Bob has been working on my home for several months. He has been great to have around, as he is often willing to help me with projects I can't quite do on my own. To date, Bob has fixed outlets, framed out a door, patched drywall, installed flat disc LED lights, moved cabinets, taken out built-in bookshelves, tightened banisters... the list goes on. His pricing is straight forward and Bob will communicate any delays or decisions points as they come up. Highly recommend booking him for your next project!

I had Derek F. At my house to perform an electrical repair. He was very upfront on the pricing and was able to diagnose the problem relatively quickly. He was very professional. Derek interacted with my son as he saw his guitar around and he asked to see and play it for him. I highly recommend this company and technician for any electrical problems. Thanks for the awesome service.

The Fixer, Nate, was very pleasant, resolved my issue, and I would gladly work with him again.
Jayme, who discussed billing with me, did not convey there was a 1-hour minimum charge until after the work was completed. This led to a surprise bill for a 15 minute visit that should have been a quarter of the cost. After expressing my concerns, he reduced the price by 50%, which is still a up-charge of 100% given the information he provided me and the services rendered. I would expect better customer service for a mistake he made, i.e. not conveying the 1-hour minimum before booking the appointment. I would not work with Jayme again.

UPDATE:
For context, below is the message that they claim conveys a required 1-hour minimum of service:
The clock starts once your Fixer arrives. The assessment usually takes 5 mins. within the first hour of service. Then your Fixer will advise how long it will take to complete this task. We charge $119/hr prorated to the minute after each hour of service.
The after each hour of service is what is vague and confusing. It should have said something like: there is a minimum one hour charge of $119; any additional time beyond 1 hour is billed at $119/hr, prorated to the minute.

Needed a new sink and an overflow put in my kitchen so I went ahead and looked up faucet installation in my area. Went forth and picked this company and everything turned out perfect and I was very pleased with the professionalism and how smooth the process went. I've had pretty bad experiences and I will be recommending my girlfriends to this company for any kind of handyman interior & exterior projects! Thank you again so much J&D Home Services and Repair.

Travis with Handyman Plus did a great job on our kitchen remodel. He is easy to work with and can do it all--demo, drywall, electrical, plumbing, carpentry. He was great with trouble-shooting and odds and ends, like relocating a heater vent in the floor, mounting a new range hood, etc. A big plus is that Travis is a trained electrician, so he was able to install recessed lighting and relocate electrical outlets safely and easily, and saved us a lot of money by not having to contract a separate electrician. He would have installed our cabinets and tile, too, if we hadn't already contracted for those jobs. I found he was most responsive to texts and phone calls, not so much by email. He worked with my schedule and that of other contractors. As a woman, I have had many negative experiences with condescending tradesmen who treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about, or even what I wanted. Travis was a breath of fresh air. He was respectful, listened to my ideas and concerns, talked through solutions, and was very positive about my vision for the space. Travis did great work at a reasonable price, and I'll be calling him for my future handyman needs.

I have used Blue Sky for years but when our AC went out a couple of weeks ago, they could not come out for 8 days. When they arrived, they asked for $59 service fee approval, which we gave. They went to look at the system and came back to ask for an additional $160 for a diagnostic fee. This fee would NOT apply to any repairs for a total before any work was done of $221.00. We approved and they then came back with an estimate. Compressor working fine (which we knew), but needed new metering device, new filter dryer, pump systems to EPA standards, and charging the system. Total of $2,941.00. We asked them to send estimate on email and they did with only codes and no idea what each code stood for. Checking with other AC firms, the metering device, filter and charging should be around $1,000 which means their labor was TRIPLE the cost of the parts.
I would never recommend Blue Sky again to anyone. They know when a homeowner is in need of immediate service and overcharge, as well as require diagnostic fees that they pocket. Be very aware of this scam!

Cesar was very professional and safe regarding Covid. He called in advance prior to arrival and sent a detailed text with his picture. The invoice process was easy and non-contact. I received a copy of my invoice by email before he left the home. I was pleased with the service, the scheduling process, and communication with the company from start to finish.

Horrible. Do not call. Set up an appointment and they cancelled. Set up another appointment. Someone called and said there's no need to come out. Person seemed arrogant and obtuse. Poor poor customer service.

My air conditioning croaked, so I looked online for yet another heating and air outfit (since I've never been real tickled about the service from others we've tried). Well, lots of AC's were croaking evidently (hotter'n hell this summer, huh?), and it took a couple of days before Brighton Plumbing was able to get to it. A real fine fellow named Brian showed up as scheduled, quickly diagnosed our problems, and quickly fixed our problems. He also took the time to show me how to keep my AC at its peak. Really, above and beyond.
The kicker for me was that the bill was way less than I expected for the work he did and the time he spent. As in Is that all? inexpensive.
Hey, what do ya know? I have me a plumbing and AC outfit for good now!

Ridiculously overpriced company on product and service. Don't let this company take advantage of you!

It was the electrical scare tactic. Your house will burn down. If there is nothing else from the $8,000 dollars we spent learning that it should have been 3,000 from a qualified electrician who came by, it's that we are paying it forward!!

Plumbline HVAC service was a scam. My wife called when our AC went out during the hottest day this week and I was away on travel. They mentioned it would be $49 for a service call. In reality it is $49 to show up, $149 for a diagnosis, and would have been $586 to replace a simple capacitor. Luckily my wife is smarter than that. When I returned, I bought the part next day on Amazon for $16 and replaced the capacitor within 10min. Don't let these folks prey on you or your elderly relatives. Honest work should cost honest prices; not whatever they can get you to pay when you are in a vulnerable position. I'm genuinely disappointed in the morality of this company.
