Best Drain Cleaning in Albuquerque NM
I had an ancient boiler for baseboard heat & domestic hot water heater. Both at least 27 years old, really!
Before catastrophic failure, I requested 4 bids from HVAC plumbers. Of the four , 3 submitted bids; 1 suspiciously low & 1 really high & one in the expected range. Only Baker Plumbing sent the actual plumber to do the bid. That is Steven Baker himself. He arrived at the time agreed upon, asked the right questions & got an itemized bid back in 1 day. Work started on time and finished when anticipated. He came in on target with no overcharges. He explained fully & helped getting tech info for custom settings.
Steven Baker plumbing is highly recommended.

I just love these guys! They are always on time (sometimes early!), do a great job and are reasonably priced. I trust them completely! I recommend them to everyone I know, and they have all been as happy as I have been.

Flooded drain on a holiday. Only business to answer their phone and responded within 2 hours. Highly recommend.

Our toilet flooded and the water went into the tub. It flooded in the late evening. I called several emergency plumbers, but no one could come out. I found Louie and Sons sewer and Drain. They were hear in less than 45 minutes. Excellent service. Very nice and courteous. I highly recommend them! Very reasonable too!!

Buyer beware. Outrageously expensive and do not guarantee their work. They charged me $413 to unclog a bathroom sink. They removed the p trap and snaked it approximately 15 feet. Then it was clogged two weeks later.
When I questioned them on their outrageous prices, they compared themselves to doctors and that they charge a flat rate no matter how long it takes. Two weeks later, the drain is still clogged and no reply from them. You've been warned.

Prompt response to Request for Estimate, scheduled for a Mon a.m. repair, even though it was a holiday (Memorial Day), completed repair in less than 2hrs, and stuck to the estimate that had been provided. Was advised by Tech that I would be notified via email with invoice; received email same day advising that IF I didn't pay by end of day, there'd be penalty charge -- would have been nice to have understood that up front ... but, all in all, will use again in the future.

15 minutes of snaking out a drain/ 2 guy's/one working/ not an emergency/ not a holiday.... $184.00. Apparently, I should've checked on price ahead of them showing up. For that price, they should've cleared the 4 all the way to the septic instead of just the 1.5.

I've had a terrible experience dealing with Roadrunner/their staff. I called yesterday to see if they could send a plumber/contractor out to diagnosis what I believe to be a leak in a bathroom. Considering the urgency of the matter, I was told by a rude worker, Janelle, assumingely their customer service rep/scheduler, that a plumber would've possibly been able to come out yesterday after he finished a job he was on and do a diagnosis. If not, she agreed to call me and let me know either way, and let me know if they were going to come out very early the next morning, so that I could schedule my day and plan accordingly. I never received a call from Janelle, unlike she promised, so I figured I'd wait until this morning to see if they called with a time range that they were going to show up, or maybe they'd just show up after a while. I woke up around 6 AM and waited nearly six hours for a call or for someone to arrive at the door. I didn't receive any communication, nor did anyone arrive at the agreed upon location. So I called after waiting about 6 hours for some follow-up, and spoke with Janelle again, explained to her my circumstance and asked if anyone is coming today. She responded very rudely by raising her voice, cutting me off, speaking over me, and essentially calling me a liar because she claimed that her employee's GPS showed he was at the location at 10:36 AM (which, by the way, is not very early/first thing in the morning). I swore to her that no one knocked on the door, rang the doorbell, or even gave me a courtesy call to say they were here. I even suggested that maybe it was possible he was at the wrong location/door unwittingly, but she wasn't having it and offered no concessions for wasting my day, which was scheduled around what we agreed upon the day prior. All she said after I inquired is that she was sorry she didn't call yesterday because she was busy. That's ridiculous. A two minute call or email would've sufficed, c'mon. Nevertheless, a call by the plumber/contractor upon his supposed arrival today would've been helpful. All she had to offer to me was them possibly coming out LATER NEXT WEEK to do a basic diagnosis.
I then decided to try calling a manager of their company before leaving this review to see if we could work something out, and spoke with another unhelpful, rude, and unprofessional woman named Linda. She and Janelle essentially mirrored one another, making me sound like a fool for saying no one showed up or called. I have the proof... regardless, why would I lie?! It's in my interest to get the potential leak addressed ASAP, which is why I took off an entire day to have the urgent issue addressed promptly and professionally. I'm disgusted and offended by the immaturity and attitudes of the two Roadrunner employees with whom I spoke. I'll be sure to refrain from doing any business with or relying on them in the future, as they aren't reliable, are accusatory, and have wasted precious time regarding an important issue. I couldn't recommend them to any friends or loved ones. STAY AWAY!

