Bob has been working on my home for several months. He has been great to have around, as he is often willing to help me with projects I can't quite do on my own. To date, Bob has fixed outlets, framed out a door, patched drywall, installed flat disc LED lights, moved cabinets, taken out built-in bookshelves, tightened banisters... the list goes on. His pricing is straight forward and Bob will communicate any delays or decisions points as they come up. Highly recommend booking him for your next project!

Retired elderly couple mystified by all things electrical was impressed by the prompt courteous and knowledge of Joel our electrician, he walked us thru every step with a normal and easily understandable description of the work to be performed. Justin showed up right on time and was so helpful explaining our issue. It was a small problem and he was honest about the fix needed. Justin made a temporary fix until the electrician could get out the next day The electrician was also prompt and fixed the issue quickly. Thanks for the honesty and the good conversation!

Fixxit (Vince Montoya) is an outstanding small business that specializes in home repairs and installations. I recently used Fixxit's services and do not have enough nice things to say about the ease of scheduling, as well as the professionalism Vince exhibited during the entire process.
I initially discussed having Vince come to my home and replace 2 builder grade bathroom fans. The job was not as easy as it sounds, as neither location had easy access and required the replacement of the entire fan assembly. Vince came to my home at the agreed upon hour and after a quick review of the work I requested, he got to work. The first fan did have a few issues (electrical) but Vince figured out how to correct that trouble and before I knew it, that fan was replaced (SO much quieter now!!!). Vince even had me check the noise and vibration levels in an upstairs bathroom to ensure additional insulation was not warranted to dampen the sound (it was not needed, but I greatly appreciated Vince thinking of it, as I had not). Vince then cleaned the area and moved to the 2nd fan in the basement. That fan swap was much quicker, as Vince applied what he had learned from the first fan and before I knew it, he was ready for me to test the fans.
Again - I cannot say enough nice things about Vince and the work he performed for me today. I will definitely be using Fixxit and Vince again in the near future and highly recommend him to others looking for an experienced, professional handyman to help with the projects you cannot do, or don't have the time to take care of.

We had problem with humidifier leak. Save Home Heat technicians, Mitch and Ricky, came on the same day that we got the estimates to replace the old humidifier with an upgraded model. The installation was completed in two hours. They were professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. We're pleased with their service and had signed up for Save Home Heat's annual maintenance plan.

Needed a new sink and an overflow put in my kitchen so I went ahead and looked up faucet installation in my area. Went forth and picked this company and everything turned out perfect and I was very pleased with the professionalism and how smooth the process went. I've had pretty bad experiences and I will be recommending my girlfriends to this company for any kind of handyman interior & exterior projects! Thank you again so much J&D Home Services and Repair.

Dehn is a true professional! I knew he was going to be good based on all the outstanding reviews on Yelp but he exceeded my expectations! He is a professional, prompt, trustworthy, and his craftsmanship is outstanding. No task is too big or too small. His estimate/ invoicing system and being able to pay him via Paypal is just top notch. Can't wait to use him again on other home improvement items.

I originally contacted Travis based on his reviews on Yelp. a source I have come to rely upon. I only had a small job I thought, replace a bathroom type ceiling exhaust fan that was in the laundry room of the house I had just recently bought. A malfunctioning exhaust fan is an odd problem to handle because electricians don't want to deal with duct work or anything they consider HVAC and HVAC people want to work on/replace furnaces or air conditioners not exhaust fans. Through Yelp I found and contacted Travis at Handyman Plus. He made an appointment and showed up right on time. The broken exhaust fan was not actually broken it turns out, nor was the switch which seemed to do nothing. It's a type of continuous running whole house exhaust fan unlike anything I had seen before. The wall switch which appeared like it might be broken wasn't it's just the way this fan operates. Travis got me all the information I needed to look up this fan and learn how to use it.
A few weeks later I had a medicine cabinet I wanted installed in our master bathroom. As the wall area to be opened also housed the electric line to an outlet I asked Tarvis to do the installation. Again this was a small job, not the scale of work sought by many people in an up economy. Travis made an appointment, texted me when he was on his way and did an excellent job installing my cabinet; without hitting the power line or electrocuting himself. I'm really pleased with the work but more pleased overall with Travis of Handyman Plus. He is professional, thorough, capable and resourceful. I would not hesitate to call him for much larger jobs.

