Originally the appt was scheduled for Friday @ 9:30.  At 11am I called to see when they would be here.  They called back at 3pm and said that their techs got caught up with jobs that took longer than expected.  They rescheduled for the following Monday.  They showed up on time and had the work completed very quickly with no problems.  Because of the missed appt they took $50 off the work .

I have used Discount Drains on two separate occasions. Each time, the plumber was on time, respectful of our home and friendly. They do excellent work at reasonable prices and always clean up when they are finished. I was provided with an initial quote and assessment upon their arrival and consulted with any recommendations as they were doing their work. I would highly recommend Discount Drains to anyone and will continue to use them for all future projects.

Great Customer service from the time the answered the phone until completion. They gave me a call ahead when they were getting close. They had very reasonable prices. I had a faucet installed in my kitchen today 4/13/19 The technician Aaron, was very polite and knowledgeable. They offer a free plumbing analysis, which the technician looked over all exposed plumbing and pointed out a couple of areas of concern; nothing major. He cleaned up after his task was complete. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a good plumber

We had a leaking hose bib, and the water was running down into our basement. We called on a Friday to schedule an appointment (non-emergency, as it only leaked when we had the hose running) and got someone out on Monday. Tracy came in and quickly found the problem and got it fixed in a timely manner. He kept us informed on everything he was doing during the whole process. The charge was reasonable for the work done, and our problem was fixed. We would use this company again for future plumbing issues.

We had a severely clogged toilet with a suspected toy being the problem. Service techs were very polite and worked quickly to discover the issue. Turns out we needed a new toilet. Back within a few days to install one we purchased ourselves to save some $$. When I thought maybe I still had an issue a few days  after the work was completed, they came right back out and explained what the issue was (wasn't related to the original work done) and didn't charge me for the follow up and maintained their friendly, professional attitude throughout the process. I will definitely call them back for any future issues and would recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber!

I also had Mr. Jones (the owner) install a new hot water tank in my house. Excellent service, timely manner, quality work!

Martin and his wife did an excellent job on the minor work done in my guest bathroom.  I like their honesty and ability to let you know up front what is needed and not needed.   They work for you not just for the money.  We need more professional and honest people like this couple.   Because Mr & Mrs Plumbing can do a variety of work I will be calling on them again because of their friendliness and honesty.  I will be recommending them to my friends and family as well.  Thanks a bunch!

John and Chris were able to eliminate my drain problem in a short amount of time, I had one of the other local companies here first, but they wanted 3x the money to fix the same issue! Con artists

Supervisor talks down to customers, considers customers ignorant and has an attitude like you would not believe.  Not interested in customer service at all

You are better off calling a 24 hr repair shop and pay extra because they will rip you off here; at least you will get fast service elsewhere

I called them several times to to tell them my faucet was vary loose n moved in n out n left to right. They kept telling me they would call me back and never did. I would NOT recommend them to anyone

I own a rental property in the Columbus Ohio area, and the tenants called as water was starting to back up in the basement, apparently from the drain line in the basement floor. I called several companies to get quotes on running a camera in the drainline and one of them was Mr. Rooter.

The main red flag with this company is their absolute refusal to give a quote or estimate on basic services such as putting a camera in the drain line. When scheduling the appointment, all the woman would say was we can't give you a price until the tech shows up, he will give you the price, and if you don't like it you can send him on his way.

Well I did send him on his way as he quoted a price of over $400 when every other company was in the $200 range.   I still am perplexed as to why they cannot give a quote when EVERY other company I called did.  My guess is that they hope the consumer will pay whatever they decide to charge because drain, sewer, and water issues can be ugly! I hired The Drainworks, and they only charged $190 to run a camera in the drain from the house to the city sewer.  As it turned out there was a clog in the drain under the basement floor and the total price for running the camera and snaking the drain was $255.  Since Mr. Rooter was going to charge over $400 to run the camera, I can only guess at what they would have charged to snake the drain,  but I'm sure it would've been at least $100,  so I probably saved at least $200-$300 by NOT hiring them.

charged us to snake the main line, broke the sewer line, wanted to charge for more work, we agreed, then they were no call no show.  lost money and ended up with broken pipe.  Promised several times they would be out and finish work that day, when they never showed we called and called and they never answered or returned calls.  Other reviews say no contractor license, wish we had saw that before.
