I like Mike.

Mike is a super-friendly guy with a good heart. Sometimes you can just tell when you are talking to an honest guy. My impression of Mike is that he is honest.

Mike is, of course, master electrician. With his visit today, he proved to be knowledgeable and highly competent.

Having multiple properties I like having competent contractors that are honest. Mike fits the bill. Mike will not be my go-to guy for everything electrical.

Thank you Mike. I can tell you have all these 5 star reviews for a reason.

Mike was great. He was quick to respond on Yelp and gave me a good quote. He came on time and finished the job in a timely manner. We had him bypass the ballast for all our tube lights. He also provided the led bulbs.

Michael responded quickly for my request for a quote and communicated effectively on what I needed to do to prep the area he would be working in prior to his arrival. He arrived when promised and was professional, friendly and protective of my house (outer booties, drop cloths, etc.), went right to work and finished quickly. His price quote was honored - no extras added and there was no attempt to upsell, as I've experienced before with other home servicers. Great guy, great service and very reasonable price. Mike helped my parent's multiple electrical projects from ceiling fans, vanity & ceiling lights, exterior motion light & lanterns, and recessed lightings, etc. He is also knowledgeable with car charging station, which we will come to him to install in the near future. He is punctual and does what he says. He knows his craft inside out, and is absolutely fair with his pricing. Mike is not only the expert in his field but an all-around great person. Amazing service at a great valued price! We just used Mike again after he wired my sauna, and installed LED lighting in front oak trees. He's solid!

This morning he came out due to a few different electrical issues and after a couple of hours, we had new LED lighting fixtures, new timers, fixed pool light GFI issue, repaired attic wiring, and at an invoice much less than expected.

I almost feel like we need to see what else we can have them do since they're so reasonable and electrical work is no my bag!

What's not to like? Great service, nice people, and wonderful work at a fantastic value!

I have never felt so disrespected in a phone call where I was trying to obtain services from a business. The gentleman who answered my call cannot be the owner of the company as he claimed because if this was his business, he wouldn't have been so rude about answering my questions. I called them to get a quote and timeline for their services and when the phone was answered he made me feel as if I was wasting his precious time. Just the tone of his answer pretty much screamed what do you want? I was shocked but figured we all have bad days but c'mon! I'm a potential customer who's calling to pay you for your services. It's not as if you're giving me free services! Even if you were to give free services, this isn't how you talk to a lady! I will take my business elsewhere where I am not insulted for asking questions. Just unbelievable and still shocked!

Called Mike to see if he wants to place a bid on a project. Here's how the conversation went:

Mike: MD Electrical.
Me: Hi How are you?
Mike: Very busy!
Me: well, I got a project and wanted to get a quote
Mike: Click hangs up!

Ok so maybe the line got disconnected. I sent a text asking if he hung up or if the line got disconnected (giving him the benefit of the doubt).

2 minutes later he calls back and says is this a residential or commercial project and I tell him it's a commercial project.

His response was (and it's word for word) I don't do commercial projects, go F**k yourself!

Yes it sounds unbelievable, not sure what kind of stress he's under to treat a potential customer like this. Forget a potential customer, who treats anyone as such? I'm still baffled. I still can't believe this interaction.
Okay Mike, business must be great for you and no one has thought you manners or decency. You should be ashamed of yourself. A simple we don't do commercial projects would have been sufficient but unfortunately being a miserable human being preventing you from saying so.

Freaking awesome. I called and Mark came out the same day. He repaired all the outlets and charged a very reasonable fee. I couldn't believe his hard work and honesty. Most contractors are shady but not this one. Highly satisfied.

We contacted Mike to get an estimate for our kitchen remodel and while he was here we asked him to look at our landscape lighting that did not work. He did and gave us a quote to replace and upgrade our lighting. They look fantastic. He was very helpful during the consultation and his price was great. He was prompt and even finished early which was reflected in the final bill. I will absolutely use them again as they will be doing the electrical work for our kitchen remodel later this month. Mike provided that personal and professional service that is sadly not found as much these days.

Mike receives a tremendous amount of requests daily. Somehow he manages to work through them all. Returning calls during and while eating lunch, texting while directing his crew--- he just gets things done.

Michael at MD Electric is trustworthy, professional and one of the nicest people I have ever met. Give him a call and you'll see for yourself how kind, fair and handy he is. Michael replaced our kitchen light and shortly after we hired him to replace a 40 yr old electrical panel. Both very different jobs were completed on time, under budget, and correctly. He takes pride in his work and will not cut corners as you will sometimes find with other trades. I would refer anyone looking for electrical work to Michael time and time again.

