Best Pipe Repair in Denver CO
Just had Piper upgrade our panel from 100 to 200 amps. The entire experience was excellent. They had a very competitive bid that wasn't bloated with double dipping -- charging twice for the same thing on two different line items, which we saw on other bids that came out much higher. The whole process was timely and professional and the workmanship was top notch. They were very familiar with City of Boulder regs and we passed inspection the first time around. The inspector even gave Piper thumbs up and told their electrician that their work looked great. We are already planning to have Piper back out when we replace our stove in a few months and we've recommended them to our friends.

Contractor arrived on time and did the work as expected. Did not run into any issues, and the work that was needed to be done was finished in a timely and efficient manner.

Five stars to Nicholas Moore. He will calculate your loads and give you a Manual JSD. He is super on top of your project and responsive to all of your questions that you may have on your project. Will call you and email you right away! Amazing
Lloyd Ladd, well that's a whole new story. He will drop you like a bad habit if you ruffle his little feathers. Don't ask him questions because he will only answer half of them and will keep you hanging when you are trying to order. Even if you're about to spend a upwards of $80,000 plus on new equipment and installation for your new dream house.

Not prepared for the project, didn't have the tools or parts and obviously wanted to charge hourly for running trips to home depot. Let the project in un-usable shape and worse off than had he not come. Do not recommend.

Retired elderly couple mystified by all things electrical was impressed by the prompt courteous and knowledge of Joel our electrician, he walked us thru every step with a normal and easily understandable description of the work to be performed. We are very happy with all aspects of the of this service We would highly recommend it.

I can't speak to the quality of their work because the woman who answered the phone was so rude I didn't hire them. She began arguing with me when I asked for information. I asked for a range of cost to disconnect and reconnect plumbing in my kitchen and 3 bathrooms. She told me they don't give free estimates. The dispatch fee is $119 and they provide an estimate when they did the work. I said I'd like an estimate ahead of time and would pay the dispatch fee to get one. Not possible. A reputable company wouldn't need to trap you into hiring them.

Feedback on furnace installation 11/12/21:
Gholam/Keith were cordial and polite but I do not believe the quality of the installation was up to par with my previous installation.
I asked Gholam several questions when he arrived but I am nor sure that he understood me and I couldn't fully understand him. It was not until Keith arrived an hour or so later that I could communicate with them. Keith later had to instruct Gholam how to take the readings and fill out the form to assure the furnace was working properly. (Doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the installation)
During the installation they accidentally knocked over a can of PVC adhesive and some got on the carpet in the immediate area of the furnace. They did not apologize but made a half hearted attempt to get the glue out of the carpet. After they left I worked for about an hour to remove the glue and got as much out as I could but the stain will always be there. Accidents happen and I understand but they should have apologized and let me know they did the best they could but could not remove the remainder of the glue.
Went to my office and found my work computers were down. I finally figured out that the guys had plugged in an oven to prepare lunch on my porch and it probably blew the breaker. Minor inconvenience once I found the tripped breaker but since their oven probably turned off in the middle of heating their lunch, they should have known they blew the breaker and made an attempt to turn it back on.
A guy appeared to drill hole for venting in my home but scratched his head and left as he was not needed (vent hole was already there). Electrician appeared but had nothing to do as electrical was all modified and checked at my last installation. He scratched his head also and left. Found out that I was charged $300 in my quote to have the electricians come out and do nothing. Poor communication by the installers!
Installation was on a Friday. Took a shower Saturday morning and water was not as hot as it usually is. Shower was ice cold on Sunday. Went to the basement and found the controls on both water heaters turned to pilot only and not turned on. They obviously shut down the water heaters and failed to relight them properly.
I tried to ask your guys some questions about the filter system that they were putting in but did not have my questions answered to my satisfaction. In fact I was given 3 different answers by 3 different people on what filter to use to give sufficient filtration without damaging the furnace system.
City inspector was out and told me that the clamp for a peetrap cleaning was placed so that it was inaccessible for clean-out but he would not write up a citation for it because the intent was there. I called Cooper several times to have this remedied but my calls were ignored until I contacted Costco about this. Finally got someone to come out and repair deficiencies almost one month later!

