I am surprised by all the good rating. I hired them to check an led under cabinet and led ceiling bedroom light. They were very professional, made an appointment, they confirmed, they called ahead of time and showed up on time. The electrician was super nice and checked everything but then told me that the entire system needed to be replaced (new driver, new lights, new wiring) at a cost of $3,500. I was appalled. I called another electrician, actually the one who originally installed the lights and he did the repair for $500???? Just the driver needed to be changed and it was done in less than an hour. So yes they are very professional but I am not sure they are qualified and definitely will try to up sell to people who do not know electric work.

Greg is very responsive, courteous and helpful. I had some issues with electrical work done by someone else and Greg came  first thing in the morning the day after I called him. He was able to quickly find the problem and fix it. I would recommend calling him.

I highly recommend Lauterborn Electric. Larry and his son Larry replaced 100amp service to my home, switched out recessed lighting to LED and a few other things.  They were fantastic!  Efficient, informative, reasonable and all with a sense of humor.  I am one happy customer. Call them now!!

I contacted Jim & Sons Electric to get an estimate for a relatively minor job, but one that I knew would turn into a major job if I did it myself. They advised me that they had a technician in the area, and could be out that same afternoon.
Their tech showed up as promised, spent a few minutes evaluating the job and suggested that I order the light fixture of my choice, and let them know when I received it.
I contacted Jim & Sons the day I received the fixture, and again, they had someone available to do the installation that same afternoon.
It's not easy finding a company that is responsive and courteous, and who also does a good job and has reasonable prices. I'll definitely use Jim & Sons Electric for any future jobs. Great service!

I was having issues in my house where appliances were turning off during operation and lights were flickering.

A google search indicated that this could be a fire hazard.  I called my usual electrician and waited.  After several hours of waiting and never hearing anything back I called four other electricians and didn't hear a single thing from any of them either.

I reached out to my plumber and asked for a recommendation -- he recommended JDV and they called me within a few minutes of me reaching out.  The woman on the phone was extremely polite and helpful and let me know someone could come out that same day.  She even called me prior to their arrival so I would have an idea when they would be here.

Joe was on-site and diagnosed the issue.  He was able to diagnose my problem quickly and was able to do the repairs the same week (permits were required so he had to come back).

Overall I am extremely happy with JDV -- I already recommended them to family members and will be using them for more work within the next few months.  You can't go wrong with JDV!

They solved my problem for a reasonable price. They were super nice. I will definitely call them if I have any electrical needs in the future!

While I didn't hire them, I found them to be very thorough in the repair explanation, extremely responsive from the first call and the written estimate very thorough. I am postponing the repair.

I needed some minor electric work done at my house to get a U&O Permit.

While these guys did the work properly and were friendly enough, their rates appear to be made up on the spot, with no breakdown of cost, and are ridiculously high.

They wanted $150 just to put in a panel directory, and charged me $800 for relatively minor electrical work. I didn't know any better, and was just desperate to get the certification at the time, but even the inspector suggested I was ripped off at that rate.

I asked for a breakdown of the cost at the time of the estimate, after finding out you guys wanted $150 for the directory, just to find out if there was something else I could take  out to DIY and save money. Your employee told me they don't have that, and it's just a general amount for the work in total.

If I knew you were charging $255 just to change a 20watt breaker to a 15w, I definitely  would have done that myself. Not sure why only after a bad review I'm
getting this breakdown, when I asked for it before.

Very professional, knowledgeable, and handy. Affordable and well worth the money. CJ is so warm and charming. He came to check out the circuit breaker, his original job for coming to my home. Well I had a ring nest doorbell that had been sitting on my table for almost a year and CJ was more than happy to oblige me. Thank you CJ, you're the best. Will definitely be acquiring services from here on out. Gotta give a shout out to Pops as well. My motto now is One and Dunn!!!

PG came out to restore power to our doorbell. They replaced the transformer quickly and without issue. They were right on time, professional, and did good work at a good price. Also good communication

I'd call them....amazing. The tech was very professional, knew exactly what to do, and completed the job. The cost was quite reasonable, as well. Our tech, Hector, arrived exactly when we were told. The team at Thomas Edison were really nice and easy to talk with. So, yeah, amazing.

Terrible terrible service. I waited 3 months for a quote. My project for totally derailed. I regret counting on Alex. Find a different electrician.  Can't get any worse.

Tom and his trainee installed a ceiling fan in my 4th bedroom.  It is beautiful and they know what they are doing. The office staff are so friendly.  Quick easy service.  They never disappoint.

The Yelp community came through again! I used the message a project Yelp function to EP Electric for an outdoor electrical outlet problem. EP Electric responded within the time they said they would, and then called when scheduled two days later for a consultation.

I gave another description of the problem, and Andi informed me of the initial cost to come out and advised me of the Yelp coupon which I had known about. Anything above that cost would be discussed before the work would be done.

I made an appointment to have EP Electric come out, and Andi and his assistant showed up as scheduled. His communication beforehand to come to my house also was very good.

Fortunately for me, my problem was easy for Andi to resolve and the breaker only needed replacing. The whole thing was done in less than 30 minutes right before a super-drenching downpour. Good thing since it was an outdoor plug problem!

I'd highly recommend EP Electric. Very good communication and quick service. The right way to do business.

My wife called on a Monday for a baseboard heater malfunction issue, and the technician was out the very next day. Professional, safe, courteous and reasonably priced for the project. Highly recommend Married 2 Electric for your needs. They will be fair and won't try to sell you on unnecessary work at your home.
(FYI, mask worn the entire time he was on our property. Even when outside on the phone).

Love this company and the two staff electricians that were dispatched to my home. I was pretty nervous to contact an electrician from an online google search, but I was pleasantly surprised. They were honest, fast, explained well and repaired shoddy electrical work that I had done. I am truly grateful that they quickly restored electricity to my home, in time for my first Thanksgiving in my new home!
