My entire breaker panel needed replacing. Andrew and Chris retuned my call on a Saturday morning and it took them the entire day to swap out a new one. He was very professional and clearly experienced. I have an old east side bungalow, so they had to untangle lots of years of incorrect wiring. The entire thing looks great and I feel safe using all appliances now. They will now be my go-to for electrical work.

I am so lucky to find Robert from Yelp. I was taking some risks to hire Northwest Electric because there was no any review before. He was helping me to complete all electric works of my addiction. I am so satisfied with Robert and his staff's works that I think I need to let other people know. Robert is very professional, knowledgeable and willing to find the best solution for me. Also the price is very affordable. His staff is friendly, working hard, keeping clean for me. Definitely I am going to recommend Northwest Electric to all my friends.

My experience with Wilkins Electric was great. These are guys who really know what they are doing. they showed up on time, and they fixed all our busted outlets and tested our circuit breaker to see if there were any faulty circuits.. They were friendly and they took time to explain what was going on with the circuitry in our new home. They said they have been in business for almost 40 years, that says a lot about these guys. You cant keep a business running that long if you're doing a bad job. I highly recommend These guys.

Mr. Schooley is on time, every time and really knows his business. He quickly figured out the issue and all was fixed within fifteen minutes of his arrival. Very reasonable rates. A skilled professional and gentleman of the highest integrity. Highly recommended.

I have no complaints about quality of work. However it appears their billing tactics are gender biased. I called to have someone come out to give an estimate for outside work. My neighbor was interested in having the same type of work done on his property. Their website stated free estimates. A quote was emailed to me which included 4 hours of work for both Journeyman, helper and supplies. The crew was there less than 2.5 hours. When I questioned the quote and the less time it took the office mgr stated he would adjust .5 hr. He said it also included first trip out for quote. I said no, you stated free estimates, plus I gave them a referral! My neighbor was given a discount and the crew was there the full 4 hours (more complex) My thoughts are hmmmm, neighbor is male, and asked for a discount and got it. Myself, female and did not get fair billing. I shared my story with my neighbor and he was sorry to hear it. No more referrals for this company!!!

I'm going to add my 2 cents on Mike Hollaway and HD Electric and say that he's an upfront guy and doesn't BS. People that have been referred to Mike have had great experiences and would highly recommend his services. I've known him for a few years now and he has grown his business from the ground up and has been growing due to his excellence...this is the real mom-and-pop business y'all.
And in regards to the service fee, like most electricians and service guys, you have to charge a minimum because it takes forever to get anywhere in this Austin traffic and there are some people in this world who may consider getting their head checked out. Plus, they have to factor in the opportunity cost (they are working on your $10 job instead of possibly a $1,000 job).

I had these guys out to do some electrical work an a on a property of mine and they were great. Very professional, worked with our schedule as well as performed the job in a timely manner. Price was good and I was informed of any changes or extra work theat needed to be done. Super nice guys! I will be using them again in the future for my other properties. They know what they are doing.

My main power kept tripping at the house and we were in a bit of a time crunch. James dropped what he was doing on a Saturday, came over and got us all fixed within an hour of me calling him. Super friendly guy and a true Texan. He was unusually fair on price compared to everyone else. I still feel like I owe him for being so awesome. Highly recommend him.

Stormy installed an outdoor ceiling fan for me. I was extremely impressed with his responsiveness and service. He was able to get me on the schedule within a day or two. The fan was somewhat non-standard, but he was able to install it with no delay. The installation was excellent, and he even cleaned up the packaging materials for me. I would highly recommend HEC Electrical Services.

We need some work done at our business. Steve was recommended by our long-time air conditioning contractor. We were initially really happy to be working with him because he was highly recommended and because he showed up right away to look over the job when we called.
We were promised an estimate shortly. Waited two weeks, left a message on 11/16. Waited another week, left a message on 11/24. No call return and no estimate.
I expected at least a phone call saying that he decided not to bid the job. I did not expect to be blown off. Not good business practice, I think.

Not such a good experience. I called Joey and left a message on his machine. Two days later and he has not responded. I'd hoped to have a more positive experience.

Joel did a job for us at our house in San Marcos. He built some nice shelves for an empty spot in our living room. It took a while but he did finish and we were happy with the job. Then we hired him to replace our double door front entry doors. It was a custom job and we gave him a $7000 deposit. That was back in May or June of this year. Since then we have not seen him. He deposited the check and then all we got for the money was excuse after excuse. He would say he was going to show up but he never did. He has shown no progress on the door, reads our texts but doesn't respond. On Monday, my wife and I are going to hire a lawyer and sue him. Do not hire Joel, do not give him money. He is a scam artist, not a proper contractor.
