Best Septic Tank Services in San Antonio TX
Hired Peoples Choice for the second time.
This time the owner didn't come out but sent a plumber that was experienced and knowledgeable.
He fixed my leak under my kitchen sink without a hitch.
We will be calling these guys again in the future.

Let me begin by saying these guys have been out to my place twice, and also to two of my neighbors (I know, and I'm just now writing a review, shame on me). Ted just replaced an ancient vanity and toilet in one of our bathrooms. Not only was the price fair and work superb, he also gave excellent suggestions that saved us a lot of headache.
They book up quickly, but trust me, they are excellent so it's worth waiting an extra few days to get them to come out.

We had a plumbing emergency that involved a leak from our second story to our family room downstairs. Bluebonnet Plumbing came out the day we called! They are always professional, courteous, and friendly from the time you call to make an appointment to when they have diagnosed and solved the problem. They are a very trustworthy company that works hard to help people out. This is the second time we have used them and we will come back time and time again! Thank you so much Bluebonnet Plumbing!!!

LITERALLY CALL ANY OTHER PLUMBER. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Update: As of 3/12/21 we still have yet to receive any type of response back from the company with answers, except for replies to social media reviews.
I called them and they came to my house to diagnose the issue and stated they needed $2200 just to schedule the appointment. Then a week later, on Saturday, they called me at the time they were scheduled to show up for the job and asked if they could reschedule for Monday. At that point I had been without water for 13 days, so of course I said no and they came. They had to cut a small hole in the wall under my kitchen sink to fix the issue. This was such a small job that they had it completed in two hours. Also, let it be known that the days they came out was AFTER the storm. Safe and sun shining conditions. After it was all said and done they charged me $1900 on top of the $2200. Over $4100 dollars for less then 3 hrs of work.. so $1366/hr. I requested a itemized bill to see why it would cost this much. I still have yet to receive a email or phone call for over a week even though I have been calling and leaving messages everyday. How disgusting does a company have to be to price gouge a family during desperate times. We aren't the only ones this has happened to. Be sure to read their google reviews so you don't become one of their victims.

Water heater started leaking but was still under factory warranty. All I needed to do was to return it to Lowe's, give them the return authorization number I received from Whirlpool, and they would replace it for free. Called and got several quotes from plumbers. After asking me a bunch of questions, Holloway gave me a quote over the phone of approximately $300 to drain and remove the water heater, return it to Lowe's for an exchange, and reinstall it. Their quote was a lot lower than anyone else, so I decided to use them. The first available date they could do it was 5 days out on a Monday afternoon. Holloway called about an hour before our appointment and said they could not make it because another job was giving them problems and was going to take them another 6 hours. They rescheduled us for first thing on Friday (9:00 am). At 10:00 on Friday I called Holloway to see where they were. They said they removed us from the schedule because they thought we were going to have a different plumber do the job. I don't know where they got that idea. They said they would see what they could do. After about an hour they called back and said they could come out between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. The technician showed up around 4:30 pm. He looked at the water heater and worked up another quote. He said it would cost us $785.00 to drain and remove the water heater, return it to Lowe's for an exchange, and reinstall it. He also said we needed some mandatory code upgrades for an additional $719.00, for a grand total of $1,504.00. However, the technician said he could not do the repair that day because he did not have a helper and he couldn't do it himself. He said he would have to reschedule us for another day. We told him to forget it. He said he was going to have to charge us $39.00 for the service call, but when we complained about it he waived the fee. I will never call Holloway Plumbing again.

Another plumber told me that I needed to replace my water heater. One of the thermostats and elements had gone bad. Jim was able to replace the parts without costing me the expense of getting a new water heater. I was so happy not to have to pay thousands of dollars. Jim is truly a nice person and knows a lot about plumbing. He's very easy to talk with and takes the time to diagnose the problem and make sure everything is in good shape. At every step he explained what he was doing and why it was necessary. You won't go wrong if you call Jim.

I knew what I needed in replacing our sewer line, and the options I needed quoted. Matthew was easy to communicate with and he understood exactly what we needed. His quote was neither too expensive nor too low, but reasonable for all the options I provided. Matthew was a quality young man, and a good representative of the company.

