Fixer - Seattle Plumbing Service
Fixer responded to my request for bid through Yelp. They were so easy to work with, and were able to come to my property and fix my broken outlet the same day. The price was better than other bidders and I really appreciate how easy it was to work with them.

Seatown Electric Plumbing Heating Air Plumbing Service
Seatown installed a full home air conditioning system and ran natural gas to my BBQ and installed a natural gas log lighter in my fireplace.  They came out quickly to quote and installed the next week. The installers did good work and were courteous to minimize messes and disruptions while they installed.

Dean's Home Repair Plumbing Service
I cannot recommend Dean enough. Super responsive, thorough communication, quick action, friendly demeanor, and overall great customer service. I called on a Saturday afternoon, and he was able to come out the next morning. Definitely my go-to electrician from now on.

South West Plumbing Service
I used Southwest Plumbing to cap a broken line to a sink. It was late in the day and they did come out until 9pm. I was told I would not be charged emergency or late day charges.
That being said, the good news is that they were courteous and professional and got the job done. The cost for two caps and a new shut off valve in one hour of work was $971.  This is very high for minimal parts and time. They won't guarantee the work because my PSI is at 100 and for $700 more they would install a regulator. No thanks. Hopefully I won't need to use this company again.

Hunt's Services Plumbing Service
I had a main water shutoff valve problem in my house that was caused by a repair job I attempted to perform myself with (almost) success. Since I didn't have running water as a result of this, I needed to get someone out ASAP to get it fixed.
I called first thing on a Monday morning and was put on the schedule to have someone out the same day. I got a call from the dispatcher around noon.

They charge a $59 dispatch fee to have someone come out, but they will look everything over and quote out what it would cost to replace it. I'm not usually a fan of the mandatory service fee, because you're a captive audience at that point, but the two technicians that came out were very cordial and to-the-point when assessing my situation and how much it would cost to repair. If you don't like the quote, you're only out the $60. I called a few other places that charged near double that just to have someone come out.
Corey did an excellent job on the task and was very respectful to the fact that it was due to a DIY-er who just couldn't get the job done right. He explained what typically goes wrong with plumbing projects and was willing to offer suggestions for future projects.
He even checked out my water heater and validated our water pressure and mentioned that the heater was due for a replacement -- with no arm-twisting.
They cleaned up after themselves and were out in about 90 mins.

I would definitely recommend for your plumbing needs (or electrical/HVAC)!

Beacon Plumbing - Seattle Plumbing Service
If you would have asked me 3 months ago when I called Beacon to replace a leaking water heater I would have been thrilled.  They came out promptly, gave me a quote ( a little higher than most - but they were here quick).  The installer did a great job.  Fast forward 3 months and my furnace needs replaced.  Again they were quick to arrive and provide me a quote, again, a little high but they could be out the next day to do the job.  They arrived early the next day and replaced the furnace in no time.  Happy Camper.

Later that day I realize they did not properly connect the automatic fresh air system and called the office.  I was told they would have the tech call me to arrange repair.  I waited 2 days and never receive call back.  Again I call the office and explain and again I'm told the tech will call me.  I receive a call back 15 minutes later.  Tech explains he is going on several days off but will be out the following Saturday to correct the error.  Saturday comes and goes, no technician.

Once again I call the office, explain my situation.  Many apologies were provided and I'm asked what schedule will work for me.  I arrange an appointment the next day (Friday) between 11-1 and arrange to take the day off to be at home to deal with this.  Well, 1pm comes and goes with no tech in sight and so I again call the office.  The receptionist remembers our call the prior day and assures me that the tech will be out and I should hear from him soon.  Well, I hear from the tech 30 minutes later only to have him tell me he can't be out until Saturday.  I have commitments till 1pm so we arrange for him to be onsite at 1pm.  So I've taken the day off for no reason and now have to wait around again for another Saturday.

Currently skeptical if I'll ever see the issue corrected without contacting another company and having to pay to fix Beacon's mistake....we'll see what happens tomorrow.

A Advanced Septic & Construction Services Plumbing Service
Really responsive when we wanted a septic system diagnosis.  Definitive answer.  When we started debating septic vs. sewer, they were less responsive, and were extremely unresponsive once we decided to go sewer.   Very disappointing, as we really liked the company.  Not sure if they would prefer to do septic work, but the communication was sub-par once we got to this point.

Beacon Plumbing Plumbing Service
I am updating my original post to this review because it has gotten way out of hand. The customer service manager reached out to me again to let me know that the reason why he had taken so long to respond was due to a death of a coworker, which I understand of course. When he asked me how I would like to proceed I of course note that since I was not aware of the charge I should receive a refund. Which obviously the company can say no to since the work has been done. But at least I expected an apology since the plumber did the work and THEN asked me to sign a receipt which he said it was a receipt rather than being truthful and noting that I was signing something that said I was aware of the charge before the work was done - I was not and this employee knows it. Either way it should have ended with the customer services manager (Mark) agreeing to disagree. Instead this person threatened me into removing my original post. Which of course I will not do and I have put in a claim with the Better Business Bureau as well since no company should ever threaten a consumer regardless of the issue.