We had problem with humidifier leak. Save Home Heat technicians, Mitch and Ricky, came on the same day that we got the estimates to replace the old humidifier with an upgraded model. The installation was completed in two hours. They were professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. We're pleased with their service and had signed up for Save Home Heat's annual maintenance plan.

Needed a new sink and an overflow put in my kitchen so I went ahead and looked up faucet installation in my area. Went forth and picked this company and everything turned out perfect and I was very pleased with the professionalism and how smooth the process went. I've had pretty bad experiences and I will be recommending my girlfriends to this company for any kind of handyman interior & exterior projects! Thank you again so much J&D Home Services and Repair.

We simply asked for plumbline to come out and to a once over on our furnace. The gentleman came out but immediately tried to sell us one a brand new air conditioner which we never asked to have checked. The gentleman then proceeded to go into our basement and all he did was take pictures of our furnace and try and try to sell us on a brand new one. He showed us dust around some areas. When we told him we wanted that cleaned, he told us that it would be a up charge. All this guy did was waste our time. I really hope someone over at plumbline sees this review because this was absolutely ridiculous. We just wanted a simple once over. Not a sales pitch on unnecessary things.

Awesome service today! Fix It 24/7 responded to my request for A/C service in only three days, when several other companies were quoting 6 weeks! The service technician, Son V. was extremely professional, and contacted me several times with update on his estimated arrival time (no one can find our house!). He completed a thorough review of the problem and presented an estimate for the repairs. The repair was completed promptly and he verified that everything was working properly. He also trouble-shot another issue with my A/C and told me exactly what the problem was and the cost for repair. Another company said the problem was normal, which I knew was't correct. Son was able to confirm the problem and recommend a few options to pursue. He definitely had my best interests in mind with his recommendation. I would definitely recommend Fix-It 24/7 again!

The technician arrived 45 minutes after the scheduled window of 10 to noon. After they rescheduled the previous appointment because the entire Colorado team called out sick.
After the assessment of our cooling system he claimed it was incorrectly installed, faulty fan and furnace and some how new the entire home has poor air loss issues. He would gladly fix everything for $18,000.
Then man spoke to my wife after the over exaggerated explanation. using fear and industry jargen.
Worse of all 2 hours later I arrived home where the AC previously worked on the ground floor and basement but the 2nd floor WAS the issue we called this company.
To a home that was blowing Hot air and the entire AC unit no longer working. I immediately called the dispatch who stated they can't get someone out until the following morning.
I then called the tech via his number provided on the quote. After dispatch stated they would call him to call me back directly. He admitted they never called.
Saying that's weird. Giving no corrective suggestions or trouble shooting checks.
My opinion is Applewood sent this technician to break my entire Central air system in order to solidify a future client by desperation and Extort my family for $20,000 during A heatwave, covid world, unemployment.
You should All Understand the business model and don't fall for the mailer coupons, TV commercials and the aggressive advertising.
I truly hope the CEO and owner reads what his or her company has become in our most desperate times.

Ashton from AAA was fantastic! He performed a main line cleaning quickly, and inexpensively. If you need a good plumber, I highly suggest AAA!

I called Tipping Hat because I was afraid to trust the old furnace to make it through another winter. Kevin came to take a look. He found out that it was leaking and the motor was seized up and not turning on. He was kind and explained the problem to me so I could understand. He gave me very solid information about the different choices in a new furnace. He also told me about the program they have for payments that I can afford. I enjoyed visiting with him. Next day Tristan & another young man came and took out the old furnace and installed the new one. The whole process took about 3 hours. They were very careful about my house and the carpet. The furnace came on right away. Good thing, because the temperature was 60 outside. I called just in time! I will recommend Tipping Hat to my neighbors.

Do NOT use this this service. I had a leaky hot water heater, they came out and quoted me $4,000, saying I needed to replace the whole hot water heater and do a bunch of other work to bring things to code. There were no issues with the hot water heater other than the leak at the hot water hookup, so I refused to believe I needed to replace it. I had another plumber come out and look at it, he tightened the hookup and said it was fixed. He had to charge me $130 for the visit, but the work itself didn't even cost that much. He said there were no other issues with the unit and it could last me another 5-7 years. I am so glad I got a second opinion.
