For five years I have been trying to find a decent electrician to help with some issues in my home. Some won't take small jobs, some don't do residential, some were insane with pricing, essentially bidding themselves intentionally out of the contracts.
While reading over the business cards tacked to the wall of Espressit, a pleasant woman overheard me remark how hard it was to find a decent electrician. She immediately gave me Alex's information, noting that he had done excellent work on her older home and she loved him.
I do too. I had Alex install a 200 amp service. He coordinated everything from the permits through the inspection. His work was meticulous, even to the point of installing a painted backboard for the new circuit box. He showed up on time when he said he would. He provided a contract when I asked him for one. He cleaned and vacuumed up his trash.
I can't encourage you enough to call him if you need work. I have a whole series of other projects I will be using him for now that he's shown me what an expert he is.

Larry came and installed 9 outlets in our home. He also installed 1 ceiling mounted light. I highly recommend him. His pricing is fair and reasonable and he is exceptionally courteous, and conscious of timeliness and cleanliness.

We received friendly, prompt, professional, and courteous service from the owner in less than 24 hours, after he spent a full day working another job down the shore. He quickly identified the issue and fixed it for a very reasonable rate. We now have a new electrician for all our needs. Recommend very highly!

Excellent service! I called with a small but critical home electrical problem and had an electrician at my house within an hour--prompt, polite, professional, knowledgeable, good troubleshooting--resolved my problem quickly and cleanly. It's hard to find an electrician who answers your calls and will schedule you quickly. Young's is responsive and reliable. Highly recommend!! Thank you, Young's Electrical Services!!

I was had such a dilemma: washing machine and dryer delivery was on its way and Moser Electric were very accommodating. The process was easy, the quote was reasonable and the work impeccable. I would definitely recommend this company.

I hired Fortech to rewire a doorbell that hasn't worked properly the entire time I've lived in my house (5+ years). I recently decided get it fixed because I got a doorbell camera. 2 other electricians couldn't figure out the problem and just said rewire it.
First of all Fortech was super responsive and gave me a reasonable quote over the phone before they came out. And they came out within like 2 business days of my initial inquiry. The guys that came out were very thorough and spent a long time working on the bell until they figured out the problem...& it didn't need to be rewired. Meanwhile I had received a $1200 quote from another company to rewire and ended up paying significantly less...and my doorbell works! I would definitely hire them again for future projects.

Raul helped us renovate a commercial property and was very polite. The quote was fair and him and his team completed it in a timely manner. I am excited to work with them again in the future!

Joe Addis is the best! Very knowledgeable and a great electrician! He helped us take care of the items that we were asked to address as part of a home inspection. Definitely recommend using him for any of your electrical projects!

Pellegrino is honest and extremely competent. I had called him out as a second opinion for an electrician who recommended 2,500 dollars of work. He came out to look at a switchbox that I was concerned about, took his time examining it, and with explaining what was and wasn't an issue and that I really didn't have a problem. 2 years later- no electrical issues whatsoever. He even turned down any money for his time. There's a few times where you are just surprised at someone's professionalism. I'm disappointed that I've taken this long to write him a review and will definitely go to him for any electrical work I have.

Dave and his team were terrific to work with. I couldn't be more satisfied as a client and I will definitely use them again in the future!
I initially called them because I had a couple of halogen spotlight bulbs that stopped working and they identified an issue with the low voltage transformer. Unfortunately, that particular transformer was not one they kept on the truck so they came back a few days later to install one that would work...we all thought... Ultimately, that transformer would not work either, and due to covid-19 lockdown we had to wait a few weeks to try again. They got everything working for me last week and I will say that this is a company I would ABSOLUTELY use again. Sure, it would have been better if it all could have been resolved in one visit, but that is not the way it worked out and even though we hit a couple of small snags these folks were easy to communicate with. Showed up and called when they said they would, and they were VERY fair regarding pricing.
THANK YOU!

We believe that it's a blessing to discover a reliable business when it comes to electrical work. We had a bunch of electrical repairs/upgrades that we wanted to do at home and looked through local listings and eventually decided to call Brian Millman Electric since it was family owned and operated.
Brian came down the same day and wrapped up all the issues promptly. My mom was home during the service call and she was extremely happy with his kind nature and quality of work. The estimate that he gave us over the phone was in the ballpark of the final invoice. The business is licensed and insured and also a recipient of a service award per the business website (and we can see why). Highly recommend them for all your electrical work.

