Hired the right company with a real passion for their job! Needed some work done on our electrical panel in the basement. Cleaned up some old wiring and fixed some switches that had been messed up for some time. Very honest and hard workers, didn't try to over charge or up sell me on useless repairs.Good service at a fair price. Can't ask for much better than that.

Had a bit of a hard time communicating over the phone, but got worked out in person. Be looking to get some quotes for future projects. Excited to work with this crew again.

Having moved into a new build (but production builder) home in McKinney about a year ago, we have used ABR Electric extensively for several different projects to add additional electrically-related capabilities to our home.  These projects have included adding household convenience outlets, ceiling fans, exterior lighting, an electric car charger, whole house surge protection and connecting a standby power generator with a manual switch arrangement to changing out too-dim overhead shower lights ... well, you get the point -- a lot of different projects, several of which required high-voltage entrance panel updates and modifications.  James and his team members are all friendly and easy to work with, do their job professionally and charge reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

These guys started off exceeding our expectations but fell considerably short the more drawn out it became. Note this review IS NOT on work performed but rather getting a technician out here to complete the job.

As I stated the initial communication (trip out and giving an estimate) was spot on. After that though I was put out of my own comfort zone in trying to get a response.

* we have a very short window on getting repairs as the house is under contract. Est. was given Monday and clearly on the proposal is written Job needs to be done this week.

* by Thursday night no follow up from phone calls, emails, texts etc. by these guys. I get home from business trip and call @7:30. I'm not on my best game (very weary and a little grumpy) but we agree there was a misunderstanding. No record though of our estimate in the system so I provide details. Im promised A tech will be out 10-noon tomorrow.

* noon today (Friday) a dispatcher calls me. Again no continuity and she wants to know when can we schedule a tech.  Another apology, but soonest we can get someone to our home is Monday PM. That isn't acceptable.

Part of their slogan is Fast, Reliable & On Time. I know life has bumps and hiccups but in this instance those aren't acceptable.

Conclusion: shop around. I used these guys because my goto guy (see my Yelp review) was on vacation when we needed the service and the Yelp reviews.  My goto Guy's vacation is over and he completed the work in half the time late on a Friday night. That proves you should get multiple quotes.

Had a neighbor install a dryer & hooked it up the cord wrong & Mr. Hill came out and checked the power & reinstalled it correctly.  Very nice man didn't have to wait and will call him again!

These guys did a great job running Cat-6 ethernet line from the port, up to the attic, and down the wall to a bedroom outlet.  Quick response time, good price, and they even organized the jumble of wires in the electronic closet leaving it better than before.  We would definitely use them again.

The biggest thing I appreciate about W3 is that it didn't snub its nose at my very small job (malfunctioning doorbell); four other electrical companies refused to make the trip because it wasn't a big enough job (not sure why that matters if a customer is willing to pay the service fee anyway to obtain peace of mind from a professional). Turns out our transformer blew and needed replacing, which affected other outlets as well...not so small after all. My technician Jordan was on time, efficient, and professional, even calling beforehand to give me a heads up on his ETA. He was knowledgeable about required services and W3's packages to better aid me in making informed decisions about our house/what to prioritize. As a result we signed up for a membersship and will turn to W3 for our electrical needs from now on.

Doug diagnosed our electrical issue quickly & rather than take the opportunity to charge us for unneeded repairs & replacements, he was honest about the root of the problem. Very happy we called him. We will be customers of his going forward. 5 star service.

Kevin was  AMAZING! Very professional and proficient. I was working from home while he was here and he was very quiet and non disruptive. Any mess he made he cleaned up and my home was as it was before he arrived. We had 2 other companies come out to try and fix our issues. We didn't have power to any outside outlets. Kevin discovered another GFCI in a second bathroom that we were unaware of. Other companies said we needed wire tracing. Kevin saved us time and money and for that we are so grateful.  Frisco Electric is our go to now!! Thank YOU.

Light It Up Electric is a top notch local family owned business. Todd spent more time than most to understand the job and provide a great solution. Red and Jesus did quality work that really impressed us. Reasonable prices and service that exceeded our expectations. I will use them next time without going out for bids and refer them to others.

I had USA Electric install new lighting for my house.  They did an excellent job for a very reasonable price.  The electrician was very professional and polite.  I would recommend USA Electric to my friends and family or anyone needing electrical work done.

Every once in a while, you find a contractor who truly is Great.  Great Brothers Electrical Services clearly earns their name.  I called for an estimate on a generator interlock being installed on my home.  Henry came to our home within 72 hours, surveyed the situation and gave me the estimate.  They scheduled the work promptly and showed up at 0830 when they said they would arrive.  What a nice and professional crew.   Henry was the lead and the three men with him formed an efficient and focused team.  Each man knew his job, and he did it.  They finished in 2 hours, cleaned up the job site, tested the interlock and were on their way.   They exuded confidence at every turn.  You just knew they knew their jobs and were dedicated to doing the job well.   They were able to install my interlock with no wires showing by placing the wire behind the brick which was considerably more work for them.  It would have been easier on them to place conduit on the brick, but they took the time to fish the wire through and give me a seamless installation.  Their prices were more than reasonable, and I will be calling them again for future electrical work.  I have great confidence in this company and highly recommend them for any electrical project.

We were in need of an electrician quickly. Kim was so helpful and professional over the phone. They were able to help us last minute, accommodate our schedule and help us repair an easy fix that we were stumped on for a very reasonable price. The guy that came out to help was knowledgeable and thorough. Will definitely be the first call we make when we need electrician again.

Charlie gave us the educated info we needed to decide on repairs for our 33 year-old mobile home. We're going to need more work but we know what we're looking at so we're very grateful to Charlie!

Very responsive business, great communication and a job well done. I talked to 5 electrician companies and this company was the best during the quote process. The job itself was not discounted but I think the price was fair and they did an excellent job-within the quote they gave me. Would use them again for sure.
