I needed someone to help my elderly Mom out with a couple of repair problems, and I don't live in the area. Kit was super responsive and timely. Kit quickly identified the issue and resolution. Then he followed through to finish the repairs. Great guy. Thank you, Kit!

These gentlemen were wonderful! They came out on a Thursday evening to give us a quote, and we're back Saturday afternoon to do the job of installing an additional outlet in the garage. They were very thorough on the planning, and the checked a couple times to make sure they were doing what we wanted. They were very well priced, courteous, quick with their work, and cleaned up after themselves. We will definitely use them again for future electrical projects.

Very Professional! Great Work! Use them often...if your looking for a good reliable Plumber or HVAC (they do this too!)...I highly recommend and they won't make you take out a 2nd Mortgage to get your work completed!

These guys are great. Christian was our service technician and did an awesome job. He was very polite, asked good questions, and did excellent work. We had a chandelier and ceiling fan installed and they look great and work perfectly. I definitely give them my highest recommendation.

I had an absolutely horrible experience with Godby. My experience was so bad that I believe the company is either completely mismanaged or is willfully ripping off customers. Savvy consumers should BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!
On August 3rd, 2013 I contacted Godby Heating, Plumbing, Electrical to repair my AC because it was blowing warm air. The technician arrived and quickly told me that I needed to replace the thermostat. That didn't solve the problem, so Godby sent the tech back to our house. The technician arrived and after some time outside claimed to have fixed it. He presented us with the information about the repair and a bill for $500 AFTER he performed the work. He explained that it needed more coolant and so he refilled 3 lbs of coolant. I specifically asked if there was a leak since 3 lbs is a huge amount. He said it was now working fine and we should be good. I was skeptical, but the unit was indeed blowing cold air so I paid the bill. A day later, AC was again blowing warm air. I called and spoke to the manager Kevin. He admitted that there must be a leak and the technician should have performed a full leak check before installing coolant. Godby sent another technician who easily confirmed the coil leak. This repairman stated that the first technician should have performed a full leak test before filling any coolant and apologized for the mistake. The manager, later called to tell me they will install a new coil for an additional $1,852 that will solve the problem. This new cost includes a leak repair and refilling with 3 more lbs of coolant. I complained that Godby should apply the wasted original coolant cost (~$500) to this new total. Godby should have performed a leak test before refilling with coolant and even then should have presented me with options before actually performing the work. As I pressed for a reasonable deal given my previously incurred and wasted coolant expense, Kevin became rude and unreasonable in his interactions with me. I declined further work with Godby and called a competitor that quoted and performed the new work at a regular cost of $1,290. (This, of course, includes the coil leak repair plus the cost to refill coolant again.)
To make matters worse, Godby re-billed me for the unnecessary work performed on August 4th even thought I paid this total in August and have the receipt and bank withdrawal proof.
Every company makes mistakes, but how these mistakes are handled is what defines a company. Godby does not care about their customers. Godby represents POOR QUALITY, POOR SERVICE, HIGH COSTS, and DOUBLE BILLING.
Save yourself money and a headache -- AVOID GODBY!!

I had a great experience with Efficient Systems. Sean, Jeff, and Brian were all very kind, easy to work with, and worked quickly to get our furnace replaced. I was very pleased with their communication, and will certainly use Efficient Systems in the future. I highly recommend them to anyone who has HVAC needs.

As I've seen in other reviews, Mister Quik is very expensive...I agree. However, we have a service contract with them. They ALWAYS come same day, they are ALWAYS knowledgeable, polite, clean, and friendly. And they ALWAYS do great work. Today Justin was here to do some electrical work. Excellent!!

Messaged this business yesterday and got a call today and an appt was set for 3:30pm same day. At 3:45 I got a text stating "I'm about to be on my way. I had family come visit". I asked how soon he would be here and he responded, "I'm leaving here at 4pm so I believe it's 15mins to you".
It has been over an hour and no call, no show. Completely unprofessional. This is your business and shows that you do not care for it or the customer. You lost a potential customer and future customers.

Robert Poteet, doing business as Taylor's Electric and Plumbing, was called to diagnose a furnace issue at my house. After looking at the furnace for a few minutes, he recommended the furnace be replaced. We agreed on a price and we agreed he would replace the furnace. While I was with him, he called the HVAC supply house and ordered the furnace and parts needed. He would pick up the equipment in the morning and then install. I gave him a check for $700.00 to pay for the equipment he needed. The balance of the $1,300.00 bill would be paid upon job's completion. He called me the next morning and told me I should get someone else to install the furnace. Unfortunately, he kept my $700.00 equipment payment.
Robert Poteet is incompetent, extremely dishonest, almost impossible to do business with and you could only describe his way of dealing with his customers as belligerent and rude. You cannot trust a "single word" he says. I had several dealings with Mr Poteet prior to this incident and I knew he was liar and now, based on this experience, he has proven himself to be a thief. I am suing Mr Poteet because of this incident. He is trying now to say he is owed money for his hourly work. He works 30 minutes and charges for 3 hours of work at $100 an hour. Just another example of his greed/dishonesty. We only agreed on him installing the furnace which he refused to do. So, the entire amount I paid for the furnace/parts will be returned as mandated by the court.
I do not recommend anyone do business with Mr Robert Poteet. You will regret calling him. He is unfortunately a liar and will attempt to scam you. If you need more information about Mr Poteet DBA Taylor's Electric and Plumbing, please email me or call/text for additional information.

I called because I had an outdoor patio outlet not working, and they had a "free estimate." This was great because we weren't sure how much money we wanted to sink into it before knowing the problem. After a lot of confusion with the receptionist on scheduling, a tech came out. Friendly guy, I talked to him about how the outlet had worked just a few months ago, but was not working now and we had no idea why. He spent some time at the outlet, at our indoor outlets, at our breaker box, and at other outdoor outlets. He then said to me "I think it's just a bad outlet." He then called the office and asked for an estimate for me, and into the phone he said "yeah it looks like just a bad outlet, so I need an estimate on replacement." Okay, great, I scheduled to have work completed. That day came, same guy returned, gets going, and then says it's not a bad outlet, but instead must be something else. I get that because of course you don't know if something is going to work until you do it, sure. However, then he said that just today he tested the other outdoor outlets, and they are not working except for one, which makes him think it is a break in a wire underground. Which prompted me to ask if he had tested the outlets at the estimate appt. He said no. So I asked what it was that had made him think that it was just a bad outlet at the estimate appt. He responded "Well I just made sure it could be replaced because you just wanted the outlet replaced." Wait, what?? I asked him if he remembered coming the first time (only a few days ago) and if he remembered me telling him I had no idea what was wrong, that he spent time checking out whatever, and that HE told me HE thought it was a bad outlet. He said that he did remember all of that, but that "the original work order just said that you wanted the outlet replaced." At this point it had been two hours, and I asked him to just close up shop because we were not interested in any further estimate or work. He said "we have an electrical company that we can refer you to, if you'd like" uhh no thank you.