Best plumbing contractor ever ! Knowledgeable, efficient, honest, reliable, and so very nice ! We have had them for jobs as small as clearing a drain, and as large as running new gas lines. We are thoroughly pleased with the work, the timeliness, their integrity, and the price. I absolutely recommend this company !

Was overcharged for a simple tankless water heater flush. Two men sent for a one person job, one who didn't do any work other than translating for the one who did all the work. Nice enough fellows but poorly equipped. Drain hose was connected without a washer and ended up spraying water all over mechanical room/garage. Call someone else.

Contracted through Lowes for a simple bathroom sink install after new vanity top was installed. Technican showed up without necessary parts snd had to leave to get them. In the end the sink was set high, plumbing not properly connected or checked so the drain line leaked. Called for a return visit, said technician would be here in 2 hours. Four hours later still no word so I called back and the woman forwarded me to the technicals voice mail. No response. I had house guests arriving the next day and decided to try and figure it out myself, and did. Called back to let them know and recieved a totally rude response from the woman who answered the phone, who then ended the call hanging up on me mid-sentence. DO NOT USE!

I called my home warranty company HWA to report that my evaporative cooler wasn't working and they assigned me to Ashcraft Mechanical. After performing a quick Google search for the company and saw the sole review they had, which was on Yelp with 1 star. To say the least I wasn't too enthusiastic about using them and decided to call the home warranty company to have another company assigned to assist us.
After 4 days of waiting for HWA to find another company we decided to use Ashcraft despite the review. During their first visit to evaluate the problem, the techs were on time, polite and very efficient. They told us the problem with the cooler and the it would require replacement as it wasn't worth it to fix. By this time we had been dealing with the high heat outside and it was even hotter in our house. The tech managed to do what I couldn't do, get the cooler to limp along and provide some cooling while they did the quote and submitted it to HWA. HWA sat on the quote for a few days and after repeated calls the quote was approved and we called Ashcraft late Thursday to let them know as they had been calling HWA also. Their office staff was incredibly polite and said they needed to confirm and would call us back. In less than 5 minutes they called us back and asked if we would be home the next day, which was a Friday. The techs showed up around noon and in less than an hour and a half they removed the old cooler and installed the new one and had it up and running.
I know the other review used HWA also, and felt that Ashcraft was the cause of the issues they experienced. But in my family's experience, it was HWA that caused the delays and issues not Ashcraft Mechanical. I would highly recommend Ashcraft to anyone, while advising those same people to stay away from HWA.

Needed a sewer line inspection for my house, and A1 quoted $125 to provide a report and video. They came out started the service and were not able to inspect the whole line, so they recommended installing a cleanout. After a quote was requested, their estimate sounded very high. On top of that they charged me for the incomplete inspection with a fee for trying to inspect from the roof (the other end of the line) and they wanted to charge the inspection fee again after they completed the install of the cleanout. Something was wrong, so I requested quotes from 3-4 other companies, and 2 came back with half of A1's estimate and the other 2 were forty percent less. The bottom line is when you need plumbing work, yes it's an expensive service, but you want to find a plumber that is honest. A1 is not that, so just stay away.
