unit and the furnace.
This type of service, dedication, and customer orientation are rare and deserve to be commended. I will surely go back to AAA Service for any future furnace and AC work, and will specifically request Walter. Nice job on their part!
my 92 year old mother in-law called these guys to fix an outside faucet problem. The guy who showed up told her they couldn't just replace a washer because of building code and gave her a price of $535 to replace the whole faucet. That's when I was called for an opinion. I told her there was nothing stopping me from trying the washer option, so I disassembled the faucet and took the stem over to ACE hardware. They put a new washer on the stem and told me there was no such building code, and an older home would be grandfathered in if there was. I put the stem with the new washer back in the faucet and it worked just fine. The whole thing cost 85 cents. Think twice before you call these guys.

I'm not sure who is reviewing these guys, they have SO many on google (where we looked) compared to most businesses that they either are incenting customers to write positive reviews or else they have someone fulltime on the staff (and since there is an 'owner response' for basically every single review, I wouldn't be surprised) writing reviews. Beware of the huge amount of reviews....
We did not have a good experience with these guys. This morning we called and asked for them to come inspect our leaking water heater. Yes, we knew that they were old (we have 2) and that they would probably need replacing. After looking, we were told that to replace two 50 gallon water heaters, the cost would be $6000..... I know that these tanks go for $500-$800 (40K BTUs, energy star, 12 year 50 gallon tanks) retail - yet apparently their 'warranty', the tanks being super awesome and their service supposedly justifies the extra 5k or so in labor?
We called Mr Rooter and Home Depot, both of which had comparable (actually better) tanks available, and would install same day for $2500 (labor and materials). So we promptly cancelled with AAA. Also, we asked about the possibility of tankless and the tech told us for the size of our house, (2 adults and a 6 year old and baby live here) it would cost is about $15K. (other plumbers told us 4-5K).
We live in a nicer neighborhood and I truly believe these guys took this as an opportunity to to rip us off. We mentioned this to the plumber from Mr Rooter who we have used 5X now (we were unable to get ahold of them immediately this morning and were calling around for quotes, AAA just jumped on the opportunity faster), and he agreed that sometimes he has seen that happen.
Watch out and do your homework before you hire these guys - know the materials costs, typical labor costs, etc....maybe some of the techs are good but the one that came today wasn't honest or ethical to try and scam us out of 6K for a 2 hour job (which they said would take 5 hrs... 1K per hour?) and usually that kind of thing reflects the business.
Late arrival, over priced services, $1209 for a shower faucet that could be repaired but he Master plumber didn't know anything about this brand so tried to charge me $1209 for a faucet....
Then asked about kitchen faucet which worked but was peeling, $598 for a basic $150 kitchen faucet. Then the Toilet needed a $5 part with a 10 min labor and charged $65.00 wanted $98 to replace all internal toilet parts a 30 min job and $25 part. the very worst part was he billed $99 to identify the brand of the shower faucet... took 10 min. When i states I would make a consumer alert on the business practice he offered to remove the $99 charge. I stated that it was still mu duty as a consumer to report my experience then her said the entire trip was no charge.... He wanted me to remain quiet about my experience. I appreciate the effort but consumers need to know what they are in for with this company... Over priced courteous service...

We had a leak with a main pipe that should have been simple, but since it's about a 60 year old house, nothing is ever as simple as it looks. We were just so pleased with the extra effort, and personable style Michael brought to the job. Thank you so much for a resolution and for a great and pleasant attitude. Very pleased with AAA as always!
I called and made an appointment for a basic rooter service in a tub and a toilet. i got a no call/ no show for my appointment window. I called again and rescheduled. this time I got a call, but, it was to reschedule and I got the call at the end of my appointment window. During my last appointment window, I got ANOTHER call to reschedule, at which point, I gave up and cancelled. now I can't get off their mailing list. Call these people if you like waiting. And waiting. And waiting.

The technician that came out, Bryce, was very friendly and professional, but the estimates he provided - to replace a 10 foot section of my main sewer line and install 2 clean-outs - were EXTREMELY high @ approx. $6,950 and $6,750. He said that the owner has 3 different friends who do all of this work for AAA, and that is who provide the estimates. I decided to wait and then I received bids from two other companies ... I ended up saving myself $4,500!!!. Yikes! The company that did the work completed it in 4 1/4 hrs. and did a great job. I consider AAA's bid's for this type of work to be plain old gouging and would not recommend anyone use them for it - unless you have thousands of dollars to burn.

On Thursday my wife noticed that the kitchen sink in our new home was backing up, I attempted to clear the drain and saw water dripping out from behind the wall. Even though there was some scheduling confusion, David was able to locate the problem (we had four cracks in the same pipe) repair the broken pipes, and get us set up for a drain clearing service. David also was conscious of our time requirements and finished up just as my wife and I had to leave. I will be calling AAA next time a plumbing issue comes up in my home.
I've had several experiences with AAA Service over the last several years and I am done with them. They are consistently way more expensive than other services and have started to cancel appointments at the last minute. Their repair work on the last couple of visits has failed and they always say it's something else with the unit so they can charge again. Another repair and fail within months. Find a more reputable company.
If I could, I would call AAA service plumbing to travel 1800 miles and work on my place in NYC!
I called AAA for service on my drain here in colorado..John K. showed up at exactly time promised , calmly listened to my issues, then went to analyze and confirm my toilet flushing problem. He did what plumbers do and then told me he wanted 2nd opinion and called Doug H. To confirm his suspicion. The 3 of us on speaker talked about problem agreed on plan of attack..There seemed to be a vent problem in wall, something that could not be resolved right there and now..The building needed to be contacted.
John went with me to building Mgr calmly discussed the issues!..He then explained and apologized that he could not do anything to resolve problem ( thru no fault of his own) at this time....and instead of billing me for a service call, these folks said NO CHARGE because they couldn't do anything at this point in time.
AAA plumbing spent more than hour conferring with me and bldg to analyze the problem and yet NO CHARGE!
Boy do I wish I could take these guys with me to ny..What plumbing company do you know shows up when they say they will and after spending time in my home, tell you no charge because they didn't resolve immediiately.......They have wrong name on company..It should be AAAAA ( 5 A'S ..NOT 3).

The tech came out, and to replace a flapper in the toilet tank would cost 300.00--more than the cost of a new toilet and installation--and the drain leak, without ever seeing the drain (he gave that estimate standing by the front door a few minutes after arriving-- would cost 1,300.00 and that price might go higher. I was advised do not go the handy man route because they would charge more. Yeah. Right. I also want add a BIG thank you to Yelp for adding but not counting in questionable reviews, and this company is loaded with 300 plus of them! They create more customers---for their competition.
Ron G. was fantastic. Courteous, fast, efficient, friendly. Highly recommended.

I bought a new home about a month ago. Last night I began to hear a beeping in the basement. I investigated and found the water leak alarm in the pan beneath the water heater sounding; there was a small puddle of water. I found that the cold water intake pipe to the water heater was leaking. It was late at night and I couldn't stop the leak so I turned off the water and left a voicemail with AAA. The next morning, at around 7:30 am, I received a call from AAA advising a rep could come between 12 & 2 pm. The tech, Ken Mulac, arrived early. He did a quick assessment and determined that he'd need to change some piping. He fixed it in less than 45 minutes and was able to confirm that the water heater was still under warranty. There was no charge! He also had the main office update their records to transfer the warranty to my name from the previous home owner. Ken was efficient, proficient and professional. I'd trust Ken at AAA to return to take care of all of our plumbing needs. Excellent work, Ken and AAA.
AAA came highly recommended to me and I read lots of reviews online before booking an appt. with them to look at my air conditioner which likely needs replaced. I waited a week to get in with them given it is summer and has been hot and I imagine everyone is having AC issues. They called me less than 12 hours before they were suppose to come out and cancelled my appointment and said they could not come out till following week. I had even cancelled another company to come out because AAA came so highly recommended. Will never work with them or recommend them to others. So unprofessional.
AAA was incredibly responsive to our inquiry and need for a plumber.
The technician (Ron G.) arrived promptly, was very informative, and executed the work in a professional and timely manner. I would recommend Ron and AAA to friends and family in need of immediate plumbing assistance.
My experience was very much a repeat of many of the other reviews. We made an appointment for the electrician to arrive between noon and 2PM on Sunday. Received a text and a call on Sunday saying his job was going to take all day and that he would not be there. I called and spoke to Paul who said they could have someone out on Monday morning at 8AM. This morning at 7:20 AM, I received a text and a call saying the tech was on his way. I called back to ask for an ETA. The lady told me he would be there in 27 minutes. At 7:54 AM I received a call saying the tech apparently went the wrong direction and was in Morrison (we live in Broomfield, their office is in Arvada). and wouldn't be there until later in the morning. I had appointments to go to and told Paull to send someone else. All he had was 5 to 7PM. After thinking about it, I cancelled altogether. If a guy doesn't know how to follow his navigator system, I don't trust him to do electrical work at my home.

Chris Brown was our technician and he was very knowledgeable about the furnace he was working on. He explained what issues he found and quickly repair the heating system. He also made some recommendations that I could do on a regular basis to keep the furnace working efficiently. They did give me the senior discount.

We were very impressed with Manny and his team. Our hot water heater went out and they were out less than 24 hours later, which was only because we were not available sooner. They sufficiently explained our situation and went above and beyond to get us what we wanted. They were in and out with precision. We also even got a free carbon monoxide detector! I've never been so excited about a water heater before! We are very satisfied with our experience with AAA, the Arvada location.
You can tell a lot about a company's managers by the way they treat customers and staff.
As I had done business with AAA before, the phone agent told me there would be no charge for a tech to come and locate & flag my sewer line. I repeated this to make sure I understood. When he came, he wanted $199. saying the trip was free, flagging would be $199. He called his boss, Jackie, who said she'd 'listen to the calls, and check.' She called back, said she couldn't hear the calls, and offered to knock $50. off.
So, basically, she called me a liar, and did not support her staff. Some customer service! Some boss!
Over the course of the day, I had also wound up speaking with four different people, trying to pin down when the tech would arrive.
Something has changed, and not for the better, since I originally did business with this firm.
Watch out and get everything in writing.

Their bid was ridiculously expensive for a furnace install. I can understand that there are some people that pay what they are quoted, but if you get multiple bids - this is not the company for you.

AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS! Office staff is a total nightmare to deal with.
I called them to do an annual furnace service on a set of duplexes. I stated in my call that there were doing to be several of these and this one would be test to see how things went. Both units are occupied and both residents have dogs, so timing was going to be critical - this was clearly stated from the beginning. The appointment was set for 5-7pm (I even got a confirmation email for that time) - perfect, that let my residents complete their workdays and get home in time to take the dogs out while the service went on. At 3pm that day I get a call that the technician was on the way - no dice! When I said that would not work and we had to adhere to the 5-7pm schedule, I was told that no technician was available and they had to do it NOW! I protested and asked to speak to a manager. I was told they were in a meeting but would call back. About 30 minutes later I got a call from the manager. Despite the fact that they set the appointment for 5-7pm and I had the email to prove it, she insisted that they had to do it and the tech was already in route. After a little course language on my part, she finally decided to check with the tech to see if he could do it later, WHICH HE COULD. I guess the biggest issue that I have is that in the conversation with the manager it was very clear that while they screwed this up, it was somehow my fault for expecting them to show up as agreed.
The tech arrived at 5pm as agreed and I have to admit, he was very nice, did a good job, contained the mess and cleaned up after himself. All in all a good result - way too difficult to get there, but in the end OK.
So, I decided to give them another shot and called today to set up another set of duplexes. After a lot of dancing around on the phone, we got an appointment set that would work for my residents. Then she tries to sell me the service plan, thanks, but no thanks. Then she tells me that it is $79 PER SIDE. When I told her that they had just done this for $59 per side a week ago she snapped - that was a special and it's full price now!. No, it was not a special they did that because there were two services side by side and that was stated as their multiple location price. She states that she can do it one more time, but after this I would have to pay full price. I asked to talk to the manager and was told that she was busy and that she would tell me the same thing. At this point I canceled the services and went on to some one else -
BOTTOM LINE - DON'T BOTHER WITH THESE PEOPLE, FIND SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY WANTS YOUR BUSINESS!!!

I called at 8am. They totally worked with me. I got John Knight. He was very nice and educational. Fully explained why, what and how to prevent. The price was right too. He explained programs but was not pushing them on me. I will use John and AAA again!
Ron came to help us clear our main sewer line today and was wonderful. He taught us a lot about how to care for our plumbing to prevent future problems. He went out of his way to make sure that he presented all our treatment options for the problem that we had, gave us time to ask questions, and then make our own decision. He was professional, friendly, and resolved our problem. I highly recommend Ron G. to anyone who is needing help with their plumbing problems!!!
The pilot light went out on my 20 year old furnace during the night on a wintery Friday. I was totally frozen when I phoned AAA on Saturday morning to see if someone could come relight it for me. Their TV ads make them look very helpful and friendly. I've seen a friend and my cousin do relight the pilot in less than 60 seconds with a flashlight and a long lighter, but I am afraid to do it myself (long story.)
The scheduler was a huge snot to me on the phone as if I were bothering her. It was so out of line and unexpected that it took me by surprise. Perhaps she is dissatisfied that she has to work early on Saturday mornings? I was given a 10 to noon window for which I was very grateful because it was a chilly 50 inside my house.
After setting the appointment, I asked about the cost. She never would tell me the cost of the work, but she did give me a very well-worn speech about how they charge a common, industry-wide $99 trip charge just to drive to my house. When I remarked about the high cost of relighting a pilot light, she interrupted me to tell me in an overtly annoyed tone that she would waive the fee since I am a brand new customer. I was almost afraid to ask again what the actual labor cost would be so I simply thanked her for her generosity, and told her I would wait for the technician between 10 and noon.
Unexpectedly, my cousin showed up from the other side of town to take me to breakfast, and he easily relit the pilot light. When I phoned AAA to let them know my problem had been resolved, the scheduler was a total snot again. I told her I needed to cancel my appointment and as I started to explain why, she said ok and hung up on me. A decent business would have asked why I was canceling in an effort to hang on to me as a future client or to figure out how they can better serve other new clients. Even a cheerful thanks for thinking of us and hope you call again next time you need help would have been nice. However, the way their snotty scheduler handled it, I am never going to call them again. My old furnace needs to be replaced this spring, and that job is going to another company who didn't make me feel like a pest for wanting to hire them.

AAA called me to schedule a complimentary water heater check. The man came out Thursday. He had to remove a water circulator from the water heater. In so doing the copper pipe broke.. He was so kind to tell me he would only charge me labor to replace/resolder. That amount of $170 for about 30 minutes blew me away. I have tried to contact the company customer service person to no avail. They do not return texts, emails or phone calls. I have used them a lot in the past, but this will be the last time.
Called on 5/24 with an electrical issue to my garbage disposal. Installed one box outlet, one plug, plastic cover. Had a hard time spending 15 minutes there. Charged me $300, KEPT TELLING ME HE COULD CHARGE ME $500 IF HE WANTED TO. He was creepy, will never call them again. Never saw anything written before he did the job. Nothing. I call this robbery !!! Don't user them !
Jace was a pleasure to work with. He was courteous and gave me clear options to resolve the problem with my ceiling fan. He provide super fast service and offered a coupon to lessen the cost. I would recommend AAA services for minor electrical repairs.

Do NOT let this company near you. They were hired by me to do the job of digging out the old sewer pipe and putting in the new. The salesman is a big liar! They spanish-speaking-only workers were the only ones on the job. There was no one to communicate with. The permit was filed with the city for only a partial job. They even claimed they charged me a very small amount of money when they actually charged me $8,200! The man in the building department told me that is illegal and AAA got fined! He also told me I am only responsible for what AAA claimed on the city permit. I cancelled the $8,200 charge and paid the company for the amount they write on the city permit form. (Anyone can look up your permits for your house on the Westminster or your own city website! Don't let these people rip you off!

I am VERY pleased with AAA Service! Tony O serviced a poor functioning drain line in my home that caused a terrible odor whenever my dishwasher or kitchen sink ran. He was prompt, courteous, and took the time to explain the cause of my problem. I would strongly recommend contacting AAA for your plumbing needs in the greater Denver area. Good, reasonable price and excellent service. Thank you!!
These folks are nice on the phone, even the tech was nice, but...
So when the leak was finally found (3 cuts in the drywall) it was discovered that it was a drain pipe at at T joint. It was explained that it would be $988.00. Due to the fact that I was recovering from heart surgery and not having a working sink in the upstairs bathroom I reluctantly agreed to the price.
After the job was done I received a call from the company wanting to do a survey. I explained the situation and was told to expect a call from a manager after they reviewed the surveys at noon the next day. Needless to say its been over two weeks and still no call.
Seems like they like to take your money, but do not want to explain why they needed to charge $988.00 for a T joint. I fully expected to be heavily charged from a plumber. But I cant see why two- three hours of work (most of it was running to the store to buy the part they needed) and 20 mins to replace the part was $988.00.
I would not recommend this company due the the poor follow up from the management.
While working a remodel of a basement I called AAA Service for a price on installing a sewer line, bathtub drain line and prepping for a new bathroom. The rep was polite and professional when speaking with him. He had to make some calls to get me an estimate on the work. In the end I was given an estimate on a job for $11,500. I about had a heartattack. I have a construction back ground and know that this type of work should be no more then $3-4000.00. After calling several other plumbing companies (Stay away from box truck plumbing companies) I had several estimates in my hand for $3,000 to $3,500. Bottom line, AAA Service was clearly gouging me and had no problem over estimating this job by $8,500! As with most box truck plumbing companies; AAA Service is no different and clearly looks for people to rip off. Be on guard! If it seems to expensive, it probably is.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We made an appointment on a Friday morning for a broken furnace service call during outside temps of single digits. AAA agreed to come out at 5-7 p.m., and then called and asked if we could move it up and we agreed so it was 3-5. Then they called at 4:30 and cancelled, and said they would be able to come Monday - in three days! Who can we call to come out on a Friday at 4:30? We tried two other companies who couldn't come out until Sat night. AAA is the same company that, two years ago, wouldn't honor a 5-year warranty on a furnace they put in at our house in 2010. Luckily I had the paperwork, or they would have charged us $800 for a repair that was under warranty. No integrity, and we will never call them again.

Set appointment a week in advance for electrical, plumbing, and hvac work. Had two schedulers calling each day to confirm appointment despite me letting them know i preferred email because i have poor service at work. Took a day off work so I could be here for my appointment. The day before the appointment i am notified they will not be able to relocate a duct and they would be referring me out to another company to set a new appointment. Then the morning of my appointment, they called to tell me their electrician called in sick and couldn't make it. So out of the 3 requested technicians who were supposed to come out, only the plumber was available. Really? Based on the size of the company, I assumed they would have multiple technicians and could send someone else out. I know they can't control someone calling in sick, but in my business i can't control interest rates yet my customers hold me accountable. I am moving on to another company for what i expect to be reliable appointments. If it's confirmed, it needs to be kept, no matter what.
Daniel is an outstanding technician. He was very polite and got right down to business. When he was finished he explained everything so even I could understand it, I will definitely call him (and you) again, and appreciate your help and your service. Thank you. Anne Kraeger

Came out on Sunday and cleared our drain. Took four times for the snake to finally get it but Seth and Cameron stuck with it and got the job done.

Two plumbing companies, one job - check the gas line and turn the gas back on at our rental property, where there was a fire. AAA Services charges $49.95 to come out and assess the situation. They say it'll take 3 days and cost $1500 to get the gas back on. Umbrella Plumbing assesses the situation over the phone and estimates it'll cost $181 to get the gas back on. Umbrella comes out, finds no problems with the gas line, and get the gas back on. They charge $181. That's MORE THAN 8 TIMES LESS than AAA Services quoted me. GO UMBRELLA PLUMBING! They were awesome. These guys? Not so much. Umbrella impressed me from the moment they answered the phone and knew all about Denver gas and what they had to do, while these guys seemed out only to make a buck. Umbrella's master plumber was great.

