He installed a pantry light and two ceiling fans. He did a great job finding out why the original pantry light stopped working. The quality of the work performed was great.

On January 18th, the Friday before the three day holiday, our furnace quit.  We had called NV Energy over to relight the gas furnace several days before, and although he got the furnace to work, he wasn't sure how long it would last.  It lasted three days!    We called Desert Air and within an hour, Butch, a technician came over to see what he could do to repair the furnace.  After much work and attempts, he realized that the furnace was too old to be repaired.  He then let us know that a new furnace was being readied and that it would arrive soon.  Very shortly two more technicians, Thomas and Andreas were there.  All three worked quickly to remove the old heater and install the new one, with all of its duct work, etc.  All three technicians were especially friendly, courteous, professional and diligent.  We couldn't have asked for any better technicians.  We are certainly very happy with the work, professionalism and friendly demeanor of Butch, Thomas and Andreas.  As good as it gets!!

Our 10 year old A/C went out so we shopped around and found NDI. We worked with Scot who was fantastic. We ran into a little bit of a problem, and Scott took the extra time to come up with a solution that worked perfectly, and no additional charge. The new unit is perfect, and their price was MUCH cheaper than everyone else. We were given a few choices with non of the BS.  I would recommend NDI for all of your needs.

Allen was personable, on time, gave great service and reasonably priced as a plumber.  I highly recommend.

Our water heater was outdated and costing a lot, so we decided to have a new energy efficient one installed. We were worried about cost, because money is tight, but Bill at S&S gave us a great quote.

The A/C on one of my rentals went our during the last heat wave. My tenant contacted another HVAC company in the area and they told him it would be $5K to replace my A/C unit. I told him that was ridiculous and asked him to get additional bids, nobody could come out for several days. I called my real estate Brokers (Brian & Amy Lessinger with RE/MAX - They are awesome!) and they referred me to Jason. Jason was able to get out there that same day to look at the A/C. Turns out it was the circuit board and total cost to repair was only $564! Not only was Jason responsive, but honest and ethical! He didn't try to gouge me on price, he took care of me and my tenant and I will use him from here on out for all of my HVAC needs!

Had a new water heater and central heat/air installed in our 20 year old modular. The service was amazing and everything is working great. What a relief from the heat of August!

Run from this company. We waited over 6 hours for them to show up and they never did. They lied the whole time saying someone was on their way when they never were. On top Of that it was nearly impossible to get them
To respond and when they did it was a lie. They will
Be responsive when scheduling but never when thy need to show up. Total waste of our time and worst customer service

We had an emergency with a water supply line break and these guys made it out to do the repair within an hour or two.  They are very responsive when you contact them and are very helpful with providing information, etc.  I would definitely recommend working with them.

I generally use Hawthorne plumbing for all plumbing needs as they are fast and are able to get the job done. The last problem that I had was that my water pressure was low and they had someone here within an hour who diagnosed that my water heater was dying so they flushed it and got the water pressure up to a decent level and warned me that their fix would likely not hold as my water heater was 15 years old. The total cost for this was nothing as I had used them a lot in the past and was due some free maintenance work. (The technician recorded the job as a free water heater flush but diagnosing the problem was definitely worth something!)

Note that it was non trivial to diagnose the low water pressure as they had to bypass the water heater to show that the water heater was the source of the problem. So free was a good price for this!

A couple months later, my water pressure got low again so I used Hawthorne for the replacement as their price quote was a couple hundred less than another vendor who has 4 and a half stars on Yelp. Note that I picked the water heater option with the shortest warranty as they charged a lot for the longer warranty options. I'd give Hawthorne 5 stars if they didn't push these expensive options which I don't think are worth it as they can increase the price by as much as three times and everyone installs the same brand water heater (Bradford White).

Another tricky job that Hawthorne did for me is that I had water pooling in my living room and the source of the leak was not obvious as it was a very slow leak that didn't even register on the water meter. Hawthorne was able to determine that a pipe under my stairs was leaking. The tricky part being that the only way they could even get to the pipe was to cut a hole in my living room's closet's wall. I now have an access door in my living room closet to get to these pipes in case they ever leak again.

I do appreciate how fast that Hawthorne is able to show up as some vendors can be really slow. And they have never failed to diagnose a problem.