I had a poor experience with Blue Sky Plumbing & Heating this last Spring. I have a rather old wall gas furnace that is under a Maintenance Agreement with Sears but this was the period where the temps were in the -teens digits. and everyone was busy. Sears gave me the go ahead to contact a local business to take care of the problem right away. The local businesses up here in the mountains were overloaded with work so I remembered seeing the Blue Sky trucks driving in the area and called them. They sent a young man out that afternoon. He was very personable and I immediately felt he was able to handle the problem. I told him what Sears had told me about them paying for the job up to a capped amt of money. He went to work examining the furnace and told me the dangers of a cracked heat exchanger, showed me a video on the computer of how a woman was in danger in her home with her grandchildren and was lucky to have discovered it quickly and that he had studied extensively on heat exchangers himself and could detect them easily. Again his easy way of explaining all of this was reassuring to me.
He finished his inspection and told me he had bad news and that I did have a cracked heat exchange and he would call Sears and speak with their expert and get the okay on the payment. Sears said No that they would examine it first. He went on to replace a faulty thermocouple that he found . He gave me his bill which coincidentally was exactly the amount Sears said they would pay to the penny. The heater was working so he left, i went downstairs to adjust the heat and smelled strong gas smell in the lower part of the house. I ran out to catch him as he was still in the drive. He came in with his gas detector and it didn't go off at all. He said it was most likely the gas residue in the house from him testing the unit. Leave the doors and windows open for a bit and clear out the house ( remember this is -15 degrees weather). He left. within 30 mins the house was still filled with gas, I had a headache. I got the dogs out of the house and called Xcel. They told me to leave the house, etc..safety rules. The man from Xcel showed up and as he entered the house his gas detector was screaming. All the way through the house it was going off. what he found was the NEW thermocouple was NOT tightened down on both ends and was leaking gas.. He told me although the gas was strong it was not life threatening for me in the amounts that were there. BUT the fact that this was not tightened down was a poor sloppy job.
I called Blue Sky the next morning, the manager returned my call, he only made excuses for the tech who came out. even with all that happened he was sure the tech was NOT the cause of the problem It ended up that he offered me a $100.00 credit on future work with them.
Sears techs came out the following week to check the cracked heat exchanger..there was NONE..it was fine. Had it been cracked it would have been $$$. The thermocouple was the problem which Blue Sky replaced.
I would not find reason to call upon this company ever. I felt this is just another milk it for all you can company. Remember Trust.....but verify

We loved them at the beginning of the process of purchasing and installing a new furnace and air conditioner. The technicians are great. The problem starts when the salesrep tells you the Excel and Costco rebates ($1400) are coming in 6 - 8 weeks. I'm thinking 6 - 8 weeks from installation but it's apparently 6 - 8 weeks after they get around to submitting paperwork. We're going on the 8th week after installation and I've been told they have just recently submitted necessary forms. So now we're looking at possibly four months after installation.
We didn't need the a/c until last week and when it started up, it sounded like something's banging inside. I called Monday for an appointment to have it check and took Friday off from work with an 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. window. Sat around waiting, at 11 got a call that my window was now 12 - 2 p.m. Since I figured this would be done by 1 p.m., I had made another appointment in Parker at 2 p.m. I told them I couldn't wait and cancelled. Well, I decided better and called back in five minutes and was told my appointment was now gone and they would try and fit me in sometime, no window. I told them I couldn't sit around all day waiting. Oh well, looks like it's back to Done Plumbing and Heating.

