Best Wiring Repair in Seattle WA

This is my first ever Yelp review and I decided to write my honest review for After Hour Services.

My kitchen sink has been stuck for more than 12 hrs. I tried different methods for 5 hrs but still couldn't get it resolved.

After Hours Services exceeded my expectations in many ways-

Responsive: Will replied my request for quote under 10 mins, and replied my text and call fairly quickly.

Professional: Will got things done in under 30 mins. In addition, Will was very thorough in examining andexplaining the issue. What I love the most is that he cleaned up the area after the issue was fixed.

Transparent pricing: he's honest and it's a flat fee and very reasonable price. I got different quotes and his is the most transparent.

On-time: he was on time, which is a very big factor for me.

Overall, I recommend Will and After Hour Services, with passion.

Excellent, friendly, and quick service. Josh was a gem. After contacting them I was set for an appointment in the near future.

Found these guys on Thumbtack and am pleasantly surprised. Had them do additional lighting. Very happy with their work. Highly recommended.

Dean was so nice to come by the same day that I called him.  Even though he had other customers that afternoon, he made the time to stop by our house.  He was very careful to check all the outlets that were not working and wound up changing out our circuit breaker.  Dean is very knowledgeable and makes every effort to explain what he is doing and why.  

I would definitely recommend Dean.  He is a great guy and does excellent work.

Called their Emergency 24/7 service.... Tried to explain how my sink was less than an hour away from overflowing and flooding my condo, but I was rudely cut off by the call center guy 4 separate times when I tried to explain my situation. He just wanted to get my info to pass me off to the next guy. He demanded my physical address just for a price quote (which is clearly unnecessary until I commit), and tried to explain that South Bellevue/Factoria area was not enough to move to the next step!!! Wow!!! He then proceeded to say fine, I'll send them an email and see if they want to get back to you... WTF?!?!  An email?!?! At midnight you think someone is going to be reading an email for an EMERGENCY?!?!? And go stinking figure.... I don't get a call back until 6:15am the next morning!!!! This place is horrible!!!! Emergency services my ass!!! I even laughed at the lady who called me at 6:15am and said Are you serious??? This is my emergency call back from 6.5 hours ago?!?! She laughed at me!!!! You guys are HORRIBLE!!!! Thank goodness I didn't hold my breath and called another plumbing company!!! Thank you Quality Plumbing for having REAL customer service! Southwest Plumbing can suck it.

Called them for a leaky pipe about 3 inches long charged me 1500.00 took 1.5 hours totally raped me can only imagine what they would do to YOU or your family or mabey a elderly individual call someone else please.

Absolute rip-off.  Stay away.

Called to get two shut-off valves replaced in my kitchen. They wouldn't give me an estimate on the phone although the job is pretty clear. Said they would come right away for a $100 service charge and then give me an estimate.

The guy came within an hour of my call (cool) and said it would cost $600 with taxes on top of the service charge (not at all cool). I was aghast as the job would barely take 30 mins for a seasoned plumber (a day for me :)) and the parts are probably $20. I told him that I didn't want him to do the job. He called him manager to see if they could offer a discount and the manager said he will take $50 off. I asked him to buzz off.  I had to pay the service charge however.

I called around and found a plumber to fix the problem on a Saturday morning for $300. I know that's high too, but it is a lot more reasonable, even after paying the service charge.

Beacon seems to exploit emergency situations and customers feeling locked in after committing to the service charge. A more honest business would tell customers an approximate cost during the phone call. All of the other plumbers I called were willing to estimate the job cost based on description.

Wonder if Bobby Wagner would do it for less :)

Unless you have money growing in your backyard AND like being ripped off, I would stay away from this company. The very basis of their business is designed to fleece.

They came out to renovate my drain field and install an overflow alarm on May 2nd.  The drain field was renovated. As they trenched the entire yard to install the alarm, the wall of the septic well cracked, they claimed was unrelated to their digging. They back filled everything, and left. The alarm was not hooked up, grass was removed in the area they worked in and the septic well was cracked.

I was in contact with Ryan for an estimate for repairs and finishing the alarm. I reached out to  him on May 3rd, May 20th, May 27th, June 1st, June 13th, June 26th and July 5th. Every response was that they were waiting on something, then something else.

In the end, another company repaired their work and finished their alarm.

I purchased a 1915 Craftsman home in 2019, gutted and rebuilt the entire home.  The only thing I did not replace was the main sewer line and the roof (yet).  After 2.5 years, the clay line finally finally filled with roots enough to back up in between my house and the neighbor (we share the waste line).  

Line backed up 2 weeks in a row.  Called Beacon on a reference; they were polite, showed up when expected, camera inspected my line, let me watch while diagnosing the problem, offered me a solution and gave me a fair price to fix it.  

My line was designed installed in 1915 and not up to current standards - Beacon offered a solution to fix this and did it TODAY before leaving my property.

I would use them again and suggest their services to anyone inquiring with need.

I was a little hesitant to have people in my home unattended but, i was told not to worry because they were licensed & bonded. They were supposed to fix my breaker and 4 lights that were faulty probably due to breaker issues. Pse came to my house 1st thing & were turned away by resicon. They spent a full day @ my home&then left. I had to call them for an explination.they told me they had to come back next day.i said i cant take anymore time off so i had to leave them alone@home. When i arrived after work none of the lights had been fixed.i'm hoping that none of the sockets fry like thaey had before.i was told the main box only pse could fix was the issue. What a waste of time. Later i found that my lights in my garage no longer were not working. I was told unless i could get more county funding, they would not @ least fix the garage lights that were working before they got here. I would not reccomend them AT ALL. Honor your word.

Called Black Hills to get a rough estimate on replacing the blower motor in my furnace and was told that it would require a tech to perform a diagnostic service to verify what was causing the problems. I told the rep that all I was needing her to provide was a ROUGH estimate for a motor replacement and she said that they have flat rates and could not provide that to me without the service being performed. That's nonsense! A company that replaces furnace motors on a regular basis ought to be able to provide an estimate without a service call and related charge. Won't be doing business with this company in the future.