My husband & I can't say enough good things about the service we received from Hasa Electric LLC. Al & Sal Hasa are master electricians that really know their stuff & came to our rescue after another company screwed up our basement wiring. They're skilled, knowledgeable, punctual, trustworthy & rates are really reasonable. We liked the electrical work in the basement so much we asked them to return & replace sockets in the kitchen, do a safety check for all the rest of the outlets in the house & replace an outdoor light fixture. In addition, they also installed 4 closet lights & will be back to help us complete the basement project. Definitely recommend Al & Sal Hasa to anyone needing reliable, skilled & honest electricians. These guys are the real deal...trust me. Vicki, Phila.

If I could give them a zero stars, I would.
I hired then to get me heat in the middle of a deep freeze. Long story short, they vane to my house twice. The second time, the guy left assuring me that I had heat. later that evening I noticed I had heat in my upstairs but not in my downstairs. I called them and asking them to come out it's going to be 20 degrees that evening. when I spoke with someone they told me they would be happy to come out but it was going to be double time. I explained that they were just out here earlier in the day. It didn't matter. They were going to charge me double time.
when I spoke with the manager Donna she asked me who do you think you are? we are not coming out. they were trying to tell me that they were not coming out because it was not their responsibility to bleed the system.
after 3 hours of trying to bleed my system I found out what the problem was. They never turn the valve back on so my water based heating system was not getting any water. after speaking to the service manager Charlie the next day he admitted that it was their fault. I asked for compensation and I was told they would have to look into it. And now they won't return my phone calls.
I completely understand people make mistakes that's not the issue. The issue is they would not send somebody out what it was supposed to go to 20 degrees that evening.
so I can't stand behind their work or their customer service. I highly recommend you call someone else.

Contracted eagle to do a job at my home. Confirmed appointment a few days before.
No one showed up and they wouldn't respond to calls or texts. I could see from the iMessage that they read my texts (it displays time that they read the message) and never responded.
Absolutely did not value my time and left me looking for another contractor. Obviously I can't recommend eagle.

Where do I start? Is it the $100 fee they charge for just coming out or is it when they finally get here they charge another $250 to diagnose the problem? Oh might I add, the wrong problem. These guys were gonna charge me $7500 to replace a whole new panel because my kitchen stove and microwave short circuit. I asked the guy is there any temporary fix I can do now? He said plug your oven into a new outlet. So, what do I do? I get a second opinion. Second electrician comes and I tell him what the Thomas Edison Electric was gonna charge me and he laughs! Then goes to tell me that there is nothing wrong with my circuit panel. He then finds a circuit box, opens it up, fixes a couple wires, and ABRAH KADABRAH! My electricity is back on and it cost me $250 bucks. These guys will drain you dry! Do not let them and get multiple opinions!

I contacted Thomas Edison Electric on a Saturday afternoon after seeing smoke coming from the electrical panel in my home. I was concerned for the safety of my babies and home and contacted the company because they provided service on weekends an evenings. An electrician arrived after 5:00 p.m., examined the panel, said that it was the worst water damage to an electrical panel he had ever seen, and asked if I wanted the good news (he could fix it) or the bad news (it would cost $9200 and take 5-6 hours). Fearing an electrical fire in my home and feeling stuck with needing a repair done as darkness approached, I authorized the repair.
Now that I knew what the problem was and what was needed (replacing a 200-amp electrical panel), and having a sinking feeling that $9200 was probably very overpriced, even for a Saturday night, I started to look online for estimates of what that repair should cost, and I saw several estimates that confirmed that we were grossly over-charged, and it should cost a couple of thousand dollars, max.
I asked the electrician and his friend, a non-Edison employee who came after the fact to help him, to stop work. I asked to speak to the supervisor. The electrician put me in touch with the owner, who immediately became defensive. I explained that I feared for the safety of my family and home with a potential electrical fire, panicked, authorized the repair, but after seeing what exactly the problem was, I found that $9200 was an outrageous amount for a job that other providers online estimated should be $2000-3000. The owner continued with his defensive, rude backtalk. I told him that I could not allow being charged $9200 for this job. He finally agreed to charge us $6500, and refunded the difference to my credit card - they charged my card for $9200 before they even started work. The owner told me that I could submit a claim to my homeowners insurance company to be reimbursed. The electrician and his friend completed the job by 9:00. It took them 3 hours, not the 5-6 hours quoted when I was given the estimate.
My homeowners insurance company estimated that replacing a 200-amp electrical panel should cost $2786. An electrician who has worked in other homes in my neighborhood told me that he would charge $1500 to replace the panel, plus $300 for working on a weekend. After receiving this information, I called the owner and expressed my displeasure at being taken advantage of, and that I believed that they took advantage of a family who feared for their safety on a weekend when they wouldn't have an opportunity to get other estimates or find other service providers. I was met with more rude and unprofessional backtalk from the owner. This is an unethical company that takes advantage of homeowners in difficult situations.
