I am in the process of selling my condo and suddenly needed a fast adjustment on my circuit breakers, and Darrell knocked that out real quick and easy for me. And i will say, I shop around on prices being offered and Sims and Sons was clearly a contender in that field! Highly recommended!

This company was so prompt and efficient with their work.  Marianne truly delivers exceptional customer service in the office. Her friendliness is a breath of fresh air when it comes to getting work done. They are very knowledgeable about pulling permits in the city and making sure work is up to code.  My only regret is we didn't know about them sooner! Fantastic local company!

Ted is seriously the best. He is super reliable, really professional and smart. I have had him do a few things in my home. Everything is done correctly, on time, and exactly how he said it would be. My husband who doesn't like hiring people to do work in the house thinks that Ted is worth every cent. I actually decided to write this review because I was looking for his number to do some additional work in our kitchen and came across his name on Yelp.

Last month Joe replaced our old fuse panel with a new 30 circuit 100 amp panel, including new service line and placement outside.  He responded very quickly to our request for a review of the job site and provided a very reasonable quote for the job.

The work was completed as described and on time - he even threw in an extra GFCI socket to boot!  The village inspector complimented the work and gave us an immediate approval.  

Joe is great to work with and I will definitely call him again if/when I need any electrical work done in the future.  I highly recommend Joe.

Chris is very responsive, honest and good at what he does. He is the person to call for quick and easy fixes - he says he specializes in service calls (installing light fixtures, troubleshooting things around your house). Definitely give him a call, he'll take care of your project quickly and professionally.

Installed 2 outdoor outlet boxes on rooftop deck. Excellent work. Clean and paid attention to the details. Highly recommend.

We have an old house that wasn't designed for today's electric needs. Ryan came by and gave excellent, super thorough explanations of everything going on, what would work and what would not, and was conscious of our total cost. 10/10 would recommend.

I needed help installing 3 washer/dryer outlets. Boz and his team arrived on time, worked very fast (finished the work in half a day), and made sure to patch up most of the holes they made and clean up after themselves. I was very impressed by the work they did and definitely recommend them.

He priced the job very competitively, scheduled it for later that day, arrived a few minutes early.

He unpacked and installed the fixture correctly, carefully, and even requested my confirmation of approval (placement, pendant light height, etc.) at each step.

He worked cleanly, fast, was 100% competent, and very friendly the whole time.

I hired Jake and Urban Power to add two electrical meters and relocate the circuit breakers out of the garden unit to a common area so all tenants could have access to them at my 3-Flat property.  He is a master of his craft and did a great job providing solutions to the issues I presented and working efficiently on the install and relocation as well as managing the permitting process with Com-Ed.  He has deep experience working with rental properties and gave me some great insights to add value to the property including installing security lighting which I hired him to do as well.  I would highly recommend Jake and Urban Power for any electrical job big or small.

Tom and his crew do such great work! Highly recommend them. They installed 4 outdoor outlets in our yard and also trenched wires underground so they were no longer exposed to the elements. Victor came out and provided a reasonable estimate. A few days later he came back to install an outdoor 14-50 outlet for me so I could charge my EV. The work looked great and so far I've had no issues. Would use victor again in the future for other electrical needs.

Frank was great, we have been in this area for a while and we purchased a 'fixer upper' so we have been through our fair share of contractors. He was by far the most professional and responsive to our needs.  He is very price conscious and very knowledgable.
