Only merit with Allstars was that they were quick and punctual in responding to same day request for repair. Had called Allstars last Saturday for a AC unit that was running, but not able to effectively cool down the house. Alex, the technician that responded to the call, arrived within 2 hours. After being on site, he spent ~20 minutes for problem troubleshooting. His take was that the unit had faulty coil and that both the coil and condenser needed be replaced for $11,000! He urged the problem would cause imminent and complete breakdown of HVAC if not addressed right away. Since it was a substantial amount, my husband asked Alex to kindly breakdown the cost for us (i.e cost of parts and labor). He replied he would need to go the office to look up exact quote and will touch base with us before the next day. **We never heard back from him**
Decided to go with a second opinion from another contractor- ended up the coil just need to be cleaned and Freon topped- for less than $200. the house cooled down the pressure reading from manifold normalized right away from the repair. Allstars was good for immediate technician dispatch, but they missed a diagnosis and I can't but feel my family would have been misled to pay a huge chunk of our hard earned cash if we hadn't gotten a second opinion.

My AC stopped cooling and Glenn and his son diagnosed the problem and had their wonderful employee William repair the set line.  I made the mistake of calling another company -with a quote of $29,000.  Allstars is by far the best AC company out there.  Glenn is wonderful and professional.  Please beware of other companies out there right now that are taking complete advantage of people.  This is the company to call

Glenn and his team are great; they're a small family owned business who came by same day for a diagnostic check of my AC unit which was giving me problems.  They're kind, helpful, and fast. I highly recommend.

Glenn was a great problem solver and was patient as I asked A LOT of questions. We will definitely be using Glenn and the company again if needed.

We recently installed a ring video device and smelled a burning plastic coming from our internal doorbell chime. Without knowing what the issue was he walked through what it could be and began problem solving. He checked our transmitter, the internal doorbell, and our Ring. He patiently waited as I called Ring's customer service to check in on something and he actually talked with Ring for me!

He wore a mask and was respectful of our space.

When I connected with Glenn via Yelp! I received a quick response to my initial and my follow up questions.

He's great! Use his services!

BUYERS BEWARE. I dispatched them out to my restaurant and they spent about one and a half hours. Total bill: $2,000.00. I was curious about what someone else would've charged and it was no more than $500.00. Look out!!!

He initially wanted $2,200.00 but gave us a discount. Is this real life? I relied on yelp for this service and I 100 percent regret it. This is the epitome of thinking oh they got money!

Let me tell you something, this company took total advantage of myself and my business. Disappointing as the person on the phone was very friendly and prompt.

I contacted Glenn during the 2021 winter storm and he helped me trouble shoot an issue we were having with power returning to only half my parent's house.  He was very helpful during this hectic time.

The crew showed up on time and quickly identified the problem with our electrical system. We elected to do additional work to re-engineer our wiring to prevent a future recurrence and address some issues that  were a function of the home's age and changing electrical loads and safety standards. At all times the master electrician was collaborative and clearly laid out his recommendations. We were very satisfied with their work and would recommend them to anyone with a tricky electrical problem.

Glenn saved the day for us. Our A/C stopped blowing cold air during the day and we weren't able to call someone to help until the evening. I called and he was so friendly and helpful.

Once he got to our house under 2 hours later & he was both professional and honest. He told us what we needed and also what we could add on to ensure our system would last many more years.

We liked that he never pressured us and explained/showed us everything he was doing.

I would have given five stars except his parts prices were way higher than if I were to just buy it from Home Depot.

It's the disadvantage as a consumer of being in an emergency situation and needing someone to fix something ASAP...you pay for it.

We had them out yesterday, very much appreciative of speed they came out and by the end of the day we had a working ac unit that wasn't exactly cooling well...but at least it was doing ok. I was able to make the appointment within the week and they came out on a Saturday to help us.
Was called the day before because they had shredded the address. Not a big deal to give it to them again just worth noting. Was quoted $90 on the phone for the service call. When they called before arriving they said it would be $125...I told them I was hired $90 and he said he would honor that. They were kind and considerate and got straight to work. It was a terribly hot day (102*) and we had no ac which made the day even worse. Told us we needed a new unit but could get away with replacing a blower. Had to go to two stores to find the fan and pay $150 for them to open the store on a Saturday. Fine, understood. They got back and replaced the fan, nit picking the entire time back and forth between each-other. I didn't know they were a father and son team but now it makes sense. But, it wasn't what I would call a professional approach to working in someone's home. But, it was hot and terrible and they were up in the attic doing the work out so whatever I think I would be nitpicking as well.
So let's get to why I'm giving a low rating. They couldn't get the Ac to cool as they hoped after replacing the blower. They said they were going to go CHECK the Freon. When my fiancé came home he went to go check they were adding it without coming in to discuss the extra cost. They just did it. My fiancé walked in on the son moving one of the tenants CD player from one room to the other. Dude, don't touch other people's stuff- ever ever ever. I don't believe he was taking it I think he was just curious about it and taking a look. But just don't ever pick up anything in anyone's house ever.
We were quoted $1500 for the repair $90 for the call $150 for the store to be opened up and the non-itemized bill came to $2100 - $350 worth of freon we weren't consulted about. I'm very appreciative of them coming out and fixing the unit within a few days of my initial call, I'm appreciative of them seeking out a part within a day, I believe they should do a better job communicating before filling up freon and the costs associated with it.
All in all we had a broken ac in the morning and a somewhat working ac at night so that's amazing. I just really wish they would have talked the freon over with us. If I were to have them out again I would just make sure to get a firm understanding of communicating extra costs. Very appreciative of them fixing the ac within a day - that's an amazing accomplishment.