Very disappointed in this company. I called them in May to tell them I thought my disposal was out because of an electrical problem. She said they should send out a plumber first, just in case. On May 31st the scheduler called and asked me if they could come in the morning the next day between 8am and 10am. I told them that they couldn't because I was already busy in the morning and I needed to keep my 12pm to 2pm schedule on June 1st. On June 1st, the scheduler called me at 1:00 p.m. and said I was the next call. The technician didn't show up until 3:40 p.m. When the technician came out, all he did was hit the reset button (like I didn't try that first) and told me it was probably electrical. He said he wasn't an electrician so they'd have to schedule one to come out but the electricians didn't work on the weekends. He told me they could come out hte following Monday. I told him I couldn't do that but I could do the following Thursday.
On Monday morning, I'm getting a call that the technician is en route. I told them that I wasn't scheduled until Thursday and I was already at work. So of course I take off from work early because I'm scheduled between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. At 2:00 p.m., they call me and tell me the electrician can't make it to my house and wanted to know if they could come out the following day. I told them that I've already missed work and I can't miss work again. The scheduler said she'd ask if Greg could come out instead of Shasta. She said she'd call me back. Rather than Sophia calling me back, Jackie calls me back at almost 4:00 p.m. She starts going through the same speech about the electrician being too busy to come out to my house today and wanted to know if we could schedule for the following day or the next Monday. I told her that Sophia already called me and told me that and said she'd check with Greg. Jackie said that they were too busy and that wasn't going to happen. I told her that I can't miss work again and I told them I was done with them and I hung up.
I'm very disappointed that they brag about their customer service and their availability but then they overbooked on both occasions (not to mention they also got the date wrong on the second call).
Never again.
Fantastic job by Ray and Brian, who worked as a team. Our 50 gal hot water started gushing water first thing in the morning, causing panic in our house. As I worked to shut off the water, my wife called AAA. They were very helpful in telling her the steps we needed to take to get the water shut off. They were able to get Brian to our house by 10am. He found that the water heater was shot and gave us options to replace it. We decided to go with a tankless heater. Ray joined Brian at our house about 11am and by 3pm they had removed the old tank and installed and tested the tankless heater. They did an incredible job, they were fast and courteous. They cleaned up the area after they were done. We were back in business that quickly.

A terrible customer service!! And this company is getting worse by the minute!!
We had used them for our house and for our rental many times before, but we will be looking for other company from this point on.
The head of the customer service person, Chris (male) promised us to get back to us about a question we had and never did. When I called back the next day (giving him 24hours to respond), he said I had an emergency last night. He had all day (the following day) to call us back, but didn't even bother or apologize. He was talking to me in a very condescending way (probably because I am a female) and lied to me on the phone by saying he gave a discount of $100 for a scope job--The company quoted $200 ($199) for a scope and he told me that I needed to basically be very happy and be thankful to him that he gave us the discount of $100, because normally the scope costs $300 ($299). This was a total lie and he accused me of not understanding the big picture, because this is a business and he couldn't give any more discounts (which he didn't).
Terrible company, avoid it at all costs. My grandmother had a sewage backup in the downstairs bathroom. These guys came out, ripped up the floor, ripped out the pipes, and covered everything up with cement. There was a huge bulge in the floor making it impossible to put the tile back, and they super glued the foundation for the toilet to the floor completely wrong. It has been almost 2 weeks and we are still without a toilet downstairs and there are 4 people living in this house. Do not call these guys, save yourself the trouble.

Just had a plumber come to give me an estimate to replace the P trap as the dishwasher is backing up into the sink when it runs. No reflection on the technician, but they have a binder full of standard prices they charge for specific plumbing problems. They wanted $495 to replace the plumbing which could be fixed by replacing one piece. I will go to the hardware store and figure it out myself for that kind of money! He also quoted $295 to replace A FAUCET. Please do not give them your money.
We had an appointment to look at an electrical problem scheduled, which I just canceled after hearing their astronomical prices.
Sorry for the negative review, but these people are robbing homeowners for work that could be done at a fraction of the cost.

Warning, use this business only if you think my experience with them is ok for you. Called AAA Heating for a furnace problem. The pilot wasn't igniting. Service Tech. Mike came out that day. I understood for him to show up was going to cost me $99.00. As he was looking at the furnace, he asked me if I had water in the crawl space. I said No & Why. Mike told me my furnace had rust all over it, on the connections, and that a capacitor was leaking oil. He started fooling around with his volt meter, only saying. This Is Bad and the furnace was shot and needed replaced. I proceeded to inform him that it feels as though he only wanted to sell me a furnace. He responded back with Hey I Get Paid No Matter What. So Mike was hip to me being on to his scam, quickly crawled out and wrote a quote up. The quote indicated an Ignition Module for $815.00, A Control Board for another $815.00 and a Capacitor for $229.00, A total of $1859.00. His quote did not specify labor charges. I sent Mike on his way, of course with his 15 minute pay of $99.00. I did some checking and self maintenance. Here are the results.
I paid $192.00 for an ignition module, $182.00 for a control board. The so called leaking capacitor would have been around $20.00. And, I found out capacitors don't leak oil. I put these items in myself, but my furnace still wasn't working. I was ready to throw in the towel. Think I would use AAA for a furnace replacement, absolutely not, would you. Anyway, I found a friend of a friend who came out. Went over everything, tracing the power back through all the connections. Travis found there was no 24 volt current coming out from a flame roll out relay switch. We did a bypass and low and behold, my pilot ignited and my 24 year old furnace worked perfectly. So you know the implications for AAA Heating and Mike. By way, to replace the relay switch will cost me around $20.00. Travis charged me $50.00, I paid him $75.00 as he saved me thousands. Guys like Mike and AAA Heating give a bad name to guys like Travis who are just trying to keep food on the table, and keep his Harley running.. So I ask again, is this the experience you want when it is butt cold out and you don't have any heat. !!!
We had a leak in the pipes in our basement and called AAA to come and give us an estimate. While the tech was here he gave us a quote of around $1800 to fix things. He then talked to us about a new water system that he could install that would help with out hard water and was wonderful. The cost for that system would be between $4200 and $5000 and that would include the pipe replacement from where it comes into the house to the new water system. It would cover all. My husband was reluctant to spend the money at that time so we waited and he worked on the pipes some. He finally got smart and had me call AAA to come back and we talked about the water system again. The quote we got was $4110 as their prices had gone down. We said go ahead - believing that the leaks would be taken care of with the replacement of the pipes. Imagine our surprise when we checked it out later and there was still water in our basement. They hadn't replaced the pipes, only installed the new water system. When I called the service tech he said they would send someone out to look at it. A different tech came out the next day and gave us an estimate of $1692 to fix the leaks. Of course I was upset so I called and talked to the tech's boss - after trying to reach him for several days. He said he would look into the problem and call me back. When he finally got around to calling me back he said he could only go on what the paperwork said and it wasn't clear that the leaks would be covered in the original quote. I asked him if he thought we would have called a plumber to begin with if we didn't have a problem. His response was basically that their prices had decreased so I should be happy. They wouldn't do a thing to make it right.
We have used AAA several times, but they won't be used by us again for anything. I feel that we were very much mislead and they weren't willing to fix our problem.
Had a/c, heating, new water heater and all new plumbing(pecks) and recently had my bathrooms remodeled( by a contractor) his plumber told me the bathroom water shut off's are super cheap and made of plastic and not attached to anything inside wall, not to mention no metal plates to protect the pecks in the studs, so put a screw through them, had to pay 300 bucks to have them replaced, then I called aaa about fixing the shut offs in bathroom that I didn't have remodeled, they fixed it with hesitance about me not paying for it and I was told you should always have a manager check the employees work? Even the inspector didn't notice? They admitted the shut offs were super cheap too, not even a follow up phone call afterwards? Spent sooo much money with them. Super disappointed. No bueno!

We always use Applewood Plumbing, a company that we have had great success with.A little pricey but always quality work. However, a coupler on a hose on my kitchen faucet broke and they couldn't come out soon enough. So I called AAA Service. Well, $338.00 later, the hose is fixed. For the money, must have something else, right? Nope! The plumber replaced a snap on hose. Took minutes. $338 ?????
Never again.

BUYER BEWARE ONE MORE TIME - Would give them less than 1 star if we could!
Problem: Pilot out on water heater and would not come on.
AAA Service came out promptly on the same day I called---that's a plus. However, it went way down hill from there. Once on site their licensed technician said we definitely needed a new water heater and he quoted us two options:
1) 50 gal 20-yr 40k BTU Bradford/White water heater ---their clubprice $3975, their std price $4680, or their financed price $5490.
2) 50 gal 6-yr 40kBTU Brad/White water heater: Club price $2920, Std price $3430, Financed price $4040. Note: To join club it was an addl, $18.95 month.
Honestly, we started laughing when we heard these numbers. Then the technician proceeded to tell us the venting was not up to recent code changes, valves corroded....blah blah. Whoa!
Solution: Its a water heater-----not re-plumbing the entire house. We quickly sent him on his way. Called a friend's plumber. He said we could just get a new pilot ignition for a cost of around $80. However, since the unit was old, we decided to get a new water heater and went to Home Depot for a middle of the road Rheem 50 gal, 9 yr 40k BTU self-cleaning unit. Plumber installed it SAME DAY & we paid $733 for the whole thing! BTW, venting and all connections were not replaced and passed City code inspection.
A few months ago we called AAA to scope our sewer lines, knowing it was probably full of holes, which it was. First we had called Applewood because, though they are expensive, they're supposed to be the best, right? Applewood wouldnt scope the line, saying they were afraid the camera might get stuck in a hole. After getting Applewood's quote we decided to call AAA, who sent out Joel. Right off the bat we could tell Joel knew more & had more experience than Applewood's guy. Joel was not afraid to run his camera through the lines, which we saw was full of holes. We needed to have 40 feet of pipe replaced under our finished basement floor. The quote was $7000 LESS than Applewood's. The AAA crew got the job done & cleaned up in 1 day! And Joel came back out on a Saturday to put our old carpet back down. Excellent service and our plumbing is perfect again! So when our furnace was blowing more cold air than warm we decided to call AAA again. Brendan F. had that puppy running great in 30 minutes. AAA has made customers for life out of us.

easy to get an appt. - good communication. just shy of 5 star because I had to call 2x to get clog removed. The second time the service call was much more thorough - drain has been running great since. Tony. O made sure all was checked out and gave great tips.
Ridiculously overpriced company on product and service. Don't let this company take advantage of you!
DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK! SO HOPE THEY GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!
I have used Garvins for years....silly me I decided to try someone new. Every couple of years my drain in the basement needs clearing so I called AAA Plumbing and they came out and supposedly cleared the drain. Now a month later, the drain is backing up and made a mess (wasn't watching it carefully cuz should be good for two years or so).
Now they want to charge me for a visit because it has been over 14 days. AND I have a mess to clean up. Needless to say I am not double paying for a such a scam. Garvins here I come.
The gal I spoke with had the audacity to sound defiant like I am asking for something for free. Unbelievable
DON'T USE THESE SCAM ARTISTS
AAA provided great service on the furnace, a/c, and gas fireplace inspection and check. They were very responsive and Jamie H was friendly, skilled and thorough thorough.

Tommy D. (technician) was prompt, professional and helpful. He even found a way to save us some serious repair dollars without compromising his integrity or company. He camne out on short-notice and fixed our problem quickly and did not push or try to sell us anything we did not need. Customer focused.

