Best Heater Installation in San Diego CA

This is one of the fixed price companies that totally overcharge. I plan on reporting my experience to the Better Business Bureau.  Please beware!  I don't normally write reviews but I feel compelled to warn people about this company.
I called them because my pressure control valve was leaking when I went out into the front yard in the morning. It is a simple issue of replacing the valve which I could have done myself but I had to go to work and didn't want to leave it leaking all day.  I checked Home Depot and the part is $88 so I figured it might cost around $200 to replace.
So I called CSR and they said they could come right out--OK great.  I had to go to work so my wife met the guy at the door and she showed him the leak.  She then watched him talk on the phone for 15 minutes and could hear him strategizing on what the fixed price would be based on the circumstances: leaking valve, woman at the door, nice house in Del Mar.  He came back and told her $650.  To replace an easily accessible valve in the front yard.  They were obviously hoping that since he was already there my wife would just say OK go ahead and fix it.  But she called me instead and I spoke with the guy.  He said it was a special pressure control valve that they needed so he would have to go and get it which is why it was so much.  So I called the office to get the price breakdown.  I was told that the $650 is a flat fee.  When I asked how they came up with the price, they couldn't give me a valid explanation--they hemmed and hawed, saying the part was around $200 plus fittings.  I asked how much was labor and asked what they were charging me to go pick up the part.  And he contradicted his employee saying it wasn't about picking up the part, it was simply their flat fee for this type of job.  Well I had obviously caught them in a lie and they were trying to cover it up.
So I instead called my gardener and he was able to come and fix it in 15 minutes.  It was truly that simple.  So please beware of this company and their Fixed pricing which is just a way of over charging.

Used them for a couple of issues through the recent years...water heater, leaking water main in my garage.  Timely, professional and quick each time.

Had a new stove installed, it was sticking about 5 inches off the wall because of how the gas line was positioned.
The estimate process was quick, got a response in minutes and they price matched!
I think luck was on our side as we were able to get an appointment almost immediately. The work was done quick and efficient and our stove now sits where it should!

Justin was very efficient, get the job done fast and with quality, we had Justin help us replace a leaking bathroom faucet and a broken food processor, a really reasonable price compared to some other vendors we talked to. Called up just to get a routine maintenance (~$78) done on my AC unit and initially found it a little odd that Fred, the owner, wanted me to text him my contact info and address.  Turns out he's just super busy and it's easier just to get the info to him on a text rather than him having to write it down while he's on the go.  I get it.  

Fred arrived early and explained everything he was doing as he was performing the maintenance.  He checked the AC unit and even went up to my attic to be thorough.  No problems found and no attempts at up-selling or phony made up repairs.

Fred deserves the 5-star reviews.  He's very busy and there's a good reason for it.  Yelp did not let me down on this choice.  Fred was above board, honest, knowledgable, provided great tips and recommendations on my AC unit, filter changes (per Fred, the cheapest ones work just fine), etc.  He even explained the warranty of the Carrier brand AC unit at my house.  Fred even does plumbing.  I've got him on speed dial now for my AC and plumbing needs.

My experience with TL Premier Plumbing's High Pricing & Incorrect Diagnosis.  Be careful if they find more than one leak.
      1.      They insisted that I sign a document on their laptop agreeing to a $250 leak detection.
2.      Leak detection usually involves specialized equipment to detect leaks in concrete slabs and walls, where access is limited. I was surprised that they didn't use detection equipment, but just felt the walls for moisture.  Because there was a little moisture on the drywall under the sink, they opened it up, but couldn't find a leak at that location.  They opened another drywall area behind the dishwasher and finally found the leak. I've never had a plumber charge me to open drywall and then give me a separate price for repairs. Most plumbers charge for a leak search and apply it to the final repair bill.  
3.      TL Premier Plumbing determined there were three leaks.  Their estimate to fix all three leaks and replace the kitchen faucet was $1,250 as long as I provided the faucet.  In addition, they stated that they would need to open the stucco on the exterior wall to repair the leaks, which would have added an additional stucco repair bill. They clamped the leak and wanted to return the following day.  Thankfully, they wanted come back.  I trusted their diagnosis and would have agreed to the repair of those three leaks on the same day, because I trusted them.
4.      I called another plumber, #2, for another quote. When they arrived, they only found one leak.  The primary leak was dripping to a connecting pipe further down, which is why it appeared as if there was a second leak.  The kitchen faucet was not leaking at all. The condensation from the primary leak made it seem as if there was a third leak.  Plumber #2 fixed the leak at an hourly rate of $105. There was no need to open the stucco exterior wall either. All the repairs were done from the interior of the house. If Plumber #2 were to do a leak search (not detection), they would charge a $150 flat fee, and then apply that fee to the final cost of repairs.
Bottom line: The correct appraisal by Plumber #2 led to the leak being fixed for $295.00 - total. TL Premier Plumbing would have charged $1250.00 - four times the cost! Based on my experience, I do not recommend TL Premier Plumbing.

