They helped me with toilet installation and ran a water line to the new outdoor kitchen and installed the sink.I was very happy with their work. They showed up on time and they kept me informed and they were easy to reach.

About 3 weeks ago my heat pump went out, and I called A-1 American they never showed and needless to say it was freezing/snowing at the time.  I guess they were too busy making commercials and useless magnets for the yellow pages  After 48 hours of hearing nothing from A-1 I did an internet search and found Tidewater Plumbing & Heating, the owner Mr. Martin had his son in law Morris over in less than an hour.  My heat pump was sparking and the compressor was totally shot.  Morris was able to stop the heat pump from sparking and causing a potential fire. I had a gas line, but it was never connected to the home. Mr. Martin advised me on the price, and how long the job would take.  When it came time for them to do the job, it was exactly as described.  He came with his son-in-law, and son.  They were quick and efficient, they did not leave a mess on my property.  This is a family business with honest people, Mr. Martin did not add any hidden fees or surprises as many companies do. The unit was of quality and started right up. If i'm going to spend my hard earned money I want quality work/product. I definitely recommend Tidewater Plumbing & Heating they are honest people who do quality work.

Horrible! I had a 5:30 appointment for a repair to a leaking tub faucet. They showed up at 2 in the morning! Yes that's right 2 am! I was charged $250 to change a gasket..... Never ever again!

The salespeople they have in their store are so much more knowledgeable than your standard Home Depot/Lowes employee that it is not even comparable. I brought in a random trim piece that I had removed from my shower and the gentleman at the counter had found the match in his book within seconds. When I had previously brought the same piece to Lowes, they recommended I try here.

So, I give 4 stars to their salesroom for having knowledgeable, helpful employees.

Not recommend, this guy will take your money and ran away, I paid upfront and he didn't come after that.
Yelp should remove this service so he can not do more fraud,
he put the fake pictures of this work, he doesn't even know how to paint , messed up my whole house painting project and wasted all the paint and money.

I waited for the technician to come to the scheduled appointment between 3-6 on December 26. They never showed and when I called that same day, they had no information for me. They called on the 27th at 9:45 to tell me their technician, couldn't get ahold of me. Then the girl on the line proceeded to tell me that their was no availability today despite my appointment not being met the day prior. I understand that they are busy however, I would expect an appointment the next day since they couldn't meet the prior day's appointment. I was getting frustrated and was told there is nothing they could do.

Total crook!!!!  Not even licensed ! Improperly  installed my water heater, when it didn't even need replacing! Now I'm red tagged by Virginia natural gas. Scam artist!!

0 stars.  This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had from a service contractor ever. Would not have been my choice however my warranty company chose them.
1. I setup an appointment asking that they have a sewer camera and I was told they did.
2. They show up at the house and I met them there with the plumber and helper left the door wide open while their exhaust fumes from old box truck smoked the house with carbon monoxide.
3.  Did not bother to cover dirty shoes and tracked grass and dirt all over my new carpet.
4. They did not have the camera I was assured they had and they proceeded to snake the line because it needed to be snaked in order for home warranty to cover.  I should have know and turned them away then.
5. Nevie Simmons gives me a quote for $1000 to camera $400, jack hammer $95, and labor 3 hours.  I asked for more details to be written out and they then inform me they don't have a camera and locater big enough for the line and proceeded to give me no additional details on work charged more for Jack hammer and labor hours.

Long story short- raised price when I asked for more details (bait and switch).  I got the home warranty/Nevie in and email stream and as the owner he was extremely unprofessional, made tons of excuses (no 1.5 camera, employee reprimanded, good luck finding a plumber to do the work less than 2k, he is a plumber and will not honor written mistakes), and belittled me until home warranty refunded my service fee and is just plain crooked.  Will never recommend or use a company that will not honor their word.  Imagine having to call them back for services performed.  Good luck if you use them

Waste of time, and over charges with out fixing your problem. We had a grinder problem. Jim came out after spending $895 for the bucket to be pumped out and paying him $750. He could not tell us what the issue was, came back the second day and wanted to put a new system in. Said it would take 8 weeks and cost $17,000. We had to pay him $450 for that day. He is yet to call us back a week later. We called another company that came out and fixed the issue in 30 minutes and cost us $525. Please don't waste your time calling this man. He is a fraud and only wants your money.

