Best Solar Panel Repair in Phoenix AZ
In general I am a DIY person. However, I have a newborn that doubles as a black hole for time so doing anything, much less a big project was out of the question.
I wanted to do three main projects - rewire the pool pad, install coach lights, and install a receptacle for a car charger in the garage. I checked NextDoor and found all the electricians that people suggested and contacted them all. I contacted 6 of them and this is how this all panned out.
2 never returned a call/email/showed up for their appointment
3 came out and gave a verbal estimate but never would return my calls/emails to give me a written quote.
1 came out to give me a verbal estimate, talked to me about my overall scope of my project, allowed me to change my mind over details a few times, measured the distances for the project, called/voicemail, and gave me a written quote.
Can you guess who the last one was? You guessed it - it was Ryan of Firefly. Everyone else was a dud.
I am not sure why there was such a discrepancy of levels of service. The only thing I can think of is that the scope of my project was simply too big for some of these guys OR it was simply more profitable to go do small jobs (lets face it, it is probably more profitable to change a fan than it is to do one of my big projects) and instead of just saying "this is too big for me, I'll pass" they just ignored me.
Who knows.
But Ryan came through. I actually only did two of my three projects - the pool pad rewire and installed a car charger. I over-engineered both projects and thus spent more so I cut one of the projects out until a later time.
My pool project was what I'd consider a pretty big residential project. I basically had a sub-panel installed which for me meant going from 0.5" conduit to 1.5" conduit and running big wires. To get all that out to the back yard we had to cut concrete. This may have been what scared some of the people off.
The only thing I can fault Ryan for is that I didn't completely confirm how I wanted the pool panel conduit to be ran. My previous conduit was ran along the bottom of my house and I thought that Ryan would remove that and install the new conduit in it's place. Instead he installed it higher on the wall. While this makes good engineering sense (less moisture up there), I was a bit taken back by the installation location. In the end it was fine it was just when I went and saw it after he was done I was a little taken back because it wasn't what I expected. Ryan did explain himself well and even showed me the old conduit that was rusted out due to it's location.
So in conclusion, if you want someone that will take you from verbal quote to work done AND all the steps in between then Ryan is a good guy to do business with, especially if your projects are beyond changing a fan or replacing a wall switch.

We meticulously considered and researched all our options when making the investment in a solar system, from size of array to brand and type of inverter. Ultimately we chose Rooftop Solar and Hanwha microinverter panels, and though the price was higher than the competing bid, we're really glad with the choice, both for technological reasons and for the company's ethos and practice. Rooftop kept us fully on board with things we wanted to have a say in (the aesthetics of the design and layout) and handled all the red tape and bureaucracy so we didn't have to (inspections from the city and APS, etc.) We came out with an 18-panel array that actually *looks good* on the house as well as reaps a ton of energy from the sun. It's also worth mentioning that everyone at Rooftop is really, really pleasant to work with--they are friendly, positive, kind, laid-back yet professional, and deeply rooted in and invested in the community and the cause of cleaner energy. Recommend wholeheartedly.

I moved in to SUn city after getting a divorce as a senior and wanted to put solar on the roof. I met Cary after speaking to several salesman and decided that Cary had the best price for me. The work was done. A year ago I contacted Cary and got some extra work done installing a mini split that helped even more. I would recommend galaxy solar to anybody because of the professionalism and care.

I had a great experience with T&K Electric. Tommy was very responsive and answered as soon as I called. He was able to come over the same day I called. He was able to quickly diagnose my electrical issue and fix the problem the first time.