These guys are respectful and honest. We had two separate issues that needed repair -- one was an easy fix, but the other took several days and trips to our house to get it properly fixed. The wouldn't settle for less than perfect. Ben specifically was incredibly professional - always saying yes,ma'am and wearing shoe covers in my home. They even worked around my 1 year old's nap schedule so their work wouldn't wake him. We will work with them again in the future for sure!

They are great! Fixed a broken bed frame, replaced a ceiling fan, balanced another ceiling fan, and fixed a blocked lightbulb socket in our oven hood!!! I will definitely call them again!!!

The toilet in our apartment wasn't working right. The complex wouldn't fix it so we had Franco's plumbing come in and do it. He figured out right away what was wrong and fixed it. He was very professional, came on time and did it all for a good price. It's a family owned company and you can tell he knows what he's doing. I would recommend them!

The company was extremely unprofessional in our experience with them. We called and requested information about setting up an appointment to come to inspect and diagnose the problem in a bathroom. They agreed to send a service person out, and then once they came out, they informed us that they charged a trip fee. Not only did they not tell us that there was a fee, but it was an hourly fee. $150 an hour. After they tell us that they would charge us $3,200 to REPLACE a bathtub. That charge again was just to replace a bathtub. They said that $3,200 didn't even get the wall replaced in the surround area once the tub was replaced.
Needless to say, we chose not to use them, they said that we owed them $300.00 to come out and give that ridiculous charge, then they threaten to put a lien on the property because we told them that NO ONE had ever mentioned a charge. If they had been honest up front, we certainly wouldn't have agreed to have them come out if that had been forthright and reputable to us as customer.
Be careful if you choose to use them, that omit charges and then threaten to file liens on your property. I think that the legal term for this is extortion.

I called roto rooter this afternoon for a clean out and I was told someone will contact me between 16:00-20:00 to confirm. I missed a call at 15:30 while I was on my way home. I called back as soon as I arrived at home like 15:50. They told me a dispatcher would call me back. No one ever called me. I called back at 1800 to see if someone is still making my service call. I was on hold for a long time again for a dispatcher to talk to me only to get the service rep come back saying they made several attempts to contact me and there was no answer. I've been home since 15:50! I just canceled and went with someone else. Don't waste your time with roto rooter! They keep you on hold and they don't adhere to schedule time of appointment and they lie cus no one there really wants to work!

My neighbor had used Roto-Rooter years ago for the exact plumbing problem I was having, and she didnt have problems. So I scheduled service online. I was very detailed from the start, explaining that I live in a Manufactured Home that is 20+yrs old. That I have a waste water line clogged and its causing waste water to back up into the shower and toilet etc. I put in the wrong area code for my contact number, and did not realize this until no one showed during the scheduled time. I called the company and the woman said they had been trying to reach me, and that they could still make it that day. They would be here within 2 hours. They never showed. Since I initially screwed up, I decided to reschedule the appointment. The techs arrived on time and were very friendly and informative. The price I was quoted was $450 to unclogged my line. Ouch! I agreed and they went to work. After about n hour and a half of what sounded like the flooring in my home was being ripped apart, they informed me that I would need to have a Clean Out installed because my line makes a left turn to head to the main line and the Snake could not make that same turn. All homes have them normally. I asked what that would cost and they called their supervisor and they quoted me a price of $1300-$1500. I decided to shop around. They explained that once I got the Clean Out installed I could just give them a call back and they would come clear my line. They did not charge me for their time and effort, which I thought was cool.
I got the Clean Out installed for $500, and my friend who installed it informed me that I had a new leak. He said it was where 2 pvc pipes are joined. The leak was not there prior to Roto-Rooter. I made a note to point it out to the techs when they arrived. On Tuesday I scheduled service for Wednesday mid-day.
In my request I stated I had gotten the Clean Out installed and needed them to come back and unclog my line.
The tech that arrived was not one that had been to my home on the first service call. After getting him up to date on what had transpired with my clogged line, he informed me that Roto-Rooter does not service mobile homes. I told him they did a few days ago. He said he couldn't assist me and left. I called the company and was told by the female on the other end that Roto-Rooter does not make service calls to mobile homes. I told her that her techs were not a figment of my imagination. She basically hung up on me.
I was upfront from the beginning about this being a mobile home. How did they come up with the $450 they were gonna charge me to clear my line? Did I really need the Clean Out put in? Or was that a scam to try and get me to fork over that kind of money? What about the leak they caused?
My advice based on my experience is this, dont call or use this company.