This is the gold standard of customer service.
I've used this company twice - once to repair a dead outlet, and a second time to replace an electrical panel.
Michael Hill is extremely knowledgeable, and does what he says he will do, when he says he will do it, and at a very fair price. He returns phone calls. He is very courteous, professional, and very much appreciates the business you give him.

We called Mike, and he said he could stop by on his way back from another job. We had multiple issues .and he quickly did troubleshooting and repaired all issues. Didn't charge $10 for $1 switches like a lot of contractors do, and a VERY fair price for his trip charge.
Additionally, his knowledge of not just hardware but electrical infrastructure was amazing.
Mike is now our go-to for any future electrical work.

Mike is a true professional of his trade. He arrived on time and walked us through the work that was going to be performed. After the quote, we setup when to have the work done and this project took two days to complete. Once the job was complete, we walked through the progress and we were super satisfied. Mike then gave us the bill which was more than fair. We highly recommend Mike and his services.

I really love getting amazing service from local businesses vs the big guys. Called these guys up on a Wednesday and they scheduled for a Saturday service. They showed up on time. Excellent. Just moved into an older house with quirks. Had Mike install some sconces, replace a ceiling fan, change out some switches, and fix some issues with a GFCI outlet. He was super nice, quick, reasonably priced, professional, and did a great job. Will be calling him again for sure!

I had Mike come out and install additional outlets in my garage. His quote was reasonable and the work was scheduled promptly. Had a bit of free time when he arrived for the work, so sat in the garage chatting with him. He takes great pride in getting everything just perfect. When you see someone passionate about little details, you know it's great work. Moreover, Mike actually charged me less than the quoted price, because he took a little less time to finish up than expected. Professional work, amazing attitude. Contacted Michael and set an appointment to come out to my house to help with a breaker that kept tripping, install a 220 outlet in my garage for my EVSE (to charge my electric car). He showed up on time ( a few moment early in fact), gave me quick walk around to review the issues I had and what I wanted done and provided me a quote for a very fair price. I said great when can you start he said right now and proceeded to get all of it done within a few hours, showed me a few things in the panel that he saw that he suggested changing (and he did) and still came in below his initial quote. I called M.D. because of the Yelp reviews and they are 100% correct.
Honest - fair - friendly - and do the job right the first time.

Seriously some of the best service! My husband and I recently moved into our new home and knew from the inspection report that we had a few electrical issues. We decided to call Mike based on Yelp reviews and the reviews did not disappoint. First of all, Mike gave me a quote before hand and reassured me that it would be the max. Very reasonable still. Him and his crew came over despite the potential for a storm and were finished in about or under an hour. Since he finished early and said a lot of it was easy repairs, he cut the price significantly, which I thought was very nice of him! On top of that, one of the techs found a dead rat in my roof (*gag*) and did me a solid and removed it for me!! (Thank you again x 1000!!) Overall very knowledgeable electricians, very fair prices, and extremely professional! I will definitely be calling again if anything happens but based on the quality of their work, I highly doubt I will have to.

Michael was able to meet in my house at a time convenient for me to give a quote days within my initial contact with him. He provided me a recommendation for a safe solution based on my poor requirements and my even worse understanding of how electricity works.

Week later he and his teammate came promptly at 8:30 AM and knocked off the job before they left to lunch.

They were professional, provided safe and nice looking solution and charged more than a reasonable amount.

Michael is doing a great job, I am glad that I listened to other yelp reviewers!

Michael is now our electrician for life. He is extremely kind and accommodating, and his prices are beyond fair. We needed to power a new kitchen island, which is a beast of a project considering there are a lot of codes to adhere to and you have to go through concrete. He came by multiple times over the span of a just few weeks (we had to coordinate with a lot of different people to wrap our kitchen reno up, otherwise he would've been able to knock this out in a day) to get the job done, and everything is so incredibly clean, professional, and functional. I can barely see where he had to cut any drywall, and this was a project that most electricians would really have to open much of the wall for. We passed our permit inspection with no issues whatsoever. When he added a pendant light over my new island, his co-worker took the time to text me a how-to video on attaching the globes since I needed to get lightbulbs and wanted to finish that part myself! Michael is truly an angel and I'd be honored to hire him for another job any time. Above and beyond is the correct phrase. You won't regret giving his company a call.

Mike came out on a Saturday with short notice to look at a room with no power. Spent time tracing the issue and found/resolved the issue to a single plug wire. His work was so good asked him to replace some GFI plugs and he also replaced a breaker. Spend a few hours and charged a great price. I will be using him again. Awesome work.

I've hired a number of electricians in the past-- and I have never met a guy more honest, reasonable and passionate. I had a number of problems with an investment property we recently bought and Mike explained thoroughly what he had planned to do and was extremely reasonable. I also had to install a GFCI outlet and Mike walked me through the whole process and even offered to give me free guidance. I took him up on the offer and he was very quick to respond!