So we bought a salt free water softener and wanted it installed in our new home. We called AAA and they set up an appointment to come out. Darrell B came out to our house and basically told us it was a horrible idea to buy a water softer and that he didn't want to do it until we did our own research. He told us we need to research that water softeners always destroy the house because the salt. After he showed up he was only there for a few minutes and decided he was gonna quote us for over $3000 dollars to install a water softener. We have gotten many other quotes from $300-650. Darrell told us he did not want to do the work that day because it would take him too long and the lady over the phone promised he would be able that day. Who request work from someone they show up just to tell you that its a stupid idea and that he didn't want to do it. Worst customer service I have ever received and the lazy fuck shouldn't have even made his way out there if he knew it was water softener install that he did not want to do! Darrell do your own research and look into Aquasana and that they are salt free so next time youll think twice before you shoot down a customer. LIKE YOU EVEN SAID what do I know I'm just a plumber.
AAA plumber came out and gave me an estimate for a new garbage disposal and installation: $781 with a credit card, $ 703 cash.
I went out and bought a new garbage disposal for $100 at Home Depot, and had a Handy Man plumber come out and install it for $120. One star for showing up on time.
By far one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I tried scheduling with them to fix my tennant's running toilet, and they set a time of 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. They stated that they would also call him initially to confirm. They didn't call, and didn't show up. When I callled, they balmed the snow and said they sent my tennant a text message. That never happened.
When I tried to rescheudle, they set a time of 9:00 am the next day. I let me tennant know, and they called be back to reschedule again to 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. When they finally showed up, they replaced the flapper valve, and it didn't fix the problem, They then gave me (2) options:
1) Buy a new toilet at $975.00. WTF?? Toilets cost $200
2) Rebuild the existing at $675.00. Still outrageous, but a lot cheaper.
I chose option 2, and the plumber said he would be out the next day to repair. Later that evening, my tennant called me to let me know that the flapper was incorrectly installed, and that the plumber said he couldn't find parts for my toilet because it was so old.
It's obvious that they were trying to rip me off and sell me a new one. Needless to say I terminated them and will never use them again. Complete garbage of a company.
This business is horrible. I called them to help check the noise on my AC. The dispatching lady told me was $79 for service call. The tech guy came in for half an hour and told me the job was done. He needed to charge me $375. What he has done was open the AC and re mounted the fan. There was no parts. Only labor for $375. I am disputing this charge with them.
I would like to add a very positive review for AAA Service. The Service Technician, Don Douglas, came out and fixed my A/C problem in 2 hours. It was an emergency situation as we had no air on the hottest days of the year. I called, got an appointment in 3 days and the AC was working in 2 hours. Don was informative, professional and very easy to work with. We are highly satisfied service members now! I would recommend this company .
Really pleased with AAA; Ron G was friendly, prompt, and educational! AAA Service's communication was terrific -- they were able to fit me in quickly without an emergency fee. In addition, I received an email confirming my appointment and a follow-up to ensure I was pleased with the service. I'll definitely use AAA Service again, and would hope to see Ron G, who was great to work with.

I've had great experiences with this company in the past. My wife was tired and concerned of the water pipes banging when we shut the water or sprinkler valves changed. It took a few days to set the appointment. I got a call they finished the previous job early and could arrive early. That was good news. Two men arrived shortly after the call neatly dressed in clean uniforms. They surveyed the job to install a new Water Pressure Valve Regulator . The water pressure from the city was measured at 108 lbs. at the hot water tank. City code would like it to be 80 lbs.. or less. The house was built in the 70's and probably had no code restriction. Doug did mention the 8 year old hot water may need replacement soon based on the units age. I was given a quote for the valve of $665, which I signed. Within a little more than 30 minutes the work was completed very in a very satisfactory manor. The pricing for 30 minutes work sure seems over the top. As a senior I feel ripped off by AAA Service on Price. The tech Doug doesn't control the price. He pulls a fixed price up on his IPAD. I've trusted this company in the past, but will shop around before giving them a call for a quote on any additional work, i.e. the water heater. The bottom line is great technicians, trustworthy and efficient - pricing is off the charts.
Outrageous and deceitful!!! Water heater went out on a Monday morning. As a rental property owner I have installed several water heaters myself but was at the mercy of a company such as AAA because of the timing (i.e., if this had happened on a Friday, I would have had it fixed that afternoon, but I have to work all week long). We are talking about a 30 gallon, residential water heater inside an easily accessible closet on the ground floor of a house. The technician called me at work to give me a quote before beginning the job----$2,000.00!!!!!!!! He was also well trained by AAA in 'selling' the service component and changing the plumbing set up as part of the price. He also informed me that 30 gallon tanks were no longer available.
I was so outraged that I cancelled the service call. At the end of the work day I went to Home Depot; whaddayaknow????? rows of 29-30 gallon tanks!!!!! I switched out the tanks and the perfectly good pipes lined up exactly with the new tank. After installing a new flexible gas line the price tag came to----are you ready for this????---$357 for the tank and $10 for the gas line------$367 total!!!!
Now, even if you don't have the time or skills to replace a water heater (really a pretty simple homeowners job)-----$2,000 minus $367 leaves a labor bill of $1,633.00!!! It took me less than 3 hours to complete this job------WOW!!! someone should pay me $544 per hour to install water heaters-----I'll quit my day job.
I will never use AAA for anything!!!!!!!!
I called AAA to get an estimate and they told me it would be $99. When they called to change the time, they role me since the house was empty it would be $199. The person I find this kind of bait and switch pricing so typical of this industry. I would never recommend AAA
Never EVER again!! We've used this company three times. The first time, we loved them! They were so kind and understanding and they did great work. The second time was about a year later and once again we thought they did a great job and they were really nice. 6 months later we had a backup and they told me it was covered by warranty. After they did the work, they gave us the bill and it was not free by any means.
We then were in the process of selling our house (2 months later) and the buyer had another sewer scope company come out to video the lines. There were the a couple sections with roots (not uncommon) but there was a thick white calcium build up as well. We called AAA Plumbing to see if this would be covered and the lady said you bet. Especially because we had a buyer for the home. They also told me that they would video it for free.
The new buyer wanted a DVD of the video because she could not make it to the cleaning. I called AAA one more time to see what additional cost the DVD would be. She looked at our notes and said, you always receive a DVD with the scope. I confirmed the cost once more with her and she said we are going to be doing the cleaning, scope and DVD at no cost to you. Okay, GREAT!!
NOPE!!! They showed up throwing $199 out at us and even the supervisor wouldn't budge. Plus, they used the best line in the book, she is a new employee and didn't understand the policies. We had already signed contracts with the buyer that AAA would be taking care of the DVD and then they pull this stunt. They tried to compromise by giving me a discount on the DVD since we were under contract. Furious!
Had AAA plumbing install a new water heater for me (one which I purchased myself and transported to my place of residence). The technicians were at my house for less than an hour and charged me $2,000 for the install! This is plumbing; not rocket science or brain surgery. While the work seemed to be of good quality, the price is simply outrageous and in my opinion gouging. Everyone I've spoken with about my experience gasped and said the fee was unheard of and 10 times higher than anything they've ever paid for a water heater install. Please don't support these guys. Take your hard earned money and give it to a smaller company who won't rip you off! Please don't make the mistake I did of drastically overpaying for a simple service and being taken advantage of.

Ray W was my master plumber. He was great and talked through all actions that he was going to undertake clearly. The problem with a leaking pipe is now fixed. While they are expensive (I was given a discount), I feel very confident in the quality of workmanship and the job done.

I had Rich come out from AAA Service to give me a quote for replacing my furnace and AC in a rental property I own. The quote he gave me was ridiculous, $ 11,142 for the high end and $10,789 for the lower quote. This is a 2 bedroom 816 square foot condo, on top of that he tried to trick me into signing the contract, said the signature is just for him coming out I said no. A previous quote from another company is around $4800.
This was my 3rd service from AAA. I used them the first time for plumbing, second time was to service my furnace and the third time was to install an outside outlet. Everyone was friendly, on time and did a great job. I would definitely use them again.
I have used AAA Service 4 or 5 times now and have always had a great experience. Today Zach D. came out to fix my drain problem. He went above and beyond my previous experience, which really blew me away since past experience has been so good.
Zach really took the time to explain the issues with my plumbing, then he gave me a number of options with different price points. He couldn't have been nicer or more professional.
Plumbing problem solved and the best possible experience with AAA Service.
Thanks Zach!!!!!!
DO NOT USE. They completely will take advantage of the situation. They lied to me and told me I had to have a short water heater instead of a regular water heater and charged me $3300 ($3200 with coupon). I have even had the mechanical inspector out to look at it and they agreed that this was not needed.
These guys were prompt, professional and did a great job. They called ahead to let me know when they were going to be there, rather than give you the 3 hour time window and just show up...I appreciated that.
Just had Ron Griego out to my house from AAA Service - he was very knowledgeable and offered some good alternatives to save me money (who knew about the power flush with a bucket of water!) when my toilets got backed up. He was also great with my dog and the prices seemed reasonable for him being here 1.5 hours to fix all of my toilets and some other random items.

Several months ago I called AAA for a sump pump issue. The technician, John K., came out on time and tried for an hour to recreate the problem. Since he couldn't get it to malfunction again, there was no charge. Today I needed their help to unclog my kitchen sink drain and specifically asked for John K. Again he came on time, spread drop cloths on the floor, and carefully fed his cable in the full 50 ft., rotating it to clean out the line (plus poking through the clog). I turned down the expensive container of BioClean, so the total fee today was their advertised $79. What a deal! Oh, and instead of replacing the same old plastic pipes under the kitchen sink (that had to be removed to access the drain), he installed new ones at no extra charge. John K. left my kitchen floor cleaner than he found it as his drop cloths picked up the dirt that was on the floor when he arrived. I plan to use AAA Services in the future and will always ask for John K.
Do not call! Had a water heater that needed to be replaced and they wanted to charge $3,300. I asked why the quote was so high? The response was because they make sure all the proper paperwork and permits are completed. Also, they were going to install a 30 gallon tank as opposed to a 40 gallon because they claimed it wouldn't fit. I called Lowes and they had someone come out and quote it at $840 and had no problem fitting a 40 gallon tank. They also looked into the warranty for me and I got the tank for free, only had to pay $350 for labor. In essence AAA was trying to charge me 10X more. Do not call unless you want to waste money. Also, they try to sell you on becoming a monthly club member at the low price of $20 a month for some garbage service. Company is a scam, do not call.

