Best Gas Furnace Installation in San Francisco CA

We bought our home in 2006 and the previous owners of 30+ years highly recommended them for any plumbing and heating problems with the house.   My water heater gave up 2 years ago and Luis came out and banged out the job.  Recently I had a issue with the pilot light and no hot water, called Tromborg (7pm) and they were here no less than 15 minutes assessed the issue, replaced the faulty part all within 45 minutes.  Family owned business and they treated me like family, these guys are AWESOME!  If you are not using Tromborg for your heating and plumbing then you probably paid too much and got crappy service.  Do yourself a favor and call them NOW if you have any plumbing or heating issues.

We contracted with Harry Clark Plumbing for a 4 day sewer lateral replacement. Their crew worked 4 hours/day for 3 days then disappeared for 3 weeks suggesting that they couldn't advance because the City of Oakland did not have available inspectors. When I spoke to Brad, the owner of the company following their completion, he advised that a part of the delay was that they had not received the permit until 2 weeks following the start of the project and that they, therefore, couldn't get an inspection scheduled in a timely way. Added to that he advised that they had some project management failures as their team has been impacted by personal issues of key personnel. When I suggested that the costs of these types of internal issues driving sub-par performance should be the impact of his business not his customer he became aggressive and insulting so I simply hung up. I'll call his staff now to pay our full invoice (I had asked that they consider a 10% reduction based on having open pits in our yard for the duration of the delayed project) and I strongly encourage any of you reading this review to consider using a more professional company for your plumbing needs. They are certainly out there!

Brent came to check out my water heater because I've been having issues with my water temperature.   He was very thorough and gave me great options for next steps.  I have used Jazz previously and have always had a 5 star experience.

Technician came out for a quote on a Monday and was on time and polite. Told me he could have a written estimate most likely by Wednesday. Almost
Two weeks later, never received any estimate.

An update, the installation is done and we're very happy with it. Del, Tyler, and Eric, efficiently installed our new air conditioning unit, water heater and furnace, and got it all set up on schedule. They also hired electricians to run wire from the furnace to the AC and that went smoothly too. I highly recommend their services to anyone in the market for them!

We had a bit of a surprise when it turned out the vent in the garage I mentioned in my prior review, that Andrew had said they'd include for us, was not written in the final plan despite being promised to us verbally. It turns out that the vent he suggested would have been against code. When we went to follow up with Andrew to clarify the matter, it turned out that he had left the company since signing our deal. That was a concerning note to start the installation on, and we did feel a little misled by it all, and made us wonder whether any of the other things Andrew had told us were true, like that we needed an especially expensive air conditioning unit to meet code. However, the actual installation went very smoothly and we're quite happy with the work that was done.

Seriously, this is one of the best experiences I have had with a plumber - Pablo and I corresponded via email regarding my particular need.  He was transparent about the type of work needed and even gave me recommendations on a nice replacement faucet for my kitchen sink.

Total scope of work included installing a reverse osmosis kit and replacing the faucet - Mike and Ryan were my plumbers on the day of installation.  They texted me a half hour before their arrival and were at my house within their appointment window.  They greeted me with smiles and walked me through their work - part of the tank for the reverse osmosis kit did not fit under the sink so Mike was able to adjust the work and use a portion of my other cabinet to accommodate the whole kit.

They were thorough in their work and finished in less than two hours.  I will definitely be calling them again for any work that I need!!  Thank you, gentlemen!!

Excellent response time!  Angel arrived 90 minutes after I called.  Also, very knowledgeable and experienced.  We could tell right away we were in capable hands.  Would call them again in a heartbeat if I couldn't manage the situation myself.

Dale came out and did a repair on my air conditioner on time, polite and experienced, and suggested how I can save $$ when it and the heater need replacement. How about a free lunch for him?

If you live in Pacifica you may have wall heaters too. MAINTECH SERVICE in Pacifica is a great resource if the heater needs to be repaired, replaced or a thermostat needs to be installed or updated. Not only is the maintenance service excellent, the customer service is terrific too. I have called on Maintech Service multiple times. Each time they quickly scheduled the appointment, assessed the problem and then solved the problem at the same time. Compared to other service providers, their pricing is very reasonable and they have even worked with me to make a large unexpected project more affordable. I would highly recommend Maintech Service and I'm happy I have this resource nearby.

Joey at Honrath & Stacey saved the day for us again! Our heater died and we spent a very cold evening and following day. I talked to Joey in the morning and he gave me an ETA and called me with an update during the day. When he arrived (right on time) he was able to make a diagnosis and repair in less than half an hour. Second time we've used their services and we're very happy campers!

They really are half price I got a quote from another company for 2400 and they charged 1300 for the same job.  They took care of the problem right away. I am very satisfied with their work. I found my new plumber whenever I need one. I also needed some other work done and he referred me to the right people that also have the best price.

I called Ongaro's to get the third of three bids for a split-unit air conditioner installation. I wanted to put the unit into a large recessed cabinet above the closet in our bedroom. I got quotes from two other heating/a.c. companies, but when Dean came out, he said that my plan wouldn't work and in fact would void the warranty on the unit. I called the manufacturer to see whether he was right, and it was true. He turned down $3-4K worth of work and broke my heart (we really had our hearts set on it), but what he did was right. Guess whom I'll call next time?