Community plumbing will be on my 1st to call  list from here on out. I was in desperiate need to clear my stopped tub and toilet. I called them early in the morning and they were out to see me that afternoon. I also had them install a water line in to my fridge so I can finally have automatic ice. They were quick, efficient, respectful and clean. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

I give Cody and Victor an A+!! Amazing work, fast, friendly, considerate (wore booties in the house to protect my carpet from the muddy rain) and very reasonably priced! They even threw in a drain stainer for me to keep all the nasty things from dropping down the sink again (I have two kiddos and the amount of stuff stuck in the pipe was crazy) I will definitely be using them again for my properties. We noticed a leak on the bathroom floor and we discovered that base of the toilet has been cracked. We contacted the property management, but they stuck us the bill since we did not notate the damage when we moved in. The crack is totally not visible when you are just looking at the toilet and we did not think to bend down to look down the base of the toilet when we moved in... We operate small business and the budget is tight, so we called around few places on Yelp and Matt from Armstrong Plumbing gave me reasonable quote and sounded professional. Other places tried to tell me that toilet that has bolt 14 inches from the wall is more expensive, or we need valve replaced and etc... Matt told me technician would be on the way. Mark called me prior to arrival when I can expect him, then he showed up on time. He was a friendly professional guy and he quickly shut off the valve, removed the bolts and inspected everything. He told me that all looks good and it will be simple toilet replacement job. Before he went out to get the toilet, he gave me ETA. Mark finished the job on time, then took the old toilet through the warehouse instead of quick office path so that water does not drip on the carpet. We are very happy with the job and discovery of Armstrong Plumbing.

Responsive, timely, respectful, and honest- could not have asked for a better plumber! I left a Yelp quote late Friday evening for a kitchen sink repair, Daniel responded first thing Saturday morning and was at my door within the hour as quoted. Worked quickly and efficiently, no frills- I am very impressed with his work and would 100% recommend him. It's very difficult to find a good honest plumber nowadays so I am very grateful to have discovered this one.

Armando responded with a quote in literally 5 minutes, and the next morning I had my new water heater installed. Martin was professional, on time, and knowledgeable. Was given a more than fair price especially for a weekend, I will be using Eastlake plumbing for all my future plumbing needs.

Easily the best plumbers I've ever hired. Richie showed up on time, was friendly, and did a thorough job without trying to sell me anything I didn't need. This will be my new go-to company for any plumbing jobs or problems. Highly recommended.

A few weeks ago I had a stopped up kitchen sink and I was concerned because the last time I had it cleared, another plumbing company had used a mechanical router going through the roof and wound up breaking one of the cast iron pipes that I have going in to my main waistline. One of my big concerns was if they did it again that they might break open the main waste line which would have been a real mess.  I called and talked to Freddy and we made arrangements for him to come out the next day. I really wanted Freddy because he had the most experience. However the day he was to come out he told me that the night before he had been on another job until 5 in the morning and was going to send Miguel. I was a little apprehensive because Miguel wasn't quite as experienced however Freddy assured me that he really knew what he was doing, and if there was any problem he would come out.

As it turned out Freddy really did know what he was doing. He took a different approach and removed a pipe from underneath the kitchen in a crawl space, and used a small router so I didn't have to go into the waistline. Smart kid. After that since he was there I had a seal on one of my toilets that needed replacing because the toilet was leaking around the bottom. I had this done once before but it has started leaking again. When Miguel took the toilet off to replace the seal, he noticed the flange was sticking up about three eighths of an inch above the floor. He thought about it and then went out to the truck and got some small pieces of wood to use as a shim so the front of the toilet so it would be level with the back. Two other plumbers had failed to do this or even notice it which led to the leaks in the first place. I have used plumbing tree once before and I was very happy with them then as well. They are very capable know what they are doing and do a great job of cleaning up. I highly recommend them.

5 star service from Steven today!  We had a leaky pipe in our shower and live in a condo. We had to turn off the water to our building for 7 other units do get it fixed. Stem arrived right on time ( always a plus to me). He completed the job within in the timeframe estimated (another plus to me) and completed it right! He was kind and professional and even was kind to my very protective dog! Thank you for the great work, Steven! Well recommend you to family and friends!

Black Mountain Plumbing goes above and beyond.  My review is a little over due.  My water heater started leaking really bad on a FRIDAY AFTERNOON... late, like 4 PM and I was able to get in contact with Black Mountain Plumbing they came out the same day and set me up with a temporary water heater.....YES, a temporary water heater so I could have hot water while the dry wall dried out and was replaced.  Once the dry wall was dried and replaced they came out and installed a nice new water heater.  The guys were super friendly and professional and left everything tidy and clean.  I will always call Black Mountain Plumbing for all my future needs.  THANK YOU!

I had a tankless water heater drained. It was a pretty quick job. I had one other issue with a sink and the technician actually saved me some money. I purchased a $20 part through Amazon and fixed it myself. I would hire California Plumbing again.