I absolutely love this company! It's because no matter what issue I have, no matter who they send out, they always go above and beyond to fix the problem! James W. was out to my house last week to fix a very clogged drain and did so while smiling and entertaining my daughter the whole time! Thanks again!
I called them for a water heater quote which required them to come onsite for the quote. The tech was nice and helpful but the quote, which was from their pre-priced database, was over $3000 for water heater replacement. I called two other local plumbers and got quotes over the phone for about $1200. I ended up getting the new water heater installed for a total of $1250. Save yourself money and shop around first if you don't want to pay for expensive service and a warranty you don't need. Also, I got a quote for $350 from AAA Electrical for replacing a bad ballast in my closet. I ended up doing it myself and it was super easy. It cost me $30 bucks for the new ballast and about 30 mins to replace.
I wish I would have done my research on this company before having them come out to fix two broken outlets on a rental property. I asked when scheduling an estimated cost per hour and was told the technician would call me with a price when he got there. I was told that they do not charge by the hour and they could not give me an idea on cost. I was shocked when the Electrician called and told me $800 to fix the outlets. I had to pay the service charge and told them there was no way we would pay the overcharged price. I would never recommend this company! Such a horrible to take advantage of people. I was able get it fixed for a forth of the price they wanted. I called and left a message to discuss my dissatisfaction with the company and no one returned my call.
AAA Service is the best. Just recently, I've called them for some sink and toilet issues. They scheduled both appointments quickly and worked around my schedule. The technicians showed up on time. They were pleasant, efficient and clean, in spite of the kind of work that had to be done. I most certainly appreciate this kind of service.
Ron was so good at explaining my situation. He was very informative and friendly. He analyzed my problem and corrected it . I would recommend this company to my friends and call if I need any more work done.

AAA Service was extremely responsive and the technician showed up on time. He was very helpful in explaining what was going on with my furnace and helped me make good choices for repair work.
I would highly recommend AAA Service and Treavor.

Matt Dallmann came to service our furnace after a house inspection needed to sell our house. He went over and above to ensure we, it was done right, done completely, as well as added a few nice touches to help the future owners with signage. I've use AAA plumbing for a few years and always go back to them.
Zack D. was a tremendous help with the drains in my house. He was knowledgeable and thorough. I would recommend AAA Service based on my experience.

Wow. 860 to install a gas control onto the boiler. Over a barrel b/c we have been freezing for the past 3 days. I am wondering if this is exorbitant or I am just not used to such prices. I cannot give more than two stars unless I know that the price was fair. The part installed was a White Rodgers Universal gas control
I called several companies this morning and chose to go with this company because they were going to come out to my house and help me after I had been with frozen pipes for the past two days, just out of the hospital from a major surgery and a single mom of a four-year-old. John called me approximately 1:00 PM to verify that I still wanted to keep my appointment time which was between two and 4:00 PM because many people had been canceling due to their water beginning to flow because of warmer temperatures. I advised him that I would like to keep my appointment since I had been waiting at home all day for their arrival as it was, had been outside with severe injuries and getting a space heater set up in order to try to help with all the pipes for them, but I still wanted them to help me with a more permanent solution. John advised me that he would have a technician out as soon as one became available sometime between 2 PM and 4 PM. At 1:45 PM, Sophia called me and stated that they were canceling my appointment because they were going to concentrate on emergencies only, even though I had an appointment that was not an emergency appointment to begin with and all of their other emergencies had been canceling on them per johns call. I let her know that I would take my business elsewhere and she was perfectly fine with that. It looks like from all of their horrible reviews, they will not be in business long. As a business owner myself, I do not often leave negative reviews, but these people wasted my entire day and now I start from square one again. very horrible customer service.
Gordon was on-time and quickly finished the job. He showed my the parts he was installing and explained how they were better than the current parts. Highly recommend AAA Service.
I had a great experience with this company. We had a main drain backup and really needed a quick fix. Cameron was out the next day on a weekend and solved the problem. First we thought it might be two problem but Cameron fixed the main drain and saved us time and money.
My wife and I called AAA Service to com out and replace our 50 gal hot water heater. They showed up and assessed the problem and determined told us that the repairs would be $2777 (but they did offer a $100 discount). I questioned the technician why this was so high as Home Depot had Rheem water heaters for somewhere in the range of $800 dollars. He said that was AAA standard flat rate. Their estimate did not show me a breakout of materials and labor. As we had water soaked carpets and was very interested in a quick fix I told them to do the work. After they started my wife made some phone calls and was told at the most this work should have been more in the neighborhood of $1200 to $1400 and she stopped the technicians. She asked why we were being charge so much more that what a typical installation would be. He said his rate was based on the cost of materials and estimated time to do the work. When he was done he filled out the invoice on his tablet and I asked for an invoice that shows what I got for materials and labor he said that he emailed me a copy. The email copy was not itemized so I called their office the next day and the representative on the phone said they only provide a lump sum invoice. I have never heard of this before. How do I know if I was ripped off by the cost of materials or labor?? Not that it makes much difference I realize now that I was definitely RIPPED off. I really blame this on my lack of knowledge on what these repairs should have cost and thing AAA took advantage of this. Needless to say AAA will never get another dime from me and I will share this experience with anyone I know who ask my opinion of AAA. I think AAA should know that, while they may be making some good money ripping customers off eventually the word is going to get out and there is going to be a big sale on pink service vehicles. Definitely avoid spending any money with this firm.
Outrageously expensive! 2 hours to repair one pipe joint coupling = $1,265.00. And that included traveling to pick up the coupling. Refused to break out the estimate by parts and labor or to provide any hourly rate for labor! No detail as to the cost of one pipe coupling. When the water supply for your home is cut off because of a leak, they seem to take advantage of the fact that you don't have time to gather estimates. Horrible business practice. I recommend finding another plumbing company.
horrible! I scheduled a plumber for an easy gas hook up job and was given the day and time that they chose and he was a 'no show' (after I took the afternoon off work). So I rescheduled a second time at their request, and they were a no show a second time! And after that, nothing more than 'sorry we need to reschedule a third time.
My scheduled appt time was 2-4, I took the afternoon off work to accommodate this as I was anxious to get my repairs completed. Around 245 someone called to say the technician would be running late, closer to 4pm. At 420 I was called again saying the technician would not be able to make it today. Furious. No other technician was available and I wasted an afternoon not getting paid waiting on nobody. I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing - they are coming later tonight. They seem to have a reputation for being on time...something I can't say about AAA who has been most disappointing.
When the guy from AAA couldn't get my sewer pipe unclogged, he just assumed there was a low spot in the line. He called a coworker to scope the pipe with a scope that didn't even make it 10 feet away from the house. They tried to charge me over $4,000 to replace the sections of the pipe closest to the house, but they still didn't know where the true repairs needed to be made, so he said that it would likely cost even more. I wasn't going to spend the money on a repair when the guy couldn't tell me for sure what was wrong, so I called another company to take a look at it. It turned out it was just full of sludge and the standard cable machines couldn't clear it. I had it water-jetted and then had someone scope it with a scope that actually reached to the end of the pipe, and it turns out there's NOTHING wrong with the pipe! AAA tried to scam me into spending THOUSANDS of dollars that I don't have to make a repair that was completely unnecessary.
Classic misleading organization. I had AAA come out yesterday to replace a valve under the sink. I had meetings set all day and guests coming over later so I needed to get it done. It would have only been a 5-10 minute job with a $10 part to screw in...no soldering. My neighbor let the serviceman in and they quoted $280 including the trip fee! When I spoke to them over the phone they were unwilling to quote a price until the person showed up, but they assured me they were the most competitive in the market. Ha! I called up 5 different companies(licensed, fully insured w/their own trucks) and got 5 quotes under $70 and ended up getting it done for $45. The number of stories of these guys taking advantage of the desperate and unknowing is astonishing. My friends and family refuse to use them.
Scoped my sewer line for a home inspection and quoted me $13225 in repairs. We hired another company who only does inspections and doesn't do any work for a second opinion and the hole in the sewer AAA reported was a piece of schmuck, and the low point they said would require tearing up the street and replacing the tap was fine. No evidence of a backup at that spot ever. 3' long low point in a 200' line is a non event. Not too mention the price they quoted for an unnecessary repair was easily 3-4 times too high. Make your own decision as to whether you want to trust your home to this company. I give them an F.

Wish I had read the reviews first before calling, as our experience was very similar to many. Our neighbors recommended this company and are members of the club. We are still recovering from being ripped off by another big box plumbing/heating/HVAC company last July when we paid over $800 for a waste disposal replacement on another sink. We knew it was way overpriced at the time, but they arrived in the middle of cooking & serving dinner, we had a house full of guests, and it was approaching the 4th of July holiday. I didn't have the time or energy to research the matter last year. I now know that the identical disposal sells for under $100 retail - anywhere and everywhere.
When I contacted AAA I requested a quote for a new 1/2 HP disposal and a quote to install one I will provide. I was told by dispatch they cannot quote (and that's so they can charge you $50 to send a tech out to give you the outrageous quote.). I was given an apt between 4pm-6pm. I headed out to purchase a replacement disposal - for $95) While I was buying the replacement, I received a call from dispatch asking if I could move the appointment time up, because the tech had a cancellation and could come over immediately. I hurried home for the alleged 2pm arrival. At 3pm I called dispatch and was told it would probably be a half hour or so. The dispatcher said she didn't know why the tech didn't show after they contacted me to move the appointment time up. The tech showed up right at 4pm, my original appointment window. He came in and agreed the disposal needed to be replaced. He quoted $600 to buy the identical item from them and $423 to have him install the one I already purchased (I think that was club pricing.). I'm still kicking myself for falling for the scam yet again and having to pay $50 to have someone come out to my house just to tell me how much they can soak me for. We thankfully had a neighbor's handyman come over and show us how to do it. Took 15 minutes tops, and that was slow because we wanted to see how to do it ourselves for next time. I can assure you he asked us for much less than our AAA quote to do the job.
The tech that came to the house was really nice and apologetic for having to be the bearer of bad news, for quoting totally outrageous pricing for a simple job, and having to collect $50 for the useless visit. On his way out he assured me it was a simple task and could be done on my own. He was right.
WARNING to those unfamiliar with what a boiler inspection for safety and routine cleaning should cost: I am a realtor and well aware of what a furnace or boiler safety certification and routine cleaning should cost (usually between $150-250). This company charged one of my clients who didn't know better $850 for checking the boiler and cleaning it out a bit. A little over one hour of work.
When I called their customer service office and complained about the price, which by the way, they refused to give to my Seller before they came to his home and charged him a $100 service fee , they said that is what we charge for cleaning and inspecting a boiler.
So realtors and homeowners BEWARE!
Unbelievable pricing! Prepare to bend over. Asked them to come
over and take out a faucet that had just been installed. Just the
removal, not even the installation of another faucet. Were
quoted $468! Asked the service tech how long he thought the
job would take and he said half an hour. When we told him to
leave he called his supervisor and the estimate was cut down
significantly to $300 just by asking. That's still ridiculous for a
half hour's work with a basin wrench. We told him that Lowe's
charged $109 to take one out and install another one. The tech
asked then why were we calling them. Told him that we'd used
his company before and thought we'd give them more business.
Next time, Lowe's it is. The problem was resolved by calling a
friend for a favor and the whole job actually took 10 minutes.
I used AAA for hot water heater replacement. They ripped me off for $2000. I was in distress, I am a senior, and they took every advantage of me telling me that was the cheapest HW heater they had. It started out at $2700 with a 20 year warranty. Then I had to call and ask 3 times for someone to call me back ( after I came to my senses) and they took off the 20 year warranty and another $167. Whoopie! Later, when I had time to research, I found the whole job could have been done for $1000 for the HW heater and installation. Yes, their serviceman was very nice, should be for that kind of money. Steer clear of these people, they will rip you off royally

