I have had electric work done in my home on two occasions via Gen3 . I have had pleasure of working with Jordan, who is not only punctual but patient in explaining the details involved in completing the work. He provides updates on the task at hand. Also informed me about the membership available at Gen3.

Ran into an issue with a light fixture in my home that popped and then was emitting a pretty nasty odor. Called Greg at nearly 7:00 pm on a Friday and he picked up, and walked me through everything that I needed to safely remove the light/fixture and make sure that everything was squared away and safe until I could replace it. He answered all of my questions and even gave me a recommendation on where to get parts. I cannot recommend Greg highly enough - if you need electric work or if you have questions or concerns, make him your first call.

I was extremely satisfied with Lauterborn Electric! Larry and his son were extremely helpful and were more than competent. They showed up on a last minute's notice and they were able to make a quick, efficient repair. If you are looking for honest, hardworking individuals who follow through, then I suggest you give them a call! I used them the first time today and it won't be the last. All I can say is that there is a reason they have five stars on Yelp!

2nd time I have used them.
They are super professional and reliable, a bit hard to get a short term appointment, but worth the wait.

I was having issues in my house where appliances were turning off during operation and lights were flickering.
A google search indicated that this could be a fire hazard. I called my usual electrician and waited. After several hours of waiting and never hearing anything back I called four other electricians and didn't hear a single thing from any of them either.
I reached out to my plumber and asked for a recommendation -- he recommended JDV and they called me within a few minutes of me reaching out. The woman on the phone was extremely polite and helpful and let me know someone could come out that same day. She even called me prior to their arrival so I would have an idea when they would be here.
Joe was on-site and diagnosed the issue. He was able to diagnose my problem quickly and was able to do the repairs the same week (permits were required so he had to come back).
Overall I am extremely happy with JDV -- I already recommended them to family members and will be using them for more work within the next few months. You can't go wrong with JDV!

This is the second time I have used this company and will continue to do so based on their professionalism, quality of service and timeliness. Tony came in to give me a quote and clearly communicated to me a couple of options for installing wiring, a lighting fixture and outdoor outlet in my porch area that had no electrical. Edison and Terry followed up with me, arrived on time for our appointment and had sent me a courtesy reminder the previous day. They assessed the area where the job was to be done when they showed up and got to work. I appreciated their clear explanation of what was being done when they had to make any adjustments during the installation. Everything turned out great and I will be a return customer for future projects!

Maliek was great, prompt and efficient. Thank you!!! For one thing, Frank -- an actual person -- answered the phone. That's a plus. Maliek came when. Promised, masked (thank you) and was respectful of our home with covers over his shoes, cleaning up along the way and always communicating where he was in the process. He gave us 3 options to choose from and was patient while we weighed the pros and cons. I would use this company again.

I work as a Building Supervisor for a non-profit in Camden, so GE Eletrical's prices and rates are great Divija is professional, reliable, does great work, and is great at communicating and being flexible. I will definitely be reaching out to him again for contract work.

I had an issue with one of my properties in port Richmond losing power in the kitchen and bathroom. We tried flipping the breakers off and on and that didn't work so needed a solution quick. I sent out a request on Yelp for electricians and Charles replied promptly. He offered emergency services to come out and troubleshoot at a reasonable rate (this was Friday night at 9pm) and mentioned if it could wait, it would be a lesser rate the next day. I decided on the next day and he offered me a generous time window. The next day he arrives half and hour early and texts me to give me a heads up and then he proceeds to work. In the end the voltage loss was due to wiring and he redid some of the wiring for a reasonable price. I was not at the property at the time but Charles gave me an option to view the invoice over email and make payment securely online. Overall I was thoroughly impressed with his response time and his ability to help me out when I was in a pickle without overcharging. Definitely will contact Charles again for future electric projects.

I'd call them....amazing. The tech was very professional, knew exactly what to do, and completed the job. The cost was quite reasonable, as well. Our tech, Hector, arrived exactly when we were told. The team at Thomas Edison were really nice and easy to talk with. So, yeah, amazing.

Great experience. Showed up in a mask, had feet coverings. He was professional and easy to communicate with. He did not cheat you of any time and made sure he did a good job and everything was working well before leaving. Highly recommend!

Thomas Edison Electric came out on a Saturday and replaced two light switches in my house. The gentleman was right on time, very pleasant and professional. These light switches are in my kitchen and very important. I have nothing but good things to say.

Andi came out to install an outdoor light, and find the route of a problem with some old wiring. Both tasks completed successfully. He did a third while on location when asked. The company was very quick to respond to initial email and they set up a very quick appointment. Andi was very knowledgeable and extremely efficient. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

My wife called on a Monday for a baseboard heater malfunction issue, and the technician was out the very next day. Professional, safe, courteous and reasonably priced for the project. Highly recommend Married 2 Electric for your needs. They will be fair and won't try to sell you on unnecessary work at your home.
(FYI, mask worn the entire time he was on our property. Even when outside on the phone).

Joel is great to work with. We have now had him out for 2 different visits for various electrical fixes and projects. He fixed a bunch of issues that came up on our home inspection for our new home. He added an electric outlet so we could hook up an electric dryer. Today we had him out to install some new lighting in our living room that has 18 foot ceilings. He does great work at a fair price. He is also great with communication and is quick to answer any questions. We will for sure be calling him again!

I called this company on a hot summer day when my tenant called me and told me her power went off. I was running around town with my two kids, so in a hurry I decided to call the first company I saw on yelp. I really wish I had taken more time to look for a more reputable company.
First, be aware that this company has multiple listings for different locations all over the city. If you look at their other listings, you will see the many poor reviews that they have received.
I received multiple phone calls from different people after my initial service request. They repeatedly told me that there is a $165 charge for emergency dispatch, and that once they do an inspection, they will let me know what the cost of the actual work will be. When the technician got to the house, a guy named Steven Miller called me and said he wanted me to pay the dispatch fee upfront before anything is done. He then sent me an email to get my written authorization to charge the credit card. All of this seemed a bit odd to me... the multiple phone calls, the written authorization, the fee up front... but I didn't think too much of it and just proceeded.
About 10 minutes after I paid for the dispatch fee, Steve calls me back with his technician on the phone to tell me that they have to charge me another fee for the diagnostic. I told them that my understanding was after spending $165 they would be able to tell me what's wrong and give me an estimate on the cost of the work. He then proceeded to repeat everything that he and another one of his employees had already told me over the phone multiple times. I told him that I did not feel comfortable proceeding forward and that I was going to call around to see if other companies have similar practices. He then had his other employee (a woman with a courteous voice) call me to try to reason with me. I told her again that I was going to call around and if this is common practice, then that's fine, but if not then I will be leaving a long review for them.
I got off the phone with the woman and called another local electrician. This man was honest, prompt and straightforward. He came out within half hour and fixed the problem for me under 10 minutes and charged me a third of what Thomas Edison had quoted me for simply coming out and finding out what the problem is (not including any work done).
Needless to say, I will be sticking with my honest electrician from now on. Steve did call me again to tell me that he would not charge me the $165 as a courtesy to make me happy. I thought for a second about not leaving a bad review, but I decided that I cannot let this company get away with unethical practice. This company needs to know that people are not stupid and this kind of bait and switch business practice will only backfire. Simple honesty, trustworthiness and respect for people is the way to go.
