We recently purchased a home that was about 20 years old that had a number of plumbing issues:  leaking drains, toilets not working properly, malfunctioning kitchen faucet, broken disposal, plus a few other items.  the folks at Van Allen was very prompt in returning phone calls and scheduling repairs. The cost was extremely reasonable and the work excellent.  An extremely professional operation all the way around.  I highly recommend them.

John of Bertani can out to our home on a Saturday afternoon to provide us with expert advice on what should be done to correct an isssue with a shower stall that was leaking.  He was very clear as to how the problem would be correct and shared many tips as to how it could be done in an economical way and still maintaining a high level of quality. Wow, Trevor provides excellent customer service! I had a toilet I needed to replace because the previous owners grouted the toilet to the floor. Anyways, Trevor came out took a look at it and took care of it. It needed a longer hose, because the current hose was too short; he took care of it. He did an amazing job and even hauled the old toilet. If you need handy man repairs, I would definitely recommend Trevor. He's awesome. I have a couple of other things I need to get done around the house and I will definitely be calling him up. We recently completed our Argo's/Quest home and following our 1 year builder's warranty, we searched for an excellent plumbing technician.

We scheduled David thru his lovely wife, Barbara, and created a punch out list of service items, ie. Flush our tankless water heater, through inspection and maintenance of our entire plumbing fixtures.

My hot water heater was about done, so I called for an estimate and recommendation. Don and his son took a look at what I had and listened to what I wanted. The estimate was reasonable and they worked with me on the date to install. They arrived on time and did superb work! So impressed I contracted them to also replace a leaky kitchen faucet and fix the bathtub. Again, on time, on the mark for price, and great work.

Had a clog in my main line sewer the day before Thanksgiving Day! They came out the next day on Thanksgiving and got the job done. Scott W. #23 was my tech and was great to work with. Thank you guys!

Had the misfortune of getting my sewer drain backed up in my home but had the pleasure of working with Josh from Friendly Plumbing to fix the situation.  

As the drains were back flowing we both assumed the main sewer drain was blocked up. Sadly, snaking the drain did nothing to repair the issue. The last resort was going to come from having to let all the water slowly drain to remove a toilet and clean the pipes that way. Something that would have left us without working toilets and showers another 24 hours at least.

Josh racked his brain and came up with another plan to work from the faucet lines to fix the issue and several Clorox wipes removed later the water was flowing again like normal and the possible stress of having to deal with this for another night was handled. Professionalism, care and knowledge saved the day and I couldn't have been happier with the result.

I fully recommend Friendly Plumbing if you have the unfortunate need for a plumber down the road.

Had a new garbage disposal to install...CNC was recommended by another business in Fernley that has excellent service. So I tried calling CNC 3 or 4 times with no answer, so I left 2 messages at 2 different numbers and no return call after 24 hours. Guess they make more money than they need.

Had to call a company out of Sparks to come do the work!