I called first thing in the morning for a very slow draining tub and they scheduled me for same afternoon. James showed up on time. He was very through and cleared not only the huge blobs of hair that was stuck in two places in drain, but as our home is older also routed out the whole main line just to make sure we didn't have additional problems. James was friendly and the whole processed was pretty fast and inexpensive (just $99!). I was very happy and will use them again for clogged drains.
Good reviews for this company must be a scam. I was out of town, had a leak, friend called AAA Service. Their guy spent approximately 1 hour, minimal parts, and charged over $1,200! It was a Friday afternoon, I was out of town, emergency, and I paid it. A supervisor confirmed their policy, that pricing was unrelated to time and materials. A total rip off, scam artists.

i woke up to no hot water on 4/29/16. i called this company and they sent out Ray W.he informed me that he would overhaul my hot water heater for $900 dollars or i could get new one for $4000-5000 dollars. (are you kidding me,? for a water heater) since it t snowing and the weekend was coming i decided to let him repair it. the next morning i woke up to no hot water again so i called the company back and made an appointment for monday 5/2/16. another tech came out and told me my gas valve was not working and he would replace it for another $1000 and some dollars. this for a hot water heater that is twelve years old.i asked him to leave and went to home depot and ordered one to be installed tomoorrow fr i 1200.ifeel i was scammed by this company, the quoted their 20yr warranty but i don't need that i then went to home depot and ordered one installed for $1200. i will never us this company again. i also reported this to the BBB.
Wish I could post zero stars as this rip-off company doesn't even deserve one star. Have been getting their expensive flyers which tout their family-oriented service and abilities for some time. Had a few repairs around the house, such as a leaky bathtub faucet, and in which we've had new washers and seats installed over the years w/no problem, and a new float for our toilet in addition to putting in a new bathroom faucet to replace the old one which broke. I just bought a new one at Lowe's to be installed. Also wanted to get an estimate for fixing the end of a galvanized pipe into copper which I'm familiar w/as I had this done at a former home and understand what goes into such a repair.
When I first inquired as to the cost of these repairs before setting an appt, I asked if there was a service fee and what these jobs would entail cost-wise. Got the runaround w/no concrete answers and was not told that there was a service call fee. Some outfits will include the service fee as part of the work, others just charge by the hour. Have owned homes for over 30 yrs and had plumbers, electricians, main drains cleaned, etc. over the years so am very familiar w/what is a reasonable and fair charge for work done.
The people answering the phone were nice enough and I figured the co was a reputable and honest one. The technician came out during the timeframe we agreed on, and after looking at the above repairs, showed me a per job cost which amounted to over $1,000!!!! I about fell off my chair...oh, and I was told I'd be getting the military discount...big woop!! To add insult to injury, a service fee of $59 was going to be added to the bill. I told the technician that spending over $1000 for basically minor repairs which would add up to a couple of hours work is ridiculous and that I'd have been better off calling the plumber/electrical handyman whose work I admired across the street at $89/hour, no service call fee, but the guy is booked solid over the next month and I needed to get the bathtub leak taken care of first and foremost. Spending over $200-300 would have been reasonable considering the work done, but not over $1000...hello!!
In the end, the service fee was taken off as I was not told up front about this fee and the work not done as I would never even consider paying such an outrageous amount of $$ for these repairs. Needless to say, I cannot recommend or refer this co to anyone. I s'pose some people, who are not familiar w/home repairs, would not know any different or think they had to have the work done because the guy showed up...not me. I don't take to being hood-winked or buying into bait and switch operations, the latter which fits this co perfectly.

If you have a clogged drain or sewer line - these guys are as good as it gets for their roto-rooter service...prompt, clean and the price is right. HOWEVER, they are outrageously expensive on major plumbing work. I had a broken sewer line and their estimate to fix was just over 11 grand. Got two other estimates from BBB approved companies and both were under 6k and provided better cleanup services (i.e. replaced landscaping and stonework). Like so many other roto-rooter type companies out there .... they are looking to make way more than the $99 rooter fee. But I'm not sure I would trust them with much more.
I think they have a business model of overbooking appointments and then cancelling on people throughout the day. I have been cancelled on and then tried again and they guy was 3 hours late.

my 50 gal gas water heater went out on a saturday morning. i called a few places and finally got someone on the phone at AAA. The people were nice enough. although my tech was late and then had to leave during the appointment to get the materials from the shop but all in all I was happy. Until today when I realized I paid probably twice what I should have. I take some of the blame for not doing more homework, but its disappointing to have been gouged yet again by the home repair experts I will NOT be calling them for any problems I have in the future.

Terrible place. I told them I needed a quick estimate and they faxed it at the end of the next business day. The plumber said the estimate included getting the water heater up to code in Arapahoe County, though I told him Littleton code applied. When I called customer service to ask for the $49.95 charge to be refunded, Chris, the CS manager, ignored my messages then let the poor receptionist tell me, No refund, that's not how we do business, while he stood next to her and coached her! Mike the plumber did the work for $950. AAA's estimate? $1,900.

Electrician Jon Redman was EARLY for his service call and very honest by being up front about some chewed wires that actually didn't end up requiring any repairs (which I obviously have no expertise in and would have paid if we were told it was necessary!) His honesty is so refreshing. This is our new go-to company!

I finally know what it is like to be robbed without a gun. AAA came out and repaired a water leak at a copper line. It should have raised a red flag when they said they could have a tech at my house within 2 hours and when the tech didn't have the right fitting to make the repair and would have to go and get the right part. He returned with the parts and was done with the job in 1 hr. Total cost $417.00. Oh they did give me a senior discount of 5%! When I called and asked for a itemized bill Kathy stated that they charged a flat rate. If thats the case then they should have been able to give me an estimate over the phone. Bottom line is if you need plumbing repairs don't even consider this company unless you like getting ripped off!

I would like to give them 0 stars. It is pretty hard to rate a company that keeps rescheduling/cancelling an appt for air conditioning repair. I originally scheduled an appt for 8am and then someone else called me right back saying that they couldn't do it then b/c it will not be warm enough yet. Fair enough, so we moved it to 4:00pm-6:00pm. They called me at 2:00pm asking if they could come right then because their tech was in the area. I apologized and told them I was at work and could not do it now and would like to stick with my 4:00pm-6:00pm time slot, they said okay. Now an hour before my appt they called me and said that they will need to reschedule for a different day because their tech went home! I asked if they tech knew about our 4:00-6:00pm appt and she said yes but they went home. I explained that I had worked this appt out with my company so that I could take off early, she said sorry but they went home. I told them I would find another company. So if you have the time to wait for them to call and ask to come over at any hour of the day then maybe this is your company, but if you are on a schedule and like reliability....find someone else.
First of all the technician showed up 3 hours after my scheduled window due to carry over from their previous job. When the technician showed up they saw the for sale sign in my front yard which I believe was a driving factor in the quote that they provided to me. Essentially to fix my problem we needed to re-route about 25 feet of pipe. The issue is that I was quoted $6,000 to correct the problem. The technician told me is was so expensive due to the fact that its copper pipe and since the old pipe is copper we have to use copper going forward. This is of course not true at all. I was able to re-route the pipes myself using copper to ABS conversion couplings. We I re-routed the pipe I used all of the proper drops, sweeps and it had the correct amount of fall. I was able to correct this issue MYSELF FOR LESS THAN $300. How is it possible that I get a $6,000 quote yet am able to fix it myself for less than $300. I honestly feel like I was being taken advantage of seeing as how they saw the for sale sign in my front yard. Most blatant and unfair service I think I have ever gotten. If you don't feel like being robbed of your money, use a different plumbing service!

