Best Air Duct Repair in San Francisco CA
My A/C went out so I called Service Champions to come out. They came out quickly which was appreciated. When the service tech got there he checked the system and started trying to sell me on new equipment right away before even looking at the condenser outside. When we got to the unit outside he said that he couldn't service it since it was next to a shed and that it is so old I might as well get a new one. He came back at 4:00pm that evening with a trainee to try and sell me a new system and quoted me over $8,000. I got other quotes from companies that included a new A/C system and furnace that were only about $5,000. Then, to top it off, the final person I had come out to check it out just changed the fuse and it kicked right up. Why couldn't Service Champions, who are supposed to be so good even just check the fuse before jumping to an $8,000 new system. I found it offensive and frustrating!!

Fuse was great. From the scheduling, to the diagnosis, to the repair. They completed the job successfully and while being transparent on all costs. I recommend.

Our air conditioning wasn't cooling properly and I called Service Champions. Nicholas Merlin came out and diagnosed the issue. He walked through the options to recharge the refrigerant and check for leaks. He was clear and presented good/fair options. I appreciate the high level of service he provided.

On a Friday, we had Dan and Brian install a new electrical panel (wonderful guys by the way) in our garage. What started out as a harmless, straightforward install turned out to be major hiccup during the course. Background: we have a garage door opener and it was switched over to manual mode because of the conduit that needed to be installed. Once the install was completed, our garage door got misaligned and one of the the window panels shattered. As soon as that happened, Dan was on the phone looking for a solution to have this fixed. Got Watts contacted a garage door repair person and had them come out the same day for repairs. Garage door was back on track and working fine, however, the window wasn't replaced. I texted Dan the same night and gave him the update and he mentioned to me to call anyone to have the glass panel fixed and they would take care of the charges. I contacted a few places with no luck. Monday rolls through and I contact Dan first thing in the morning. Explained to him the situation and he made a phone call to his superiors. No less than an hour later, Got Watts (Lindsay....another wonderful woman) contacted me and said they would have a contractor to our place first thing Tuesday morning. It is now Tuesday (lunchtime) and the broken window garage panel was fixed and replaced. My wife calls me and says, I love Got Watts. They were in constant contact with us assuring us everything would be taken care of. A slight inconvenience of a having a garage panel open during the weekend but things happen on the human nature. I get it - - accidents happen, and the great thing is they took full ownership of it. They took care of us BIG TIME!! I would definitely use them again (which we will) with our electrical needs. Thank you to Jeremy, Dan, Brian and especially Lindsay for keeping in constant contact with us.

Ongaro re-piped our entire house and mostly did a very good job. They took out part of the sidewalk but have not replaced it yet. It is over 3 weeks since the job was finished. They claim it has to be inspected first but have not given me any idea about how long that will take, nor do they seem to be checking with city inspection.
Also, the plumber putting in a new water heater rerouted the overflow discharge to the outside instead of leaving it where it was in the garage. In the process he made a big unnecessary hole in the garage drywall. We wanted it discharging into the garage which is no big deal if it overflows. He did this without asking us when I was home the entire time. I resent that he did not ask first.

Raymond was extremely helpful when we had a problem with one of our coaxial outlets. During this pandemic, where Internet is vital for working from home, we were very grateful to have his detailed explanations and quick efficiency when diagnosing and solving our connection issues. Not only that, Raymond recommended other steps we could take that would help us get the connection speed we wanted. Furthermore, Raymond showed a particular patience with any questions or concerns we had. Thoroughly impressed and we will look for him if we need anything else.

The owner responded to my Yelp inquiry in 2 minutes. Wow. He provided all the information, including an estimated range for the costs (so often you're told, we just don't know until we see it, and then you've already paid the initial fee of $79 or $89), next available date, etc. I appreciated that he was willing to provide this information, as I didn't want to spend a lot of money fixing my very old dryer. Based on his information I decided to buy a new dryer instead. Should I need appliance repair in the future, I will definitely check with this company first.
