My old plumber moved out of state and recommended Core Plumbing. When it comes to water and electric, i don't bother doing it myself. Too much risk and downside should something happen. Do it right, and get it done by a professional. Quality counts.
Grant arrived at my home on time for the installation of my dishwasher. He was polite, knowledgeable, and knew exactly what he was talking about. The dishwasher turned out to be more challenging to install than anticipated. Grant kept his cool, and continued on with the job. I couldn't be more happy with the end result. It's perfect.
Core will be my go to plumber for anything moving forward. Highly recommended and they charge a reasonable price.

I have a gas line (black iron pipe) in the attic and it was in the way of where the bathe vent had to be placed. I had received 6 estimates (all from the big local pluming companies) prior to this one. One included a cheesy flex pipe . And they all ranged in price from $500 (the cheesy flex pipe) to close to $2000. I called Justin who came out and gave me a free estimate $300.00!! ...to do it the RIGHT way. He had me call Debbie to schedule. It took a while to book them, but when he finally came out BAM! Done! Beautiful work on the Cheap! I would Highly recommend!!

After the first plumbing company bid $350 to replace two owner-supplied bathroom faucets and proceeded to change the quote to $1500 when they arrived, we called Ace who had bid slightly higher. They also increased to quote but only to $700. I understood the reason for the increase and felt $700 was a good rate. The plumber was on time, efficient, and the work was high quality. I recommend them and we plan to call them again soon

Hello, my name is Shayne and I live in South Park, San Diego. I hired Community Plumbing to move a gas line. When Tony and Eric from Community Plumbing arrived to move the gas line we asked them if they could hook up our sink too. They were more than happy help out. Once they started they found many mistakes a handyman we hired had made, which were obvious once they showed me and explained it in detail. They managed to fix all the mistakes that were made and get our kitchen up and running!. Tony and Eric were professional, helpful and worked very well together. We will be using Community Plumbing for all of our future plumbing needs. Thank you Community Plumbing!

Armstrong did an excellent job for me on a full house repipe. This is a 3-bath, two story house built in 1985. I decided on a repipe after discovering a slab leak. I talked to and received quotes from 5 contractors in all and decided on Armstrong because after meeting with Matt Farmer (Operation Manager) I sized him up as someone who knew what he was talking about and would be conscientious in execution. His quote for the work, as I discovered, was reasonable and fair. I liked very much that with Armstrong, the person who gives you the quote and explains what the job entails is also the person who does the actual work, at least in the case of a big job like this. Before deciding on what company to use, I want to have met and taken the measure of the actual, principal worker. (With some contractors, an estimator comes out but then they in turn hire whomever on their list happens to be available.)
One thing Armstrong did for me is surely not typical of plumbing contractors. I told Matt that I wanted to do the drywall repair myself instead of using a drywall contractor. (I had been told by then that my cost for the drywall work, not including repainting, would likely run $1,500 - $1,800.) I am handy in a general way and although I had never done drywall or anything related to construction, I figured I could learn to do it. (I was right.) When I told Matt my plan to do the drywall repair myself, he said that they could make the cuts neat and rectangular, and do it so that I would have wood exposed that I could drill into; that they could even put in a piece of wood for screws as needed. They were also careful to keep any cut out square that was still in good shape and were able to put two of them back in the wall. Not only that, but they told me what tools to buy to do the drywall work and I went to Home Depot and got the few hand tools I needed, a dimpler for my drill, the mud they recommended (Westpac premixed lightweight) and a first spray can of wall texture for doing the texture called knockdown. As I was doing my first repair, on the wall behind where the dishwasher goes, they gave me pointers and Matt demonstrated with the drywall knife. When I was looking at having to do my first texturing on an area behind a toilet that was ready to go back, Matt actually did the texturing for me so I could watch and learn to do it. (If you have knockdown at your house versus, say, orange peel you are lucky because knockdown turns out to be easy and fast to do.) The intro to drywall that Armstrong gave me made it possible for me to get started right away and achieve good results. I completed the work needed so they could put two bathroom mirrors back in place and reinstall a toilet. With the other openings, which are in ceilings and walls and will be visible, I will slow down and take my time.
When I have told people (that would be two neighbors, a family member and a staff member in the construction dept. at Home Depot) how Armstrong helped me get started on the drywall, their reaction has been uniformly along the lines of, A contractor did that for you? They did it and they did it with good grace.
A final thing stands out for me. The dishwasher was put back at the very end of the job. (I don't use the dishwasher day to day because I don't generate enough stuff to wash to make it worthwhile.) When we ran a test, in the in the dishwasher's drain cycle the water started spewing out of the release over the sink. It turned out that the guy who initially installed the garbage disposer some time back failed to remove a plug that allows the dishwasher to drain through there. The plug is supposed to be removed by the installer before the unit goes under the sink. Matt was able to get in and remove the plug, after which the dishwasher drained properly. I consider it a courtesy on his part to have done this troubleshooting, seeing as how not only was this not his mistake in the first place, it was, truth to tell, outside the scope of the repipe he had quoted and that I was paying him for. I'm pretty most contractors would have said, this is a separate problem and I will fix it for X amount. So, Matt, thank you for that.
All in all, I feel like I hit the jackpot with this company. They are professional and easy to work with. They communicate well. They will ask you what your preference is if there are different options at some juncture in the work, and explain each option. The team of two, that would be Matt and another plumber, worked very well together. The three people in all who did work here all were very experienced plumbers, not trainees or novices. Matt himself has about 20 years experience and it shows.
A 5 star performance.