Forget the missed appointments, for no reason other than unethical billing practices this company needs to go out of business. Stay far away from them. I'm surprised at the positive reviews frankly, though they may be plants or people the workman figured knew what they were talking about and could financially rape. The ethics of this company put them in a very low class of sub-human individuals that prey on the weak and ignorant.
My mother-in-law has been a customer of theirs for a few years and always thought they were on the pricey side but they seemed to do good work so she stuck with them. Last time around the plumber pushed it too far though and she called me to ask my opinion of the price quote and/or was it maybe something I could come and repair since I've done some simple plumbing around the house.
They had a minor burst pipe in the house and the plumber was quoting ~$1000 to fix it. Nothing more than replace a 1-2ft section of copper pipe and the water was already turned off. This was at 4pm on a Tuesday afternoon. By the time all the phone calls were worked out between my MIL at work, her pregnant daughter at home dealing with the plumber, my brother in law, and myself, the plumber had already started work without authorization. The next I hear, the plumber has completed work within about 30 minutes and kindly knocked the bill down to $550. Unfortunately, it had also been determined by the ladies that the discount was helpful and the bill was paid.
Calling around to a handful of 5 star yelp reviewed companies netted quotes for the same service ranging from $100-200 and very clearly defined standard service fees. Talking to several of them I was informed that what AAA did to my mother in law is not exactly industry practice but there are some shops around town noted for this practice.
I called the shop and asked to talk to a manager to determine if this was just an unethical workman that had been sent out. The slippery individual I spoke to refused to be pinned down on whether this was a standard practice, or whether it would be a problem in his opinion if my side of the story were actually true. Instead I got a line that he couldn't comment until he had the actual invoice back in the shop and I should call back in a week to discuss it. When I suggested we might take it up with the credit card company he kindly informed me that if we had already signed and provided credit card info on the invoice we were stuck with the payment since the workman had completed the work and the signature was verification that we had approved of the result. No reiteration that we should talk later or that a partial refund would be provided or the workman fired if any of it turned out to be true.
Looks like all the people with missed appointments dodged the bullet.
I called about getting an estimate for a backflow preventer installed for a lawn sprikler system. They wanted $50 to come out to give me an estimate. It is tap an existing pipe, go up above the soil 2 feet, 90, union, backflow preventer, union, 90 down to my valve box. I said no thanks, $50 for an estimate on a job where the parts will be $200 and install maybe 2 hours. I got 4 calls in the next 3 hours with them trying to get me to okay them to come out. Told them not to call and they still did. Save yourself the headache.
Scheduled a furnace fix at 9 am on a Sunday as tenants had no heat. Appointment was for 5 pm.....they called back at 2 pm to cancel as technician couldn't make it.....and offered to reschedule for Wednesday. Really!!!! My tenants had no heat!!! Their actions directly lead to my tenants having to wait for fix until Monday as too late in day to get anyone else. Don't use these people unless you want to get the run around.
Terrible and overcharge. I had a simple request to cap a gas line. The first person sent out looked at the furnance and did not work on the gas line even after I told them what I wanted. After this I called them and they sent out a plumber. The plumber charged me $500 to cap a gas line that took him 45 minutes to do. The are sending another person out to work on the furnace, but at this point I won't work with them. Their prices are a rip off.
We hired AAA for some fairly major work as we had used them a few years ago to put in a new sewer line at our old house. We did not bid out the job - we should have - and the price we were quoted was very high. We went ahead with the work, thinking it would be worth it because AAA is a good company that stands by its work. I couldn't have been more wrong. Two months later, we discover a leak in a connecting pipe, and not only does AAA refuse to accept any responsibility for damaging the pipe connection, they also quote us a price to repair is that was nine TIMES (I am not kidding) as much as the licensed plumber just charged us to do the repair. I will never use AAA again, and neither should you.

They charge a ton and expect to charge more to come out and fix the problem they didn't fix the first time they were called out to fix it. I told AAA my swamp cooler would stop blowing air, especially on hot days - the technician responded with 'That's weird'. I should have sent him away at that remark and called someone who had an idea of what might cause the problem and how to fix it, rather than 'that's weird'. $500 later, my unit was serviced and had a new water line run to it... but now on a hot day when I need it to work, I sit here in a hot house wishing I would have called someone who knows how to service/fix swamp coolers rather than an overall service company. Sadly, after what this company charged me for their initial visit, I may be stuck in a hot house for a long time to come.
We just called up AAA Today based on their website. They listed a $79 tune up for ACs. When we called to find out how much they charge to come over and their rate per hr (because we were questioning the authenticity of the ad, based on bad past experiences), sure enough it was $100 to come over and they couldn't tell us how much per hr if there was a problem they would charge for labor to fix it. Another HVAC SCAM!!!
I had a very bad experience recently utilizing the services of AAA Service Plumbing & Electrical. They quoted me a $29 price to have a plumber and electrician show up at my house for a diagnosis and than they would bid the jobs from there. It seemed like a fair offer especially with the very low $29 fee for the initial diagnosis. Unfortunately, by the time I was done I felt like it was a bait and switch. The electrician walked around the home for about 15 minutes and found a GFI outlet that was tripped and solved the problem of one of the outlets not working. When he got to the 2nd outlet that was not working I told him I had tried replacing the outlet myself. That is when he pulled out the book and quoted me a price of $173 to fix the problem. I reluctantly agreed and within 10 minutes he pulled out the outlet, identified that it had been wired wrong and fixed the problem. It felt like he knew exactly what the problem was as soon as I told him I had attempted to replace the plug and rather than pull the outlet before quoting me the price he made sure to give me the quote first. It was like he saw me coming and I felt very much taken advantage of. Next came the plumber. He took onle look at a leaking ball valve and quoted me a price of $600 to replace it. After the experience with the electrician I told him no thanks. After hearing me reply with a no thanks he followed up with available discounts. Again it felt like let's see how much money we can get out of this guy . I ended up getting the plumbing job done by a certified plumber for half the price AAA quoted me.
I do not usually post reviews for businesses. This is the second time I have ever done this but I feel VERY compelled to do so. I don't know what kind of people they have running their business at AAA Service Plumbing and Electrical, but they are really not good at their job. We made an appointment 3 or 4 weeks ago on a Monday for someone to come and look at our air conditioner as it was not working at all. They called and rescheduled to Tuesday (no big deal). Then on Tuesday, they called and rescheduled for Wednesday. At this point, we thought, wow, they must be having a rough week. On Wednesday, they called and attempted to reschedule again and we told them (we spoke to Jackie Dickman) we do not have air conditioner at all (first few 90 degree days) and we do not want to be rescheduled again. They looked into it, seemed to feel bad and ended up keeping their appointment for Wednesday. Then, last week came and we needed another technician to come and look at our thermostat because it kept tripping. They needed to schedule an appointment for last Friday (6/19). Of course, they called on Friday and needed to cancel and reschedule for another day. SO, we (like idiots giving someone way too many chances) accepted as we weren't in a huge hurry and rescheduled an appointment for this Friday (6/26). Today, less than an hour ago, AAA called AGAIN because they need to cancel that appointment and reschedule again. We FINALLY wised up and declined as we are going with a different and better company. The reason why you see so many good reviews here is because their techs inform their customers that they will receive incentive bonuses for every good review posted. I'm sure the techs are all great but the people running the show are terrible at managing a business and can't keep a commitment to save their life. What if we all did our jobs like they are running theirs? I have no respect for this company and I know there are much better options out there that will keep commitments to their customers.
I'm very disappointed with their service. With anything in business, it's better to under-promise and over-deliver. My swamp cooler quit working and I have company coming to town in two days and needed it to not be 90 degrees in my house. They gave me several time options for a Friday and was willing to take off work to have them come out. They were schedule for between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. At 1:00 I get a call from them saying they were overbooked and wouldn't be able to make it. I would have gladly scheduled a different time that they were available and not taken a day off of work! Very disappointing service and I had several estimates on other projects I was going to have them do.
Horrible!!! Run!!! This business overcharges. They will not quote you an estimate on the phone. We were charged a ridiculous price. We are busy people who don't have a lot of time and we expected to be treated honestly. We overpaid 3 X's for the service. Very unhappy. Take your business anywhere else!!!
If I could give NO stars, I would. Massively over-priced. Always up selling their monthly service agreement. They tell you that you are a priority customer if you take them up on the agreement, but then they completely ignore you if you call with questions, concerns - anything and everything. The person in charge of the permit process scanned our permit to us twice BLANK, then just decided to ignore me when I told her the third time it was blank, and I actually sent it back to her for her to see. No returned phone calls either. Inspector came today and the hot water heater FAILED inspection. Priority customer? NO. NO ONE AVAILABLE to come to my home on yet another day I have taken off work to fix their error!!! When I called to speak to a manager, I was transferred three times, then ended up speaking to voice mail for an unidentified employee. Bottom line: I overpaid by at least $700 - $1000, based on post-project research, only to have this thing fail and to experience the kind of customer service that models with friends like these...who needs enemies.

I have had a year long nightmare with these people. The plumber and electrician for our $9000+ job were great, but everything else about this whole job has been unprofessional and incompetent. They took almost a year (I called numerous times and they sent 3 different people out) for them to finally cover the back of the new electrical box so we could get the inspection done. The inspection permit was originally done for the state. I was informed by the state electrical board that because of where I live, it needed to go through my county. I informed AAA of this. When they FINALLY finished the job 2 months ago, they got me a new inspection permit, THROUGH THE STATE, even though I verified with Carrie on the phone that it needed to go through the county. I called again today to try to get this fixed so I can get the inspection done because we are having more work done on the house, (including a NEW ELECTRICAL BOX BECAUSE THIS ONE, THAT WE PAID $$$ FOR WONT SUPPORT CENTRAL AIR), and Carrie told me something along the lines of she didn't have the option of getting the permit online through the county so she got it from the state. Needless to say, AAA isn't doing our A/C job. We've decided to go with someone who has competent office staff for this job.

The technician was nice but the price is outrageous. All they did was push a reset button inside the water heater and it cost me $220. I should've went with my better judgement and called an independent plumber. He recommended i change my water heater soon and it will cost $2100, yea right like i will ever call you guys again. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone, unless you want to feel taken advantage of.
I asked AAA to provide a video of my sewer line from the house to the city main, to make sure that there were no problems. The technician arrived on time and was very helpful. He walked me through what he saw on the video and answered all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and helpful.
We have had nothing bur excellent service from AAA. As a house that has been passed down through the family. Sure enough when you move into a new place everything seams to go wrong. Pluming issues, and a heater / ac issue. Every time they come out the guys are professional and I feel they are trying to help you understand the process while solving the problem. Very happy customers
You guys are awesome! Quick response, quality work, and I didn't have to climb in the crawl space! Leak repaired in 1 bathroom, water heater installed and new Roman Tub valves and trim! We are very happy with the results and service.
AAA was excellent! I have used them twice now and both times they have been honest a caring. The technician was wonderful in explaining everything, and I really trust the work that was done. The first time I called them I had some water damage that was causing the downstairs lights to flicker, and by the time I had them check it out, the flickering had stopped. I was still worried about damage so I had them come out anyways. The technician was honest enough to tell me that the issue had probably solved itself once it all aired out. They were more than happy to do a costly diagnostic, but recommended that I save my money and just call back if the problem started back up again. I knew right then that I could trust AAA because most other companies would have run the diagnostic anyways and charged me for nothing. They will always have my business!

