Best Gas Furnace Repair in Reno NV

Mikey's Maintenance and service Plumbing Service
He installed a pantry light and two ceiling fans. He did a great job finding out why the original pantry light stopped working. The quality of the work performed was great.
I would definitely hire him again.

Johnson Plumbing Plumbing Service
We would highly recommend this company!  We needed a new garbage disposal.  Johnson Plumbing not only installed our new one quickly, they also gave us a $35 discount for an coupon offer they were actively running that we were not aware of.  Ken was pleasant, knowledgeable and worked quickly to get the repairs done.

Desert Air Plumbing Service
Our a/c went out over the weekend,.  Trying to get someone to come out right away and that would take our home warranty insurance was impossible.  Mondy am I called Desert Air (they could have come over the weekend but we did not want the overtime charges) Adam was at our house before 9am!  He replaced the motor in our furnace unit and worked with out home warranty company -- he was great!  This company did work for us before and we highly recommend them!

NDI Plumbing Plumbing Service
Happy with the company and the services received.  They've installed a new air conditioner for us as well as replaced two toilets.

One area to that you need to be aware of is their warranty on labor is just one year.  We had our new AC installed in August 2018 and found out in July 2021 we have a freon leak.  We are working with a competitor for the repair and their workmanship is under-warranty for much longer.

Allen Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning Plumbing Service
On a record-setting day (104), our AC went out. Called up Allen based on the good reviews here, and I'm definitely glad I did. Lamont came out that same day, and though he didn't have the part he thought he needed in his truck, he came back the next day with the new control board. That did the trick, and he also ran a new pipe for proper condensation drainage. The price was fair and the work quality was excellent. What more can you ask for? Highly recommended.

All Hours Air Plumbing Service
I can't say enough good things about All Hours Air! The first thing that impressed me was that when I called, I got a call back in a very short time! Jason was professional and polite and I know I was one of many calls he was probably getting during this very cold spell. We discussed the problem, my twin furnaces were giving out lukewarm air. We made an appointment with a two hour window and he was there, ON TIME, despite very poor road and weather conditions. Jason was very efficient and knew what he was doing. He had my dual system back up and running HOT in less than 30 minutes. He was patient in describing some of the improvements and efficiencies I could do in insulating and sealing my ductwork and even suggested where I could purchase the materials to do the job myself.

All Hours Air is the type of company that you hope to get every time you have a problem and a service provider needs to be called. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their system serviced.

Marraccini Plumbing Heating & Cooling Plumbing Service
Had this company do a little work at my home. When their work failed a couple years later I had a different company come in and fix the problem. They asked how much I paid for the original service and they were amazed how much I was charged. Get a second opinion before you shell out big bucks to these guys!

Paul's Heating & Air Plumbing Service
I found the girls in the office to be very pleasant and the tech that did the work seemed pleasant enough.  I have an old stove whose pilot was not lit and I happened to mention that to the tech, wondering if he was able to take a look at it.  He says well, we don't actually do appliance work, but, i'll be glad to take a look.  So, we both hit the ground and I held his flashlight for a portion of the time while he lit the pilot...5 minutes, at the most.  Next day, i find out we get billed $180 for lighting the pilot.  Unbelievable!!  Next, our heater was blowing cold air so he fixed it.  Of course, 2 hours later, the heater no longer works (it started blowing cold air again).  The tech returns the next day (yes, the temps were down to zero degrees these nights) and fixes it again.  According to the tech, there is a defective piece in the heater along with a serious safety concern.  After already charging $500 to fix it the first time, he insists that the original installers did it wrong and the piece needed replacing is going to be another $250+.  I found another company called Root-O-Matic and they are the complete opposite.  They even walked into my home to check out the heater and tell me how to fix it, going forward, AT NO CHARGE!  Yup, no charge for simple advice!  I'm very disappointed in Paul's Plumbing as this company is the perfect example of price-gouging.  And in a field like plumbing/heating/cooling, the Average Joe like me is ignorant and we put our trust in alleged pros with big trucks and lots of tools.  It's time for us to get educated and empowered.