They are good about calling to let you know they're coming. The Tech came to do a main line clean out just before the window of time given. Unfortunately he didn't finish the job until the supervisor, Jeff, had to come to do the free video inspection sales pitch for a major job of installing outside access to the main line. Jeff said he would be to the house at a specific time but was 45 minutes late. I asked him to come back the same day and Jeff set a 9:00 a.m. appointment and never showed up or called. The office finally called at 9:25 which was 25 minutes into the one hour the video check would take.
Suffice it to say that an unfinished job combined with not being on time leaves a very bad impression of customer service.
I'm going back to AAA Services.

A/C unit went out on Thursday. Called late Thursday to schedule. Son came out on Friday, not only on time but ten minutes early. He was extremely professional explained what was wrong and what his thoughts were. Before any repairs were made he went through the potential issues and costs. Explained everything very extensively. The repair was made, the cost was very reasonable for the issue and we couldn't be more pleased with the repair or with Son's professionalism.

I never write reviews, but had the best service today, so I thought I'd share the email I sent to my customer service rep this afternoon:
Hi Sofia, I just want you and your management team to know that I am beyond impressed with your company and Ron in particular. You answered quickly this morning when I called and scheduled us for same day. This alone is a nice change from other companies we've worked with. But then Ron put it over the top. He called at every step to update us, he even let us know that he had run tests and that the clog seemed to have cleared on it's own, so he wasn't going to charge us! I asked him to snake the main line anyways because it's an annual maintenance we preform on this rental property. He did that (for an incredible price!) and then called to give us additional information. He was so prompt, knowledgeable, informative and honest!
We've used a few different plumbers for our main home and rental property over the years, but AAA Service has earned a longtime loyal customer today!

Our hot water heater broke and it really sucked. Kieth from Tipping Hat came out and explained the situation and gave us a few options. I really wanted the problem to be fixed as quickly as possible! Luckily, because his communication was attentive and he got all our questions answered quickly, we were able to make a decision and get the installation of the new water heater scheduled for the next day. They were careful to cover the stairs with plastic and keep everything clean. They were efficient installing the new 75 gallon tank in just a couple of hours and when they finished Kieth showed me the basic features on the new water heater. We had hot water about 2 hours after they left, then I went on a hot water binge doing laundry and dishes. I am happy to say that we won't have to worry about this happening again for 10 years because we got the service plan, which was very reasonable. Keith was very easy to work with and helpful and it will be nice to have someone who knows our house doing the maintenance going forward.

My grandson's hot water tank finally gave up the other night. Being an older home and not well maintained by previous owners there was no choice but to replace the old beat up thing. I went to Home Depot, found a tank, paid for it and Plumbline was calling to make an appointment even before I left the store. It was great. After Mike Quarry came to the house, looked at the mess, he told me what I should expect, etc. Changing a hot water tank isn't just that simple. Codes changed and I could see why some of the changes were needed. Either way I wanted everything up to code for 2023 and spanking new things. It couldn't be done that day so he came back the next day bright and early with Cameron. I had a problem with my bank but while I was out getting that straightened out Mike and Cameron were plugging away. They finished way early, got everything looking really nice and boy am I happy. The best of this transaction is I had gotten some summer crude so that I was so sick that Mike just guided me through what needed to be done and why and what the solution was. I was so happy with that. Since I live down the street from my grandson's I asked Mike if he would mind if I went home to sleep. He said I should probably do that. My grandson's who are 24 and 19 were home so they didn't need me. Mike and Cameron finished up early and called me. I'm telling you I was so happy but still sick. Mike was patient with me and explained as much as my mind could handle in a way that was not threatening, not condesending and truly was a help. I had to return the other tank but that was nothing compared to having a new working tank. And they cleaned up like a champ. They came to a mess but left it all cleaned up. I liked Mikes work so much I invited him back this coming Wednesday to repair something that needed to be replaced. And I have other stuff for him to do. Thanks Mike and thanks Cameron!!!