HUGE black mark for this company today. I have frozen pipes, called to schedule an appointment understanding they are busy all over town and got one for Sunday, Dec 8th..................The company called me just a short while ago to cancel because they have a whole house frozen up and would not be able to get to me until Tuesday. I am handicapped, diabetic, have nowhere to go and stay and no-one to help. So, because a whole house is more lucrative than I am, I get the heave ho. I understand they are busy, but, when you have special needs people you DO NOT cancel them, you make them a priority. I had used this company twice before with no issues, but I am really upset at the attitude here and will never use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Technician was prompt and very courteous. Was a slight problem with the time; was scheduled for between 3-5 but he showed up around 1 pm because that was the time he got which was not a problem. My problem was the price for the service. I think I misunderstood the technician when I was talking to him on the phone or I was scammed (he had showed up early and I was not at the rental house as I had planned). The problem was the dryer had been being venting into the basement and the furnace was extremely dirty and filled with lint because of this. I was told he would need to do a Precision Tune & Pro Cleaning and the dryer would need to be vented which would require drilling a hole through the basement wall to the outside. I was, I thought quoted a price of $887 to do all of this. to which I said Shoot no for $900 I could just about buy a new furnace. Just do the cleaning and I will go get a dryer vent box from Home Depot on my way over. Which I did. After the technician was finished. about 3 hours he gave me bill. it was for $986. I asked why was this so expensive. He said because it was a lot of work ($99 for service call and $887 for cleaning). I said yes but it only took about 3 hours and that's about 300 bucks an hour that's a little expensive. No parts were replaced! . I paid but I learned a lesson. Not to use AAA again!
I will say the technician was very polite and courteous though.
I wanted to add that I complained to the company about my first encounter, the owner of the company called me at home and we had a long discussion on what happened and how she is putting things in place to prevent this, anyone who will call and take the time to listen has my respect, and I will try this company again.
Ron Was very professional and did a great job. I would use AAA Service and Ron again. I was very impressesd With plumbing service.
Only ask for Chris P to be your plumber!! He is the best at AAA Service. Not only was he prompt, fixed my leaking kitchen sink, but educated me on proper care of my sink, pipes, and garbage disposal. Chris P is professional and his customer service is the best. Also, Nate who makes your appointment is very kind and understanding on the phone when dealing with upset frantic customers calling in for help. Together, Nate and Chris P made my experience perfect, resolved my issue fast, and this satisfied-customer will use them again and again!!!! I highly recommend AAA Service for plumbing issues!!!
I called to set up an appointment - they scheduled me out for a week and a half. They said I could pick the time because they were wide open that day. 2 days before, I get a phone call that they are overbooked and need to reschedule. When asked why I am getting bumped and not others - she just kept saying they are overbooked.. TERRIBLE service!

Water heater broke down and asked AAAToday for help. Technican did show up on time and get the job done on the same day. However, without knowing the cost of a water heater, they quoted us $2100 for it and we went ahead without much idea. We later called other service companies in the local area, and all quotes were under $1k. Called back and discussed with the mgr about the pricing. They said their services aren't cheap but will drop few more hundreds to build a long-term customer relationship. Case close.
Set up an appointment with me to send someone out for a main line backup. At the time of the appointment they called and cancelled. Said they can be out in the morning, or they can recommend someone who MIGHT be able to help with similar pricing. WOW 99 bucks to clear a line does no good if they can not come. Very Displeased. Even a little heads up would have been nice. Will never call again.
I made an appointment online for 6-8 pm. They changed it from 5-7 and said the crew was ready if they could come earlier. I explained that I couldn't be home until 5:15 from work. I rushed home from work and no one came. They called at 6pm to cancel. They said that the crew was stuck on another job that was taking longer than estimated. Hmmm...they were sitting around waiting for me to get home wanting to come asap and then were tied up on another job. Seems more to me like they didn't want to work on Friday evening.

Made an appointment for 8am Saturday to replace outside faucet, they called later to reschedule to between 2 and 4 pm - 10 minutes to 4 the office called to say the tech was on his way and would be here within 30 minutes - I called the office 45 minutes later and told them I would find a company that wanted to do the work since they couldn't bother to show up. Save your time call someone else
If this is the same AAA Service located at 5550 Marshall St, Arvada.... well, the plumber was polite and knowlegable. He gave me outrageous prices, I went with the lowest option. It was an outdoor pipe that had broken, I had the City of Englewood come out to verify the broken pipe and repair, so they could credit some of the water usage. The technician came out and said I was totally ripped off, price wise. I paid $1,072 for the work done, the technician said $500 would have been a rip off.
AAA has great customer service. Recently, we had them out to jet one of our drains. Upon further review, it appear that something more serious was happening, so they took care of scheduling the next appointment for me around my schedule.
Our sewage drain backed up in the basement. Technician Ron arrived quickly, knew his stuff, and was able to get the problem solved in about 30 min. He was even able to open this rusted over cap that the Mr. Rooter guy (a couple of yrs ago when the same thing happened) was unable to open, and gave us some helpful advice on preventative maintenance, and we got a 1 r warranty on the work. All in all very satisfied and would use this company again. The only reason they did not get 5 stars is because the operator gave us a window in which the technician would show up and said she would call 30 min before they arrived. I never got a phonecall so I was still in my bathrobe and half asleep when the tech arrived, which was kind of awkward and I was initially kind of annoyed, but the tech was very professional and apologetic. Overall very pleased.
wrote my estimate a piece at a time Gave me a quote. I agreed, They Opened the ground , replaced ten feet of pipe I thought we were done. Payed them. . CLOSED the ground , came back with the camera a day or two later and told me that it had another problem and needed to be reopened for , of course, thousands more. I NEVER got the complete estimate initially, it was a nickel and dime at a time. The guy finished writing the estimate out , as I was telling him to leave.... What a CON..... I've spoken with other companies since and described this to them and they cant believe that this is how business is done. Neither can my neighbors.

the service man spent over 30 minutes telling me our water heater was 25 years old and needed replacement ($2800), garbage disposal needed replacement-($1000+), electrical connections, water pressure gauge needed installment basically adding up to at least $5000 worth of repairs. I agreed to having the toilet fixed which took less than 20 minutes and a $500.00 charge. Needless to say my husband is an attorney, my father an electrician and other family members gas and plumbing repair men. Look else ware and don't be tricked-get a second opinion before signing anything they present to you. Next reporting to the BBB.
Roberto came to my home, fixed my plumbing problem easily, and did not charge me an arm & a leg to get it done! Thanks Roberto!!

Very unethical and dishonest company. This company doesn't do good business. While I was traveling out of town, my wife called and told me our pilot light wouldn't stay lit. Knowing that this was a thermo coupler issue and a quick, cheap and easy fix, I called AAA. They wouldn't give me a quote, insisting on a $60 service fee. Hands tied I agreed. They came out and 20 minutes later charged my wife $400 for a fix that at most should have cost $150. If I did it myself it would have been $20. Boy, did she/we get taken. Then the service tech said that he inspected the water heater, and found a small leak after he installed the coupler. And then handed her a quote for $600 to fix that. What a joke. Having known that we would have opted to just replace the heater. Calling around for quotes on a water heater install, they are about $500 to $1000 more expensive than any other business I called. I called to complain and insist that they made an error in their repair cost, however no one who could help me was ever in. They did nothing to correct their erroneous charge for a 15 minute job and a part that cost $10. Shop around, read the reviews, and know what you're getting into. They hire a company to boost their reviews on google, but spend your time reading and you'll notice the patterns of similiar reviews. Call someone else and don't be fooled by the friendly people answering the phone.

were doing an estimate then wanted to charge$49.00 me for inspection and add on cost to do a estimate , don't use ?
We has a leak in our basement somewhere and called AAA to come out. The tech showed up and told us he was surprised that our pipes hadn't blown because the regulator controlling water flow from the main was broken and water pressure wasn't being controlled thus the leaking pipe. He had us in a total panic that our water pipes were going to explode. All said and done the bill came to $2600. We felt we didn't have a choice to fix the problem. The tech set us up with financing and seemed so helpful. The next evening we went downstairs only to see we still had a leak and nothing had been fixed. We've since discovered that the leak was coming from the water valve on the toilet which was a 5 maybe 10 dollar part. We had a reputable plumber come and take a look. He called his supplier to find out the parts (which weren't even necessary) came to $228 dollars. The plumber was here for 3 hours. This means we were charged $800 an hour for labor. These people are criminals and should be sitting in a jail cell! Warn everyone you know!
My experience with AAA Today didn't start out well due to a new policy the company had put into place a couple weeks prior to my Plumbing problems. Fortunately, the customer service Rep. I was dealing with was a STELLLA DYNAMO named Shasta. My plumbing problems were in the Kitchen & bathroom. They sent out 2 different technicians, Manny & Henry. Manny was super fast & efficient. The bathroom plumbing issue turned out to be MORE complicated & a headache for the other plumber, Henry because the fixtures were very old & eroded. The porcelain sink crack & the pipes grooves stripped. Henry was very professional & reassuring. I worried about the cost & the fact the job was probably going to take a lot longer but the company paid for the sink & Henry, to my surprise, offered to come in on his day off to fix & finish job. Throughout this 2 day ordeal of plumbing issues, the customer service & office staff called & emailed often to check my customer satisfaction & the progress of plumbing problems being fixed. Best of all, I was still only charged the $99 for the bathroom , as advertised, even though the job took longer & ended up costing the company! Truly, I didn't expect this Impressive level of service, competence & professionalism. Other companies could take lessons from AAA Today on excellent customer service, fantastic professionalism & hiring superb competent people that really go the extra mile for the customer! I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE & DO BUSINESS WITH AAA TODAY AGAIN BASED ON MY RECENT EXPERIENCE! *** if you do choose use this review & call AAA Today, Ask for Shasta. ***Also should be noted I have NO affiliation with this company what so ever. Just a regular, skeptical customer that had a excellent experience.

I called AAA because they would quote me over the phone for a kitchen sink that was clogged. The service man was a little late but they called me serveral times to keep me informed. Once the guy got to my house, things got a little strange. He came in to assess the problem, went back to his truck for 20 minutes, came back with several bids. One was was the quoted $99.00 but the rest were crazy--like $2000.00 to blow air in my kitchen sink pipe. Of course I was nice and told him maybe at some point but today I need a useable sink. The bottom line was this guy would not leave--he was at my home over 35 minutes and still had done no work. i finally went upstairs and called the company. They had to call him to start the job! It was so uncomfortable. I have had workers in my house over the years and never have encountered any situation like this--I would never take a chance on this type of situaion again!
great customer service, to my place twice for electrical work. on time the first time but 2 hrs late the second
These folks ripped my mom off big time. To their credit they did come out and replaced a furnace on very short order but charged about 6K for a job that should have been between 2 or 3 thousand. While they were there doing the HVAC work they said that her electrical should be brought up to code and was showing signs of over heating. The estimate for that work was 9K. They had my 84 year old legally blind mom sign a proposal to proceed. I showed up while the work was going on and talked to the installer who said the pricing came off the company's unit rate sheet and he did not have any latitude. At the end their actual costs were less then 3 thousand dollars and despite my complaints they billed the entire 9 thousand dollars. They had less then two days worth of labor for one helper and an electrician and minimal materials. We have never posted a complaint like this but if this saves someone from making a similar mistake it will be worth it.
