Pros: friendly service, fair prices, minimal machine runaround when called, usually fast appointment service, free estimates
Con: no over phone estimates, ok plumbers work, equipment capabilities.
Had some work done last year. They will take advantage if you don't know what you need. Some of their plumbers have no idea what they are doing so if you don't know what you need, these guys are not the ones to go to for it. Overall: They do have some competent techs(2nd plumber was more knowledgeable), prices are fairly competitive if you know what you want. Service with a smile while doing the minimum. By the way, first plumber offered me to do an open trench mainline replacement dug to 10 ft deep(not allowed by law).

My AC had a messy problem that it would stop working after a certain amount of time. Luis came in and tried everything but he couldn't break the sneaky thing, but he had a good guess on the failing unit. On his second visit he brought a motor and fixed the problem promptly.

This is a good company that cares its customers, and technicians that can actually fix your problem. I would choose them again.

Don't ask yourself if should,  just hire these guys!! They are THE BEST!! I reach out yesterday and they were on it TODAY! Nick fixed my doors and locks with amazing efficiency and did a perfect job.

We needed to replace the old copper water line running to our fridge. Reliable Plumbers came out to provide a quote, which was reasonable and fair. We accepted and they dove into the work, proposing a better plan to route the new flexible metal water line under our kitchen and coming up through the floor behind the fridge. Unfortunately, our heating and air ducting blocked the plumber's access to do so, so he ended up having to run the new line through the same path as the previous (through wall, through kitchen cabinets, etc.), which was more manual work, but they honored their original quote.

In the end, the work got done well and we now have much faster water coming from our fridge. Happy customer.

Shah was absolutely amazing with his craftsmanship and he installed 2 sink vanities and a vanity light with ease. He wore a mask to my intial estimate consultation and worked very quickly on finishing the project. I would hire him again for his fair pricing and quick service! He is super knowledgeable and will work with your schedule and availability. I would recommend him for anyone!

I was trying to correct some bathroom work done by another contractor. It turned out to be more than I could chew. I hopped and Yelp and found Jay. He called me back pretty quickly. Setup something up within two days. Next thing you know, everything is hooked up! He did and excellent job and the price was right. I highly recommend him.

Mike is a really awesome handyman! He is very skilled and knows what he is doing. I had him do some work on my kitchen and he did a great job!

Yolo County is not as big on Yelp compared to the Bay Area. So as a Landlord looking for a Handyman, Electrician, Plumber, etc.  One can only use reviews, if there are no referrals or word of mouth to trust.

I was looking for someone to fix a furnace at a property in Woodland. I first called a different company in Woodland w/ only 5 reviews, but had 5 stars.  They did not do a very good job, b/c after their visit the furnace only worked for one day. Then, they tried to charge me for another visit to come back.  
How do I know they did not do the bare minimum, so that they would have to come back again??

I then called Home Depot, and b/c they do not have technicians to install furnaces, they use a third party.  The third party is not very responsive, b/c I had to call and text multiple times to get information on my estimate.  Once I got the estimate, I was told there were other problems he saw separate from the furnace, which in turn would add additional expenses.  Definitely not going with them. Also I cross checked the third party with Yelp and they had mostly good reviews as well, but some bad said the same things about being unresponsive.    

Then I found TJ Robb.  His name sounded familiar with an Electrician I used in Davis.  After calling, it so happened TJ was the same person I used for a previous job.  I had TJ go out to the home in Woodland and he was able to fix the furnace the RIGHT WAY!

TJ was very responsive with phone calls, and his pricing is very fair.  I do not know why I didn't think of TJ sooner and wasted money with other companies.  

Be careful when choosing a business. There are a lot of companies having their friends leave fake reviews to bolster their rating.
You can tell in the Yolo County area b/c the small businesses do not receive many reviews. And the reviews that they do receive, the reviewers have only reviewed one or two places and their profile is bare.  Those aren't real Yelpers.  

I realized the two previous businesses I mentioned above had some fake reviews.  But TJ all his reviews on his page are real.  

Go with TJ Robb, he's a jack of all trades and has a wide array of skills.
