Best Post Light Installation in Chicago IL

This was my second time hiring Blacklite Electric and it was a pleasure working with both Neville and Johnny!

Neville was communicative from the start. We were able to find a time very shortly after I reached out.

Johnny did a great job fixing the super old wiring in my home and replacing 4 light fixtures. Johnny was very respectful of COVID restrictions, wearing a mask the whole time. Payment was easy over Venmo.

I will call Blacklite again next time I need electrical work done!

Victor came out and provided a reasonable estimate. A few days later he came back to install an outdoor 14-50 outlet for me so I could charge my EV. The work looked great and so far I've had no issues. Would use victor again in the future for other electrical needs.

I received quotes from other electricians, but none came close to the service and knowledge that Frank provided. I desperately needed recessed lighting installed in my home.

Frank provided his availability and some things to consider over the phone. After coming by my house and scoping out the work, he provided even more info on what to expect and how it was gonna go. He sent over an official estimate, and we made it happen.

Frank's team was kind, considerate, and ensured everything was according to spec. They cleaned up after themselves, and tried to be as unobtrusive as possible. I'm so glad that I found an electrician that I could trust, afford, and know would do things the right way.

Lucas and Maggie were great to work with.  I have done 2 remodels with different permits, LMV was the only contractor out of all the ones I have worked with who made sure that I was on top of my deadlines.  They helped with the permit process, as well as had recommendations on other issues I should address even though it was not in their scope.  BEST OF ALL I PASSED MY INSPECTIONS ON THE FIRST TRY!!! The only Contractor to pass rough and final's on the first attempt.  Highly recommended and I will be using them again!  Thanks guys!

If I could give them 10 stars I would.  Polite.  Timely.  Professional.  Considerate.  Had an exterior outlet installed and am very happy with the outcome.  HIGHLY recommend.  Scott Nelson and his employees are rarities in the world of tradesmen.

I had a terrific experience with this company. I left a message and received a call back in less than 24 hours. I was able to schedule a convenient appointment. The serviceman showed up on time and offered a reasonable quote for the service. He was able to get the job down in a timely fashion which was very helpful due to travel plans. This company is professional, the work is of great quality and I'm already making plans to call them again for more work that I need completed.

I reviewed Perfected Electric Services over a year ago. I called on them again a few weeks ago in August. Still a 5 star good value operation. Having some remodeling done in the bathroom so I got an estimate from the electrician recommended by the company doing most of the bathroom work. Perfected Electric Service installed our lighted mirror, bathroom fan and updated other lighting as we requested for nearly half the  price quoted by the electrician they recommended. Difficult install for the fan but once again creative problem solving by PES got it done without having to open up the ceiling.

My wife and I have been talking about getting an EV car for the last few years when it came time to replace her car. As a result, I wanted to ensure we have a safe place to charge it. Therefore, we needed a Level 2 charger. I talked to some EV owners, and they all recommended a NEMA 14-50, 50 amp outlet installed in the garage.

Here comes Shock Tech 2. I used Yelp to ask him about a quote. He responded very quickly and asked for some information about the house. We talked about the location of the house, and he was able to give a quote based on the house and some pictures I sent regarding the panel, the path to the location, and the location itself. I liked this approach since I contacted other companies who, either, didn't respond or claimed they had no openings soon for a quote. I also liked how Shock Tech 2 kept in constant contact such as letting me know he is on the way. I've had companies in the past now show up at all after I took the time to take time off of work. From the start to finish, Jaime/Shock Tech was courteous, and professional.

On the day of installation, he was very professional. Got some cloth to protect the floor. He asked if our pets were allowed in the basement or not so he was kind to close the basement door behind him. There was no mess and he ensured everything was clean afterward. Not to mention, he found an issue with my electrical panel which he fixed too.

In the end, the quote was exactly what he asked. Compared to others, his quote was within the average price, but the quality was second to none. I had some quotes to add a bunch of, possibly, unnecessary wiring. His installation was simple and straight to the point. Also, he installed a breaker/emergency off switch next to the outlet, which was not mentioned in the other quotes. Therefore, his quote was actually more reasonable than others. My wife and I have other electrical plans for the house, and Shock Tech 2 will be getting all my business and recommendations to family/friends.

I highly recommend CM Electric! They came and told me what the plan for helping me with my problems, gave me a price and a time and did the job, no problems, and everyone was great.

Steve replaced four outdoor light fixtures and installed a GFI outlet in the kitchen. Great communication setting up the appointment, electrician was exactly on time. He explained the work clearly and completed it quickly while making sure we were satisfied and everything worked properly. Excellent experience, highly recommend!

Tim was awesome. He came and installed my smart switches. Very professional. And answered all my questions. I will definitely be reaching out to Tim in the near future for all my Electrical projects.

B.U.E installed can lighting and ceiling fans at my new home. They provided outstanding customer service. Very attentive and communication was great. They went above and beyond to make sure my family was satisfied. They cleaned up the area after they left and neatly stacked the trash in my garage ready for my next trash pickup day. Will definitely be using them again for upcoming home projects. Pricing was great too!  Mohammed and his team are superb professionals and excellent at what they do.

Sam came to my home to add a 220 line for a hot tub I had installed.  the work was impeccable and he took the time to explain things, did my special requests, and even came back to hook up the hot tub after they delivered it as part of my job. he is very reasonable and quick to respond.

I would not recommend this company. When they replaced the breaker box they had to remove wood paneling on the wall, which was fine - they put it back. But in doing the work they damaged the tiles at the bottom, and then refused to take responsibility. They said they were broken before they began work and wouldn't fix it. We have proof they were not broken as our house had detailed photos and videos taken right before that to be put on the market.
The only positive is that they were the only electricians able to get the work done quickly. But I still wouldn't hire them again.

They probably nice people having a bad day, but I called just to get some info and got hung up on twice. The first time I was hung up on soon as I finished my question. Then I thought the phone might have just messed up, no biggie. I call back get immediately put on hold and 90 seconds in it picks up and I get hung up on again. Not trying to be a bother, just was interested in your services and prices.