Daniel was right on time, and in describing his work in one word, I would say meticulous.
He replaced 6 aging angle stops and installed a new toilet for me, took about 2 hours altogether.
He seems to organize everything in his mind because every step he took was the next logical one to get the job done properly and efficiently.
He cleaned up everything and hauled away the old toilet and trash.
And it should go without saying everything worked perfectly.
He charged me $50 per angle stop and threw in a few new supply lines for free.
The toilet install was $125 which I thought quite reasonable considering how much work is involved, and him carting off the old one.
He explained everything in detail and took his time to ensure everything was correct and worked as it should.
He also used an app on his phone for the invoice, which was emailed to me.
Highly recommend him as he has many years of experience and clearly knows what he's doing.
I got him to quote me for all the work via the Yelp app which is a great way to compare prices with other plumbers BEFORE they show up to your house.
Next up, a new water line for the ice maker for our refrigerator!
PS. He's in the neighborhood (North Park/Hillcrest) so he's a local which makes it even nicer.

Again, I called True Plumbing to repair a toilet gasket. I asked for Mike again, who is a really, highly experienced guy in many areas, besides being a great and talented plumber. He came to the house on time, quickly assessed the problem, professionally resolved the problem. The cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company, and I would ask for Mike.

Man I could have not gotten a better response and service. The Tech was awesome, on time and very professional. He came in and not only unclogged my drain but provided me with some recommendations and service that would make fixing a repeat issue less stressful, messy and time consuming. He also stayed with in budget and honored the advertsed price. I am keeping this plumbing company on my speed dial list lol.

We had Black Mountain Plumbing come out for an estimate then repair faucets, unclog drains, and replace the water heater in our 5 bathroom, 15 year old home. Robert was extremely easy to work with, answered all of our questions, and effectively educated us on all of our options for repair and replacement. He and his crew were on time and worked efficiently to complete the job on schedule as promised. Their work is high quality and we are happy with the results. We highly recommend Black Mountain Plumbing!

We have had a clog under our washing machine and a leak in our bathroom, both were making us crazy and we finally decided to call a plumber. We spoke with Matt from Almighty Plumbing and he sent Ricardo to our house in less than 30 minutes.
He fixed both issues quickly and efficiently. While Ricardo was here, Matt, the owner, stopped by to introduce himself and see if Ricardo needed anything. We were expecting the bill to be at least three times what it was.
We will never use another company again.
