I had Gibson Plumbing & Mechanical come out to fix my AC. They told me originally a nozzle needed replaced and system charged. After completing work they said the compressor was not working. They told me that my system was phased out and I needed to upgrade to a new system to include a coil change. They charged me $250 for them coming out. They then quoted me $4250.00 to fix the AC correctly. I contacted a different company, who got on phone immediately order a new compressed in the system that was suppose to be phased out. The new company is charging be $2600 to get my AC back on. Way to take advantage of people when its a 100 degrees this week. They should be ashamed of themselves. BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!!

John was great. Ultimately he did not provide any plumbing services for our house, but he did spend over 10 minutes with me on the phone talking through all the various potential issues and the various options I could choose. He even had a recommendation to do it myself if I didn't want to have to pay a plumber! Imagine that, an honest business man suggesting something that could take business from himself! He did recommend me to go with another plumbing company, which turned out to be a fantastic recommendation (see my other plumber reviews for details).

I had some bad l luck with a couple of plumbers so, I was looking for somebody new to unclog my bath tub. I saw the excellent Reviews 5Star Plumbing received so, I decided to give them a try. That was my lucky day! Dave called to find out whether he could come a little earlier than scheduled and that was great. He found that my two bathrooms, divided by a wall, had tubs back-to-back and drained into the same pipe so, dirty water backed up into BOTH tubs... He wasted no time to unclog that pipe and cleaned up after himself - which was totally unexpected. He also, gave me a Senior discount without me asking for it!
I will never call another plumber - he is awesome!

We were pleased to have a free estimate, rather than pay for a service call to tell us that our old toilet just needed a new wax ring.  They even accepted a $25 off coupon for the call!  Because we were so pleased, we had other upgrades scheduled with them in the near future.

I really liked the fact Joe from Hoffman plumbing answered the phone in person! My old water heater died and flooded my garage, he was gracious, kind and wonderful. He was able to come out quickly along with his apprentice and take care of changing out the water heater with a state of the art new one. I highly recommend him without hesitation and the price was great! Such excellent service!!!

We live in Incline Village & I was on my way out to an appointment I couldn't change when I saw our garage was partially flooded. I was pretty sure the main drain was clogged or partially clogged. On arrival & while waiting for my appointment, I called & quickly made an appointment for a few hours later that worked with my schedule. Just before I got home, Jim called to let us know he'd be there within the hour - at the early end of the timeframe given. Sure enough, he arrived promptly, checked the situation, got his equipment set up & had the drain clear in a jiffy. We couldn't have been more pleased.

I had a serious leak in main water valve that controlled water into the house.  He is very busy but said the nature of the leak needs immediate attention and came out first thing in am. They were fast working and real pro's. This valve was changed two years ago by Ben Franklin Plumbing with a very inferior valve for about twice the price and twice t he time to fix. Thank you Joe for great service.

Had a new water heater and central heat/air installed in our 20 year old modular. The service was amazing and everything is working great. What a relief from the heat of August!