Just got off the phone with Glenn. He took the time out of his day to sit and explain to me (first-time home buyer, complete novice) the few options I had to deal with the wiring problem I'm facing (updating aluminum wiring) and gave me multiple ballpark estimates for each of the options. Very knowledgeable, and very useful. Highly recommend!

These guys were responsive and punctual in responding to a mini-split air conditioner that was leaking. Their take was that the unit was shot and needed to be replaced for almost $10,000. It's a big expense, so I got a second opinion. The second guy looked at it, and within five minutes said all I needed to do was clean out the drain line, which took 15 minutes and cost $95. The unit has been humming happily ever since. Allstars was fine both in person and on the phone, but they missed a diagnosis and that could have cost us big time if I hadn't gotten a second opinion.

Glen answered his phone in the middle of the night offering to come at a moments notice... He came down and fixed our ac personally ... Never pressured us on anything and had it running quickly and saved us a few bucks in the process...

We had an air-conditioning and electrical project that we needed help on. We knew kind of what we wanted but had no idea how to make it work. Upon calling Allstars, they were not only willing to help but Glen even went so far as to give us alternatives and different approaches to take to get our project done. All said and done, before the work even began he spent a tremendous amount of time talking over all the options with me to make sure this was the right approach to take.

I have never, in over a decade, dealt with someone as knowledgeable and willing to help as Glen and his team. When an issue arose in the middle of the project, the team was quick to notify me of the issue and prompt in their response. They were able to complete the job in record timing and left the site even cleaner than when they got there. I cannot stress enough how well mannered and courteous Glen and his team were.

I highly recommend their services and am still amazed at the speed, efficiency, and accuracy of their work.

We had a very positive experience with Allstars. We requested a quote via Yelp, and Glenn responded promptly with his contact information. After we got in contact, he very thoroughly and honestly gave some great, practical information about our specific HVAC needs and helped us understand the lingo involved in HVAC installation. I got home from work on a Friday afternoon and our A.C. was not working, it was already 86 degrees in the house.  I called for emergency service.  The two gentlemen that came out were awesome.  By the time they got out the air seemed to be kicking back on.  They didn't need to do anything but did answer a ton of questions that we had.  I assumed we would still pay the emergency visit fee ($95) but they didn't charge us anything.

If we have any more issues I will definitely use Allstars!!!

Great job, super nice and knowledgeable guy!  I requested services in the morning and before 1pm, everything was done!  I will definitely use this company for all my AC/heating needs. I would like to post a review of your service.  As far as I'm concerned you suck.

I cannot believe that you charged us $249.99 to clean our condenser coil.  Your technicians didn't do anymore that what my husband and I have done before.

They didn't have any tools when they arrived at our house, had to use our hose.  Didn't have temperature gauges or a Freon gauge.  Hell they did even check the Freon level when they were there.  If this is quality service from your company, I know I won't be calling you ever again.  I will also post this to the BBB and on Yelp so other people won't get fleeced.  Fool me once, shame on me.

What a scam that you all are running. I hope you can sleep at night.

It is Memorial weekend and I had a tree land on my fence and it tore all the electrical wires from my house on Friday afternoon. I was very fortunate to get emergency help from Glen the master electrician at 11:00 pm on Friday and onto the next day. He had to update to code my electrical unit. His team is professional and his service is incredible! I would strongly recommend him to anyone!

We are extremely happy with the service we received from Allstars in March 2014.  Glenn, the owner is very knowledgeable, friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.  His expertise as a Master Electrician is very evident in the quality of his work; as well as in his knowledge.  I felt very comfortable and confident that he and his staff knew what they were doing.  They installed a Trane Air Handler; as well as a Trane Heat Pump.  They were there when they said they would be and worked tirelessly until installation was complete.  They also did some rewiring and upgraded our Breaker box, etc.  Again, his level of expertise set my mind at ease that he was more than qualified to do the job.  Everything looks and operates beautifully....we could not be happier.  

I would highly recommend Allstars and Glenn for any Electrical work; as well as any AC/Heating repair, maintenance or installation.  He genuinely seems to care and is very conscientious about his work.  His prices are competitive and his work is guaranteed.  We are happy customers!  Thank you, Glenn and your staff for a job well done!