We have used Just Plumbing on more than one occasion. They are reliable, responsive and competitively priced.

The initial call I made to roto rooter was very professional and very efficient. They took my information and sent me a confirmation email. I advised them I wanted a free estimate to have a new vanity installed in a half bath. I stated if the estimate is ok. I will move forward with install. The technician Ernie came out with very poor customer service and very poor workmanship that I later discovered after I consulted a master plumber.  A week later after my consult with a master plumber. I called roto rooter again to comeback out to fix the inadequate repair. The representative stated that the technician will be out between 8am - 10am Friday morning with a confirmation email. At 8:00am I called to confirm someone was still coming based off the previous reviews I saw stating that the technicians either do not show or they are always late. The representative assured me that they will be there in between the stated window of 8:00am - 10:00am. 10:00am comes around no one present I called to follow up with representative she stated they will be there within the hour. No one came in that hour. I called again stating the same thing. 12:30pm is when the technician finally came. Michael was a great technician when he saw what his co worker Ernie had did he was shocked. Michael knowing himself that this was poor workmanship that was completed. Stating throughout the repair why did he do this. Michael properly repaired the drains and used the correct parts. I called later to speak with a manager I was informed that she was in a meeting. I asked for a call back to discuss the issue. Still to this day no call back. I feel I should be compensated for the additional time off from work and for them not fixing it correctly the first time. This was a very poor experience. I will be sure not to use or recommend or refer roto rooter in any future jobs or repairs. Here are photos as well.

I got excellent service from Michael. I called on a Sunday afternoon in a bind because the water wouldn't go down the drain (nothing bad happens on a weekday; it's always a weekend or holiday). They sent Michael out that night and he got right to work. It wasn't a simple job but Michael persisted till the clog was gone. Turns out it was quite a ways down the old cast iron pipe.

Price was a little more than I had hoped, but not unreasonable for short notice and difficulty/quality of job done.

Good service but way too pricey for my daughter in Newport News.  Way too pricey and they say it is the discounted price.  They will not give you a price for the service when you call the office.  
Was told 361 to clear line by toilet and charged 257.74 to remove and reset toilet, , 474.90 for video camera inspection that took less than an hour but automatic two hour charge. $$$$$

I called about a broken water heater this morning about 8:30 am. They said they would be able to come between 1 and 4 pm. Justin arrived at 1 pm. Quickly assessed the problem and my water heater was replaced with a new one. Everything was done in about 90 minutes. This included getting a new water heater form the warehouse, removal of the old water heater, and installation of the new one. Excellent service!!! Would highly recommend this company.

They do not do work up to code, steal tools and personal property and never finish a job that they are paid for. Jason and Melissa are both con artists. They were paid in full for a job and didn't even complete it. On top of stealing over 1k of items from the home. The owner of the trailer is not happy, never was. Took them to court and they never showed but were quick to file bankruptcy to clear the judgement.

Funny that 2 of the reviews are from Melissa Bond herself.

Do not hire them. I think he is a scam artist! He was hired to do a small job in tore up my entire floor, which cost me $5000 out of my own pocket because he kept the rest of the insurance money saying he spent it on plumbing. I had somebody go into the house after him and a lot of the things that he said he did we're not done.

This review is for customer service only, it is not a review for actual service .  First issue I called 9/26 552pm, spoke with a woman said plumber would come to my home the next day but no time. 9/27 I call again 236pm woman tells me she has no record of me she will have scheduler call me right back.  No call. 9/28 I get a text plumber is come to my house today 11-3 I call them because I  have a VA appointment as I am a disabled veteran woman tells me well I emailed you at 5 am she told I'm a last priority due to home warranty