We needed a toilet and some valves replaced to bring everything up to code  in our Incline condo.  When we called for an appointment we explained what we needed.  David called us back with an estimate and arranged to pick up a new toilet.  Richard came to install the new toilet and replace the valve on 7/25/2013.  While he was there we discussed replacing the vales under the 3 sinks and what would be necessary to bring things up to code.  Richard did not have all the necessary parts in his truck so David arrived to do the running around to purchase parts.  After everything was installed and tested for leaks, the condo was as clean as when they arrived.  The bill was reasonable and the work was very professionally done.  We will definitely use them again when we need to replace our hydronic heating.

Hawthorne Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Plumbing Service
UPDATE: After a very long and very productive conversation between my father in law and Hawthorne plumbing, Hawthorne agreed to coming out and fixing everything (with the help of my father in law where carpentry needed to be done and when an extra pair of hands was needed). They got to my place bright and early and got everything done by 1:30ish, which was AMAZING. There is a lot to be said for a company that is willing to fix their mistakes and make sure everyone agrees on the quality of work being done, which changes this Two Star to a Four Star. Thank you, Hawthorne, for your integrity--while I wish none of this happened, I'm just happy be able to shower again!

Long story short: a $4500 one day job becomes a 5 day job that ends unfinished and costs me an extra day (at
Least) and $300 to fix.

Here's the thing: Hawthorne has come out more than once to my place and generally is able to fix what they need to. The people they send are usually nice, courteous, what have you. This time, however, was different. About a year ago I had a leak in my bathroom that they came out to fix and they let us know that eventually the whole bathroom would need to be redone because of the pipes. No problem. So back in November of 2020 the leak starts up again and is getting worse fast, so we call Hawthorne out to set up something more permanent. They come out, do not fix the leak, and sign me up for a $4500 remodel of our tub and shower. Why didn't they fix the leak? Who knows but a few weeks later it's no longer a leak, the hot water won't shut off at all and there is a risk of my bathroom flooding--call Hawthorne again and they come out and fix it in less than an hour. The tech again explains that an entire remodel needs to be done, I agree and say I already set up financing, bada bing bada boom.

We finally get someone out last Friday to do at max a day and a half to get everything done. Not ideal, but no worries, as long as I have a working shower as soon as possible! So day one comes to an end (all the while I'm in the next room hearing the tech go this is a nightmare that's not going to work and calling someone to come help him because I've never done this before--I'll give
you the job, just please come help me this is too much for me man) and the tech--who is very nice, just unprepared--tells me that it isn't done. Why? Because the replacement tub insert that he brought (which, by the way, I have never seen or approved previous to the installation, which I should have checked on granted, but also you'd think that a professional would have made sure it was approved BEFORE installation) doesn't fit so he had to TEAR APART MY CEILING in order to fit it. Oh but they don't do drywall, so I'll have to call another contractor that they work with all the time to fix it.

Day two comes and he and another tech finish what they need to do, check for leaks (they found one and presumably fix it) and leave. My husband and I call my father in law who was a contractor (mostly carpentry but also plumbing and landscaping) for 40 years comes to fix
our drywall so we have a working shower. He's PISSED. Apparently the tub was put in incorrectly, which led to a 1.5 inch gap between the tub and the tile, which he estimates will cost 200-400 to fix since we have to go buy new tile to fill the gap. They also cut through the fire wall between our unit and the one next to us and installed the faucet and spout incorrectly, which may lead to rust problems. He calls them, talks to the supervisor who agrees to send out his guys again, and that brings us to today. After talking together they agree with my
Father in law to fix the problems (which he also agrees to help them with) and he leaves to go get supplies. The tech then comes to me and says Just kidding, we aren't doing anything and now I have to go to another job. I then confronted the tech about how this was all caused by a lack of him communicating with me, which he agreed to, but did not fix.

This is just unacceptable. I feel like they took advantage of my lack of technical knowledge and then refused accountability when confronted. Now my father in law is fixing it himself (we would have had him do it the first
time but he just had back surgery) and I have to pay another $200-$400 for fixing my tile. What a wa