Thank you to the receptionist for being professional and understanding when I called in a panic. Glenn and mike came out about an hour after I called and was able to help me by showing me what was causing the electrical problems I was having and also giving me options and prices. I wanted them to just fix it as quick as possible and didn't want It to cost a fortune(temporary fix) but they informed me of the different possibilities that could happen if it wasn't fixed the right way so I was willing to spend what I needed to to get it fixed right and I'm glad I did. They were very sweet men and knowledgeable and I will be using their services next time and telling my friends and family to as well. Thank you allstars for making my day better!

Called to request someone to come take a look at two sub-panels in a home I have under contract. Receptionist, Edith, gave me several appointment times to choose from and stated the service fee for such a visit would be $69. That seemed reasonable enough and I selected my preferred appt time. Come time of the appt, I get a call from the service tech, get a whole bunch of questions more related to the demographics of the house than the job, then get told that there was a misunderstanding. What I was asking for was an inspection of the home's electrical system and it would cost a flat $400 just to look. I've had many other homes inspected prior to purchase and this is the most outrageous price gouging I've encountered yet. Most will provide free estimates, but I am not opposed to paying a reasonable service fee to get a good understanding of what is needed. Allstars not only wasted my time, but the time of the seller. Now I've lost a day or two in my option period due to what I perceive to be a bait and switch.

I had problems with multiple circuit breakers in the house.  Called and talked to Glenn Mitroff at Allstars.  He was able to come out later that day to assess the problem.  He had to replace the circuit breaker panel.  Because I had done my homework I knew  the price he quoted was fair.  He and his two assistants were professional, courteous, quick and left the work area cleaner than when they started.  I completely recommend them and will use them again.

Came out and within 5 minutes told me that I could pay $4500 to repair or $6500 to replace my A/C. I was skeptical of his diagnosis so I got a second opinion from The On Time Experts. They correctly diagnosed the problem and repaired it for $250 in under 2 hours.  Glen tried to scam me and got caught.  I would advise you to look elsewhere for A/C repairs.

Having no light in part of my home following heavy equipment use by plumbers. Allstars' expert electrician responded the evening of my call. My lights were shining that evening.  Glenn returned with assistant, Caleb, in the morning, and within 5 hours had upgraded the fuse box, plugs for kitchen, bathrooms, and outdoors, where the problem originated. I've been assured of the safety of the wiring, and Glen's confidence instantly assured me of his knowledge and competence. The men demonstrated respect for me, and toward one another.

Owner (Glenn) is either just very rude or has no people skills what so ever. We were looking to get a good reliable HVAC in the metro area to do work for us on a regular basis and happened to find Allstars. We looked them up to see all reviews and decided on the Yelp and BBB reviews to use them. This was a huge mistake, not only were we OVER charged for the small lead pipe to be reattached in the attic. The owner called for payment and was very rude over the phone. When asking for the estimate for repairs he told me that he was not going to send it to me, that he was calling for payment. Every question I asked the owner he was more rude with each. I paid the bill without seeing it since he was being so tacky. Not a very nice person to deal with. Will not be calling this company for anything ever again. Owner needs to brush up on his etiquette and check his personality if he wants to keep customers coming back.

These people charge $90 just to come out and give you a quote for their work. And if they do the work they apply that as a credit. If you don't go with their quote for whatever reason, you are out the fee.

We used Allstars recently and were so happy with them that I felt compelled to write a review. We noticed on the night before we were supposed to leave for Europe for a few weeks that our air conditioning had gone out. Around 7pm that night I started calling AC service companies hoping that one would call me back in the morning. Not long after, but well after most people's normal work hours, I got a call from Glenn, the owner, who said he would be there first thing in the morning. I was really impressed by his responsiveness and sense of urgency given our situation. They came over first thing in the morning, diagnosed the issue quickly. Glenn is a master electrician and did all the work himself, sweating it out in the heat of the attic in the middle of a Texas summer. The motor in the unit in the attic had blown out. Typically I'd expect this to take quite some time to order the parts and get them installed. He escalated the situation and not only got the parts but also got it installed before we had to leave for the airport at 1. I was amazed. I figured there was a zero percent chance it would be fixed before we left.

I would highly recommend Allstars to anyone. Don't let the lack of reviews on yelp deter you.

I recently closed on a 1930 Tudor home and during the end of a small remodel, realized the house was full of knob and tube wiring- not only was it not safe, but I couldn't get fixtures to work and random outlets were becoming inoperable. It was the week before Christmas, with family coming in, and I could not even get an electrician to come out to bid the job ! But then I called Allstars- Glenn came out that afternoon, quickly diagnosed the issue, made a plan, bid the job, and had a crew of five at the house before the holiday! Lead by Simon- the crew worked diligently for 3 full days bringing my house up to code- I have lights and fans and outlets that work! The crew was so polite and professional- they cleaned up at the end of each day- and Glenn was there everyday to check on the progress, bring new supplies, and assist. I would highly recommend Allstars to anyone- truly a professional organization!
