Best A/C Repair in Virginia Beach VA

I live in Williamsburg, VA. I called and they picked up the phone quickly; however, please be sure to ask upfront about prices. They indicated that they would be able to send someone out the same day to look at an issue with a leaking pipe, but once I found out they charge $100 just to come out to look at the problem, I decided not to have them come. The receptionist also indicated that their rate is $175 for the 1st hour of work and $90 for each additional hour. This seems steep considering the average hourly rate of pay for a plumber is ~$30 (according to my online search). I also was able to schedule free estimates with other companies. I didn't hire them so I can't speak to their quality of work but they are responsive.

I stopped by to see the good folks at Comet Plumbing at 4920 Cleveland Street in Virginia Beach. I told them the problem that I was having and they sold me the parts that I needed to make the repairs and a whole lot more.

They gave me professional advice on some of the pitfalls that I might encounter and exactly how to work around them.

I felt like I was talking to an old friend that was giving me some great repair advice instead of a salesperson trying to sell a product. These folks know the plumbing business and it shows.

I highly recommend this business if you need parts for any plumbing repairs that come up.

During the COVID 19 Pandemic they practice social distancing and they wear personal protective equipment and they ask the same of their customers.

If you don't know what you need, take a picture of the item that is giving you trouble and they can point you in the right direction!

Jason's an awesome guy and offers a fair price. Had him come and diagnose a leak in my house. Come to find out it was an HVAC issues. But he explained everything to me clearly so I was able to understand what was going on and also recommended an HVAC guy who came and resolved the issues. Jason was responsive and communicated with my the time he was available. Will definitely be contacting him again it I have any other issues.

Neil and his team were prompt, courteous, good at communication, and delivered on time. I will definitely use them again.

When Roto Rooter came to my residence they were very quick in resolving my issue. The problem is that it took me having three appointments for them to show. The first night no one showed up and I had to call to find out why. The second night I was told more than once that someone would be at my house that night. Didn't happen so I had to reschedule again. The third night the dispatcher promised that someone would come. He could me before the plumber showed up to inform me that the plumber was on the way. Roto Rooter is a great idea but I believe the limited technicians makes things inefficient.

Came within an hour of me calling on a Sunday. Answered all my questions. Highlt recommend.

Shop other competitors first.  Paid $195 for an estimate for hot water tank change out.  Other competitors' estimates were less expensive, and one came out for FREE.  They wanted $2,375 for a power-vented gas hot water tank install.  Found same make and model tank for $1,900 installed.  Shop around!  These folks are responsive, very polished, and professional.  And they charge dearly for it.

These guys were on point, Tim laid out a very good plan for the job and just presentation was very thorough. Maybe not the cheapest but I would rather pay extra to get quality equipment and service. A crew of 4 techs removed our old HVAC and installed the new system in one day, and left our home clean as it was when they began.

This company is a rip off, charge double the price of other plumbers that are qualified to do the same work.

Once again your company came to my rescue! My brother was scheduled to help me winterize but he got sent to OK. My hubby is in the hospital in FL so I called your office. Sarah explained all the details and gave me a quote. JOE arrived at the house Sunday, called me and did the work. I know I can always count on your company to be there when needed! I called this company at least 5 days before my appointment was booked to have our water pressure in our kitchen checked.  I was told a plumber from this company would be at my home on a specific date and time and the fee policy was explained. I agreed and rushed home on that date so that I would be here to let the plumber in.  He/she was a no-show and there was no call explaining why.  It is not my responsibility to follow up on contractors but I can only imagine this company's customer service or lack there of speaks volumes about its professionalism.

They do not do work up to code, steal tools and personal property and never finish a job that they are paid for. Jason and Melissa are both con artists. They were paid in full for a job and didn't even complete it. On top of stealing over 1k of items from the home. The owner of the trailer is not happy, never was. Took them to court and they never showed but were quick to file bankruptcy to clear the judgement.
