Fantastic job.
They were fast, efficient, hard working, and at a reasonable price. Not to mention just good people.
The electricity to our pool was knocked out by Treeline Septic. After having no electricity and receiving multiple quotes, HD came out quickly and was able to get the job.
We were quoted at 5k-8k by several companies. HD came in with a more common sense approach and it only cost $500. Instead of dragging all new lines to the pull, they found an intersection and started from there.
I'll be using them again!

Came out the same day, both guys in masks. Talked to me about it all. Solved the problem and then offered to fix things which might prevent the issue from happening again. They were awesome. Efficient and easy! Thanks for everything!!

Working on a remote job 3 hours away from home is challenging enough, but when a high dollar piece of equipment needs some last minute wiring because the manufacturer's technician responsible for starting it up is flying in from out of state the next day- you HAVE to perform and get the job done. That is EXACTLY what HD Electric did for me. I called the office and explained my need while in my car and Rusty had his guys on site within a very short time to assess my needs. While one technician started prepping the site- another was headed to pick up the necessary parts/wiring to get our pump station wired into the power panel. In very short order, they had the equipment wired in, lines buried in conduit under the ground, and the machine all prepped waiting for the tech's arrival. I couldn't have asked for better coordination and the price met my budget given my extreme circumstances and last minute demands. Oh, and the entire team was very professional and responsive to my questions.
YOU CAN BET I WILL CALL THESE GUYS AGAIN IN THE NEAR FUTURE FOR ALL MY COMMERCIAL NEEDS. One of the best subs I've ever had the pleasure of working with!

had an electrician come out to diagnose an electrical problem through select home warranty. he took my money for the service call but did not come out to fix the job. what a joke this company is! i cancelled my policy with select home warranty due to this horrible company.
Interacted with Rusty to help my mother in law with an electrical issue, he tried to help troubleshoot over the phone to save a trip and $$$. Ended up needing them and he came out the next morning and got everything fixed. Highly recommended!
Wow.....HD Electric service is awesome. These guys know what they are doing & they are uber professional to boot. Rusty is the guy that answers the phone & he told me when the crew could be there & offered to have the workman call me when they were on the way....which they did.. Mike, the electrician, showed up exactly when he said he would, diagnosed my electrical issues and he & his crew got right to work. They were thorough and tidy. It was a pleasure doing business with them.
I'm going to add my 2 cents on Mike Hollaway and HD Electric and say that he's an upfront guy and doesn't BS. People that have been referred to Mike have had great experiences and would highly recommend his services. I've known him for a few years now and he has grown his business from the ground up and has been growing due to his excellence...this is the real mom-and-pop business y'all.
And in regards to the service fee, like most electricians and service guys, you have to charge a minimum because it takes forever to get anywhere in this Austin traffic and there are some people in this world who may consider getting their head checked out. Plus, they have to factor in the opportunity cost (they are working on your $10 job instead of possibly a $1,000 job).
LOVE HD!!! Have used them for over a year. Always polite, prompt, (usually early!), and know their stuff! Don't have to wait weeks for them to come out. The only electricians I will ever use.

Highly recommend! I needed some under-cabinet lighting installed in my kitchen. These guys came out and did it in less than an hour and charged me $150 for the hour. This was better than the competition and their work was very high quality. These are my electric guys going forward!
If there was a way to rate higher than 5 stars we would do that for these guys. We had had a spurious electric problem for several weeks that kept getting worse over time. It finally got to the point where one of our furnaces quit working (in 40 degree weather), half the lights and receptacles in the house were dead and we spent a sleepless night worrying that the house would catch on fire. I contacted two electrical companies that are highly rated on Yelp. One told me they were too busy to help and another told me they could schedule a call in about 3 weeks. We finally contacted HD Electric at 6:45 this morning. Mike and another electrician got to our house by 8:00. By 8:30 they had fixed the problem, explained to us what had happened, waited while I fired up the furnace to ensure it worked and were on the way to their next call. Very polite and professional and excellent service at a reasonable price. HD Electric is now our go to electricians for any future electrical projects or emergencies we might have.
Had to get 2 outlets for our Media room. Guys came in and ran the wires and installed the outlets. Price was low, very clean work, and very professional. I have referred many friends to these guys already. They met all of my expectations and again the price was excellent for the quality and clean work they did. Highly recommend.

Highly unprofessional. I called to have a breaker inspected and potentially replaced, and the guy replaced the breaker without giving us the price beforehand. Their website does not list any prices or say that there is a minimum charge. His response was that he doesn't have to tell me the price. Regardless, I just dropped $125 on a $10 part I could have replaced myself if he had told me what was wrong.
