The Twin Home Experts Damage Restoration
I never thought that it was possible, (giant poss)

Twin Home Experts came thru again. That's right a contractor that keeps his word and answers the phone, and shows up on time. WOW!

You see we hired Twin Home Experts about 14 months ago to design and install a beautiful Large shower. We worked closely with Manny to build the shower that they really wanted.

We discovered about 2 weeks ago that the master bedroom that the carpet was wet, behind the bedroom wall. I made 1 call and left a message, and before I could have my morning coffee, the phone rang and it was Manny. I must be honest I was shocked that Manny call and then came over the same day.  In my experience contractors put warranty work behind current jobs. Not with Twin Home Experts. Manny showed up and took the lead and made our job the very first the very next day.

I gave 5 stars not only for the fine workmanship, but for Twin Home Experts ability to cause us to be relaxed thru the repairs Manny also followed-up  after it was completed.

Joe Streckfuss Plumbing Damage Restoration
We discovered what seemed to be a leak in our shower wall.  We called Streckfuss and they sent out a technician to evaluate the issue.  He arrived as expected and checked our shower and ran the shower to determine if there was indeed a leak.  He didn't find one readily and indicated that it was probably in the wall and we would have to do a complete tear down and replacement.  Remember, he didn't discover a leak he just said that we needed a teardown.  He then stepped outside and called the office and returned with a quote.  His expert evaluation and discussion with the home office indicated that it would cost somewhere between $5,000 - $7,000 to teardown the shower, find the leak, repair the leak, and install a new shower.  We were shocked and told the technician we would get back to him.  We chose to call our Homeowner's Insurance for advice.  They suggested calling a second plumber and submit a claim if there was and issue.  We called a second plumber who came by and checked the situation and determined that nothing seemed to be wrong.  We explained to him that Streckfuss said it would require a teardown to find the problem.  The second plumber was skeptical and said give it a couple of days and let them know if it happens again and they'll come back to check.  The issue did not return and has not returned in three years.  Our shower is fine.  Our insurance company thanked us for getting a second opinion.  After reading other reviews Streckfuss seems to take this route with many of its customers.  Sad to think this is a standard operating procedure.
