Best Generator Installation in Seattle WA
Excellent, efficient and knowledgeable employees! First time using this company and we made a good choice to go with them! We had to replace our main water shutoff valve. We had a PVC ball valve and now have copper and brass fittings.

Expensive / Unnecessary/ Did not even attempt to fix my issue;
I had an issue with a tub faucet. I called Beacon. They quoted me $1000 MINIMUM and up to $2000 and said they were going to likely cut out the tub to be safe. The faucet needed a new cartridge installed but Beacon did not even make an attempt to remove it. Beacon wanted me to sign the $2000 estimate before any work even attempted for liability purposes. But...if I knew a handy man that was brave enough likely could be done for way cheaper?!? If I knew someone to fix it I would have called them!
Puget Sound Plumbing fixed it within 2 hrs (they did have to run for a new cartridge) - no hesitation to remove the stem from the faucet and get it taken care of. And they said if they needed access under the tub they could easily access through the cabinet adjacent to the faucet (not pull the tub). 5 starts to Puget Sound Heating and Plumbing. I would steer clear of Beacon at all costs.

The way I see it, they are disrespectful. Not one cus.service person wore a mask. Not one! (we are in our mid 70s) The entire place was buzzing w workerbees (money makers) but they couldn't be bothered to respect anyone else. They have recently EXPANDED. Their company is huge now, but they don't give a shit about their customers, it's all about the buck...
We used their services a few yrs ago and paid them big bucks for their services... 24K for a septic system. Back then, they were good, and they had a good rep, which is why we chose them. Today their reviews are bad. (I'm sorry I didn't check out their reviews before we purchased from them...
Recently we purchased parts from them, and of course paid what they charged. (turns out. they were twice as much as their competitors for the same parts) We will never do business with this company
again. We needed more plumbing parts but purchased them from another company,
Not only are they over-priced, they are disrespectful re. the the virus and their cus.service remains mask(less)
PS not sure why they listed us/me from San Francisco, we live in Fed. Way, WA

We are new to Renton and had some electrical issues, called Beacon at 7pm on a Friday and they were able to fit us in for an appointment. Zach and Dennis showed up an hour later and fixed all of our issues. Very transparent and honest people. When I asked about what motivates them to take care of their customers, they said they are taken care of by the owner and they love their work and make sure they take care of their customers. They shared that the owner, they said the owner will have dinner waiting for them at home many times.
Really impressed with the people and the company.

We needed a quick turn-around on a tight time schedule and Resicon nailed it for us. They offered great ideas to improve the efficency of our plan, keep the costs down, and took on the challenge without blinking. The electrician we had onsite was polite and respectful to everyone (we barely knew he was there) and me our deadline. You made Minuteman Press a client for life.

After that initial good experience, had a hard time getting Harts to come help with problems. Three separate times they set a date to come look at a problem and no showed. The first time they called and said they ran out of time for all their stops, could they reschedule. I said sure and we set a date. Then they texted that day and said we have too many appointments and are looking for volunteers to reschedule, would you volunteer? When I didn't volunteer they just didn't show up. When I reached out to ask, they scheduled today. Never showed up. No call, no text. I was a fan of Harts. No more!

I can't speak to the quality of their work, but we had them come out to give us a quote for a complete repipe of our house. The person who came out made weird comments about how fancy our instruments were (we have a cello) and when we asked questions about some of our current pipes they gave us wrong answers (we asked these questions as a way of determining how knowledgeable/trustworthy they are). When it came to the quote, they gave us a quote for about $34,0000 pex, or about $50,000 copper. This is pretty crazy high, so we decided to go with someone else who did a great job and only cost about 13,000 for pex. They've since left multiple voicemails asking me to call back to discuss their insane quote and have been sending unsolicited spam emails. Since they don't take my non-response as enough of an answer, I decided to write this review.

a new furnace was installed in my home about a year ago. fast forward to last weekend and I decide to check (and then change) the filter. This is when I learned that a PROPRIETARY filter was used during the install rather than the standard READILY AVAILABLE size. I gave Black Hills a call hoping they would just correct the issue. after what felt like 45 minutes on the phone all I ended up with was a free service call that would include a filter change. tonight was that service appointment. the technician arrived, installed a new (identical filter that I am not able to purchase locally) filter and left no paperwork stating what he had done. When my wife asked if he made the requested adjustment she was pointedly told he was doing as he was instructed. since no paperwork was left no idea what this person did while he was in my home.

to keep the length down I will paraphrase the majority of the conversations... the very next day I received a call from B.H. (I'm guessing marketing?) and had a semi lengthy discussion regarding what had transpired and wanted to know if I was happy or not. I replied I was not all that happy since my initial request had been completely ignored. I've rarely seen people work so hard at dancing around a subject. clearly not their first rodeo. I finally gave up and hung up. within a couple hours I received a call from Casey (unsure of the spelling) who wanted to discuss this further. I'd already made my mind up that I was done with asking them to make this small problem right but they didn't drop it. Casey called back about mid afternoon and here we go again. simple reasoning could not be conveyed that a small alteration to their work would change the situation so drastically that rather than 2 [brands of] filters fitting the furnace there'd be two to three times that many. this logic was completely lost on her. she only wanted to state obvious facts (we've never had this problem with any furnace we've ever installed, etc etc). I'm so disappointed by all of this. I'd much rather report back that all ended well but it hasn't. if you're in need of HVAC work I really would look elsewhere. Black Hills will not be getting a second chance with me. when I get A/C added to my home in the next year or two they won't even be given a chance to do the install. they have lost out!