I was relieved to find Sun Valley Solar Solutions. Solar energy is wonderful but the solar industry is volatile. I know this because I provide communication consulting services to a renewable energy company in Australia. Companies in this industry come and go, and with a 25+-year investment, the business behind the system is as important as the quality of components. I reviewed 5 companies, knowing I would have to suffer through interviews with sales reps who knew next to nothing about the products they were pushing, but who felt saying "solar saves money" was enough to clinch the deal. Not so at Sun Valley Solar. AJ Saferstein answered my questions honestly, with no hard-sell hype. He honed in on our goals, then recommended a system to fit our needs. We had to have a portion of our roof replaced before the install, and Sun Valley Solar worked seamlessly with Cardinal Roofing, our vendor of choice. The solar install itself was performed by a team of highly professional technicians who left the work site spotless each day, and finished the install without noisy disruption to myself or my gated community neighbors. Rachel Anderson, Project Manager, was incredibly responsive. Emails or phone calls were answered the same day and any needed action was carried out quickly and professionally.
Because I believe in using only highest quality components, we went with Sunpower panels and an SMA inverter, so cost was higher than it might have been, but not in my opinion, unduly inflated to the company's advantage - another measure of trust.
Our reason for going solar was driven by a commitment to environmentalism as much as it was by a desire to avoid the ever-increasing cost of standard electricity. With Sun Valley Solar, we felt we had achieved both financial and environmental goals. If you choose this ethical and highly professional renewable energy company, you'll be glad you did.

We got quotes from numerous companies and decided on sunpower. Happy we did! The process was easy and the project went smooth. Chad our representative was great and sent us updates often so we always knew what was going on. Only giving 4 stars because while they were working on the roof, they dropped soooooo many nuts and bolts and if my dog had one hit it's head it could have been pretty painful or my child coulda picked it up and choked on it. They did however go around and clean up anything the dropped after the fact. (So just watch your head while the are bolting things on the roof ) They also knocked our vent hood off and it took me a couple of times asking before it was put back on, but again no biggy and honestly, overall I think it's a wonderful company and those two minor things shouldn't detour anyone from checking them out. Our panels look great and again, every rep/worker was sooo kind and courteous. We've only had solar up for a month or so but so far so good!

I live in Chandler AZ and I wasn't a big fan of solar with the leasing part of the deal but with this company they really did there part to show me the difference of leasing compared to owning the solar. I've been using solar for about 8 months now and I couldn't be happy with the results of my bill. Thanks to the Ultra Energy! You will not be disappointed with saving so much money in the summer. Can't thank you guys enough.

Dylan Electric installed our solar system at a fraction of the cost of what those big-business/wham bam companies charge. The major solar companies slap a few solar panels up in a quick and dirty manner and you end up leasing the panels for nearly a lifetime; you are lucky to see any savings. Dylan Electric offers a greatly superior service. They help you analyze your average electricity use to help you determine how many solar panels you need, and then install enough to cover your whole usage. Additionally, we were able to purchase our panels without having to lease them. We haven't had an electricity bill (other than mandatory fees of less than $30/month) since our solar system went live over two years ago. This system will pay for itself in about 4 years and after that, we will not be paying for electricity! And our bill used to average $437 per month. We did have a recent problem with an inverter and Dylan Electric came over and got the system promptly restarted, free of charge. If you are considering going solar, and you definitely should be!, Dylan Electric is the way to go!

We had Ridge Roofing come out to repair a roof leak back in September. They showed up when they were supposed to, had great communication and were professional. Happy to say that after all the rain we've had since they fixed it, the roof repair is still holding up great!

I am so happy I went with Noonday. Everyone is trying to get you to go solar but Noonday offered me the best deal, service, and quality. I've saved so much money and now will own my energy in the future. They answered all my calls and were patient with me (not pushy). Also the install was super fast. They offered me the lowest deal I had seen yet and were very professional. The process was fast, easy, and stress free. I would highly highly recommend!! Great quality and service!!

I hate leaving back reviews but this one was a bit disappointing. 2 cancellations on back to back Fridays. They were good about calling the day prior and the morning of respectively. I was told family emergency for the first Friday and for the second Friday technicians were both sick. I know stuff happens but back to back cancellations is disappointing. They haven't given me a follow up appointment.

American Solar & Tile installed their solar system in June, 2019 & had been the only company on our roof. March, 2020 heavy rains came & noticed a leak. Reached out several times to American Solar to repair. 2 installers came, claimed it wasn't their fault & refused (still under warranty) to replace broken tiles. Called 2 other companies to get bids & both companies agreed the broken tiles were from solar install, as attached pictures will confirm. Additional fees were required to have tiles replaced.
